"It isn't cramped in there, is it? We're still testing this whole Necrocloaker dimensional shift stuff. Anyways, gang, we're on our way. I've got a blueprint uplinked to our contractor database. Place your pieces, plan it out. Joker, make sure you get that drill to the containers, Ghor, keep it running. Spy, we'll likely need you take out the guards. Quietly. Impersonate them if you have to, we've updated your disguise kit with Guard and Mendoza Gang disguises, but you'll need to act the part. Groose, if things go loud, you're our best bet for breaking whatever stands between us, the loot, and the Van."

Everyone's transceivers given for this mission cut after that message. The bags given for carrying loot and the knowledge of everything was given. Bags of guns and food, stuff the Life Sphere desperately needed. The rendezvous point where the van would make it towards the Mushroom Ruins, namely where the outskirts had lay, and where that makeshift airport of the Mendozas and GENSEC had hunkered down, was a ways away. Everyone was packed into the rather sizable van, some dimensional tech 'borrowed' from the Necrocloaker to fit everyone inside. Before the group was the blueprint of the Airport, and where the likely locations of several key points were.

1). There is a security room controlling the cameras located in one of the re-purposed buildings.
2). There are three port areas, one of them contains the guns and food, it should be opened.
3). There are security patrols in front of and between each building. Concentrated towards the center building.
4). There are cameras located on the southernmost, and easternmost building, the one between the two is dark, but there is security detail there.
5). Thugs are unaccounted for, Mendozas are not present right now, but will arrive any second.

Among these notes were a list of preplanning objects the team could purchase. A numerical value out of fifteen was attached to each.

Mana Font/Ammo Bag - 3 Points (Instantly restores cooldowns of ranged abilities)

As well as several pens, Blue, Red, Green, and Yellow, for any of the team members to plan and draw out their methods of moving through the place or taking out guards. The comms lit back up for a little bit.

"If I may make some suggestions, gang. Take the font and bag as well as a Medic bag if you want to go loud. Buy multiple ECM jammers if you want to ghost this one. If a guard detects you, you're going to have to answer the pager. I don't have a list of updated codec phrases, but you'll need to make it convincing. Spy and Joker will likely need to take out guards. Ghor and Groose can bag carry until things get rough. If you go for the gold, it's likely that you're going to need the extra strength. It's heavy, after all."

The Spy had mixed feelings about his current mission. On one hand, the task of sneaking inside of an enemy base, taking out guards, and stealing resources was child's play to him, as it was something he had done numerous times before. On the other hand, his teammates seemed odd, to say the least. In no particular order, they were a kid with a domino mask, some sort of mechanical humanoid, and a muscular man with possibly the worst hairstyle he had ever seen. Spy wasn't going to start insulting them just yet, though. If they were fearless enough to accept such a mission, The Spy would at least give them some respect. Except for the redhead. The Spy just didn't like him. He was like The Heavy, but with all the narcissism of The Scout, which bothered Spy to no end. 'Whatever,' He thought. 'Let's just get down to business.'

"Alright, do any of you have an actual plan here?" The Spy suddenly said aloud to his teammates. "Personally, I think it would be best if we avoid detection. They've given me my Disguise Kit, with a few modifications, which means I can blend in."

Spy then picked up the red pen, and began writing down some notes.

"We should focus on the security room first and foremost. If we do, the cameras should be no problem for us. I'm not sure if I can take out the guards on my own, however. As the man suggested, you and I should stick together." 

As he spoke the last sentence, he pointed to Joker, as Bain himself noted that the both of them would be best at taking out guards.

"Also, I'll need a Jammer, in case something goes awry. Any suggestions?"

Ghor quietly sat amongst his allies in the trooper van, fiddling at his wrist mounted device to either check on his suit’s current location or to update his schedule. So many organizations to dismantle and pleas of help to fulfill so little time. Speaking of, he should probably get his head in the game. This infiltration operation was a lot less techy than his usual, but this universe seemed to be quite technologically behind from his universe, as noted by his completely organic allies.

Ghor watched and listened to his ally’s observations, nodding along to the man who’s name was literally Spy. One could only wonder what his occupation was. “Avoiding detection would save us a lot of trouble. It’s likely that the security room is a major checkpoint though, it might not be long before someone checks in. If we distract the guards though, I can reprogram the monitors to loop the footage that shows no activity and get out of there before the guards return. That way, we eliminate the threat of the cameras without having to worry about someone noticing the mess.”

With that, the mechanical being grabbed the yellow pen and outlined his route. “With that done, Groose and I can return to loot lugging. My getting inside could be problematic though. Unless someone has a rubber human skin suit in their back pocket, I’m not going to be blending in very well.”

“I suppose anyone with technical knowhow could do the same, in which case, Groose and I could infiltrate the first compound and start grabbing. If not, I could make for a convincing prisoner.”

Joker was sat on his side of the Van, Arms crossed and Phantom Thief outfit on his body already, his Domino Mask hidding his face a little from the public. A Fact he hopefully wouldn't need, As he played about with his Gloves, Adjusting them to tighten them among his hands. Good way to keep finger prints off of whatever you touch, so they cant track you. Regardless, Joker Looked up upon hearing the sound of a Voice, explaining the entire situation to them. Him and the Tall man in the suit would go on Stealth Team, making first contact, while the Big Man and the Machine would play Carry to the actual Loot. Akira was kinda hoping they'd offer to lug the drill around, but Akira was used to carrying the Weight. He was a Leader of his own little Thief group, so this was nothing~



Akira reached for the Red Pen, but Spy seemed to nab it right before he could, Making the teen pout a little under his jacket. Regardless, he smirked. "Seems were Three votes on the stealth route. My personal choice, Though i will miss getting to put on a show~" Akira slyly said, Seeing no need to get a pen of his own to draw his plan, letting Groose take his pick of Green or Blue.



"So, Focus on getting to the security room first so we wont need to worry about the systems, and It'll be just On-foot threats from there...Sounds fine to me. My Moveset grants me some options to Disable targets from a distance, so getting camera's down, that'd help me out plenty." Akira said, Then looking to Spy. "Speaking of which..."



With that, Akira planted his hand on Spy's arm, as a Black And White arrow danced around Spy's arm, to Akira's, Before pooling into a Replication of Spy's Stop Watch, his Invisibility copied from him! Well, Except that Joker's stop watch wasnt gold, but instead a White and Black Checkerboard design, with a Red LED Inside."Noticed you had this. It'll help us both out." He said.

“Well actually-” Groose started but was immediately shut up by the rest of the briefing
“Things get loud, the Groose gets louder! In fact I’ll break the sound bar-” And once again, his reply was cut off by everyone’s transceivers cutting out.
His eyes poured down across the desk, over the map and at the shopping list. He gripped his chin with his fingers and seemed to be pondering pensively on the proper proposition with which to proceed. “…”

“-I can read!” Groose panted with a panicked start when his transceiver suddenly came on and startled him. Man all these newfangled technogizmatics were wigging Groose out. He was an old-fashioned guy, not that he was scared by progress…or overwhelmed…he was just whelmed.
On that note, the tech was the least whelming thing about these missions. Just look at these clowns he had to work with. Some little brat in a keese mask, a beanpole dressed in so much tech, he looks made out of the stuff, and this guy that calls himself Spy. As tall and thin as Stritch, but as Pompous as Cawlrin. Groose liked him, but he seemed like the kind of guy who wouldn’t think you were cool if he thought you liked him, so best pretend you don’t.

“As a matter of fact, I-” He began only to for the third time this post, be cut off by the Spy, who even took the red pen he was reaching for. Aw man the red’s the best color too. Oh well, yellow’s second best-Aw darnit Ghor. Okay, okay he’s taking blue and that’s that!
Groose aggressively swiped the blue pen before Joker could. Blue was a nice color too, wasn’t it? It’s the color of the sky, and kinda the color of Zelda’s Loftwing. He missed Zelda. Focus, Groose! It’s mission time!

“You done?” Groose asked, darting his eyes at each of his team mates, making sure he would not be interrupted this time.
“Well even though loud noises are my specialty, it’s clear we’re going silent bird of prey on this one. Luckily for you, I’m best at that too. What I’m even better at is hauling rupees, so as soon as you geeks are done with your security nerdery me and Gore over here are gonna walk right in like nothing’s going on, snag the loot and walk right out.” He confidently traced a blue line besides Ghor’s yellow.

“Now you’re probably wondering ‘Groose, even with the security disabled, how could you ever make it into the vault so easily?’ I may not be a man of a million faces, but I only need this one.” He pointed at his face. “It’s why I’m the only one here not wearing a mask. I come in with Gore as my prisoner, don’t even need to ask directions to the vault thanks to this map. And on the way out, I hide Gore in one of the sacks so they don’t suspect he’s escaped, and by the time they can figure out what the heck even happened, we’ll be long gone.” Groose then dropped his pen like a mic.

"Alright, everything's getting set up. I've used some of my own money to order a medic bag, and I've marked an external point where loot can be dropped off. This is for our own safety and swiftness, alright? Groose, since you're going with the disguising route as well, I'm leaving you a Mendoza gang uniform at the gate, change into it." Bain ordered from behind his transceiver. "Ghor, you're going to need to shut off non-important systems, play dead of you need to. Groose, pass him off as salvage. Joker, Spy, the drill will be silent, but you'll need to watch for guards. If it jams, and someone hears it, it could be disastrous. It's not exactly a silent machine. The shipping containers are our best bet for loot, but I'm sure the vault in the back would be a good place to hit big time. The gold and food are likely in there."

As the van stopped, and the doors opened, there were a bag and ammo font, as well as Groose's disguise. The hilltop overlooked a sprawling group of men and guards. The Mendozas wore shades, white coats and jeans, the guards were in full security uniforms. The Thermal Drill kit was right there as well, and waiting for Ghor to work on. "That kit can only be applied when the drill is active. Ghor should be hidden by the drill with that kit during its startup." Bain continued to instruct, before finally ending with... "Good luck, gang. I'll meet you back at the Life Sphere. I'll try my best to walk you through while we do this. The blueprint's uploaded to my computer here. I can track you all, too. Don't worry, this also jams GENSEC from using chip identifiers on you."

The metal gates were easily able to be clipped open with the tool kits that the group was given, and over it, there was the airport. A few details should be noted...

1). The Depot/Makeshift Airport is in an L shape, with areas behind all four buildings.
2). The only building open is the center left, the right two and the far left one are closed off, and have access panels on the roof and behind them.
3). There is a dumpster marked for loot. The dumpster is also useful for hiding in, as it's been sterilized, emptied, and scrubbed clean. Characters who hide in the dumpster cannot be spotted by guards unless they pop out or don't close the lid.
4). The notes on entering indicate there are 10 bags of guns and food, and 4 bags of gold.
5). There are ten guards and twelve mendoza watchmen, scattered evenly throughout the airport.
6). The camera room is located behind the open shipping area, and there are no cameras behind the building.

The Spy listened quietly to what each of his teammates had to say. He wasn't exactly humble, but he knew he wouldn't be able to plan the mission all by himself. As such, he stayed quiet, gave everyone the benefit of the doubt, and listened.

"Right. Just don't mention rubber human suits again, and we should be fine." Spy said semi-sarcastically to Ghor. Though it wasn't a very serious comment, Ghor's suggestion of a rubber human suit actually did weird him out.

"What the-?" Spy was stunned when Joker reached over and placed his hand on his arm, before black and white arrows began to appear on Spy's arm, still firmly gripped by the masked kid. He was even more stunned when a similarly colored watch appeared on Joker's arm, its designs similar to his own watch. 'The kid is supernatural. Wonderful.' The Suave Assassin thought.

The Spy couldn't help but cringe when Groose began sharing his thoughts to the group. Spy was absolutely sure whatever the burly man said would be idiotic. However, when he continued speaking, Spy had to admit he made a decent point. Groose could probably hide Ghor well, as long as they cooperated well enough. The Spy still didn't like him very much, though.

Once they got outside, and the gate was opened, The Spy flicked open his Disguise Kit. His body was surrounded by smoke, and when the smoke cleared, Spy no longer looked like his normal, charismatic self. Instead, he had the appearance of one of the guards.

"Keep a low profile, you two. Joker, come with me." Even his voice had changed, becoming deep and rough. The Spy hoped he could avoid detection by disguising, and having Joker trail him while invisible. As for the other two, he held his breath. Hopefully neither of them would make an egregious mistake, though Spy felt that Groose could definitely make a scene without even trying.

With all that out of the way, The Spy began his infiltration, moving towards the camera room through the open shipping area.

Ghor continued to politely listen to what the rest of the team had to say. It seemed that everyone was on the same wavelength, sans Groose who didn’t seem to be all that cognitive of what was going on. He was the team’s muscle, so it’s not like he needed to be sophisticated. That said, if their cover was going to be blown, Ghor would place his odds on either the Joker fellow or Groose. He was a bit of a dark horse in the running though. So long as he could keep the Phazon suppressed, he should be able to keep his cool.

During the discussion though, Joker nudged Ghor, handing him the drill upgrade kit. He had considered purchasing the upgrade kit himself, but he was confident in his ability to keep it running without it, at least confident enough that he wanted to invest in more helpful supplies for dire matters. Ghor quirked his head at the teen’s comment though. “That would be quite presumptuous if it weren’t true” he remarked in good humour “should be useful though.”

While the discussion continued, Ghor grabbed some wire from a nearby spool and hooked it up to the upgrade kit. He slung the apparatus around his shoulder and looked out the door as the van halted. Their contractor made an interesting suggestion for their plan, asking Ghor to play dead for a bit. “Hm, I suppose that’s the superior plan” he noted as he looked to Groose “I’m going to shut down, when you need me, give my cranium a good whomping.” Ghor further illustrated what he meant by aiming his metallic fist at his chrome dome.

Before Spy left though, Ghor tapped on his lower jaw, showcasing the rigidity of his metallic skin. “Shame. I miss those squishy sensations” he stated sarcastically.

As he stepped out of the van, Ghor found some cover nearby to prop himself against while he tended to his business. He dislocated his two lower jaw halves to make his scrapheap guise a bit more convincing and slowly became limp. His eyes lost their glow and his body locked up, making it easy for Groose to snatch him up and throw him over his shoulder. Shouldn’t be too much for him to handle.

Joker chuckled, adjusting his mask up against his temple, as he stood up, exiting the car behind Spy, Smiling as he followed his command. Gotta admit, felt pretty good being able to have someone else take charge for a little bit... Joker nodded. "Alright, Sure the Tin man will be safe while we get the drill set up." Joker would say, lugging the tool behind his back as he nodded behind the spy. Time to make a move!

"Ten Four." Joker would confirm, Moving along with Spy through the open bay. Once camera's were down, the fun could really get started, after all! Joker produced his Checkerboard pocketwatch, and with a flick, A silent Woosh would fade Joker's colors away, leaving an invisible Phantom theif trailing Spy behind!

“…Isn’t a good womping bad for you?” Groose pondered Ghor’s proposal, looking down at his big meaty mits.
As the van pulled up and the doors opened, Groose peeked into the bag and pulled out this disguise.
“So this is what those Mendoza guys wear, huh? I’m not impressed” Groose snorted. “But hey, if it fits, I can make anything look good.” He shrugged, measuring the outfit against his body.
He flinched with urgency as the Spy shrouded himself in smoke and emerged as one of the guards.
“…You…Y-you’re still you right?” Groose gasped, poking at the Spy to test him. “How did you Do that? Man these disguises must work better than I thought!” Groose grinned with a new appreciation as he wisked himself and disguise to the back of the van to change. This changing spot proved less than ideal as there wasn’t very much wriggle room for the 6-foot hunk of man. But to give up this soon was not in Groose’s game plan. One discovery of how cold the back windows are later, Groose re-emerged looking like a completely different guy. He even combed down is pompadour. Don’t say he never made heavy sacrifices for the cause.
“Alright Gore, it’s showtime. Let’s do this.” Groose summoned Ghon with a crack of his knuckles. “...Gore” looked around to spy Ghon’s motionless shell against the wall. “Oh yeah.” He plucked Ghon up and swung him over his shoulder. He was heavier than he looked, but not too heavy. The only hard part in lifting him was not flexing himself out of his disguise.
“Now then, like I was saying…” He coughed, changing his vocal pitch and accent in the process. “It’s showtime~.”

A devilishly handsome, yet otherwise completely ordinary run of the mill strapping stud of a Mendoza gangmember strutted out into the open with salvage metal over his shoulder.
“Noon, doods.” The Mendoza casually greeted the guards as he made his way to the mid left building. “Check it out. I scored us some seriously sweet salvage.” He showed off the salvage over his shoulder. “Where do ya want it?”

Seemed like the vault area was right across. Easily covered by the guards and cameras. Whatever was in there, it was important, perhaps even moreso than the food and guns laying about, perhaps the gold? "You're late. Again. Here's your card, get into the door and stop joking around. Word has it PAYDAY's back up, and we can't have that tying into the higher ups' plans. Remember, they made us." The nameless guard handed Spy a Keycard, narrowing a suspicious glare at him.

Groose's entrance shortly thereafter got one of the Mendoza guards hollaring and cheering. "Eyy, hombre! You're one of our new bloods, man. Looks like you got a Life Sphere jerk, man. Put 'im in the vault. C'mon with me, man." The fair skinned man stood, waving Groose on. "Hector told me himself that you were a good recruit, man. Found you through a shadowy dealer, man. Things been turnin' up since he switched sides man." The guard kept waving him on, Bain muttered under his breath on the other end... "Hector's with Mendoza..?"

Spy, moving towards where he hoped he would be able to find the camera room and/or vault, was hoping he could avoid drawing suspicion to himself. As far as he was aware, he was just a nameless guard, who would need to blend in and not draw the attention of anyone. As it turned out, he was wrong about being nameless, as he suddenly heard someone calling to him by name. Not his own name, but a name. Spy knew if he didn't correctly act the part, he would jeopardize the mission. Still though, Spy knew he could. He had done this sort of thing before after all.

The Spy was able to steel himself fairly easily, and as soon as he turned his face to the guard, his expression was blank, similarly to what you would expect from a stoic, obedient soldier. When the guard offered him a Keycard, the mercenary gave only a passing glance before accepting it.

"Thank you, sir. I'll enter the vault right away." Spy said, making sure not to seem too pleased by the Keycard that was practically gifted to him. Without hesitation, he walked to the door to the vault, opened it with the Keycard, and waited for a couple seconds, before looking behind him and saying something else.

"I'm heading in now. Don't worry, I'll be sure to close the door behind me." Spy said this in a dry, sarcastic way, but made sure to emphasize the part about closing the door, to make it clear that, if it wasn't obvious, Joker will need to enter before he closed the door. He even waited a few seconds longer before closing the door behind him. Hopefully the guard would dismiss it as only an awkward interaction.

“Good recruit? Homey I’m the Best recruit. Just wait till you see me do.” Groose smiled charismatically, as if waiting for a star to twinkle in his gangstalicious teeth.
