Samus's Gunship was fairly roomy, much more roomy that it looked on the insides, the back of the ship containing the various Suits of Samus's Adventures, from her first venture in Zebes to the Fusion suit, and everything inbetween, as Samus sat on the seat next to the control center, starting to tap and get the ship revving, watching 
Squad Two and Three starting to venture off, as Samus started to lift of, Flying higher and higher until her gunship was in the clouds, as a perfect camouflage, before slowly cruising forward.


"Once we land on the deck, The ship will go as fast as possible to get away from the ship. Im relying on E. Gadd to tell us when Squad Two is beginning to draw attention." Samus would say, Before floating over the Absolution's Deck, as Samus readied herself. "As soon as we land, we'll head toward that Tower on the eastern side of the ship. Thats where the command room will be." Samus would say, turning over to Arle, Peach, Schezo, Lemres, Rulue and Miss Accord.

"When we find Sonic, Dont start attacking him unless he attacks first...I want to see if we can talk sense into him." Samus said, looking to Mrs. Accord especially. "Im hoping that a teachers calm and welcoming demeanor can help accomplish that." She said, giving explanation as to why Mrs. Accord was brung along, asides the free ride on the cool ship.



"Allright Samus, Squad Two is beginning the assault! Go go go!" E. Gadd's voice would yell from samus's console, as Samus nodded, Bringing the ship down quickly, suddenly halting as it landed on the ship's Deck, Landing with a loud Thunk, And opening the hatch door.

"Start moving!" Samus would say, running out of the door in her power suit, Moving with Squad One, as soon as everyone left, Samus's ship would take off, leaving for a possible return...

"Samus's ship has been detected. Command Room guards, Get ready....Gohr, Your up!" Sonic would say to his own commands, as the door to the East Command Tower would open, revealing an unexpected combatant...

“Acknowledged.”

The surface of the gunship rattled as the East Command Tower’s gate opened, a combatant of weighty proportions revealing his chassis to the outside light. The machine’s eyes glimmered as he spotted his target of interest, Samus Aran. While he was notified of her presence in the area, it was truly something he had to see to believe. The mech sauntered onto the deck of the gunship, slamming his titanic metal fist behind him to seal the entrance once more. He had worked so hard to make Sonic’s vision a reality, he wasn’t just going to allow some bounty hunter and her ragtag group of compatriots tear it to the ground.

“Just in time” the Phazon induced cyborg muttered to himself as he gazed upon his new found enemies charging toward his position. Ghor subtly turned his head away, making note of a nearby storage container that he quickly realized would suit his needs perfectly. Readying his capture claws, a set of hook shots fired from his wrists and latched onto the item of interest. Swiftly spooling his grapple lines back to his person, Ghor lifted the massive container over his head and gazed back onto Samus’s team. “Catch!” he shouted, cackling at his own dark sense of humour. Instantly, he tossed the storage unit directly at his foes, the square footage of the item being enough to squash the lot of them should they refuse to scatter.

While he was clearly outmatched in terms of sheer numbers, he knew he had the superior firepower. Not to mention that this was clearly not the extent of Samus’s special forces, he needed no help taking down a measly team of seven operatives, especially when they included some of his former comrades. Their tactics were the simplest to exploit.

The mech suit continued to step forward, the blades on its gauntlets retracting for a more sensible weapon to deal with distant foes. A twin set of busters take its place, gunning down whoever manages to duck out of the way of his giant metal greeting card. Preferably Samus, but he’ll take pot shots at the first person that manages to evade his first attack.

Arle of course sat with Rulue, just kind of idly holding her hand as they flew. She wasn't the biggest fans of ships. When she was riding something, she liked to know that it could hear her and feel her. Like she could communicate with it and exercise some control over it. This was fine though. Lots of comfy faces as far as the eye could see. ...And then Samus instructed them not to attack Sonic. Dangit, were they still playing this game? You could see her expression deflate at the idea, but she declined to say anything. It probably wouldn't change a thing.

Either way, she knew why she was here. All they had to do was make their way out of this ship aaaand--

"KYAAAAAA!!" Arle shrieked. She wasn't ready to dodge something that big! ...Nor was she strong enough to lift it off of her. A mild panic set in as she found herself being crushed! The mage's cheeks turned red in frustration as she tried to lift the crate, to no avail. "Nnn... Rrrulue! I need help!" Arle whined. Thankfully, her breastplate was protecting her chest from being crushed as well. There was no way that nintendium armor was going to fold under the pressure. ...Not that it covered enough to make a big difference.

Just a small one.

While Arle was pinned down, she began making an incantation to summon a friend to fight in her steed. A powerful friend she'd once fought alongside against the Moon Lord--affectionately called space c'thulu. After a good, long moment a surge of power could be felt errupting from underneath the crate. A terrifying serpent phased right through hit with minimal effort, making a beeline toward their armored enemy.

The monster lunged and attempted to plow through the cybernetic soldier, taking a giant bite out of him as it passed!

Meanwhile, Arle removed some of the power from her body for easier access later using diacute! No need for throughput concerns later in the battle~! Plus, she still needed Rulue to help pull her out from under this box so she could actually see her enemy.

Rulue kept herself close to Arle, and Accord was either sitting by her lonesome or with someone else. While Rulue admittedly wanted to take a good gander at the number of suits Samus had in display, this wasn't the time. Of course, once the plan was laid out, Accord understood why she was dragged along with Squad One: to try to talk some sense into the hedgehog's apparent madness.

"I see. I'll do what I can." Accord responded. She was kind of reminded of Lidelle, if only for just that brief moment. That flash of hopeful kindness felt very familiar.

As they landed, Rulue was one of the first to leave the ship...

...and she saw that huge container coming their way. She managed to dodge it, but her beloved? Not really.
"Arle!! Hang in there!"

She managed to see some shots coming at her, but she couldn't do much with two of them. To be honest, she was not paying much mind to the monster shooting at her, she was more worried about the mage squashed by the container. She managed to lift the container and take Arle out of it with not much of an apparent struggle. Once the auburn-haired girlfriend was out of there, she'd drop the container off elsewhere before checking on Arle a bit. She was saying anything, but one could see the worry in her eyes.

Her face would soon turn to Gohr, and boy oh boy, she didn't look very happy about that. Understatements aside, Rulue would now engage the big ugly fella with the way she knew best. She ran towards Gohr and first and foremost, unleashed a storm of fists.

Schezo sat on the opposing side of the seats from Arle and Rulue curse you middle walkway, listening to the briefing upon getting into position. Lemres, meanwhile, is sitting with Accord. Towards the East, and to the command room. But if they get there, Samus wants to try diplomacy, huh? The odds are slim, but it might mean one less conflict. Who knows? As much Schezo wants to give him hell, that's a smarter option...

Once the team was in position, Schezo storms in at the signal...

"Whoah!"

Schezo jumped out of the way of the giant container trying to bowl the trio over. Arle had the unfortunate circumstances of freezing up and getting slammed, to which Schezo turned over to her to vocalize his concerns.

"Arle, are you alright!?"

Unfortunately, Schezo has little time to get Arle out of her predicament, turning back to the machine while Rulue pried her out. Seems that hedgehog was prepared way ahead, huh? Schezo readied himself against the mech, attempting to dodge each barrage of shots first, as his sword was not readied to fight.

"Ngh-! Why you!"

1 for 3 isn't that great odds against this thing, unfortunately, but Schezo could take a couple of scratches. That's nothing compared to the scar on his neck and all over his left arm let's not talk about either of those. Schezo drew out his sword, ready to charge in to follow up on Rulue's series of attacks. He first starts with a heavy sword slash...

Samus would suddenly dive into a Morph ball, Rolling past and under the flying container, Coming back up as her eyes opened wide. "Arle!!" She would scream in worry, turning to see him. "Gohr...!!" Samus would say in anger, her visor becoming fogged over in green light as she readied for battle!

However, Unfortunately as it was, Despite being able to deftly avoid the masive container, Samus was blasted by all of the three buster shots Gohr sent at her, Her suit firing off bolts of static as holes were put into its armor, as she was pushed back and skidded across the ground. "G-gah!" She would let out a shrill panicked yell as she looked at Gohr's machine angrily.


"Gohr, Your working with Sonic?!" Samus would ask, narrowing her eyes as she locked and loaded her arm cannon. "I dont know what you could see in it, But its nice to see things never change.." Samus said, before looking at Arle, whom was returning again, to summon forth a Stardust dragon, And then to the rest of them. "Everyone, Dont attack him from the front! Gohr's energy shields will resist anything direct!" Samus would advise.

"Anyone with Ice or Water Magic, Begin freezing the floor! His Machine cant handle traction on slick surfaces! When he trips, Attack the back, The generator for his machine is there! its a weak spot!" Samus advised, Before firing a Surpressing Fire on Gohr's Shield to distract him, as the rest would help work on the tactic samus provided!

The machine watched his opponents carefully as they scattered around his storage container. Most managed to avoid the tossed shrapnel, but sweeping them off their feet was merely a bonus. His true prize was breaking up their group formation. They were far less formidable if they remained divided. Samus seemed to be in the team spirit today, so perhaps his plans were spoiled after all.

Planning out his next move, Ghor sunk his blades into the hull of the ship, freezing his movements and allowing his shoulders to reconfigure into his desired assault mode. In the meantime, he supposed a little banter between his old ally wouldn’t hurt. “It’s quite simple, Samus. The Starvia is a blight on the universe. Its raw power outmatches that of Phazon. The Starvia must be wiped out so Phazon can flourish!” the cyborg stated as the ethereal tentacles of the parasite radiated from his body. “It’s a trade off, Samus! A couple thousand lives to save the multiple billions across the multi-verses! Your self-righteousness prevents you from seeing the reality of our situation!”

Just as he finished speaking though, a serpent-like dragon erupted from the metal crate. It instantly charged towards him, the unexpected creature catching him completely off guard. Frantically, Ghor tore his blades from the surface of the ship and was ready to make an impromptu escape, but the dragon was too close in proximity for any kind of graceful dodge, so he summoned the digital shield that Samus had made mention to earlier. It severely knocked his mech suit back, a couple warning lights indicating that his shields were at low power. “Hng, that was impressive” he winced.

As his smoking machinery lowered its protective screen, Ghor was immediately met with a rather vengeful… He wasn’t quite certain what it was. It looked like an infant human, but it clearly had more power than one. Perhaps he underestimated the smaller creatures that Samus carried along. In which case, he needed to switch up his tactics almost immediately. In response to the presence of the feisty creature, Ghor swapped out his legs for their tread setting and began to engage the enemy.

The furious maiden showed little remorse when brutalizing Ghor, so much so that he couldn’t complete his transformation before getting wailed on like a piñata at a birthday party. His suit was capable of absorbing some of the damage, but he couldn’t take those types of hits all day.

Like he hadn’t already been juggled enough from the blue haired one, the swordsman made his approach, but this time Ghor was ready for whatever tricks he might have up his sleeve. Ghor under-estimated the smaller fighters, which was a mistake he was not ready to repeat.

Ghor still had a difficult time recovering from Rulue’s onslaught, but after suffering a brief sword slash, the mech was able to get back onto his feet. The cyborg used his bladed arm as a lightning rod, absorbing the thunderstorm attack and allowing the extra juice he absorbed from the electricity based attack to boost his systems, including his thrusters, allowing him to jump out of harms way and onto the other side of the storage container.

The sudden change in position seemed to be enough to deter Samus’s attempts at suppression fire. She managed to clip his armour during his descend, but otherwise her attempts were futile. “Plans usually work better when you don’t announce what your doing” he advised as his shoulders were finally prepped for his desired attack mode.

A small canister popped out from Ghor’s armoured torso, a grenade like object flying toward Rulue and Samus. Samus might recognize its design, something like the Phazon grenades that the Space Pirates used against her when she was equipped with a PED suit as well. As she might remember, it usually packed a ton of Phazon.

Phazon Grenade: The grenade deals 25% damage on all foes within the blast radius, in addition to inflicting the Berserk status upon them for 3 turns. 2 turn cooldown.

“That should provide a much needed boost” he quipped to himself and then readied his shoulder mounted rockets for combat. Both of his shoulders erupted into a cloud of smoke, a series of heat seeking missiles rocketing through the air. Seeing that Rulue proved to be the most threatening of the four, three of his shoulder mounted explosives targeted her, while the rest sought out Arle, just so that she wasn’t under the impression that he forgot about her.

Homing Missiles: A barrage of missiles erupt from the suit’s chassis, seeking out a single target. Three missiles will home in on their location, each dealing 13% damage, all operating under the same accuracy roll. How many ultimately hit the target will be dependant on their dodge roll. If they crit fail or roll a third or under Ghor’s accuracy roll, they will be hit by all three. If they roll higher than a third, but lower than half, they will be hit by two. If they roll higher than half, but not higher than Ghor’s accuracy roll, one missile will hit. If the target uses their bubble shield, they will be hit by all missiles.

“These creatures that you brought with you intrigue me, allow me to take a closer look at them” Ghor taunted as he fired his hookshot directly toward the sword fighter. Should he be incapable of avoiding his grappling hook, Schezo would quickly find himself entangled by the machine’s spool and yanked back toward his shiny metal blade, trapped within his grapple.

"Y-Yeah, I'm alright... Thanks Rulue..." Arle softly replied as she was helped from under the crate. Man, that really didn't feel good--especially on her legs. She was tough stuff though, and so she stood to face this crate tosser, only to discover a half-dozen missiles headed their way. "aaaAAAaaaAAAAAH! RU-UUU-UUN!!" Arle screamed in alarm, attempting to launch herself away from where they'd been standing only to get launched by a bunch of explosions as, to her surprise, the missiles followed her! The blue mage just kinda went flying, her tiara going flying from her head and landing a few feet from her where she landed. A rather pathetic sounding whine of pain escaped her lips.

"Kyuuuu..."

Poor Arle. Her body was taking a lot of abuse! ...A lot! Y'know who wasn't going to stand for that? ...Well, Arle, for at least a few more seconds. But also... "That's quite enough!" Peach called out. She could only watch Arle get bullied for so long before her temper ran thin. It was time for a switch in! The click of her ruby red heels heralded the imminent arrival of a good, fantastic whoopin'. "I'll ask that you direct your attention here. I will be teaching you an important lesson, with the help of my sisters-in-arms!" Peach went on to request as she made her way to the forefront of the battlefield. "That the power of love is stronger than both the starvia and 'phazon'. And that a world without love... isn't worth fighting for!!" Peach went on to shout, a battle cry straight from the heart of the magical girl's society! ...Pun intended.

A tingling feeling would manifest itself in the hearts of those applicable, spreading throughout their bodies and empowering them! And then, Peach tossed an aquamarine gemstone into the air. It appeared to burst with light, and the spirit of Keldeo appeared on the battlefield! "Keldeo, Sammy and I need your help. Use aqua jet to wet the ground!" Peach commanded, like a proper Pokemon Trainer. Thanks, Cynthia! The ghostly spirit of Keldeo complied, oddly enough spraying several streams of water from its hooves as it shot across the arena.

And then, Peach decided to give Ghor some help going down! The sight of the princess turning about and stifling a sneeze could be seen. Next thing anyone knew, Peach had sneezed and was flying backside-first at Ghor. Those familiar with the attack could expect an explosion of pretty pink hearts on contact. With any luck, she could throw him back.

Well, that wasn't a shining example of his finesse. His magic assault was thoroughly nullified, but this is only the beginning. He can't strike out his magic just yet, there just needs to be a change of plans with it. Such as what Samus is vocalizing right now. Hmm...She's onto something.

"Alter the terrain and strike from behind, you say?"

Schezo turned his attention back between the tome in his hand and on the ship's deck. Razorblade Typhoon is aquatic in nature, so that SHOULD work, right? Oh, wait, talking isn't as free of an action here. He can't get his answer right away as there is a bit of a missile problem the ladies are having. Ones that home in, no less. Yeesh, good thing Schezo isn't getting targeted by those. But he has his own problem. Ghor's about grab hold of Schezo!

"!?!?"

In a sheer reflex, the dark wizard bolted from the ground and took to the skies to try and avoid the grasp of the hookshot! It happened all so quickly, but the cape on his back now bears the pattern of a starlit nebula in a night sky, spread out and wide to resemble a pair of wings.

(Schezo has taken flight with the Nebula Mantle! +2 to Dodges for 1 turn or struck down.)

He barely evaded it in time, but he might not be so lucky with the next few dodges, much like Arle's poor luck. What's going on? Isn't Schezo the one supposed to be one with bad luck here? Must be an off day, if she's being called back to recover from her poor streak.

...Ok. No buff for Schezo. That's cool. Totally feeling the love here.

With the aerial vantage point, he might be able to confound Ghor with aerial speed and strike from behind. But first, with the tome still in hand, he cast a few Razorblades at the ground, intentionally making a splash and preparing the terrain for freezing.

And then trying to shoot him from behind with what he knows best: dark magic.

Rulue had no doubt listened to Samus' plan, but her mind was more onto that shield Gohr had. He was surprisingly nimble for a 'guy' with that much size, armor, and weaponry. Who was to say he wouldn't manage a bunch of people trying to back attack him? Perhaps she should distract him just so the others might get a hit him? Who knows, maybe she could destroy that annoying shield.

--And just when she had her thoughts sorted out, incoming grenade! Well, Phazon grenade, but still. But that wasn't all, for Gohr also shot some heat-seeking missiles that were targeting her. Guess she left quite an impression on him, huh.

Unfortunately for Gohr, he was unable to hit Rulue this time around...well, physically, at least, because the fact that his missile attack directed at Arle hit her managed to rile her up even more which admittedly isn't very good for him either. She took a moment to check over the other before turning back to Gohr, her expression getting ever so angrier.

"You...!!" She began, but never quite finished. Her expression only came to soften when she took a deep breath. She needed to calm down. Sure, Gohr needed to pay for violently bombing her beloved like that, but she couldn't go ballistic. Who knows what could happen during that? No, instead...she had to calm her mind...

"Prepare yourself for a world of hurt."

Rulue would charge Power Wave once again, though it looked just a bit more powerful than before... "Power...Wave!"

After that, Rulue'd leap off the surface, as one of her legs became covered in her ki. "Rulue..." she began calling ot the name of an attack as she got into a dive kick position...and proceeded to dive towards Gohr! His 'ugly mug', to be more specific. "...IMPACT!!" The second part of the attack name call only came as Rulue cam close enough to peform the dive kick. But that wasn't all. After the dive kick, a small-scale earthquake would occur around Rulue's area...and it'd catch Gohr if he wasn't fast enough.

Samus was not nearly as prepared for the Phazon Grenade as Rulue was. As an unfortunate display of bad luck, the explosive bounced off the grooves in the ground to near perfectly follow Samus’s attempts at diving out of the blast radius, causing it to land directly at her feet. The impending shockwave launched her into the air a fair way away. While it would normally be a minor inconvenience at most, she quickly realized that the result of the blast sent her careening off the edge of the gunship. The ledge was so tantalizingly close to her grasp, but her desperate hand couldn’t get a good grasp on it. The bounty hunter disappeared over the edge.

While the pink clad princess made her threats, Ghor was rather disinterested by it all. Blame it on her rather unthreatening appearance as he was still used to the rules of his home universe where power was tied to the technologically advanced. Not to mention that his radar blipped as Samus began her descent off the edge. While she had lost her place as his most dangerous adversary in the fight, finishing her off as quickly as possible was a better idea in the long term. He visibly turned his attention away from combat and began to start up his thrusters to pursue Samus, but his radar bleeped a bit more urgently, the source being the space between him and Peach.

The gargantuan mech hectically spun around to gain view of the princess’s rear end rocketing toward him like a torpedo. The power readings he was receiving were off the charts, which he couldn’t possibly believe, but considering the battle prowess of the other creatures, he couldn’t afford to underestimate them any further. The screen of his shield activated once more, but the astral projection shattered under the sheer impact. The explosion of heart knocked Ghor backwards, and while his mech’s feet would normally anchor him to the ground, the ship’s surface had suddenly been coated in ice.

The machine wasted little time boosting itself back onto its feet, even then the time he spent flat on his back was detrimental to the operation. “I despise this planet” the cyborg lamented as his optics began to glow once more. The machine’s bodice began to glow once more, though the Phazon tendrils became thicker and stronger because of it. The parasite within him was pumping more and more of the substance into his machinery, causing him to go full-on berserk!

Upon returning to an upright position, Ghor focused all his attention to the blue haired brawler in front of him, paying little mind to the airborne nuisance behind him. The arrows from his attempted attack were merely battered away by his astral tendrals dealing no damage to him ultimately.

With Phazon coursing through every wire and vein left in his body, the parasite became confident in its ability to fend off the oncoming assault, but it clearly was not up to snuff when it came to putting that theory into practice. The tendrils attempted to fend off its host, but the Power Wave sliced clean through the Phazon’s influence, causing a backlash of power within Ghor’s circuitry. For a moment, the suit shorted out, leaving a helpless Ghor to meet his fate at the end of a furious Rulue’s dive kick. The brawler’s boot smashed half of the cyborg’s face off, and the earthquake following the attack rupture most of the machine’s suit, causing it to spark wildly, as though it was nearly ready for the scrapyard.

“Send reinforcements to the east tower. I will cripple the invading team, be ready to finish them off” the machine instructed through his COMM link as he booted up his backup power. His chest component rearranged itself until a giant cannon poked out from within. “I will see to your destruction personally!” Ghor called out as he aimed it at Rulue.

Without a moment’s notice, Ghor launched himself into the air, his thrusters barely functional at this point, but it was more than enough to give him an impressive height over that of Schezo. What was more troubling was that his thrusters switched direction as he hit the peak of his ascent, his sparking and gigantic chassis casting a shadow over the dark magician, threatening to squash him.

Whether or not he collided with Schezo on his descent didn’t matter, upon impacting with the hull’s surface, his mech suit caused a shockwave that threatened to knock the other two fighters on the battlefield back.

Upon returning to the ship’s hull, Ghor didn’t forget his promise to his blue haired adversary. Rulue had been the most present thorn in his side, so he was quite dedicated in term of seeing to her demise by this point. “Your efforts are meaningless! After I rip you to shreds, your little girlfriend is next!” the titan attempted to threaten as his lower jaw nearly unhinged itself. “I shall rise again! And if this planet isn’t obliterated by then, she will be the first I hunt down!”

With that, Ghor extended his arm blades and began to approach his enemy with a flurry of swipes and jabs. Anything to wear down his newfound foe.

He called out as he saw the bounty hunter get flung off the deck. He trusts that she can get back to the battleground, but now they're one fighter short for the time being. At the very least, the plan to freeze the terrain was successful, tripping up Ghor. Ah, but there isn't much time for distractions, as Ghor is rather pissed. A giant shadow began to loom over the dark wizard, giving Schezo the slow, realization of dread that he's about to get stomped on like a bug. Uh oh...

The mantle can't bring Schezo up sky high. That's one of the flaws of the mantle, as it'd exhaust its magic rather quickly. He couldn't simply avoid it by out-flying Ghor. It may not have much capacity in height, but it does make up for another aspect...

"Whoah!"

Its agility. Schezo is capable of using the wings to dart place to place, making him a harder target to hit. The ground slam was swiftly evaded, averting a Schezo Pancake in the making. However, not all is peachy, as the impact would bring another problem directed towards the ladies. Oh boy, would his speedy maneuvers actually help, or would he be caught in the collateral trying? He decided to keep his distance for now, in an attempt to finish the job from above. First comes a set of Razorblades...

And to end off his flight, Schezo drew his sword ready for Areiado. One would expect him to cast his signature magic spell, but not this time! Sorta. It's going to play out a little differently. Coupled with an aerial vantage point, Schezo used what remained of the mantle's magic to dive bomb into a shockwave of his own.

"Oh!" Peach blurted out, leveling Perry at Ghor. It wasn't to attack him, though. Rather it was to shield herself from the incoming shockwave!

When Peach recovered from the impact, the sound of Schezo lamenting Samus' loss drew her attention just in time to see the bounty hunter get sent over the edge. "--Sammy!!" Peach called out, dropping what she was doing to go try and chase Samus, not wanting to leave her behind. Man, they'd already had to rescue her once! she wanted to be rescued this time! --...Maybe hold that thought. She was decidedly going to be focusing on recovering Samus for the time being.


Meanwhile, an injured Arle watched in horror as Ghor bore down on Rulue, releasing a blast of energy and hacking away at her with a blade. All while she sat in misery, listening to him threaten her. What shocked and drew her breathing still wasn't how intimidating Ghor's threats were, but how he used them. He wasn't even talking to her. He was talking to Rulue! He was ... using Arle's weakness to hurt her. ...Arle forced herself back to her feet, only for a very sharp pain from her side to flare up in protest of her actions. "Healing." Arle softly incanted,  soothing her wounds with magic to grant her some additional stability.

And then, turning upon Ghor, Arle dropped her pretense of recovering before moving to quickly intervene on his berserker's rage! "Holy Laser!" Arle loudly incanted, channeling holy magic through her body and unleashing it in the form of a divine wave motion laser to drive Ghor back!

Rulue didn't see the shot coming until it was too late to dodge. There was enough time to put up a shield, however, to which she found herself using as the projectile went towards her at full speed. The shield stood well against the shot, though it has depleted a fair bit.

Of course, Gohr wasn't exactly done with her. After he tried to attack Schezo, the...whatever-he-was tried to attack her with blades!

The first attack was easily telegraphed, but the second and third managed to catch her. The third attack was slightly more special than the other rwo because it just happened to leave a scar on her face. "Gnh..." Rulue muttered, covering said face before Gohr was attacked by a ray of light and Arle rushed to Rulue's side, asking if she was all right.

"Don't worry, Arle. It's just a scratch." She commented as she brought her hand down, flashing a quick smile at her lover. Arle could see that she was kinda bluffing because that scar was kinda big and it was legit bleeding. Speaking of bleeding, Rulue passed a hand over the wound and gazed at the red liquid that leaked out of it. She smirked and looked at Gohr. "...honestly, if I got one gold for everytime someone said my efforts were 'meaningless' or a variation thereof, I'd be even richer than before." Rulue commented. "...Hmph. Sorry, brutus, been there done that several times before. Though, credit where it's due, at least now you're putting up a good fight. However...lets see how long that lasts, hmm?"

...well, Gohr gets an 'A' in effort, at least.

Rulue decided to get close and personal-er than ever before this fight. Closing off whatever distance they had, now she was just trying to deck Gohr in the face with a trio of rock breaking fists. ...hey, at least she wasn't going to judo throw him, that could've been way worse.

Ghor’s vision was strictly fixated on Rulue and his blender of blades chopping clean through her. With every hit that connected, the parasite fed him in kindly return with a powerful euphoria. The vengeance felt so sweet to Ghor, despite that fact that its end goal was overall meaningless. His defeat was immanent, though he realized that much earlier in the fight.

The cyborg paid little mind to his other foes in the area, feeling that his kamikaze assault against his new-found adversary was tactically the best option he had. Crippling one of the operatives in this invasive force was far more effect than trying to whittle down the defenses of them all. Unfortunately, that came with a cost. A set of razorblades bombarded his backside, digging into his most vulnerable of fail-safes. It did not impede his attacks though. The series of spectral arrows did though, critically damaging his back mounted generators. His eyes noticeably grew as he disconnected himself from his battle armour and crawled over the head crest on his machine.

Upon further inspection though of the damaged generator though, he knew exactly what the incisions entailed. He had no will or energy left in him to fight, but the turn of events would prove quite favourable for his end goals. He weakly slinked back into the pilot’s seat and veered his walking scrap heap closer to Rulue, which innately caused him to avoid the aerial fighter’s next attack.

“Taste… oblivion…” the lumbering mech stated as he fell to his mechanical knees. A cautionary light within his control panel warned of an impending explosion. He was quite content with having them both erupt into flames. As he sat in anticipation though, a beam of holy light struck directly through him, searing through the Phazon parasite within him. The dark glow of its influence faded, reinstating Ghor’s true consciousness to take control once more, a slight daze of confusion consuming his mind for the time being.

His head wasn’t offered much time for recovery, however, as Rulue rightfully claimed vengeance on the remainder of Ghor’s chassis, bashing his head repeatedly to the point where it was nearly knocked off completely, spewing pieces of scrap metal in every other direction. Once her assault was complete, the suit toppled over, slamming into the hull with maximum force and pinning its pilot down like an ion butterfly. Ghor scrapped enough of himself out to reveal his torso and immediately turned to the generator propped on his armour’s back. Activating his arm mounted plasma beam, he sliced the component clean off and pointed to it, albeit with what little strength he still had. “Goin-… explode…” the machine attempted to warn with his malfunctioning jaw.

Ghor and the rest of his flimsy body flopped onto the ground like a corpse normally would, though his arm in its current state still pointed to the gate that lead into the East Tower, their original target before Ghor threw himself into the mess. “There…” he mustered out before the lights in his eyes died.

He knew better than the rest of them that the door was near impenetrable without the use of high explosives, especially since his other self locked it down upon exiting the facility. The true Ghor could recognize the atrocities that Sonic was about to employ on the planet and if he had the strength, he would put a stop to it singlehandedly or die trying. He didn’t have that luxury, so informing the rebels’ next course of action was as best as he could do.

In the meantime, the cylindrical generator began to slide from its initial location, sparking and glowing with immense power.
