Rito Village, Hyrule/Breath of the Wild
Alignment: Lawful Good
Motto: "With proper utilization of my superior skills, I see no reason why we couldn't easily dispense with Ganon."
Allies/Friends: Link, Zelda, Daruk, Mipha, Urbosa
Enemies/Rivals: Calamity Ganon, Yuuga Clan, Windblight Ganon
Backstory: The Wannabe Hero
Appearance:
History On Li: This looked like it was the end for Hyrule after all. Link had fallen just like Revali had predicted and yet it did not hold satisfaction. The Calamity was beyond what he would of expected as darkness and ruin fell? And where was he? His Divine Beast was being threatened by some offput of Calamity Ganon. Still, he held his bow in hand and fought back against the beast. However, to his surprise, the monster had control over the winds and he had difficulty flying. He fell to the ground, weakened, and it looked like it was his turn to fall now. Looks like he was not cut out for it as much as he thought. He could not handle a simple spawn of the terror.
However, even as his pride was wounded, a portal opened up behind him with a strong wind and pulled him in. The avian archer flew through the portal before being deposited in some cave. The bird picked him up, not sure whether to thank the Goddesses or question their decision. Still, he needed to find out where he was. However, one step told him he was going nowhere in his position. He needed some help. What a champion.
Primary Attacks (3)
Great Eagle Bow: Ravli's trademark and specialized weapon that is the tool of the Rito Champion. It is made with air mobility in mind so it's the perfect type of weapon for a flying combatant like a Rito to use on their foes. It can be used to fire either one arrow or three arrows at the same time, allowing quick rapid single shots or a concentrated shot for medium damage as they hit their target at once. [Light to Medium DEX Attack, 8-18%]
Revali's Tempest: The Rito Champion utilizes his special control over wind to create hazardous air currents at the foe. It is good for keeping foes and targets back since he works best as a ranged fighter than taking front field. He can use them in a variety of ways and they can push the foe back pretty hard. [Medium Wisdom Attack, 16%]
Champion's Descent: A close range technique Revali mastered to keep ground with his foes should they be too close for his long ranged fighting style's comfort. He uses the air currents and his unmatched air speed to slam into the foe whether it be from above, a swoop, or a spinning tackle. This technique makes up for his poor strength by relying solely on the speed of impact. The slam is quite strong and impacts the foe hard to launch them a distance before he recovers. However, the technique requires a 2 turn cooldown to recharge. (Heavy DEX Attack, 26%)
Special Attacks (3)
Revali's Gale: A special technique of the champion from the Rito people. Created by him, Revali is able to control winds to a masterful degree, making the ally of the Rito his greatest ally as it makes his soaring even better and takeoff a breeze and his aim only improved with a bow while in flight. This makes him swifter and harder to keep a hold on as he soars with more ease than normally possible. For 3 turns, his DEX stat is boosted by 6, however, he needs room to execute it so unless the indoor space is fairly big, it is best used outside. His power needs 3 turns to recharge after use.
Eagle Eye Focus: Revali focuses his aim on his target, time seeming to slow to a crawl as his eyes and hands swiftly move into position to get a good shot on the enemy. Targeting the enemy's weakpoints, his aim holds true as his accuracy for critical blows severely increases for all strikes. However, this degree of focus is very exhausting and tend to trains to drain on stamina quite fast before he has to stop. As a result, he can only focus for 3 turns before he is forced to recover. He can extend the buff's duration but he is inflicted with Severe Exhaustion upon doing so for 2 turns + how many turns he keeps it up. 4 turn cooldown. [Critical Hit Buff, lowers the requirements for crits to Nat18 for all attacks]
Elemental Arrows: Having more than just normal arrows in his quiver, Revali also possesses an array of elemental arrows that provide an extra magical power to his bow shots with their own special effects. The arrows take a bit of prep and aim to fire reliably and best to not waste them since they are quite expensive. These arrows come in three types, Fire Arrows, which explode in a firey explosion when they make impact and set things on fire. Ice Arrows, which create a wintery blast on impact that freezes the foe to the bone. And finally Shock Arrows, which create an electrical burst that electrocutes the foe hit with a painful shock. Takes 2 actions and has a three turn cooldown. 50% chance to burn, Freeze, or Paralyze, depending on the arrow's element. Can not be blocked. [Heavy DEX Attack, 28%]
Final Smash (1)
Sacred Shot of the True Champion: A powerful skill that Revali devised to show Link who truly deserves to be the hero. Originally invented to show Link that his sword was not as important as everyone goes on about, it possesses great stopping power but unfortunately he never got to use it. First, he creates a cyclone around the foe to trap them in the air spinning. Taking his bow and loading it with 2 bomb arrows and an Ancient Arrow, he fires all three at the foe, cutting through the cyclone and causing an explosion of bright blue light that fills the air with particles as it rains ancient energy for a small time like confetti. (Single Target, 60%)
Other Info: Revali can manipulate air currents with ease and fly freely even in rough weather.
Revali is from the period 100 years before BOTW.
Revali's feathers keep him rather warm in the cold.
What? Were you expecting someone else?
