Iris did everything in her power to screw this meeting up. Everything but directly address that she'd caught a human. Luckily Nurse Joy didn't seem to care, or was too oblivious to realize there was anything odd about the way Iris was acting. She was able to succesfully get Yellow healed up at the pokemon center, doing some shuffling at the local PC to make sure she was fully registered before finally departing with an enthusiastic thank you. It was time to retreat to the Magical GIrl's Society so she could properly enjoy her victory and her new found pokemon! ...Y'know, the human one.

Retreating to the sleeping area after saying hi to Raffina and Valorie, Iris promptly hopped into a free little bed that was probably too small to comfortably hold two people unless they were, y'know, exceptionally small and sat up. Producing her love ball, Iris couldn't help but giggle at the heart imagery on the ball as she primed it and released its contents. In a beam of pink light, Yellow would appear at Iris' feet on the bed, practically on top of her. "Rise and shine, Yellow! ...Should I call you Yellie? ...No that sounds like you yell a lot." Iris greeted, gently reaching out to pull Yellow into her lap in an affectionate cuddle. "How're you feeling? I hope Draco wasn't too rough. She's a little slow but she means well, kinda like me!" Iris gleefully explained, not even addressing the whole capturing Yellow thing as if she just expected Yellow to accept it.

Randy followed Iris to the Pokemon Center and back to the Society,  mostly in a state of quiet since, well, he had even less strength than usual to be around girls. The dog followed Iris to the society before stopping at the front door... Yeah, he was not going in there without Yellow at his side... "You go ahead and talk with... your new Pokemon, tell her I took a walk," Randy said as he walked a bit further down the street to hide.

Yellow stretched a bit as she was released from her ball. Man, that nightmare was horrible. Glad it did not actually-.... Iris was above her with that Love Ball. Yeah, was not a dream then. The girl knew there wasn't... intentional bad intent with her reaching out to her but the girl pushed herself back a bit, using her psychic power to ward off Iris's hand a bit... "You're right...  that is like you..." Yellow said, she had a bit of a tear going on there, clearly built up on a lot of stress from her nap. While the Pokemon Center did heal her physical wounds, she still had lots of mental ones and she was not letting them go anymore. Not confronting this caused this misconception. "You don't get it, Iris. I've been afraid of you since the incident in the caves. I wanted to try and overcome it and tell myself you did not mean anything by the kiss but... I... Don't even like Pokemon Battles. If it wasn't necessary to stop Pokemon from getting hurt I would be glad to not battle. The Pokemon getting hurt, the pain they feel and have to overpower as their trainers work together it... Never felt right and I don't like it but if I do nothing Team Rocket will hurt people and Pokemon so I need to fight. I only battled you because I heard Pokemon Battles were a way for trainers to understand each other but... After that happened and me making you think it was a humiliation battle I only made things worst. I don't want to be afraid of you, Iris, I wanted to accept what happened as an accident but..." The girl tried to explain, a bit quickly and defeated in her tone as she looked to the ground, her face a bit red and she was shedding tears and shaking, clearly under quite a bit of traumatic stress after the events and, maybe only a bit less obviously being beaten to near unconsciousness.... Oddly she did not seem to even consider her Pokemon predicament with the whole heart spill but she might need some form of comfort.

Iris seemed a little disappointed by Yellow's resistance.Yet, she fell quiet and listened intently as Yellow explained herself. Oh man... It kinda hurt seeing Yellow cry like that. She wished she wouldn't push her away. This seemed like the perfect time for a hug! Hands on solutions were her specialty! She had to use her mouth words, but how? Eventually, after Yellow finished, Iris spoke up. "...But it wasn't an accident!" Iris innocently corrected.

"...And I did mean something by that kiss." she went on to assert, pouting ever so slightly at the idea that it meant nothing. "I thought I was going to lose you. I tried to check for your pulse but I couldn't find it or I didn't know how... You wouldn't wake up. I was trying to save you! ...Because um--I care about you, and I didn't want to go on without you." Iris softly explained, tapping her fingers together nervously. "I've never even thought about kissing another girl before I met one under the mistletoe recently... I wasn't thinking about it like that. I was just really scared. It wasn't even a real kiss I was just... trying to get you to breath." Iris explained in frustration. It was decidedly not a pleasant memory for her, and she had a hard time seeing it from Yellow's perspective. "Real kisses are a two person thing." she added after a long moment's pause before abruptly reaching back in and wrapping her arms around Yellow's waist, gingerly pulling her onto her l for a rather possessive yet comforting cuddle where she curled around the other girl and held her close.. "...This is a real hug though." she softly whispered to the other, just kinda soothingly running her hand up and down Yellow's back in a comforting manner.

"...Without that battle, would we have ever been able to open up like this?" Iris eventually mused aloud after a long moment's just... asserting her freedom to cuddle this distraught girl. Restraint was not her strong point, but her heart--was probably in the right place. "It's okay if you don't want to fight though. I treat my Pokemon right! Most of them love to fight even more than I do, but if you want to grow closer in a different sort of way... I'd be happy to try!" Iris softly and cheerily offered. "Maybe we could just lay here and talk about our feelings for a while... I'm not really the most in touch with my feminine side, but that just means I need to do some exploring and bring it out!" Iris went on to offer. "Or... we could do whatever you want to do~" Iris hesitantly added after a moment.

Yellow kept her distance for the moment but decided to hear Iris out. It'd just cause a scene if she'd left the room now, especially like this and she kind of wanted to rebuttal Iris's response until the girl mentioned something Yellow has failed to consider... Iris was trying to revive her with CPR because she could not feel Yellow's pulse... Which the girl knew full well she was just asleep and probably had one but did the girl know that? It... did not seem like her to do it for any other reason and it's not like she definitely has medical training in the matter... "I  guess I can be a pretty heavy sleeper..." Yellow's expression softened though her tears were kind of there. She flinched a bit but let her body relaxed though she still looked away. So it was a pretty bad miscommunication this whole time and she has just been taking it the wrong way...

"... Yeah, I guess I can't keep Chuchu from fighting either. She has a really competitive nature..." Yellow let out a bit of an awkward laugh, wiping away a tear. "... I have no doubt you do... Sorry, I guess I overreacted pretty bad..." she relented... Well, if they both agreed, it definitely wasn't a first kiss. That cleared her conscious quite a bit at least. "... A normal talk sounds nice. But first..."  the girl seemed to ponder for a moment. Well, Iris... did catch her fair and square and she understood the situation right now so releasing was not a necessity so might as well embrace it a bit. "You never did finish giving me a nickname you know. If I'm going to be your Pokemon might as well give me that much right?" the girl suggested after a moment, smiling a bit, a tear or two remained but they stopped producing. She definitely stopped shaking as well, most of her emotional outburst subsiding.

"Y-Yeah... You were out cold for a bit there." Iris sheepishly replied. At the mention of a nickname though, she fell silent in thought. After a few moments, she began to gently and carefully brush Yellow's tears away, delicately caressing her cheeks in the process. Her nose brushes against Yellow's cheek, and yet to her credit she never kissed her. It would've been so easy, but she knew Yellow didn't want it. Or at least, she believed she didn't anyway. And how could she blame her? The idea had seemed absurd to her when she was first confronted with it. Maybe it was harder for some people to accept the idea! Or maybe Yellow just hadn't ever answered those questions she'd had to ask herself. Either way, she laid back down and pulled Yellow down with her, transitioning Yellow from her lap to laying on top of her in such a fashion that Yellow's head might lay against her chest if she let it. Still possessively yet comfortingly holding Yellow, Iris seemed to relax a bit herself. "...Mellow~ Cause you're soft, sweet, and mild tempered." Iris playfully replied, grinning slightly at her ... wonderful nickname. It was ind of odd, now that she thought about her. Yellow's attitude was distinctly feminine, and yet she had this overt tomboyish way of presenting herself. Well, sometimes anyway. It made her question if there was something more than just a duality of taste. She decided to refrain from asking for now though. It wasn't the time or place for that.

The girl of Viridian Forest glanced at Iris for a moment at the brush of her cheek. The noise brushing too made her close her eyes for a moment with a bit of change in her expression before it settled down when there was no kiss... Was she a bit disappointed? You'd think she'd have had plenty of kisses since the holidays-... She shouldn't even be considering that after what happened and her relationship with Blue. Now she was starting to have entirely different questions... But they did not need answering right away anyway. "H-hey!" the girl called out at the sudden transition.

The girl pulled atop of Iris, the girl not objecting after the shocked response, just deciding to let Iris keep hold until it began to feel uncomfortable for her. "... Mellow , huh?... Sure, I like it... You can call me Mellow~," the mellow girl replied, a bit too happily. It had a distinctly more feminine feel to it than her actual name which... kind of made her pretty happy with it. She was still recovering from several incidents where her... habits were called out. "... It's kind of funny, I almost feel like you could feel in sync with me as well as I am with my Pokemon..." the girl noted, there was always something... oddly familiar with how Iris's bond with her Pokemon felt.

"That reminds me... Iris, why did you catch me?" the girl asked, trying to tilt her head to look at Iris better. This close she could easily feel emotions, memories too but... She decided to not try and look through Iris's mind as it was unnecessary. "You usually train Dragon Pokemon and I am... more psychic, fairy at best... I doubt it was just to humiliate me back there. Doesn't seem like you would catch someone for that reason. I know Draco gave you those realizations but you aren't seriously considering catching the whole Magical Girl Society and your other friends.... Are you?" the girl started since she was curious and it seemed a good place to start as her eyebrow was raised.

Iris quickly shook her head. "...Honestly, I forgot I was supposed to embarrass you." she admitted with a goofy smile. Easily distracted, this one. "And well--No! Because like... I really want to have a deep and meaningful relationship with you!" Iris explained rather innocently, not recognizing the romantic undertones of her words."And bonds like that take time and effort to build, y'know? I didn't get so close to my pokemon overnight~! Maybe someday I'll want to catch some of them, but if I caught them all now I would probably get overwhelmed trying to make time for them all!" Iris thoughtfully explained. "...I'd like to make sure I'm taking good care of you and my other pokemon first before I think about catching another. I want us to be in perfect sync, just like I am with my other pokemon~!" Iris light-heartedly added. "As for why I caught you..." Iris began, unable to hide a smirk of amusement at the question. " . . . The reason I like dragons so much is because I think they're really cute~!" Iris eagerly gushed like a true girly girl. "And even though you're nothing like a dragon, you're really cute too!" Iris continued. "...Plus, I think I might be a fairy type too." she went on to whisper, as if afraid of being overheard. To demonstrate, she lifted one hand and conjured a pink magical heart on the tip of her finger. It occasionally twisted with a purple color distortion. She then dismissed the heart and resumed affectionately teddy bearing Yellow, letting her use her chest as a pillow. "...Thanks for being my friend and my Pokemon, Mellow. Being close like this is so much nicer when we're both enjoying it~" Iris softly relented in relief. It seemed like she may have been silently anxious about the unspoken rift between them as well.

"H-huh?!" Yellow's face grew bright red at Iris's reveal. She... did not even know for sure if Iris meant it that way but boy did Yellow's mind imagine the romantic overtones. "... Y-yeah, when you put it that way it makes sense.  You can't bond with too many Pokemon at the same time, it lowers a certain amount of time strengthening the others..." The kind of overtones were not lost on Yellow, even if Iris did not mean them at all... Yet, she was alright with that actually. Well, her heart still belonged to Blue... It's not like you can share a bond that close?... Right? She did not fully get humans at times but she kind of hoped Blue did not think less of her right now...

The small girl looked to the love magic... Yeah, now that she looked at it again there was a bit of distortion. Come to think of it, Yellow kind of noticed Iris and her bonds with their Pokemon are oddly similar. "You are not the only one." A voice, an oddly familiar voice jolted Yellow for a second.. That was... odd but she did not see anything... But that sounded like... Well, she'll worry about that later. The girl lowered back into the embrace. "... Yeah, it sure is," Yellow knew that before this point if Iris tried something like this she would freak out like nothing else. However now, it was very comforting "I'm still kind of tired from that battle. You don't mind if I-zzzzz...." the forest girl began before her body seemed to relax against Iris... Yeah, she fell asleep. Being this close however did make her breathing apparent. The Pokemon healed most her damage but she seemed pretty fatigued... she might be asleep for a few hours. No real telling if Iris moving will jolt her back awake but she probably knew better than anyone how deep a sleeper Yellow is when exhausted.

...Nope~! Iris was just going to keep right on teddy bearing Yellow, eventually falling asleep with her in her embrace. She was admittedly a nicer teddy bear than her dragons, and this time since they weren't in the middle of a chaotic fight she knew better than to assume Yellow had gotten hurt while she wasn't looking. She was just gonna sleep cuddled up to Yellow tonight. ...Of course, Blue already knew. She's got a tiny camera hidden in the weave of Yellow's hat~! How she'd react would need to be addressed later.
