It was a peaceful day inside Life Sphere. The shields were working fine, the resources were good, and the library was one of the welcome distractions from the outside world. After Cosplay's mission with Shaymin, she decided might need to learn how to read. That was what had brought her to the library of all places she could be (and would rather be than here). After all, what happened if all her allies in one her future missions couldn't read either? It wasn't like trained Pokemon needed to know how to read before. The best she could do were either gestures or draw.

Now she found herself sitting in a corner silently staring at the pages of the open book she held trying in vain to recognize any of the strange symbols. It looked more as if she was trying to stare through the book. She was beginning to grow frustrated. Soon the yellow Pokemon dropped the book and began rubbing her temples to alleviate the headache the whole ordeal. She had no idea that trying to learn how to read would be this difficult, and the language barriers probably didn't help.

From another isle of the library, the failed attempts to stifle giggling echoed across the room. These chuckling fits were coming from an angel. A youth with wings, clad in a regal white toga with metal cuffs, a pair of sandals, and upon his head he wore a golden laurel crown. He seemed to be dressed quite importantly for someone with such a childish face. A face made even more childish by his laughter.
These were the clothes you'd expect the captain of someone's guard to be wearing, not some lad in the library. Surely this winged boy was garbed well beyond his age or status.
Maybe the kid was just playing dress-up for the day? Pretend to have a career he'd dream to pursue when he grew up?

It was hard to explain his appearance otherwise. After all, he was holding a book about Greek Mythology. Perhaps he was fantasizing about the adventures he'd have if he were among these great legendary heroes? The daring do's he'd have done if he too were one?


...He was laughing at the paintings of Greek gods and goddesses who were nude.

Cosplay's ears perked up as she heard the sound of giggling. With her sensitive ears, she easily heard it from across the room. She carefully placed the book she had been trying to read in her bag before walking toward it to investigate.She soon spotted the angel giggling at the content of one. Curiously, she scaled a nearby bookshelf to look over his shoulder. When she saw what he was looking at, she sighed in disappointment before hopping back onto the floor.

"(Humans. I'll never understand them,)" she muttered, disregarding the flightless angel's wings. After all, some humans seem to have pointed ears. As she swung the strap of her bag over her shoulder, a thought occurred to her. Wait, that one had pictures... she realized. The one she had been trying to read was a novel, which lacked pictures everywhere except the cover. "(Hm...)"

She tapped her chin thoughtfully as she mused the idea of looking at a book with pictures, and then using said pictures to figure out the words.

“Man these guys are so funny!” Pit giggled to himself, only noticing Cosplay as she hopped back down to the floor.
“Hey you, Pikachu!” Pit beconned Cosplay, wanting to let her in on the joke “You have Got check these pictures out!” he scurried over to her to show her pages of his book. “They're Hilarious!”

"Look! They were playing Hide and Seek, she hid in a clam shell, but then he found her and blew her dress off!” Pit snickered immaturely, enthusiastically turning the page to another picture.

"And she's going swimming...with a Cow!" Pit shook his head, chuckling at the absurdity before taking another look. "Say, why isn't that guy wearing a bathing suit? That's against regulations. What a rebel.” he  shrugged and flipped to another page.

“Oh Oh! And this guy just wants to walk his dogs but Nooo~, she won't let him! She want's him to stay and be naked with her!” Pit slapped his knee cackling.
"Man, the Greek gods sure a Riot!" he wiped his brow, trying to reclaim his breath.
