*This is a custom character
Character Name:
Douglas MacKlide
Home Planet/Origin:
Earth variation 88-F9D
Preferred Motto:
"Young bikers pick a destination and go, old bikers pick a direction and ride."
Appearance: Standing a strong 6 feet 5 inches, Douglas is a big, mean mother Hubbard with a penchant for looking mean and acting meaner when he needs to. A less than spry looking individual, but nowhere near 'old'. He's blond haired, blue eyed, and strong featured for a man with as white of skin as he's got. His broad shoulders couple well with his leather jacket, tanned and stained jeans, thick, black boots, gloves, and his red undershirt, giving off the true biker vibe. On his back is a sling, holding his trusty shotgun, an older model, but still great to ride with. On his belt-loop, hooked on the end near his pants button is a chain hook, the back being in his pocket, and coming back out to latch onto the back of his pants. His demeanor is rather intimidating, daunting even, but seeing past it can prove to give a valuable ally.
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
History On Li: Following his path, as described below, as an interdimensional traveler, Douglas continued to try to find his homeland. He warped, however, into a desolate, blanket world that merged into Li not too long ago. This barren wasteland was home to a sort of modern-wild-west hybrid culture, many acres upon acres upon acres were covered in small bars, taverns, and other such establishments a wandering vagabond like himself would enjoy. He made a bet with a particular fellow, one who's description only met "a man in an edgy looking parka"; beat him in a race, get a sweet looking eagle head to place right on the front fender. Lose, and he loses his life. Of course, after the race was over, the crowd was stunned when Douglas rode off, a sweet looking, diamond Eagle head perched proudly upon the frontal fender.
Storied History: Born in Colorado, Douglas was a very simple man, with very simple goals in life, his motorcycle was one such goal. Douglas did not start with the bike he has now, for he's gone through many bikes in his lifetime of riding. As he lived on, and began to grow older, he joined and was excommunicated from several biker gangs, one such gang being known as the Dust Devils, more of bandits than actual bikers, they sought to terrorize supply caches and the like in the wastes to earn a few free dollars. Douglas single-handedly eliminated this entire gang on the whim of getting back home to Colorado from Washington, so he could visit his dear, old mother. As fate would have it, the Dust Devils had hidden her away, far far away. The poor, broken biker set out on a one-man crusade, which soon lost it's title of one-man by meeting up with several friends along the way. His reformed Dust Devils was to be known as the New Disciples, running strong and hard to try and recover who Douglas preached as the "one true mama to me". She was dead when he'd gotten there. Striking a deal with the devil, so to speak, a demon king named Aloysius made an agreement with the biker; Douglas was given the power to upgrade his bike to ungodly strength, 200 horsepower, which literally tore apart cracked asphalt in its wake, and allowed him to travel interdimensionally to seek a new home. In return for his pact with the king of demons from his world, Douglas agreed to give his soul to him when he died, so that the king may finally have his due, and travel abroad with a loyal champion. Of course, Douglas always has a plan, and set forth his most trusted allies to guard his bike when he died, so that even he himself couldn't touch it.
Stats:
Primary Attacks(3):
- A lil taste of Shotty: A powerful buckshot from his lever action shotty to put foes in place. It has five shots before reload, but can be reloaded relatively fast. The spread is tight enough to guarantee all pellets landing regardless of distance to his foe. It has intense recoil, and the lever must be pulled, requiring an extra action to use. Considering this is Li, and not his world, the buckshot simply is an impact damaging weapon, feeling as if each shot is just shoving and punching, rather than an actual gun. {15% Damage}
- Knuckle Dusting: Give 'em a lickin' of bare handed brawling with these brass knuckles! Close range and concussive, each swing has a chance to stun, but diminishes stun chance with each consecutive use per turn. {3% damage, 20% stun chance on first strike, 10% on second strike}
- RRROOOAAAD RAAAAAGE!: Ever been so mad that you wanted to headbutt a man? Douglas gets this way in combat! The more damage exchanged between him and his foe within the last turn powers up this hard hitting headbutt, and stuns if the damage he and his opponent dealt combined exceeds 25%. {10% damage + 1/4 x Total damage taken and dealt last turn and this turn to a max of 7%, 40% chance to stun, guaranteed stun when damage taken/dealt exceeds 25%
Special Attacks(3):
- 200 Horsepower, baby!: Douglas summons his mighty bike to ride upon! A 200 Horsepower, low down, gorilla bar monster that roars as if it were a lion! While on the bike, any attack that lands is guaranteed to stun Douglas for a turn, and automatically applies debuffs, it locks out all other attacks besides A lil taste of Shotty, Knuckle Dusting, and Catch a Ride, sucker!, and reduces all attack rolls by 2. This is the cost for having all dodge rolls reduced by five points when he rides for five turns!
- Gibback!: A violent kick that sends foes backwards! If it hits, he can potentially knock a foe over, and if used right, can even negate a melee attack! {5% damage, once ever 5 turns can be used in place of a dodge to negate a melee attack. Must roll higher than the melee attack to negate, and can be used without the effect when done during the 5 turn cooldown of the auxiliary effect.}
- Step in Line, Bucko: Throwing knives, everyone loves 'em! When hit, the foe is inflicted with "Owie!", which reduces DEX rolls by 1, and stacks only three times. Each use lowers the debuff from 100% chance to 50%, then to 25% {3% damage}.
Ultimate Attack(1):
- Catch a Ride, sucker!: A chain, a leg, and a bike. Three things combined that are deadly in execution. While on his bike, or upon using this skill, Douglas chains a foe to his bike, and rides with them in tow. While doing so, the foe is immobilized by the chain, forcing them to take 12% damage for 4 turns during the skill, and have their dodge rolls reduced by -2, unless their multiplier is +2 or higher.
Allies/Friends: The New Disciples
Enemies/Rivals: Aloysius, the Demon King
Any Other Information: Loves to cook, recall memories from home, and ride abroad. His helmet for riding is a bronze-colored, skull-like helmet, with two large frontal canines attached to the top row of teeth on the visor, where two eye holes are filled with the glass needed to protect his face. The words "mama's boy" are etched into the handle of his shotgun. He also uses his above average charisma to not only persuade, but intimidate those he wishes as well.
