We should probably make sure whoever has them is not using them dangerously. I am also a bit concerned for that girl that disappeared there a while back. I'll keep the lab clean while you check?"

“ It has been quite a while since we last saw Aile. I just hope that poor girl hasn't been infected...  I should definitely go and check these locations out, though. These... 'biometals' contain a lot of power that might endanger lives if they were to fall into the wrong hands. ”

Ciel hesitated a moment before turning to Roll, passing aside her worries for a moment.

“ Thank you for bringing all of this to my attention, Roll. You've been a great help. ...You do have my permission to call me Mom, you know~! ”

Ciel affectionately yet unnecessarily fixed Roll's hair by running a hand through it before leaning in and giving Roll a hug. She had never known her own mother, but she'd had time observing Princess Peach's approach and this just felt... right! She held this embrace for a good few seconds, attempting to teach Roll intimacy with a pleasant demonstration.

“ ...We can talk more about this when I get back. You know I'm always happy to listen and talk about anything that you may be unsure about. ”

Ciel is confirmed for gal pal saving duty!

"Yeah, Ashe definitely showed a good person could cause harm with them... I'll see you when you get back," Roll went to return to work when Ciel added to the conversation. "Oh, um, it's nothing compared to what you have done for me... Thanks, Mom," Roll hesitantly added, not really sounding sure. Dr. Light was a father figure to her, sure, he always was. But he was always known as Dr. Light to her. It was kind of... odd looking to someone as a Mother figure but... She did not mind that either.

"... Sure, I'd like that. I'll see you soon," Roll nodded with a smile before returning to cleaning, allowing Ciel to head off to Neo Arcadia.
