The events of this terrible night took place between 2PM and 6AM the next day.
2PM
Today was a special day on a seemingly abandoned island in the Soured Orange Ocean where a large decaying castle is barely standing. Today 23 guests were going to come to this island for a special dinner party, where an important announcement was to be made later that night during dinner. This is mostly because the mysterious party host was going to reveal him or herself and reveal something important regarding the previous world they were in, as most of the party guests are all from the same world they were in before they came to Li. It was also around this time that guests were starting to come to this mysterious castle for there one night stay.
Yes, there deadly one night stay in this abandoned castle that used to belong to two kings, one of which was one of the guests, albeit he didn't want to but an old army partner of his pestered him to go. He also asked two girls to come with him so he can have people to talk to instead of any guests at the party as he considers them annoying.
The first guest to arrive as the so called Lord of Games, who would often boast about how he's...Well the god of games and often makes fun of everyone he see's because he thinks hes inferior then everyone else due to being...The Lord of Games. "Hello?" LOG called from the foyer of the castle, looking for the current owner and possible third king of this castle. "Mr King sir. It's me one of the guests. I came for the party. Everyone else must be as slow as those Goombas that weird Princess Toadstool keeps around in her kingdom instead of executing them like a real princess would do. But anyway i'm the fastest due to being a god HAHAHA I'm even better then those Kid Icarus people. I'm so cool." LOG boasted to himself. However he did not get any answers from anyone in the castle, so he decided to head upstairs to see if anyone was up there.
When he reached the next floor he would see that all the doors were closed. Except for one that was beside him. A door which took him to a study where there was a piece of paper on a nearby desk.
LOG floated over to investigate the piece of paper, only to find that it was a will. A will written by the host of this party. "A will? I'm surprised nobody at the life sphere has wills written yet. Because there going to be forgotten one day like trash while I will be still alive, being a god over them." LOG boasted again as he began to read the will. Unaware of a mysterious figure standing by the doorway to the study. The figure was holding a metal pipe in there hands as he or she slowly walked up towards LOG, who's pong eyes lightened up in shock over who wrote the will.
"Wait, he wrote the will? But that's impossible he's supposed to be de---
"Hey."
"Hu---Just then LOG was struck in the back by the metal pipe, giving him a large dent at the back of his head. When he turned and looked at the figure, he was struck again, this time in the face, causing his TV face to quickly break as glass shards from LOG's face fell all around the room as the Lord of Games fell on the floor in front of his mysterious killer...Dead.
"Argh, dammit." The killer held his or her hand in pain. It was bleeding because a glass shard from LOG's face managed to cut into there hand and was now bleeding on the floor. The killer quickly left the room to get bandages for there wounded hand, leaving the corpse of LOG behind in the study.
The killer lost enough blood to create a small puddle in the room in front of LOG's corpse when one of the windows in the study blew open due to strong winds on the island. It started to push the small puddle of blood on the floor, which spelled out something that reads...
A RARE MURDER MYSTERY!
3PM
An hour later near the shores of Soured Orange Ocean. Theodora sat on a nearby rock, having just arrived at the meeting spot, holding a small box that was big enough to hide a person of her size in it. The box proceeded to shake, indicating that someone is hiding in this box...Conker. "Tell me again why I have to carry you into the castle? Your too heavy even for a sorceress like me." Theodora sounded annoyed that she has to carry Conker around until they made it to a spot on the island where he can be alone. "Because, I really, really, don't want to talk to those idiots that were going to meet on the Island. Especially Rodent, he's going to be here soon and start pestering us even before the party starts!" Conker himself sounded annoyed from inside the box as he moaned in sadness from within the box.
Theodora meanwhile tried to find the bright side of the situation regarding this dinner party. "Don't worry Conker. Even if all the other guests on this island might be rude, me and Chell will still keep you company. Plus think about all the stuff we can eat at this castle during the party." Just thinking about food made Theodora drool, so much so that some of it was starting to leak from within in the box.
"Uhh, mind not drooling in my panic box." Theodora stopped and looked down, smiling. "Oh right. Sorry. Chell and Rodent should be here soon, maybe Chell been through this situation with dinner parties before? I remember going to dinner party's back at my old school, and getting bored out of my mind because most of the topics everyone at the party would talk about were non magical. But like you, I had two friends with me to keep me company." Theodora lamented as she continued to sit on the rock, waiting for Chell to appear.
So they can go to this seemingly regular dinner party at this castle...Where nothing bad will happen tonight!
