It was cold up on Final Destination. Shin!Arle couldn't even see the surface of the planet below the thick smog of pollutants in the planet's atmosphere. In the distance, what must've been thousands and thousands of miles away, she could see a thick cloud of what she could only assume was starvia moving across the planet's surface. ...Someone was going to have a bad time if they got caught up in that hellstorm, but thankfully it was barely even visible from where she was, let alone a threat. Final Destination was in space, of course! One of the few areas the starvia could not readily traverse, though whether it could survive in space was still unclear, if not a slightly pointless distinction. She kind of wondered how other fighters could survive up here. She herself had survived indefinitely in harsher climates like the void, but other people needed things like air ... and heat. The bright side of this seemingly inconvenient stadium was that usually only very interesting people showed up to fight in it. In all honesty, she was content to just chill out, pun intended, at the edge of the stadium and mind her own business for now. She wasn't even sure why she'd come. Nostalgia, perhaps? The sound of Final Destination's elevator approaching drew her attention, however. A lite smile crossed her face and she peered over her shoulder, eyeing the newcomer.
A New Challenger Approaches
"Oh~! It's been a while since I last met a living skeleton." Shin!Arle casually remarked. Of course, she wasn't counting the animated skeletons that served only as slaves to their masters. Those things had little intelligence or identity of their own, and generally couldn't function as life sphere citizens. This one's clothes and presence here both suggested they were more than that.
Likewise Sans would likely see something much more than what Doppelganger Arle appeared to be, a sixteen year old girl with striking golden eyes tinted red by magic and a matching ornate red breastplate and tiara. A terrible sin was deeply entangled in her red heart. Billions of deaths hung over her like the darkest cloud. Among them were friends, family, loved ones, and enemies. All had been brushed away with the same stroke. The end of a universe itself. The flame of existance, snuffed out without recourse. The ultimate sin, and yet here she was, transcending that existance to a new world. You could say that it all looked rather ... inhuman.

...Did he come up here just to see the sights? ...Well, it was a pretty unique view as far as Li was concerned. Most people couldn't simply head on up to space on a whim. The technology was expensive and the atmosphere was dangerous, making it risky and costly even by normal space faring standards. Still though, she had to wonder if he was hiding from her. Surely he had to know where he was, right? Although she suspected Sans was avoiding something, she supposed she couldn't possibly figure him out so quickly after meeting him and quickly dismissed the thought--for now. " . . . Nnnno. Actually, I came up here for the view too." Shin!Arle replied rather leisurely, the pun flying right over her head. She'd heard it, but couldn't grasp the true form of Sans' attack on humor. Perhaps she wasn't meant to. "Of course, in a few moments the cameras will probably arrive and a stadium full of people will be expecting us to put on a show for them. For a moment there I thought you had some kind of bone to pick with me~" she went on to clarify before casually dropping a pun in a deadpan tone. There was a note of disinterest in her voice when it came to the fight at hand, perhaps in stark contrast to Sans' expectations. "My name is... Arle. Some people call me Scarlet, though. I'm sure you can guess why. I'm... nobody, really. Not as far as this world is concerned. But today I guess I'll be your opponent." Shin!Arle remarked. Small flying camera robots rose up and surrounded the arena, watching them from multiple angles. Little red lights indicated they were live. "...Try to stay away from the edge. There's nothing here to keep us from falling." Shin!Arle suggested rather helpfully, before promptly levitating into the air rather effortlessly, her legs dangling as she hovered a few feet off the ground. It became apparent that she likely had no fear of falling.
...Miss? Did she 'miss'? Her series didn't even have a missing mechanic! Shin!Arle was confused by the apparent ease of Sans' dodging but wasn't entirely sure how to react. She was a bit sore, but she wasn't entirely convinced she wasn't just ... mistaken about her suspicion. Maybe she had just missed. Maybe she did just miss, and that was all there was to it. She hadn't really been paying attention to the way Sans was moving, even if it did look a little odd in hindsight.
