History On Li:

White Mage had found herself transported to a world in turmoil. As she wandered the unfamiliar landscape, she learned of a disease ravaging the land and was horrified at how far it had spread and how many of the inhabitants who suffered from it. Never before had she encountered somewhere that needed her mystical arts of healing and protection more than this mysterious place called Li. Because of this, she guessed that she must have been “called” here by a higher power to do good work and found faith in this, driving her on to find a community of survivors.

Since having found the Life Sphere, White Mage has spent time doing good work for the community – helping with manual labour where needed using her trusty hammer, carrying for the sick and injured at Lightweather Hospital and poring through her tomes on White Magic for a solution to the Starvia plague but, to her frustration, nothing conclusive has shown up as a suitable cure. Nurse Joy seems to be starting to come up with results but White Mage has come to realise that she needs to venture back out into the world and join adventuring parties to find out more of Li’s secrets – the cure is out there somewhere.



Primary Attacks (3)

Hammer: White Mage takes her trusty one-handed hammer from its hook on her belt chain to give a couple of  bludgeoning swings at a target that gets a little too close for comfort. This is a short-ranged melee attack. Can also be used as a handy maintenance tool in a pinch, being a hammer and all. [Light to Medium STR attack 4-10%]



Smite: Though White Magic isn't really known for its offensive capabilities, there are a line of spells known as the "Dia" family that can be cast to create bursts of light to drive back the darkness. Not especially effective against those of Good alignment, but effective against Evil or Starvia-infected targets. [Light WIS attack 5% with a 100% chance to cause knockback and Burned effect to Evil-aligned or Starvia-infected targets]



Protect: A defensive technique that forms mystical shielding around the White Mage or her allies that responds to all blows dealt against them and increases their protection against damage. This, in turn, makes healing them and maintaining a healthy disposition that much easier. [+4 CON buff on self or others for 2 turns, with a 2-turn cooldown]




Special Attacks (3)

Cure: A healing spell that focuses on one target, magically knitting together wounds in a shower of sparkling light and reinvigorating a subject back to health. Cure is a stronger healing spell but as it focuses on one target at a time it is riskier to cast at the expense of other surrounding targets who might also be getting damaged. [1d8+cha to a single target with 2 turns of cooldown]



Heal: Heal is a wider-ranging spell for recovering health to all targets surrounding the White Mage, but the individual healing strength compared to Cure is weaker as the magic is spread across multiple targets instead. Though weaker, the White Mage can feel reassured that she has treated everyone near her with some relief. [1d5+CHA to the entire party with 3 turns of cooldown]



Blink: This spell creates two illusionary "mirror image" White Mages to confuse enemies and assist the real White Mage in avoiding attacks. The mirror images have 1% HP each and mimic White Mage's movements without actually casting any spells. [When cast, roll d20+WIS. Creates Blink Mage 1 and Blink Mage 2, with 1% HP each, for 3 turns with a 3-turn cooldown. Enemies must beat White Mage's perception skill check on their own WIS to target her, otherwise attacking one of the mirror images instead.]




Final Smash (1)

Life: A powerful White Magic spell for reviving allies back into the fight. Nearby fallen targets (those who have sustained damage up to their HP threshold) who have reverted into their trophy form are immediately brought back to life with 15% of their HP remaining.
