The hateful glow of the comet was shrouded behind the trees, the farmstead ahead was only barely visible from the thicket and the decrepit ruins therein. One could hear the groaning of a thousand bodies behind the brief weald, that small patch of dead trees, turned blue by the roots which sipped the unearthly power within the very ground. They were alive with deadly anger, something... evil. It was as if this very land was alive with the Comet's will, and whatever was beyond these old gates were ready and waiting for the encroaching team to approach. Perhaps those brave souls would be emboldened by this presence, or terrified.

Whatever the case was, the stage is set, and the people who signed their names to this suicide mission wouldn't be wise to abandon now, nor would they be foolish to step to the plate, in search of those shards to embolden their bodies and steel their tools of war, whatever they are.

	“I just can’t wait for anything!” Pit cheered as he jumped out of the marble doors and into the sky. “What’s up, Lady Palutena?” “A Lot is up Pit! Haven’t you heard the news?” Palutena asked with a decidedly much more distressed tone. “I sure have! My Dash Attack’s gonna be good again!” Pit replied in dissonant excitement. “What are you talking about? Wait—are you still watching E3 footage?” Palutena asked exasperatedly. “How can I not? There’s so much good stuff to see! Interviews, reactions, Game Play Footage~!” Pit swooned with delight. “Besides, what else is doing on?”
	“Pit a comet just crashed into Li.” Palutena revealed deadpan. “A Comet What?” Pit gasped, the gravity of the situation finally hitting him. “So glad you could join us Pit.” Palutena smile sarcastically. “Don’t get me wrong, I’m as excited for the new game as you are, but we’ve got an emergency on our hands that cannot wait until December!” “Right! Yes! Of Course! sorry.” Pit stood, rather floated at attention, now embarrassed at his misplaced excitement. “S-so where did it crash?” “Onto a mill in Harvest Acres. Just outside of the Light Sphere.” Palutena began to brief much to Pit’s horrified gasp. “The mill has been decimated. And if that weren’t bad enough, this is no ordinary meteor impact: The surrounding landscape has been crystalized and the farmhands, Toads and other citizens in the area have reportedly been turned into shambling stone husks.”
	“This sounds familiar…” Pit broke over his shaking voice to go into detective mode. “Is it Medusa?” “It doesn’t seem likely. I’m still looking into it as we speak. I’m not sure who’s responsible for this.” Palutena shook her head. “But I imagine you understand why we must intervene?” “Is it Space Pirates? Or the Aurum? Or Tatanga? I mean if Daisy could get onto the roster I don’t see why-Oh No! Don’t tell me it’s Ridley!”
	“Pit! Focus! We’re almost at the crash site.” Palutena shook him out of his delusions once again. “Let’s gather some facts before we conjure any theories.” “Right.” Pit sheepishly nodded again as the sight of the crystalized country side came into view. “Yikes…” Suddenly the weight of the situation Really sank onto Pit. “So…where are we dropping?” He asked with a nervous hiccup. “Down there.” Palutena steered him to the gates of the property. “We’ll wait here for the backup I’ve reached out for.” “Back up…?”

It was finally time. The end of all was upon Li, and Artorias knew well that this world was going to crumble without a warrior who knew how to fight these Eldritch beings. Pit claimed to have knowledge on the matter, but it was left to be truly seen. For now, Artorias was making leaps and strides towards the area, leaping past onlooking civilians and toad security blockades towards the beginning of the Comet Site. He was informed by Palutena to follow Pit close, and to ensure he'd live beyond this ill-fated crisis. Finally, he could see his friend, and brother in arms, in the distance, taking a final leap...

"HWROAAAH!"

The sailing blue blur overhead landed with a mighty slam, before Pit, once he landed, was his ally, his friend, comrade - Artorias. He turned slowly, gazing at Pit's arrival with that looming, hollow hood, the blackness shrouding his face making him unable to be seen again. Slowly, Artorias rose from his kneeling position just a bit to readjust, again on one knee, comfortably in front of his friend. Not many could tell, but he was smiling under that blackened veil, glad to see Pit.

"There you are. I hope our sanctuary near the farmstead is unharmed. Memories should be left untouched. Lady Palutena, I could hear your echoes from above. I'm glad that your influence weighs stronger than the darkness that creeps in my veins."

The knight looked on, awaiting the rest of the team to arrive, clutching his weapon tight in his fist, knuckles flaking off the black, abyssal residue from his body. He needed to let this anger out, and free his mind from the Abyss.

"I... actually really missed you, Pit. I missed our Lady Palutena's voice greatly as well. May she guide us well through this arduous journey. Long may the sun shine, and long may Lady Palutena live."

Stoic, emotional to his friends, and well spoken. Despite the rage and abyssal residue Pit could likely see, Artorias was otherwise in very good spirits. Perhaps being around such a friend invigorated the old soul.

The one thing neither of them would have expected to notice was the fact that there was a presence that seemed to have followed them in the form of a skeletal figure in a cloak, the cloak obscuring his ghastly appearance beyond what might be considered the face of pure chaos in undeath. The only thing that the two would see through the thick obscuring darkness of the hood were two beady red dots, and the air it presented was one that made this Phantasm far more than a sinister for on the battleground.

"This place... It reminds me of Wallachia in Transylvania, though with no Belmonts. However; I will fullfil my duty and cull these tainted souls from their eartly husks for judgement." the entity said to itself, taking notice of where he was and spotting two of his three compatriots in the cleansing of this hellhole.

On one hand was artorias, a knight he knew nothing of, but acknowledged as someone to avoid if he were to fight him. But then his eyes shifted to Pit, and he simply waited, if Pit saw the Grim Reaper and attempted to attack, the annoying Melody caused by the Reapers spotting him would not be heard; it would be Either Evil's Symphonic Poem, Poison Mind, ao a combination of both of them.

Phosphora flew over the farmlands of Harvest Acres, or at least what was left of them. The Comet had really done a number on this place. If it hadn't him a farm, Phosphora would have suspected one of Viridi's Reset Bombs, but this looked different. More unnatural. Hoping to see the affects for herself, Phosphora  landed near the gates of the mill, where she ran into a....pleasant surprise.


"Somebody call for backup?" Phosphora called out as she saw a familiar angel standing at the gates. "Hello again, Pit"  The angel had some very unusual company, now that she thought about it. She hadn't pegged Pit as the dark type. "Ehehe, if I didn't know any better, I would have mistaken you for your goth persona. You're certainly with the right company." Phosphora said with a giggle, glancing at Artorias and Death.
"And Palutena too. So nice to here you're voice again....ma'am." Couldn't hold that back for a minute, could you, Phosphora?

Once the group had introduced themselves to there allies or said hello to there old friends, they would begin there trek into the farmland and perhaps face the comet, that is, if the group make it that far through strength and willpower. As they entered the farm, the painful moans from all around them began to get louder, eventually, they would begin to hear crying, whimpering...And voices that if they listen to it closely, would begin to call out to them.

"Help us..."

"Turn back..."

"You'll die..."

From afar the sky began to change into a strange light done by the comet. The light began to affect the area that the group were in.

The sky began to change into a green colour, almost like the kind of colour people shoot out of there mouths when they vomit. Despite this, the party don't seem to be affected by anything that would change there status should an enemy try and hit them or lower there appearances, they also don't seem to be sick simply by looking at the sky, whatever effect the comet was doing, it seems to be on the group's side.

At least, for now.

As the group kept walking, they voices ceased, being replaced by a painful scream of someone, which to some of the group members, sounded awfully lot like a Toad's screams. Walking down the path some more they would find the Toad who was bloody and had bite marks all around them.

I don't know where he got them, but maybe the people that are around The Toad have something to say?

The Farmhands and the foreman gathered around the screaming Toad, who was in pain following being attacked by the four ghoulish figures. The farmhands bodies were rotting and there clothes were badly damaged, exposing bits of there decaying chest with blueish muscles and twisted guts. The neck which was ready to break and detach from there heads, both of there jaws have fallen off due to the effects of the light generation, the scarecrow also looked badly damaged.

It's noose has turned a dark shade of brown and it's darkened clothes are almost ripped to pieces, exposing shards of the comet and finally, most of the Foreman's body is almost in pieces, with only it's head remaining in place. Even then, the head has shown signs of cracks here and there.

"Please...Let me go...I just came on a walk." The Toad tearfully begged, they didn't listen, they couldn't listen, instead they all kneeled down and bit into the screaming Toad one last time. His screaming suddenly stopping, and once they finished, the four monsters and the Scarecrow turned towards the group...With bit's of blood dripping from there mouths.

The enemies soon began there attacks on the group!

The three Farmhands were the first to make there moves, they crawled towards Artorias, Phosphora and Death, intending to strike the trio with there plower and leave a mark on them. The three had determined that they seem to be the most threatening for the group and so aimed to take them out first...And save Pit for last.

Meanwhile, once they were done, the Foreman began his moves. He floated over to two of the Farmhands and whipped them a few times, almost smiling in the process as he watched two of his minions move in pain over there allies treatment of them, but after that, they felt stronger then before.

(The Foreman has given Farmhand A and B a 5% buff in regards to damage!)

Finally the Scarecrow, realising that Pit has no enemies to fight, sought to change that, by trying to stun the boy so the Farmhands can target him in the next turn.

However the Scarecrow appears to be weak during this moment in time, which means that the angel boy will most likely gain the upper hand in the upcoming turn.

	“Uh oh. Looks like the party’s starting without them.” Pit gulped as he drew his bow in the direction of the approaching leaping sounds. It only a took a few more leaps for him to realize something. “…Wait…I know that sound… It’s-” He gasped as Artorias landed before him with a mighty slam. “Artorias! What’s up buddy?” Pit cheered, lowering his weapon. “Aren’t you a flight for sore wings~?” “I figured it was about time I take my new Champion of a spin.” Palutena smiled from the heavens. “Looks like the Blessed Headpiece has three full bars.” “I missed you too! I can’t believe this is our first mission together!” Pit bounced up and down like an excited little boy. “This is gonna be so much fun!”
	“Now Pit, remember what I said.” Palutena cautious reminded him. “Work and fun don’t mix unless you’re a clown?” Pit recited, lamely quitting his bounce. “But does that apply if you’re a vid-? Artorias look out!” His attention shot toward something coming up behind Artorias. “The Reapers must’ve gotten a redesign!” Pit got between Artorias and Death, drawing an arrow at the robed skeleton once again. “…Actually Pit…” Palutena interjected to correct him. “This is Death from the Castlevania series. I summoned him to help us too.” “...oh...…Li is weird.” Pit sighed after taking an awkward pause to make sense of this. “Yes, yes it is. But I did call in one more ally.” Palutea giggled in agreement. “Perhaps you’ll appreciate someone familiar~.” “Someone familiar? Who?” Pit asked eager and curious if it was to be another friend he made in his time on this site.
	“Oh boy…” Pit sighed wistfully with a facepalm upon realizing who it was. It was her. “Hello again… Phosphora…” Pit greeted between pants. Might as well keep this hand on my face, I don’t know if I’m turning red behind it. “Speaking of Pittoo, why are you here instead of him?” Pit asked, pouting in her opposite direction. “You never struck me as the ‘helpful’ type.” “Now now Pit, don’t be rude. Phosphora’s graciously put our past in the past to assist-” Palutena began before it hit her what Phosphora just called her. “Uh oh.” Pit flinched knowing things were gonna go south real fast. “Now. Is. Not. The. Time, Phosphora!” Palutena stated with an audibly restrained voice, punctuated with a rumble of thunder from the sky. Taking a deep calming breath, that could be felt as a light breeze by our terrestrials, the clouds parted and Palutena lit a path toward the farm for our four ‘heroes’ to follow.
	As they stepped onto the farmland, the moans, crying and whimpering for help struck Pit’s core. This was terrible, but it only motivated Pit to march ahead faster. Pit nearly vomited at the sight of the bloodied Toad. “Hey! Y-you! All of you get away from him!” Pit yelled at the Farmhands and the Foreman to leave the Toad alone. Even firing warning shots. What happened left Pit petrified, unable to even properly line up a shot. He lost the breath he was going to shout ‘You’re all gonna pay for that!’ with. (DP|Tgrg2p_1d20 Pit's Constitution against Haunting Revelation.) Ironically the Scarecrow’s attempt to stun Pit only woke him out of his shock, And he came barrelling at the Scarecrow with his Uppderdash Arm. (p_1d20+2 Pit's Uppderdash Arm @ Scarecrow. Does 20% Damage) Knocking the Scarecrow out of the way, Pit knelt down urgently to inspect the bitten Toad.

"Regardless of their intentions beyond assistance, Pit, we must take their aid. More help against the Dark means more of us to come out of this occurrence alive."

Artorias insisted, before their trek began. He kept towards the front, shepherding his team and being their bulwark for this instance. His thoughts, however, were of fear. Not for his own life, but for their's. What if the dark crept and took his very humanity from him? What if he was robbed of the one thing he held so dear? Artorias shook the thoughts when they reached the first area. These beasts were cannibalized by the Comet! Lowering himself down, Artorias placed his heavy sword upon his shoulder, gripping the blade with fervor unlike the world has ever seen, one could swear the gauntlet on his hand was groaning from the pressure he exerted upon it.

"MMHRRRGH!"

He let off a long, angry groaning shout that bellowed into the maddening depths and reverbing back as he charged into combat. Artorias was quickly losing himself in his mind, and soul, to combat. He was focused on two things. Defending Pit, Phosphora, and Death, and annihilating the enemies here. The first farmhands to charge in were husks, like hollows to him. Artorias felt a moral obligation to destroy them with extreme impunity.

Artorias bounded upward, landing behind the farmhand's lazy, zombie-like shuffling attack, and placed himself in the way of the Farmhand itself, the other two, and now the Scarecrow, thanks to Pit's repositioning.

"Rrgh..! P-Pit..! Duck!"

Artorias wound himself up, bringing his blade high into the air before spinning outward, slashing at all four enemies, aside from the foreman, in a wild attempt to deal some crowd damage to the enemy group.

After nearly throwing his blade, Artorias bounded around the other side attempting to ambush the Foreman, his weapon held low like a spear, charging in with incredible speed, attempting to bowl the poor soul over!

After the mighty attack, Artorias knew he was left in the open, but knew even more that this was crucial, trying to displace enemies, instead of dealing raw damage. If he could space them out and keep them in the action, there was no telling how out of place their strategy, or lack thereof, would be. Finally, Artorias did the unthinkable, and followed his strike with a savage leap again, now aiming his blade down towards the Scarecrow this time!

"HYAAAH!"

Palutena and Pit could likely sense it, perhaps even Death and Phosphora. Artorias had taken whatever baleful presence lurking in his veins and unleashed it upon the comet's thralls. They were safe from his wrath, but these husks were all in the very line of danger that existed on the edge of Artorias's blade. Perhaps even every inch, given it's sheer weight. The slams and jumps left the loamy, dusty ground cracked, and impacted by his weight. The brittle earth had been torn apart by his movements, revealing the filled furrows of earth, blood of a blue color trailing like irrigated trails of water...

"The Reapers you have faced are but mere aspects of my essence in your realm, after all it is but a Reapers job to harvest souls. And I have you to thank personally for putting that pompous jerk Hades in his place, meaning I can restore the well of souls to it's proper function of having those souls reincarnate into proper humanoid forms; but knowing him, he'll be back to mess it up again..." Death said with a respectable nod to Pit. He did not remove the hood of his cloak even when Phosphora arrived and thought nothing of it, getting a mild chuckle from the conversation. "Even I don't dare talk of a deities age when on a job like this. I should know as I'm a literal immortal; a timeless concept to be more precise. However, the pleasure of meeting the esteemed goddess of light is just as well planned, as I have a quota of souls to harvest and these Eldritch Monsters might as well be those who are my latest prey." Death added, taking note of the comet corrupted beings, unfortunately for the Toad that was there that the creatures killed, Death had become slightly angered by the bestiality of these things and materialized his Scythe from out of thin air and brought it to bare.

The Grim Reaper noticed that one of them had decided to target him, and had prepared for just such an attempt.

"I hate to say this, but in the name of my master, I shall feast on your souls this night!" Death said as he surged forward, his cloak flying off to reveal his skeletal figure, and without warning, struck with the force of a rampaging Vaal Hazak going to town against an Odogaron!

Death then turned his attention to the farmhand who attacked him, and gave a chuckle as he blasted the monster with an icy cold sphere.

Death then ended the combo chain with a Slash of his Scythe on the farmhand who attacked Phosphora.

"Ehehehehehe!" Phosphora giggled as she watched Palutena's reaction. "Ah, Palutena, you're as easy to trigger as Pit is. No wonder you like doing it to him so much. But to answer your question, Pit, Dark Pit has been...a bit of a shut in for a while. Something about an invader stealing something of his. I don't know all the details, Mr. Confidentiality  didn't give me details. So I decided to come along instead!" Phosphora explained smiling brightly, before it disappeared just as fast when she witnessed the Toad getting bitten to death

Phosphora stood speechless at what she had just seen, for once unable to say anything. What kind of place was this? What had she gotten herself into? Questions that would have to be answered later, since Phosphora we interrupted but one of the farmhands coming right at her!

WPW9U72|p_1d20(The Foreman tries it's best to dodge the daring charge from Artorias the knight, and it did, making the foreman safe from the knight for this circle. At least, that is to say that the knight's allies won't strike yet.)

p_1d15(Finally, the first farmhand, angered that Phosphera had managed to dodge his plow, was met by a thunder blast in return, which he couldn't dodge.)

The first cycle against this creepy fight with the five mutated beings had come to an end and as a result of there group's fighting the Scarecrow has been torn apart thanks to the likely efforts of Pit and Artorias. It didn't even stand a chance before it could even attack the group, as did the second farmhand, who after it was attacked started to collapse.

It's arms were the first pieces of it's body to break off from there shoulders and crumble into flesh and muscle. Soon it's legs crippled it and as the farmhand realised it's fate, let out a sharp scream for everyone in the area to hear. Knowing it was going to die, a single bloody tear moved from it's cheeks as the last of the farmhand's body crumbled into a puddle like substance that it's best advised not to drink.

After the passing of the Scarecrow and the second farmhand, the group could hear two somber voices that were quick, but they sounded innocent.

"Now i'm free..."

"Thank you for giving us your mercy."


After the defeat of two enemies, the group can feel something under them, moving as if it was about to reveal itself to them at any second.

And what happened next was...

Two giant crystals grew out of the ground from behind the group, each glowing a sickly shade of green towards it. It appears to have goo like substance all over it and the goo itself resembled acid, either way it was best for the group to get rid of these giant crystals as soon as possible. I say about three minutes (turns) will be when these crystals will shoot out and harm the group.

And this doesn't have that there is still three enemies remaining.

The two farmhands, although if they had emotions would of been saddened at the fate of there comrade, knew that this was going to be a tough fight, and as such, they needed to take a break. If the group looks closely they would see that there was scars and cuts that they caused on the farmhands.

The placed there plows on the group and began convulse so sickly and sudden. As the group watched, mutated darkly looking maggots began to move out from the farmhand's scars and wounds and bit into there skin, pulling it back as to cover there injuries until there scars were none existent and so the two would be ready for the next turn.

(Farmhand A & B have been healed from 10% damage.)

Finally, the Foreman wanted his henchman to be stronger, especially as he himself was getting damaged by the group, and his whip was running thin thank's to the damage that the group has done to it.

He moved behind the first farmhand and in an instant lit up his whip with a blue flame before using it to whip the farmhand, smiling as the farmhand convulsed in pain.

He loved the job that he has, although even he knows it will be short lived and he will join the lost farmhand and that scarecrow in whatever the afterlife resembles.

	“Huh?-WOAH!” Pit gasped, frantically ducking out of the way of Artorias’s Spiral Swing. “…That was so cool...” Pit whispered between pants as he witnessed the barrage of brutality Artorias inflicted as strands of stray feathers sprinkled down on him.
	“Is he gonna be..?” Pit asked in a tone equally hopeful and hopeless. “I’ll extract him before Death can extract him.” Palutena whispered as a column of light whisked the Toad away. “Our nurse will see what she can do.” Hopefully Death wouldn’t mind. What’s saving one soul compared to all the crystal souls they’ll slaughter in this mission? “Thanks Lady Palutena.” Pit sniffed gratefully. “Though they weren’t able to save Dark Pit.” Palutena sighed mournfully.
	“They Couldn’t What?” Pit flared up in panic for a whole new reason. “He’s Still just as bitter as an eggplant~.” Palutena coyly smiled much to Pit’s bemusement. “And That’s how it’s done.” Palutena huffed at Phosphora.
	With the Toad out of the way, Pit had one less thing to worry about, Pit could go back to worrying about the Foreman healing his men. “Oh no you don’t!” Pit interjected, brandishing his First Blade.  As fast as a spinning sawblade, Pit unleashed a flurry of slashes intending to cut the enemy support short.

Something was wrong with Artorias, not physically, given his left open posture, and exhausted state, but... mentally. Something was happening. Artorias had given his mind to the endless void expanse, letting his anger and his hopelessness merge, become one, coalesce, then vanish. For a moment, the cacophonous screams of a thousand lifetimes soared through that helmet right to Palutena's ears, and Pit's, if he could listen to the thoughts. Finally, he gained composure, and simultaneously let his mind free to the winds of madness. This was his time! His calling..! This eldritch, hateful spiting that the world itself crafted to face him down was nothing. Artorias strode forward in a steady charge, winding his blade right up for a heavy swing..!

He didn't stop here. With his blade arced outward, not even finished moving through the swing, Artorias's ire was focused right onto the next Farmhand, ready to crush him under the sheer weight of a loosely swung blade. He wasn't pulling any punches. Artorias wanted to flatten this guy right here and now, or at least, ring a few bells upstairs and knock the beast silly when it eventually unfroze.

Smiling again as the Farmhand reel against her electricity, Phosphora charged up to strike again. Before she could let the bolt unleash, however, she noticed the other enemies around them. They didn't really look too beat up (aside from the one that just dissolved into something Phosphora would rather not think about), and it looked like one of them was trying to get the other two worked up with that whip. "Now, that won't do at all" Phosphora said in a mockingly condescending tone. Working her way into the middle of the group, using her lighting-fast movement to avoid injury, Phosphora let loose a blast of built up lightning to try and fry the group of zombies. Or at least tenderize them for Artorias, Pit and Death to handle

Death was happy that he could get some time to real something, Lawful evil he may be, but stupid he was not. The farmhands would heal themselves, but the Foreman had managed to get a buff effect in place, to which Death gave the creature a permanent smirk.

"Not going to happen with that buff, bub." Death said to the Foreman and without warning, snapped his fingers utterly destroying the damage boosting buff on any Farmhands that were buffed up this turn.

Death would continue to give a mere smirk, his Scythe still itching to tear souls out fo be judged. However, it was best to wisely pick a proper way to deal with collecting them for this to happen.
