Mission Brief:
Dear Brave Warriors who heed my call,

My Loftwing and I were out on a joyride high above the sea clouds. The sky on that day were an odd shade of grey, as if the morning itself was in morning.
Before either of us had a chance to react, a swarm of dwarfs with wings on their backs burst out of the clouds and ambushed us.
It was not until their leader noticed me on my Loftwing’s back, that he ordered his men stand down and set us free.

After setting us down safely on a floating island, he sincerely apologized for what they almost did. None of them would ever consider harming a human. They were not planning to harm my Loftwing either. As it turns out, it was only a training exercise. He was drilling his troops for something big.
He explained to me that they were Lady Palutena Goddess of Light's royal guard, of which he was captain. This came to me as a quite the surprise, as this captain of the guard was just a kid, with a face as childish as a schoolboy's.

Recently, the goddess they were sworn to protect was battling a fearsome bird of prey as part of a larger mission. Her captain had fallen in battle, but by the time he woke up, she was nowhere to be found.
Now he was rallying her army to find her and slay said beast: the Garuda.

Knowing a thing or two about mythical creatures and the godly pantheon, I feared that this boy and his men were not equipped to take on this beast without divine intervention.
He insisted that they do it by themselves, refusing to tell me why he wouldn't ask anyone for help, as if out of shame. He turned us away and went right back to training.

But just because he won't ask for help does not mean I will not ask for him.
The celestial balance and the fate of the heavens depend on this rescue mission and Palutena's Army will need all the help as it can get.
So please brave warriors, if you are out there, spread your wings and meet me at Crestfallen Castle. It was where they last saw their goddess and it will be the first place they will look.
