A small beach off the shore of the Pokemon Cove stood in tropical glory. It was not that far off but a lot of it's areas seemed completely submerged so no one has searched it. That is until DK began a search of the islands that were familiar to him since he went to take down the Snowmads. Giant ruin like tikis laid scattered on the distance islands that laid around. In the waters laid hidden the entrance to the submerged ruins that were the first part of their trek.

Donkey Kong stood at the edge of the beach and looked down into the crystal like water. He had no idea how it was so pure while his tie moved with the sea breeze. That did not matter though as he was confident this was where some of his bananas ended up. He had a sense for these kinds of things and he was curious if the Golden Bananas were here too.

That will wait though as his sea buddies have not met up yet for this expedition. Donkey Kong reached behind him and pulled out a... banana... Where was he keeping that thing exactly? Despite whatever strange hammerspace he had, Donkey Kong opened the banana with ease and took a bite. He had very few bananas left over from the raid so he took a moment to savor this one as he waited.

Klug walked up to the large tie-wearing ape and tapped its shoulder. "Excuse me... Mr. Ape..." The boy said, slightly confused. "Can you speak? And if so, where did you obtain that necktie?" Klug looked at the gorilla half expecting and answer and half expecting his demise.

Woo! Beach trip! PAC-MAN ran across the sand, kicking it up behind him as he flew towards the water. Now this is what he needed. A good old fashioned trip to the beach. Pull out a few chairs, some ice cold drinks, striped umbrella, all the necessary things. Not that he could do that right now but he still made the best of the moment, taking in the fresh air compared back to the Life Sphere.

In a gloved mitt lay his red flippers. They hadn't been used in quite some time. Not since back the Toc-Man incident. Ugh, sharks. There was plenty of swimming with those. Hopefully this time it would be a more peaceful swim. Pac dropped to his bottom and slipped on his flippers. They conveniently slipped on right over his normal boots. It made his feet seem a bit larger than usual but it didn't bother him. Once he got them on, he looked over at the others who had come out for the waves. The guy dressed in purple seemed pretty spiffy. The gorilla had been enjoying a snack that PAC-MAN couldn't help but eye. His gaze was caught for a short time before he shook it off and scratched the back of his head, feeling a bit odd. The ball gave them a wave before standing up and looking out upon the aquatic temple.

Donkey Kong nearly dropped his banana when Klug surprised him. The banana went into the air for a moment before Donkey Kong scrambled to catch it. Luckily for the curious human the ape managed to catch it before it fell into the water. No one would like to be the reason the Kong lost a banana to the depths.

He looked over and stared the guy down for a moment... He did not look very strong or competent in the slightest... He almost saw him being more a weight than a float for the team... But DK has had some surprisingly helpful friends so maybe this guy won't be that bad.... Hopefully.

He grabbed his tie as the question was asked of how he aquired it... Donkey Kong actually was not sure how he obtained it. It has been his signature look for a very long time. Ever since he ditched that bib he had when he was a baby... Aw, the miracles of monkey youth and their bibs... And green dinosaurs that ate things. There was also something about him being a star child but he was not sure what that meant.

After he pondered the question he gave a shrug and shook his head. Donkey Kong then looked at the other guy that was... appearing to eye his banana... Apparently he was a craverer of the bananas too... Well, they would probably find a bit of his massive horde here... and he did share with the other Kongs from time to time. DK stared at his banana for a moment before finishing it off and... just tossing the peel onto the beach... Apparently he did not understand the concept of littering.

What he did understand was though that he liked the cut of Pac-Man's jib so he took out a banana and handed it over to the yellow ball. It did seem he had some interest in sharing... And he also did not believe in the rule of not eating right before a swim. In fact, now that he was done with his snack, that is exactly his next course of action. Donkey Kong gave a running start before jumping and diving into the ocean.

Only a bit of the temple was visible from the surface, however underneath the gigantic tropical temple's outside could be seen was visible. It was a bit of a swim but the entrance looked marked by a pressure plate at the bottom.

Klug looked down at the underwater temple, adjusting his glasses. "Hmm... A temple." He stated. "Is that why you sent us here?" Klug waited for an answer only to be presented with more silence. Klug sighed. "Why do I bother?" Klug sat down and pulled a large book on underwater temples out of his pocket. Klug opened the book and skimmed through the pages, looking at the barely visible temple as a point of reference.

"There's nothing like that in my book." The magician said, still skimming though the book. "I guess the only way to know now is to inspect it ourselves." Klug's glasses shone as he stood up, putting his book back in his pocket. "Luckily I have a way to breathe underwater."

myEYYg0bp_1d20+4 "Lacteus Orbis!" Klug shouted as he formed a saucer of a milky, white substance.

The young magic user then formed the saucer into a large bubble around him, giving him a shield from the water.1d20+4

PAC-MAN smiled and accepted the fruit from Donkey Kong. He tossed the banana up and in the air and swallowed it whole. A loud "Waka" followed the chewing of it. Mmm, bananas were always good.

The waters seemed to be safe for swimming. He knelt down and waved a hand in it to test it. Pac walked his way into the waves until he was at a point where he could easily float with his spherical shape. Taking a deep breath, he plunged downwards, diving below the surface and into the water. He followed DK to the now revealed aquatic ruins. Woo, this thing was big. He kept an eye out as he followed along, looking at the sea-floor and kicking his feet.

Donkey Kong swam down towards the pressure plate as the others followed him. Getting past that temple would help get them to the depths in which his bananas were probably kept. However, there would soon be a problem as two fish that seemed calm at first suddenly went at the bubble surrounding Klug.

It would seem Pac-Man's fear of sharks was right as well. A shark known as a Snaggle seemed to have taken interest in the Pac-Man as a snack. It went to chomp down at the Yellow Sphere but Donkey Kong attempted to intercept with a bop to the Snaggle's nose with his fist.

And the fist barely managed to land on the shark's nose. The enemy stopped his assault on Pac for the moment.

Klug thought quick and dodged while within his bubble.

Klug failed to dodge the attack from the Finleys and got hit with 8% damage, his bubble popping in the process.

Klug feverishly gasped for air, only to realize that he could somehow breathe. "What!?" He shouted in disbelief. "I can breathe underwater!?"

The young magician quickly calmed down and thought to himself. "Who should I strike first? And with what attack...?" He kept pondering for twelve milliseconds before coming up with an answer.

Swimming, and swimming, and swimming...

PAC-MAN's whole body jumped when he saw the shark. Aw c'mon! Could he not have one of these every time he did some swimming? He stopped his kicking and held himself still in the water. Flee? Yeah, turning the other way seemed like a great idea.

His fear was temporarliy removed when the gorilla bopped it across the face, making it turn away for a bit. His face was covered with a mixture of happy relief and doubtfulness. W-Well... Might as well get rid of it.

With a swish of his hands, he threw out a small series of pellets.  They float a small bit but the chomper still assumed his route along them, turning into his classic limbless form and biting along towards the shark.1d20
