Arle opened her eyes to gaze upon the surprise she'd been promised for her birthday. She'd been led to Brightwing Lane by Viridi, who had ever so generously offered to host her a birthday party. Arle's feelings were a bit conflicted. On one hand, she was glad to be able to have a party with her friends. On the other, she hadn't had someone else throw a party for her since... Since... Well--Since she was with her mom! Those memories were rather depressing, a bit too depressing for this birthday party, so she shoved them aside. A bright smile graced her face.

"...You really know what I like, Vivi~" Arle remarked light-heartedly. "In fact, I don't think I could have asked for anything more. Thanks~" she went on rather humbly.

In truth, a curry shop was a luxury in these times. Establishments like these weren't covered under the Life Sphere's guarantee of free food. It wasn't a place Arle could afford to eat very often, and that made it rather special. Even then, there was still the implication that she wasn't expecting presents. Arle awkwardly shuffled where she stood. She normally wasn't very touchy feely, but she took this moment to give Viridi a big if not brief hug. She then moved to run into the curry shop!

The Setting

The humble curry shop is well lit, with many windows lining it's walls. A large set of tables has been pushed together to seat about 12 people in preparation for the party. The shop was empty, save for the staff. It seemed that it was already quite small, so having a party booked at it had reserved all the seats available. There are a few party balloons around, and the strong smell of curry hangs in the air. In the back, a service counter where payments could be made and orders could be placed was present. A solitary koopa appeared to be manning it. She seemed rather anxious, probably because of the crowd.

What to Do

((This is a player driven event. Do what you want. Two things to keep in mind. One, this is in the middle of the life sphere. Party crashers who use this thread as an opportunity to show off how strong they are will likely be escorted out as a trophy. The other thing to consider is that I will not be doing a lot of NPC control. This is a glorified social thread, so feel free to assume control of NPCs if you need them.

Your characters can wander freely between the kitchen and the party area. Simply make it clear when you have left or arrived, preferably using brackets.))

After a couple of minutes Arle entered, two girls marked their entrance of the curry shop. One was nearly brimming with excitement, the other was more controlled, however you could still see a glint of childish wonder in her eyes.

"All righty~! Is everyone ready for a party that'll rock people's socks off?!"

"E-ehehe...I'm not exactly sure..."

Despite the apparent majority using their casual clothing, the two young girls both sported "fancier" versions of their clothing. Whether they filled the fancy quota was up to anyone.

Amitie was using a large-sleeved pink shirt and what appeared to be a blue-mini skirt of sorts...somewhat like those you see with a secretary. Rider's outfit was a aqua green long-sleeved dress (which may I remind you still hid her hands) with a long and somewhat frilly skirt. Of course, both girls soon became a little embarrassed with the fact that they wasted a bit of time dressing themselves up to go neatly to the party while everyone seemed to be going casual.

They probably wouldn't need to care much anymore, because a certain blue-haired woman entered the curry shop with...admittedly a fabulous-looking white evening gown. She would go off her normal note and announce her appearance alongside a noblewoman laughter, but today she...didn't do that. No, instead she went towards Arle, with her face showing...a genuine smile...?! What was this witchcraft?!

"...I'm still confused why you invited me, your rival, out of all people. However, I'll be a fair maiden and let you enjoy this day. ...Happy Birthday, Arle Nadja."

Outside the curry shop, a small blob was watching the place. It seemed to go boom just now. What was with all the bloody noisery, eh?! Normally, he would be inclined to just pop his head in and tell them to lower down the volume, but...a familiar figure managed to slither into his eyes...auburn hair, white shirt, blue dress...blue breastplate...!

Yep, there was no mistaking it! It was Arley! The blob's natural smile grew wider as he let out a hearty laugh in unadulterated happiness.

"So that's where she went, huh?" Ecolo talked to himself, giving off a happy and relieved sigh. "It's been a long since we passed through in space-time! I gotta go say hi!"

Although...before he went to do just that, Ecolo found it better to give a gift to her. Y'know, for meeting again and stuff! Without not much warning, Ecolo zipped through Brightwing Lane in search for something he could give a friend...

    Suddenly as a cyclone of cyan color had instantly appeared in the store, a whirling wind had been whipped up that sent light objects reeling backwards and flying every which way. Just as the force of nature seemed to enter the curry shop, it ended as balloons slowly fell back into place and napkins settled roughly around their original locations. At first the Koopa manning the counter seemed extremely shocked and confused about what had just happened until a shrill ring sounded from the bell on the customer side of the checkout counter.

"I'll have one 'dog to go ma'am." 

    
    A snide and confident voice chimed in a mocking tone as the cyan speedster himself stood at the opposite end counter (albeit slightly shorter than it). The Koopa had to do a double take to make sure her eyes weren't deceiving her. However, when she blinked several more times; there continued to be the charismatic blue hedgehog infamous throughout Li... "S-Sonic the Hedgehog?! I did not realize we would be expecting you, sir." The Koopa stuttered, still shocked at the fact that Sonic would randomly show up at her shop like this out of the blue.

    "It's cool lady, no need for formalities. I'm blue, true, and make that dog two!" He casually rhymed before placing a large amounts of rings on the counter and then taking a seat at one of the tables. "*Whistle* This place always so vamped or is there a party goin' on?" Sonic asked to nobody in particular as he laid back in the chair and started taking notice of the balloons and various decorations. Apparently his one-liner was actually perfectly appropriate for once, yet still oblivious to how he had just crashed Arle's birthday party.
   
    Finally taking notice of Arle and Viridi, Sonic gave them a thumbs up before folding his arms behind his head. "How ya doin? Name's Soni-" He cut short in the middle of his sentence as he spied a certain emerald haired maiden that Sonic hadn't laid eyes on in a while. "Hey Rider! Long time no see." In a moment Sonic was on his feet and greeting his old friend. "Nice threads by the way; stylish~! So who's your buddy?" Sonic quickly shifted from comment to question as he started to converse with Rider.

[Maverick Hunter Zero]

It certainly was a good time to get the groove going as a certain purple haired Half-Genie entered the scene, Shantae was merely the oddball of the bunch because of her Bedlah Babe look, but knowing full well, that she was freaking modest about it. the party wasn't even at its midpoint but she decided to dance, her dancing actually having won over a huge -nay- MASSIVE croud when she unleashed her ultimate{seriously; who knew that citizens of the MUSHROOM KINGDOM could get their groove on, especially like that?!}, this also proved that there were people who literally LOVED to dance.


"Now this is a good place for a party to be staged, I bet there's a dance floor somewhere so more people can enjoy dancing." Shantae said, actually recognising Arle from before, that mission the two of them did alongside Glover to get the crouds entertained was definately one for the books, even Shantae's convincing of the opposing group completely caught the croud by suprise and her Belly Dancing routine actually helped her win the entertainment challenge aspect of that mission. "Hi, Arle. Fancy meeting you here of all places." Shantae called as she started doing her streching before actually dancing

[Coolshaymin]

Kirby was on a nearby building looking at the curry shop... It smelled really nice coming from that store and Kirby could feel himself craving whatever party food they were preparing there. He was killing him not to go there right now just to try some... okay, maybe a bit more than some... A good healthy portion of a fairly large size of whatever they were making. A girl told him not to though for some reason... Something about someone disliking food... What did that have to do with him? Or did she smell like food? His mind may be too fogged over by the scent to remember right.

Kirby was momentarily distracted as he smelled... Some delicious scent. It was like curry heaven or something. He looked down and noticed the girl from earlier with another girl... Was the other girl the one that smelled like curry? Did she have food on her? Maybe she was nice enough to share!... But what was he going to do about the mean one? Kirby sat back for a moment as he contemplated on obtaining food without getting into trouble... Which he may just throw caution to the wind but worth giving them time to divide.

Viridi walked Arle to the party. She kind of had to pick her up anyway. It was a good thing Arlon was able to get them to let them set up a party here. With her current reputation thanks to a blue blur she would of probably been told to just use the Sanctum. Fortunately Arlon did not really have that issue... And she did not know if that would of happened. She just did not feel like picking a fight over something so stupid.

"Of course, Arle. It would be bad of me if I did not make a decent party that appealed to your tastes. What kind of relationship would that be? I will go check on the chefs," Viridi replied to Arle before heading that way.

Glover meanwhile was already at the Curry Shop before everyone else. Probably did not notice the glove that was there ahead of time. He did not really have anything better to do and it's not like he could miss the party of his younger master by unexpected circumstance. Of course, he was mostly just batting his ball against the wall given the fact he did not really eat... or drink. Being a magic glove kind of erased those needs.

He looked over as his ball brushed back against him as people were finally entering. Glover jumped onto his ball when he noticed Arle and Shantae. His fellow stars were both here! It was like a dream come true of the overly famous glove. Glover gave a call that was not really understandable with a wave and thumbs up to show his care.

[Dragon Knight Volga]

Volga flew through the Life Sphere. Although he wasn't one for parties, he did enjoy leaving destruction in his wake. The Dragon Knight knew he wouldn't be able to cause too much destruction, but enough to disrupt the party was fine by him. Volga landed on the roof of the curry shop. As he did so, he saw a little pink blob on the roof of a building nearby. The draconic man kept his eyes on the blob and held his Dragon Spear at the ready.

[Mari]

Arle's gaze followed Viridi as she meandered off to take care of something in the back room, perhaps to talk to the chef personally..? She wondered what the other was planning, but was just as curious to see who actually showed up. She'd sent only a few personal invitations to some of her good friends--or at least, the ones who had shown up on Li--but for the most part she was honestly hoping to make a new friend or two while she was here. Having a party surrounded by people who were hopefully not just trying to crash it sounded amazing! A bit better than a small, private birthday anyway. To her surprise, Glover was already there! Arle ran over to him and crouched down in front of him, glowing with appreciation. She totally moved in for the handshake. Something about shaking hands with a hand never ceased to entertain her. "Glad you could make it! Say, you don't like curry--do you?" Arle asked, entertaining the question of whether the magic glove could even partake of the food.

Her first guests brought a smile to her face as she recognized their faces. "Hi Amitie, Rider!" she called out, greeting the two girls cheerily. "You guys got new outfits and everything. You look--" Arle began, only for Rulue to steal the show by showing up in an evening gown that briefly stole Arle's breathe away. For a moment she was speechless. Rulue... Rulue did not need to play dress up to look beautiful. The moment passed however and Arle promptly pretended she hadn't stood there looking shocked for a moment.

"What's a birthday party without some familiar faces to celebrate with? Thanks for coming, Rulue." Arle replied, slightly embarassed at having been put on the spot like that.

In truth, she was very much hoping Rulue would return the favor this year. Yet, for now, she was just happy the other had deigned to show up. It was all she could have asked for. Arle was so distracted by Rulue's entrance that she didn't even notice another, far more spooky familiar face lurking outside.

Arle briefly acknowledged Sonic with a smile before he was promptly distracted by Rider. Huh.

Finally, another familiar face showed up! This time, it was a more recent friend, one from Li itself. (...) Arle giggled at what she promptly assumed was Shantae playing dumb, smiling brightly at the other. "Had to show up for my birthday party sooner or later--So I figured why not today?" she joked in return.

Meanwhile, Jester Guy found himself at the door of the curry shop. He could see the festivities from inside already, and could likely be seen if one was paying attention to many windows and what was going on outside of them. He reached to open the door but stopped just short of grabbing it as if he were playing a particularly impromptu mime act, an invisible causing his hand to recoil. In reality, he seemed to be very hesitant to enter. After a long moment's deliberation, a voice called out from behind him.

"...May I?" an annoyed Raffine asked, apparently having been waiting for Jester Guy to man up and open the door for several seconds now.

This prompted Jester Guy to spring into action, quickly moving to open the door and hold it open for Raffine. He performed a bow as he did this, flattering her with his kindness. "...Why thank you!" Raffine relented, stepping inside. So flattered was Raffine that she didn't even notice when Jester Guy declined to follow her.

Raffine, much like Rulue, had deigned to wear a flowing gown. Normally she might not have been inclined to show up the birthday girl, knowing that Arle almost would almost certainly be wearing the same outfit she wore every other day of the year, but in this case she also knew Arle probably didn't care. However, as Raffine looked around she found herself feeling a tad alienated. ...Where were the boys? Tch. In hindsight, it figured that a girl's party would consist mostly of girls, but she couldn't help but feel just a bit disappointed. She did observe one person in particular, however: Rulue. A smile graced her face. She would be pretty good company if she could catch her alone.

Meanwhile, outside, Jester Guy sat down in front of the shop with his enchanted mirror in hand. It was rumored to display a representation of one's true self in the reflection. He seemed to gaze deeply into it, as if searching for it for answers. It yielded nothing.

"Heya, Arle! Happy Birthday~!"

"E-ehe, yeah, Happy Birthday...!"

Almost as soon as the other two finished wishing Arle happiness, a suddenly gust of heavy wind blasted through the curry shop. While Amitie and Rulue were taken aback by how sudden this was, Rider already had a clue who just entered the shop, so she remained calm, something Amitie took notice. "R-rider, what's going on here?" she asked to the green-haired 'imp', to which Rider just turned and replied with...

"...Relax, Ammy. It's just a friend of mine!"

True to Rider's expectations, the figure of the somewhat chubby hedgehog was made visible to the naked eye, ordering a chili dog to the clerk. It wouldn't take too long for him to notice him and Rider were in the same room...oh look, he just noticed! Rider casually beamed up a smile. "Hello, Sonic. It's nice to see you again...!" she said to the hedgehog as she tugged Amitie's left arm. "I found my friend...! U-um, Amitie, meet Sonic The Hedgehog...!"

With no input delay, Amitie quickly offered a handshake to Sonic. "Nice to meet'cha, Sonic! As Rider said, my name's Amitie, and my dream is to become a wonderful magic user~!"

Rulue just sort of stared at Sonic before turning around to face Arle again, who...seemed a little embarrassed by something. Why the embarrassment? It was her party, she should've been...well...the way she's always been? She sighed. "...Hey, don't mention it. I'll be honest, I'm glad you invited me, despite...you know." Rulue said, not really wanting to touch that subject. It was basically asking for a fight. She then looked at Arle's costume and...pondered a bit.

"Arle, I'm honestly getting worried about the fact you are not changing clothes. I've been thinking of scheduling an event for you and me to go around and shop for clothes. How's that sound for you?" Rulue offered as she played a bit with her hair.

None of the three actually acknowledged the other guests just yet. I guess they were just too focused on the birthday girl and the hedgehog who made a big entrance.

As Ecolo came back with a small giftbox (and a bowtie and tuxedo), he noticed a clown staring at a weird red mirror. The space-time traveler stopped and just...shot a weird look at the masked jester as he...opened the door and...heard his stomach grumble. Seconds of silence.

"...I can't greet Arley while I'm hungry! She needs me to be all ears!" Ecolo said all of a sudden to himself. "Oh well! Least she's in a curry shop!"

Ecolo began entering inside before turning to the Jester Guy. "This is how to open a door. Dummy!" He said to him(?) as he closed the door, officially entering the shop. Before he could tackle hug Arle however, he had a stomach to fill in. He went to the clerk and lightly pounded his hands at the table. "I'll have the spiciest curry you have in this shop, kay? Don't hold back!"

"R-right away, sir...!" the Koopa said as she went on to the kitchen...while Ecolo let a certain amount of coins rest in the table. Without much else to it, he quietly redirected himself to the big table, twiddling his thumbs while he waited for the curry.

    Sonic smirked at Rider before once again disappearing to be found patting her on the back. "See, I told ya everything'd turn out cool." Sonic remarked before once again blurring over back in front of her and Amitie. "Still what are the odds that we'd both head to chow town at this hour?" Nevertheless, Sonic had the chili-gods in his stomach to appease so he gave Rider one more salute before revving up his legs to go back to waiting at the table. "Ooh, I'd love to stay and chat but I gotta juice!"

    Propping his feet up on the table with his arms crossed as Sonic waited for his Chili-dogs, a figure caught his eye. Some sort of weirdly dressed Jester person was staring into some sort of mirror as he hung right outside the door to the shop. It only took a blink of an eye for Sonic to be on the other side of the shop and at the door to get a closer look.

"What's up, Jester dude!" Sonic called before propping open the doorway while inviting "Jester-dude" into the shop. "You wanna come inside or sulk and brood like a bogus raccoon all day?"

    Not waiting to see whether "Jester-dude" came in or not, Sonic once more returned to the table to wait for his food as he was growing more antsy and more hungry by the second; the hedgehog just couldn't stay still for even a second in anticipation for his favorite chow!

[Maverick Hunter Zero]

"It's not exactly a party without friends, so I decided to come and enjoy the fun with you, Glover, and anyone else who came." Shantae said, walkong over to arle as she scanned the area, thankfully the Jester was outside unless he crashed in with the intent to make the party a train wreck, she easily felt to others but they werent as immediate a threat to the party as they would be to each otherunless they ended up brawling in the party itself.

other than that, Shantae was pleased to see her friends, and glad to have been able to come, hopefully those who would attempt to crash the party would know not to be a pain in the ass about it otherwise they would be in such deep trouble.

with all that out of the way, none of the party goers realised that a truly fell wind was blowing, the entire party was being observed by a very formidible adversary, the evil this being had could make the antics of even Hades look tame, yet he was in the Astral Plane, keeping an eye on those inside the building, before he decided to make his presence known to those outside by coming out of his Hiding place and giving no indication of him wanting to get into a brawl with them unless they instigated it.

"Hopefully this won't be as lost a cause as trying to wait for an opponent in the arena." the monstrous being said as he flapped his wings to take flight, holding a distinct presence of actually being an intimidating bastard regardless of who he would face. He was taller than both Volga and the jester, and despite what one might think, Kirby would be utterly DWARFED by Gargos due to him being much smaller than the demonic god of Killer Instinct.

[Coolshaymin]

Glover tilted his head at Arle questioningly... Well, tilted his body slightly considering the main part was both. Glover then held his 'hands' out and attempted to emulate a shrug. He never really got much chance to try and partake in food really. He was kind of unsure where it would even go. He was a glove and did not really have much inside him for that... Whether or not his mouth is real is debatable.

Glover then looked to Shantae and jumped onto his ball on one finger and balanced for a second. He was attempting to show that he agreed though it was lackluster. He stayed in that position for a moment as he watched Rulue... Was she insulting the girl mage's wardrobe? Why, as he is now bounded to her, he is technically part of that and that is insulting! If only he could show this stuckup girl...

Idea! Glover jumped off his ball and poked at Arle's hand. He looked up at her face inbetween pokes. It would seem that he... wanted her to put him on? Maybe he wanted to show her the fashion is more than appearance... Or maybe he has more meaning to it. It was hard to tell from or express for a glove that was barely capable of communication.

Kirby meanwhile looked on in hunger at the store the girl entered. He really wanted something to eat right now... He looked at the Jester for a moment that sat outside... Why was he moping away from the food?... And why was that knight guy staring at him?

... And why was there some giant gargoyle thing now. Kirby looked around at the other people and tilted his head in confusion. He did not really say anything since he was a Star Warrior of few words normally but his mind quickly went back to the shop when he noticed the door open. Kirby quickly hopped down and ran past the Hedgehog into the shop. Fortunately mean plant girl seemed to not be in this room. The pink ball jumped up and climbed onto the tables and looked around to try and see if any food was set out. He did not really pay attention to the guests yet as his focus was on satisfying himself first, meeting new people second.

SPLAT!

A pigeon slammed into the window of the Curry shop. A really big pigeon. Wait...it wasn't a pigeon, it was Pit! He scraped himself off the window and dusted himself off. refixing his tunic and realigning his crown. Good as new. He hustled around to the front door. and burst through the door.
"Hey there, sorry to keep you all waiting!" He adressed his fashionable lateness "You would've believe it! There was a whole herd of Soufees on the way over here and I just had to-" Pit explained himself before his eyes found Arle in the room. "Heeey! Pit ran over to her with two gifts in hand, one was a Drink of the Gods wrapped in ribbon and the other's shape was hidden under it's wrapping. "Happy Birthday!" Pit cheered at Arle before stripping on a stray spill of soda.

Pit lost his footing and frantically slid toward Arle, only to divert his momentum into a breakdancing spin, stopping in a stylish position perfect for handing Arle her present from the floor.
"Nailed it." he sighed in relief.

[Dragon Knight Volga]

Volga remained where he was as he continued to look at the pink blob. However, things soon became interesting for him. The Dragon Knight turned to face the large gargoyle that appeared. Although the pink blob hurried inside the curry shop at the first opportunity, Volga remained on the roof. He was unsure of what the gargoyle's intentions were.

[Mari]

"Thanks Rider. Amitie. I'm really glad you cold both make it." Arle replied, glowing a bit. "I hope both of you lIke curry. I haven't actually eaten here before, but I'm assuming it's their specialty~!" Arle explained.

The mage offered Rulue her best smile in turn. Their rivalry would have to be put on hold, at least for a day, because she was far more interested in the party at hand. "You'll always get an invitation! It'd be pretty rude not to~" Arle reassured the other rather light-heartedly. It might seem to be a rather unremarkable comment, but it was made in the context of two girls who had a tendency to fight a lot. One could question how far Arle's words went. How many times could Rulue try and beat her up before the invitation stopped succeeding? ...Did she actually mean it when she said always? It called back to a time where not inviting a person of regal status to a party was a grave insult. Arle's blissful mood was briefly cut short however when Rulue commented on her clothes.

On one hand, she was thoroughly embarassed by the implication that she was wearing the same clothes every day. On the other, Rulue wasn't... wrong. She hadn't exactly had the option to take her wardrobe with her when she was dropped into the appocolypse. She silently wondered if Rulue was actually understating how 'concerned' she was. She also kind of liked the idea of going shopping with the other. Perhaps if anyone else had made these comments she would have been quite angry, but Rulue? She knew fashion. She knew Arle. "Ehehehe... I guess it has been a long time, hasn't it?" Arle admitted rather quietly. "That sounds... fun, though. Maybe we could go out tomorrow?" Arle offered, hoping nobody else would pick up on this conversation.

So distracted was she that she didn't even notice Ecolo enter the shop.

Arle would finally turn her attention over to Shantae and Glover. "You've got the right idea. I thought about a private party, but I figured this would be more fun." the mage replied as she turned to Glover. A giggle escaped her as she took notice of the other's shenanigans. He wanted her to wear him? It seemed like an odd time for that, but who was she to object? Perhaps it was a form of affection or bonding. Glover was, after all, a sentient glove. Arle would scoop Glover up and slip him onto her hand, showing off the glove to Rulue ever so proudly. "Well, I guess oNE part of my wadobe has changed. It's a shame I don't have a matching glove to go with him though..." Arle mused aloud. She'd come across several magical white gloves throughout her journey, but none of them had had kinds of their own.

At that moment, however, she became aware of a gargoyle acting ... odd. This concerned her for a moment, but she dismissed the thought. Nobody was going to attack a random curry shop. That was just silly! ...Right? Thankfully, she was distracted by Pit's antics. She once again couldn't help but giggle at his clumsy steps, but was startled when a gift was presented to her. She wasn't used to getting many birthday gifts. "...For me?" she asked, accepting the offered gift. The mage grinned goofily. "Thank you, Pit! I'm glad you could come." Arle replied. Notably, this was the first time they were meeting and she had not been given Pit's name. ...Whether Viridi was responsible or Palutena was up for debate.

Meanwhile Raffine made her way back towards the kitchen, stopping just long enough to speak to Arle. "Well hello, Ms. Arle. I hopened you're enjoying your birthday. Ms. Amitie, Ms. Rider. ...Fighting Queen Rulue." Raffine offered in greetings, choosing to greet the other's she knew while she was there. Noteworthily, she didn't take any shots at Amitie and deigned to refer to Rulue using an unusually respectful title. It seemed to convey a certain fondness. She would then move to go deposit her own gift in the kitchen, for later.

Meanwhile, Jester Guy put away his mirror and reluctantly got up to head inside. He seemed very anxious, judging by the way he held himself. He shouldn't be here... Someone was bound to object to his presence. They'd have to be stupid not to! ...Right?

Rider let out a small giggle as Sonic just let himself have his sweet time with his chili dogs. Amitie scratched her head in confusion as to what to think of the hedgehog in himself, but that was certainly a meeting she won't forget. Maybe Rider could help them find decent footing in a stable friendship. Some silence was heard from the two...until Amitie broke the ice.

"Let's go see if we can get sandwiches!"

"Okay~!"

Before they could turn their attention to eating, however, they saw none other than fellow student Raffine, who dressed so elegantly as well for a party of someone she...quite frankly wasn't that close, mayhaps? Well, she greeted them, it would be rude to not reply. Both girls waved at her in acknowledgement of her existence, Amitie doing the most frantic waving while Rider was mostly reserved.
"Wonder why did she go to the kitchen." Amitie muttered after Raffine entered said kitchen.
"...Let's not think much about that, okay...?" Rider 'replied'.
"Okay, let's go get those sammiches~!"

Rulue already had acknowledged Raffine's existence, sending her a small nod and a wink. ...Probably her way to say 'I'll try to talk to you later'. She turned to Arle, who was...embarrassed. The Fighting Queen's face was one of confusion at this point. Did she accidentally hurt her feelings? Jeez, the one time she's actually trying to be nice to her rival and it backfires horribly on her. What a way to start off her birthday. "...Look, Arle, it's just an invitation, you don't need to go if you---"

And Arle just answered with what seemed like an yes. ...Well, that worked better than expected.

"...Tomorrow sounds fine." Rulue replied, sounding happy, yet also surprised.

Not two seconds later, she saw a...living glove poking Arle. Great, as if this world wasn't weird already. Before she could even try to talk about that to Arle, however, the magical girl grabbed it and placed it on her hand, showing it off with a rather prideful expression. Rulue stared at Arle weirdly before she visibly attempted to hold up laughter. "Okay, okay, you win. As long as that glove doesn't try to strangle me, we'll be even."

The space-time traveler waited for a while on the table until his curry arrived. Ecolo giddily went quickly to sccop a bit up before he noticed the door opening...with the jester entering the scene. Ecolo laughed to himself with the prospect that the jester was unable to open doors. He shrugged before eating a bit of the spiciest curry available. 

The blob took a while to savor the curry before he could give a verdict...and then....
He let out a loud laugh.

"You know, I ate a lot of curry in my life, and no matter the spice, they are always mild to me! Guess I'm doomed to have the spiciest curries being just mild annoyances." He said to himself.

Ecolo looked around the place while he ate more of the curry. Such vibrancy! His eyes had a glint of childlike excitement as everything in the curry shop seemed to be brimming with life...though something seemed to be missing. And Ecolo knew what he could do to spice things up. "Y'know, a curry competition would keep things interesting! See who resists the most spice? Sounds great! But karaoke also sounds great, everybody singing songs they don't know, it's kinda funny. Oh! What about a dance floor?" He started talking to himself...
