Vaati; ► WORDS ◄ ► Never got to finish this old thread so I'm just gonna post this one thread to show the outcome of this stage before moving on. I hope it's a decent read. ◄ ► Relaxed at the moment. ◄ | » July, 14th 2014 The battle between Marth and Vaati, fire versus wind, swordsmanship versus magic. The battle has been strong, power and devastating, the mostly destroyed ground proving the matter to be true, and the person in charge of officiating the match is none other than the Lightning American Lt. Surge. Early on in the battle the referee called Vaati a 'princess', clearly a jab at the male's effeminate appearance, before sending out his Electivire to keep a close eye on the battle. So in an attempt to launch himself at Marth in an almost lightning quick fashion, as well as getting some revenge for the 'princess' comment, the pale skinned villain did the unthinkable and actually used his Electric Pulse on the Electivire, effectively attacking the referee in the process, and use the explosion to fly directly at the Hero-King. However the pulse didn't hurt the electric yeti at all, actually speeding up the creature instead of hurting it. A fact that definitely peaked the Wind Mage's interest... September, 22nd 2015 So after twelve months of researching Pokemon - through the library and summoning small eye bats to stalk and watch any Pokemon Trainers that live in the Life Sphere - a month of preparations and a month of quietly, as well as warily, travelling across the toxic lands of LI to arrive at the bay known as Pokemon Cove. The only place to find wild Pokemon in the entire lane of LI. "At last I am here..." went through the effeminate male's mind as he coughed lightly. "But, considering that Pokemon Cove is supposed to be the closest area to the point of essence, how come this place is inhabited by these creatures? Could the Pokemon - at least some of them - have some kind of resistance, like an inner-body chemical, against the Starvia?" he wondered as three, relatively small, pinkish purple rodents with big ears, big spines on their backs and a horn on their foreheads. "Hm...if the books are true then these must be Nidoran Females. Wait, the females aren't purple...right?" he puzzled for a moment as the Wind Mage changes into his bat form for two reasons, the first of which is so that he could fly up in the air and spy on these Nidoran Males without being spotted while the second reason is so he could blend into the area as much as possible. After all, unless you're like a Pokemon expert or trainer, how can you tell that an eye bat is any different from a Pokemon? "Of course! Only the male ones are so feminine in colour. Now...remember what I've read...yes, of course! Either male or female these Pokemon are Poison types and not only will their poison help me deal with any pesky 'hero' but, if I remember correctly, their final forms are also Ground types and that'll definitely help me get vengeance on that stupid blonde man if he ever gets in my way again..." he monologues to himself out of habit, believing that it'll be safe from detection up in the sky. July, 18th 2016 Ten months has passed and throughout the entire time the feminine looking mage watched the Pokémon, observed their behaviours and have taken note of anything important that he should need to know. What? If a hero can wait seven years to save the world than a villain can wait almost a year to accomplish the first step in his vastly detailed and amazingly hyped plan to do something hardly anyone has ever succeeded at beforehand. "So...if I've gotten my facts right...the only way to properly capture Pokémon are using these 'Pokéballs'..." went through Vaati's mind as, sitting on a rock over-watching most the cover, the wind mage is looking at a couple of red and white tiny spheres he 'commandeered' when a random Pokémon trainer wasn't paying attention. "I click on the button and they expand. Then I throw them...sounds like a pathetically easy method to get minions to do my bidding..." arrogantly went through the lavender caped wizard's mind as he smirks before turning into his bat form and flying down to gain a couple minions... Only to get practically stomped into submission whenever he encountered a strong Pokémon like Vigoroth, Rhydon and Snorlax...sure he managed to fight back and take them down...but they reduce to next to useless to him and now the overconfident wind mage is down to a final two balls. He can't afford to be too cocky. "I need two Pokémon. Or else these ten months have been for nothing!" Angrily went through his mind and, for the briefest of moments, it looked almost like he was going to crush the balls in the palm of his hand...until... "A Nidoran Male? And a Nidoran Female? Not exactly as strong as I wanted but maybe the weaker they are the easier they are to catch," he mentally decided as, desperation in his eyes, the wind mage dives out of from the bushes he was "FINALLY I CAUGHT SOMETHING!" he gloriously shouted at the top of his lung, even throwing his fist up in cartoony celebration, before spotting a nearby Nidoqueen and Nidoking approaching him...maybe they're the parents of the Pokémon he just snagged up? Well either way, either heading back in the direction of the Life Sphere or fleeing for his life from Pokémon's angriest parents, Vaati came for two Pokémon and he managed to capture two Pokémon. But while capturing them is one thing, training them to become his powerful weapons is a completely different matter altogether. |
