"...." Shaymin walked this time up the mountain, not wanting to crash at this altitude. The mountain loomed ever higher but they had to reach the top. She needed answers... Maybe to more than just the cure. Who was Frost and why did he and Chill keep getting in their way. She had no doubt he'd come back... He said as much when they left the Distortion World...

"... This is where we part ways. I got you away from Giratina, that is all I desired to do. I'm going to find Chill," the Glaceon stated firmly before walking off. He was always getting in her way until now when he... saved their life. "... Wait! Why don't you come back with me? Like for ice cream or something? You can tell me why you've been treating me so strangely!" the hedgehog tried to get out of the frozen fox. "... Heh. Sorry, but I'll pass. We are still enemies. We will meet again soon for one last fight. In a place far too familiar," he stated before a hailstorm came in and he vanished from view.

In a place far too familiar... This place did have a very familiar feel... This place looks like where she lost.... him and her. No, there is no way. She has to stop thinking back on it. That was in the past. Now she has to go find out about that cure. "You're Shaymin, right?" a girl startled Land as she turned around to see... that's a funny Pokemon. Reminded her of Sonic... Oh yeah, now she remembers. "Tikal, right? Glad you could make it. It's getting cold," Land stated. While there was already snow this high up the mountain there was something colder in the air. That was usually a sure sign Frost was nearby. He always like a living Air Conditioner.

Tikal gave a nod to the Grassy hedgehog. "Where's your Chaos friend?" Land inquired. "Oh, he doesn't like the cold so he's staying in the back. So, shall we wait for the others?" she answered as the girl sat in a meditative position. "... Yeah, I think this is a good spot, can't miss it on the way," Land agreed before looking up. It's not too far but it's quiet... Frost probably made sure there will be no interference for the 'final battle'.

"... Land, this will all reach it's conclusion soon. I'm sorry, but even if this is our final fight, things are only beginning... I tried to stop you but things are too far now," a Glaceon stood on a higher cliff overlooking, adorned in a purple scarf before he turned around and left the scene be for now.

The slow crunching of footsteps into the light snow traveled far back. Zeraora hadn't been this far out before, and the cold wasn't helping her at all. Her fur at least could stave off some cold. With that in mind, and a scarf borrowed from some more generous denizens back in the Life Sphere, Zeraora made her way across the hostile terrain, worn and tired from the arduous climbing it took to make it here. Her ears stung, and the hazy mist of snow in her eyes hadn't helped at all. Of course, the voices ahead only drew the attentive electric type's focus further inward.

Her spine chilled at the voice of Land. She was here?! The Zeraora dragged her feet a little bit, finally making it to the current point of these heroes, ready to undertake whatever she needed to in order to help Shaymin find the answers she sought. After all, Zera had a few questions of her own that needed to be sated, and this would all come due some day. Hopefully. "Sh-Shaymin..?" She asked, approaching the two and huddling herself up a little bit, watching them attentively. "I'm ready when you are. L-Let's wait for the other guy before we get moving. Best not to test our luck right now."

The Pokemon Trainer known as Landon had been hiking up the mountain for some time. He sincerely wished he could fly his Crobat up the mountain, but said Pokemon did not know how to carry its trainer while flying. This was something that Landon hoped he could remedy in the future, but for now he simply had to get up the mountain by foot. He was tired, not to mention cold. Even with his coat on, he still felt uncomfortably chilly from head to toe. In spite of this, he continued upwards, determined to meet up with the one who had created the mission.

At some point, where the surroundings were covered in a layer of snow, he finally met the Pokemon he was looking for: Shaymin, the mythical Grass-type. Landon didn't know much about Shaymin in particular, only that it was a Grass-type Pokemon known for dissolving toxins in the air. Though he didn't know much about this Pokemon in particular, this wouldn't stop him from helping out. 

"Hey there, Shaymin. My name is Landon. I came here to help with the mission."

After making his presence known to The Gratitude Pokemon, he realized that someone else was already there alongside her. It appeared to be a humanoid hedgehog, similar to that of Sonic. Landon didn't know who she was, but figured being cordial was the optimal thing to do.

"Oh, hi Zera, glad you could make it," Land said. As much as she hated the cold... She was getting oddly used to it. It might be helping that her Frost Vine Flower allows her to absorb cold around her. "So you're Zera? Nice to meet you. I could provide you with some heat from Fire Spirits if you want to stay warm," Tikal offered.... Huh, so that was why the Echidna was not freezing. Then Landon came in to help assist them. The man looked like a trainer which.. made Land give a concerned look before shaking her head. "Nice to meet you, Landon. It seems we are all here. We should get moving as soon as possible," Land insisted as she started to waddle onward.

"I'm Tikal, a member of the... Echidna Tribe. I can provide you with the Fire Spirit's Blessing too if you need to warm up," the girl offered. Shaymin knew that Frost would just blast them with cold anyway. Look out. "Huh? Woah!" Land heard a voice in her head warn her before she jumped back as an ice beam penetrated the snow and the area started to be covered with a heavy hail. "He's here..." Land stated as she stood her ground. "Just as swift as ever. We'll see how far you have come," Frost Evermore the Glaceon stated as he walked onto the cliffside battlefield with a ghostly Froslass next to him. Them both seeming experienced with human tongue.

Tikal gave a sigh as it seemed a fight was unavoidable. He seemed intent on ending this with violence, she could tell from the area getting colder and that cold look in his eyes. She got into a stance to prepare calling the spirits. "Hold nothing back, because this time we are using our full power," Chill said as she floated to Frost's side. It was time to end this grudge match once and for all.

"Wait a minute, What?"

Landon's normally stoic expression faltered and was replaced with a look of surprise and slight embarrassment. He had somehow not realized that somebody else had already arrived. After a bit of thought, Landon decided to act as if he knew they were there the entire time. He had to admit, though, that he knew next to nothing of Zeraora. Most of his Pokemon knowledge related to more common species, and thus he had little knowledge of most mythical Pokemon such as Zeraora. 

"Nice to meet you, Tikal. I will admit I could use some warming up."

Landon was unable to talk to his teammates for much longer, however. Soon after exchanging greetings, Frost the Glaceon and Chill the Froslass appeared, causing the surrounding area to become even colder.

"It seems like we won't be able to avoid fighting them." Landon said, before removing a Pokeball from his right coat-pocket.

"Go! Houndoom!" 

With that, The Dark Pokemon, otherwise known as Houndoom, appeared on the battlefield. Upon appearing, it let out a low, aggressive growl, signifying its willingness to fight.

"Houndoom! Use Flamethrower on Froslass!"

Houndoom did not hesitate, and quickly released a torrent of flames, aimed at the Ice/Ghost type.

Just after it had finished its Flamethrower attack, Houndoom was instructed to attack again. Charging at its opponent, The Dark Pokemon began gathering electricity in its mouth, before delivering a hard bite onto Chill. Landon would allow the Froslass no breathing room.

Zeraora would have responded to Tikal, or how Landon had ignored her presence for the most part, but for the time being, there were bigger fish to fry. Or in this case, icedogs and iceghosts. Her sudden drooping of features and expression showed clear that she was a little unwilling to fight these two, after the things she'd heard, but it was obvious there was no way out. Steeling herself a bit more, and taking a long, dragging sigh, Zeraora extended her claws, and tucked low. "It comes to this, then. No way out, no mercy." She was going to hold back this fight, try to reason with these two at the end, maybe if they trophified, bring them back to the Life Sphere... They were not deserving of death. No one truly was.

Zeraora started the fight by charging herself up, using what little static remained in the area around her with how fast the flakes of snow were moving. Static bounced between the group of teammates and Zeraora. Static clinging to them would fly off of their bodies, and into her fur. She was polarizing her own body, building up an intense static presence. Lightning arced into her body, and out of her palm at once.

"RrrAAAKURAIII!" She called out as the bolt left her body, and hands, from that almost hadouken throwing stance. The blast knocked her back a little bit, blowing out a clear path as the terrifying blast of energy surged right at the Froslass, leaving a decimating trail of ruin as it surged right at the pokemon in an attempt to soften her up. Zeraora coughed a little, feeling herself drained of static a little more than normal out here. She needed to help finish this fight and fast.

"Fire Spirits, grant us warmth," Tikal said as a warm feeling would pass through everyone to keep them warmed up, the spirits doing a surprising job at counteracting Frost's power. On the other side, the flames scorched the frost girl but she managed to sweep away from both of the electrical attacks as she channeled an Ominous Wind that Frost enhanced with a frigid wind of his own. Shaymin knew this tag team attack and focused as she went into her Storm form with a petal hood and a yellow grassy hide. Now, she was ready to build up Storm Charges to take this cold away. She could only defend one though... So she flew over to Zera and infront of her with a Golden Aura to absorb the attack and turn it into a Storm Charge.

With Tikal's Aide, Storm was able to both tank the wind and absorb it into energy so she can cast a weather later. Tikal took the team move full on and breathed out as a warm light revitalized her. Fortunately she did not let the statuses get to her. Frost then fired an Ice Beam at Storm Forme Shaymin to avoid her gaining more charges while Frost fired a Shadow Ball at the Houndoom.

Storm managed to counteract the Ice Beam with a Thunderbolt and tried to overpower the beam completely.

Both Landon and his Houndoom were able to avoid the blast of chilled wind by dodging. Landon wasn't the best at dodging by any means, but since he was further away from the fighting, he had an easier time avoiding the attack. He still had to practically leap out of the way, and once he was upright again, he saw Chill targeting his Houndoom with another attack.

"Dodge it!"

The ever-obedient Houndoom did just that, leaping away from where the Shadow Ball would strike. 

"Now use Smokescreen!"

With that, Houndoom took in a deep breath, before releasing a sizable amount of black smoke from its mouth, temporarily obscuring the area where Frost and Chill both were.

The Smoke-Spewing Canine Pokemon was becoming frustrated, as it wasn't having much luck with its breath attacks. Despite this frustration, it's new orders gave it a bit of hope. Houndoom's tail became metallic, and was swung at an curved angle in the Froslass' direction.

"No way outta this. Alright. Let's DO THIS!". The electric anger-cat decided that it was time to get up close and personal, in order to rip these two apart where they stood. She knew who these two were, and why they stood against Shaymin, but... She had to fight, she had to keep this going. It was either them or Shaymin, them or her. So it was them. She wasn't going to let these two ice-mons break apart a friendship over pity.

"Kaminari Kenkotsu!" she shouted, winding up her fist from low as she charged in towards the Froslass, letting the leftover static from her attack cling to her fist as she ran in, trying to deliver a mean straight right to the face of the Ghost/Ice type. With that, she continued her assault with a back handspring and a flying claw attack, swinging her left foot out in an almost break-dance style attack, slashing them to the spooky beast.

The Smokescreen was rather weak, being blown away effortlessly by a cold wind to counteract it. The ghost then blew away the smog as well, before dodging to the side of the Iron Tail, however she dodged right into Zera's Punches. Frost kind of watched and winced at that and the slash connecting... No, he couldn't let her die again.... Two punches of golden energy from Tikal made him grow a frown and he fell back from the force of the Earthquake by Tikal, the Earth not punishing it for it was the Spirit's power. ".........." Frost closed his eyes as Frost prepared a counter, breathing heavily... They were focusing so much on her and it was his fault, it's always is his fault she gets hurt like this...

As long as you can survive to it's end, I'll call this battle off. Ready? Blizzard!" the Glaceon declared as a sudden snowstorm started, blinding the area in a deep white fog as his fur gleamed and he disappeared from sight, blending in with his snowy surroundings.

Tikal shivered in the cold, taking quite a bit of damage, turning into a pink ball of light as a watery monster rose to take her place, seeming to not freeze in the cold. "The cold is a bitter thing when you think about it. Causing people to adapt or die if they are not prepared or can't. What about those that have to witness that while the other can't? It is not fun. Being forgotten by those you loved and lost. Still, that is the way life is. The cold is just a cruel judge of it. Time to tell someone that forgot all they missed," a constantly moving voice said in the snowstorm, constantly moving to make tracking harder before a stray ice beam fired at the Houndoom and then another at Zera.

Things were going poorly before, but it seemed as though it was simply bad luck, and that things would become a bit easier on their next attempt. However, when a large snowstorm appeared, causing the battlefield to become foggy and almost unbearably cold, Landon began to think that that wouldn't be the case after all. It was even colder than when he had first climbed up the mountain, and he could barely see his Houndoom. Houndoom had just as hard a time assessing its surroundings. It was just a cold white fog in every direction. Speaking of cold, it was certainly becoming unpleasant. Even as a fire type, the flame-spewing canine could feel its body becoming rather numb. All in all, an unpleasant experience.

Houndoom noticed, just in time, that its attacker decided to fire off an ice beam in its direction. All it took was a simple side-step to avoid it. 

"Houndoom, keep your eyes open! If we can spot the Glaceon, we might be able to attack back!"

Houndoom was able to hear its master's yelling, despite the raging snowstorm. It took this advice to heart and began to examine its surroundings.
