Amitie found herself walking around the dead remains of the once-beautiful Mushroom Kingdom once again. She darted her eyes left and right, looking for the portal who brought her here.

"Oh, geez...Still can't believe I was thrown in somewhere else again." Maybe it was only how things were meant to be for the girl. Shrugging it off, she made a beeline towards where she fell down.

Big mistake on her part.

She came into a halt when she saw two small creatures, wreathed in complete black. They looked kinda funny, but gave also this dangerous vibe...
And one of them seemed to spot her. Amitie gulped. The two shadowy creatures started walking towards the apprentice sorceress.

"Aah! G-get really real...whatever you are! You won't be able to match up to me!" [Good way of attempting to reassure yourself, Amitie. Keep doing you.

"With any luck, they won't have to~!"

A divine light fell from the heavens, heralding Palutena's descent onto the battlefield. She landed with a click of her heels, her flowing robe blossoming outwards as she landed before settling upon her thighs. The jingle of golden frills clattering could be heard as she took a stance in front of Amitie, placing herself between the girl and the monsters. Her ethereal halo was glowing brightly around her, a symbol of her divine nature. She passed a friendly glance back at Amitie, smiling brightly at the smaller girl. "Are alright there, Miss?" she asked, letting go of her staff and allowing it to float beside her on its own. She didn't seem overly concerned that there were shadow monsters very capable of attacking her standing right there.

Tails scanned the area from above with his Tornado MK II as he looked for any signs of distress. It was dangerous outside the Life Sphere and if someone was out here he needed to keep an eye out. He was not sure he was looking in the right area until he saw a beam of light... That may of been that Palutena lady. Her files do call her a Goddess of Light... That at least sounded better than Chaos.

Tails quickly flew to the location and noticed the monsters and the girl from above. One glance and he could tell that was the right girl. He set the Biplane to Auto-Pilot to land before getting up and jumping out of the Tornado. Tails fell onto the battlefield by Palutena's side as the Tornado flew into the distance to wait for being called back. He kept a hand on his gadget pouch as he looked at the figures.

"Don't worry, we can get rid of these guys," the humanoid fox child assured.

"Huh? What the--?"

Suddenly, a ray of light appeared in between Amitie and the shadowy creatures. From it, a tall woman with long green hair descended from the heavens. Just what was going on? Amitie didn't knew. Making matters even more confusing was the bipedal fox who just jumped out of a faraway plane, and talked as well...what in the world...?

Her mind snapped back at reality when she heard the two talking. "Um...I'm all right, thanks!" She said, bringing her usual smile to her face. "You sure you two can take them on by yourselves? I can fight too!" Amitie offered as she brought herself next to the two newcomers.

The shadowy figures turned to each other, and apparently started talking....as broad as talking was going to get, because all that was heard from them were low growls and hisses, along with some distorted guttural noisery. The figures finally faced the three and hissed loudly. It seems they were looking forward to a beatdown.

Amitie felt the need to invite herself into the battle, regardless of what her saviors were going to answer. "I dunno what you are saying, but I have a home to return to! And you are not getting in my way!" She 'retorted' confidently.

"...Well, we're here to rescue you after all~"

Palutena was understandably skeptical and amused by the notion of a human of a fighting at her side. There was a good reason she protected them and not the other way around. However, she was also picking up on an enormous amount of magic not normally present in a human's body. It was just sort of an anomaly to her; humans didn't use magic in her world, at least not for the most part. The few who did weren't particularly good at it. "...But if you've got some tricks up your sleeves, I'd love to see what you can do!" Palutena went on to relent. Judging by her tone, she seemed to be encouraging Amitie to give it a try.

The goddess turned her attention to the shadows, her staff raising and discharging several blasts of energy in rapid succession at Mysterious Shadow A.

Tails gave a look back at Amitie for a second as she suggested fighting too. He knew better than to assume people were not strong just by their appearance. Knuckles was amazingly strong for his rather normal and not very tough looking appearance compared to other power houses. Heck, Tails himself one may not expect to be that tough just by looking at him. A mere 2'7" is not really something one expects much from. Despite that, Tails's big brain has helped out him and his friends on many occasions. "Teah, we don't mind the extra help!" Tails agreed.

Tails then pulled out a blue and orange metal suitcase and pressed the button on it. In an instant a mech suit as sleek as a plane yet as strong as armor unfolded in a mere instance. Tails quickly jumped into the open orange cockpit that closed the orange plane like metal armor. Tails then programmed the mech to point it's fist towards th foe. A second later the fist was fired at the strange enemy.

The shadowy being who was attacked had noticed the attacks, but he wasn't fast enough to dodge them. Hit after hit, the attacker seemed to be closer and closer to death.

"Now there's a good chance to attack!" Amitie said. With that, she stretched her arm and flicked her pointer finger forward. The finger ignited itself shortly.

"Flame!" She called her spell forth, three fireballs traveling in a circular motion from her arm.

The fireballs homed in on the helpless shadow monster. The Mysterious Shadow, who was still attempting to recover from the attacks, held it's hand above it's head, expecting the blow to finish him off...but then...
It's companion put himself in its front, taking the hit instead.

Palutena's eyes glimmered as she watched Amitie work with interest. So she was right! That was incredibly impressive magic for a human. Far more than anyone from her world could manage. She found it... endearing? The goddess of light wanted to see more, and so her halo extended out from her and shot out to grapple the Mysterious Shadow B.

"Don't get down on yourself, Miss. That's quite an impressive display. I wonder else you can do!"

Palutena's words came accompanied by a smile directed at her companion. "Maybe next time I'll get your name too~" she went on in a humorous tone. She then turned her attention back to the mysterious shadows. Seeing as they hadn't actually attacked back, she felt no need to resort to her more impressive attacks. Instead, she shot another volley of energy at the remaining Mysterious Shadow to try and keep it at bay.

Wow, she was capable of shooting fire! Tails had to stop and wonder what tech she used to use that... Oh right, that did not look like a technological attack... Then she probably had psychic powers. Clearly that was how she was capable of using Pyrokinesis. That was how Blaze did it so it made sense to him. "Nice Pyrokinesis," Tails praised in his state of denial of magic... He has been here years yet he still felt the need to explain things scientifically.

And then Palutena... used a halo to grab that monster... Well, she is registered as a Goddess or something. Clearly it was some form of science... Though using the enemy as target practice was a tad bit unethical. He could not help but notice they weren't fighting back though...

Tails decided to take care of the other figure so he can witness the other psychic powers too. Tails threw his armored suit's fist at the figure in the form of a punch. Tails then transitioned the punch into a shoulder tackle to knock the foe off balance. And to end the combo he attempted to finish it off by transitioning into an aerial spin kick. "... Why are we concerned about these guys again? They don't seem a very big threat," Tails asked as he turned away from the decidedly harmless foe.

Hearing both compliment her abilities shot her back into her usual self. "Thanks, guys~!" She piped. "Now let's take care of them!"

The shadow that shielded his ally was picked up by Palutena. Amitie was...kinda slow into getting what the Goddess of Light wanted to, but she nodded. "I won't show my best spells yet, though~! I like to save the bigger ones for the badder ones!" Amitie exclaimed as she put up her pointer again. This time, however, she channeled wind.

"Cyclone Whirl!" She exclaimed, a small whirlwind cycling to the grappled Shadow.

Palutena only gripped the shadow tighter in her holy disembodied grasp in response to it taking the blow, her eyes glimmering in recognition. "...So it seems you've got many more tricks than meets the eye. I must admit, I like what I see. Now if only I knew whom to give credit to for these deeds~" Palutena remarked in response to these attacks, unsubtly teasing Amitie a bit in response to the other's apparent refusal to give her name. Regardless, Palutena struck a defensive pose and began absorbing an enormous amount of light.

"Shield your eyes for this next one. It's very flashy~"

Tails watched as the girl now had some control over the power of wind... And these strange creatures still had no powers it appeared... Tails felt this armor was beginning to feel a little silly so he jumped out of the mech as it converted back into it's portable mode. Tails then began to spin his tails before executing a tackle on the strange monster.

Tails then uncurled and held his hand out towards the enemy. A red arm cannon appeared on his hand in a yellow flash of light. He shot it at the ungrappled foe which caused him to fly back a little. Tails rolled against the ground as he shot the yellow sphere of electricity to hopefully finish the other enemy.

While the heavily damaged shadowy being finally managed to dodge an attack, it wasn't lucky enough to dodge the other one. With the final attack being the nail on it's coffin, the shadow being dissolved, letting out a gurgled screech.

"That's one down, at least~" Amitie said, before listening to Tails' introduction. Oh yeah, she forgot to introduce herself! Silly Amitie.

"My name's Amitie! My biggest dream is to be a wonderful magic user~!" She exclaimed happily.

Amitie turned to face the other shadowy being, who...well, he looked to be very angry. Finally deciding to do something, the shadow spewed black smoke from it's belly area, aiming at the whole group.

Palutena held the shadow firmly in the air where it supposedly couldn't hurt them, only to be taken off guard by a sudden attack!

Much like Amitie, Palutena just wasn't ready for this. The smoke enveloped her, but she braced herself against the attack and continued her own. After a moment Palutena's body would emit a massive blast of intense light, bathing the shadow in destructive energies and probably blinding it in the process.

In the wake of the destruction, Palutena raised her staff and called down a ray of holy light about the battlefield, bathing it in a soothing warmth that cast away the shadows, burning the remaining mysterious shadow and healing the party of the damage they'd taken.

"Nice to meet you, Ami-" Tails began before the monster began to release a dangerous smoke from his body. 'Woah!" Tails exclaimed before he curled into a ball and rolled out of the way. It was a good thing he has naturally developed amazing reflexes helping Sonic.

At the end of Tails's curl he brought out a... ridiculously large laser cannon for his size... It's a huge question to where he even keeps that gigantic gun. Tails did not explain however as he fired the gigantic laser through the enemy before it could attack again.
