History On Li:
Aran Ryan was never the smartest one, and didn’t seem to care much about rules or regulations. As such, he was actually quite shocked when he was kicked out of the WVBA after bringing a weapon into the ring. He figured that if he couldn’t fight dirty, then what was the point of fighting in the first place? He was just about to give into the despair of having to “follow the rules”, when he and his surroundings were suddenly transported to the Planet Li. At first he was confused, but soon realized wherever he now was was an extremely dangerous and inhospitable place to live... And he loved it!
Learning that he was now stuck on the Planet Li did not scare or even worry Aran Ryan. In fact, if anything, he saw it as a great opportunity to cut loose. During his time in the WVBA, he had been admonished and eventually banned for his use of illegal moves, such as headbutts and elbow smashes. On Li, however, it seemed as though it was an “anything goes” environment where you can fight dirty however much you wanted. With this in mind, Aran Ryan couldn’t wait to get in a real scrap in this new and chaotic world, and has been searching wherever he could in order to find the biggest, dirtiest brawls ever! Simply put, Aran Ryan has dedicated his new life on Li to finding new and exciting battles, and nothing else.
Primary Attacks (3)
Jab [7%]: A simple move, but effective, as it can be done in quick succession (Combo-able, Strength).
Hook [14%]: An arcing hook attack. May also hit an enemy adjacent to the initial target, as long as they are also in range (Strength).
Headbutt [21%]: A simple headbutt. Upon hit, the target has a 30% chance of having their vision become blurry due to head trauma, causing them to count as being blinded for one turn (creatures that are significantly larger cannot be blinded in this way, unless there is circumstantial justification)(Cooldown 2, Strength).
Special Attacks (3)
Childish Taunting [0%]: Through the use of childish, obnoxious, or even lewd insults, Aran Ryan is able to cause a feeling of rage in a single target. In order to be affected, the target must understand what Aran Ryan is saying, or at least the nature and tone of the insults. Non-sentient creatures such as mindless undead are unaffected. For 3 turns, the target of this attack has a +1 bonus to hit Aran Ryan, and a -2 penalty to attack creatures other than Aran Ryan. This effect ends early if Aran Ryan is Trophified. Anything targeted by this attack is immune to further uses of the attack for the rest of the fight. (Cooldown 3).
Elbow Smash [17%]: The Irish Mad boxer brings down his elbow onto the enemy. This attack, upon hit, has a 30% chance of stunning the target (Cooldown 2, Strength).
Jumping Headbutt [DMG 28%]: By making a dead sprint towards the opponent and jumping into the air, Aran Ryan can deliver a nasty headbutt. The same blind chance rules of Headbutt (see above) apply to this move as well. However, if this attack misses, Aran Ryan will either tumble, or miscalculate his headbutt, dealing 5% damage to himself (Cooldown 2, Strength).
Final Smash (1)
Rope Trick [DMG 40%]: Aran Ryan takes out his trusty Rope-Boxing glove-Weapon, which he then swings in a 10 foot sphere, centered on himself.
Other Info: Like I said, this is my first character, which I wrote up over the course of three days. As this is my first, I would like some necessary feedback and criticism, so I can know the Do's and Don'ts of character creation for later characters. Thanks for reading.
