A female Pikachu with a flower on her ear ran through the ruins of the old Mushroom Kingdom. She was leading Yellow to the exact location that the "Kecleon" took Kitty. The location was an isolated fort with twin towers on the left and right high in the sky. The fort looked quite pixelated for some reason... In fact the surroundings here was oddly pixelated compared to the rest of the Kingdom. Everything looked like it was made of various blocks instead of actual structure.

It looked a bit more like a castle than a fort really. There was a golden block gate hanging above a red and gold block door. Fortunately the gate was already up and the door did not look locked... That would be given away by the lock laying down next to the door. "This is the fort, Chuchu?" Yellow asked her Pikachu companion who looked up and nodded. "I wonder why a Kecleon lives here... We should wait for the others in case there is security," Yellow advised before sitting down. Chuchu ran to Yellow's side and curled up to wait.

Arle adjusted her tiara as she approached, looking a bit disheveled as if she'd just had a very wild trip to get here. The mage gently sighed as she approached, moving to brush off her skirt and adjust her boots before finally tucking her staff into the crux of one arm and moving to address Yellow. "This place is something else. I think a giant flying squid tried to eat me on the way here." she remarked, mildly out of breath. ...What even? Arle soon shifted her staff into her hand again, however, striking a somewhat more charismatic pose.

"Hi! My name's Arle Nadja and this is--..." Arle began, pointing to nothing in particular. "..."

A small sigh escaped her.

"Carbuncle. Or it would've been if he hadn't run off somewhere. He might join us later." Arle explained, shrugging helplessly at the situation. She could've sworn he was right with her just a moment ago.

Kuma snarled as he traversed the Mushroom Ruins. He was very irritated, as he could have been sleeping right now. He couldn't help thinking of the nice, warm bed he was leaving behind. Unfortunately, Kuma had run out of food. He'd spent his very last dime on some sweet maple honey buns. His mouth drooled at the thought of the delectable sugar he'd consumed shamelessly. He couldn't wait to buy more, but first, he'd have to rescue this stupid Pokemon.

Kuma walked toward the two very colorful girls, disappointed with the people he'd have to work with. He gave the two an unimpressed snarl as he walked by the pair of dames. He let out a roar as he banged on the door of the castle...he really wanted this mission to be over with. He'd then looked back at the girls, signaling that they should hurry up and get going. He really hoped this wouldn't take forever...

Yellow sat close to Chuchu as she considered taking a nap while she waited... That seemed like a bad idea now that she thought about it though. Fortunately, she did not have to wait long as Arle showed up relatively soon. She tilted her head at how lightly she took a squid trying to eat her... It was almost like she was used to it by now or something. "Hi, I am Amarillo Del Bosque Verde, but my friends just call me Yellow and this is my Pikachu, Chuchu," Yellow introduced.

Then a bear came with a strong sense of anger about him. Chuchu stood protectively in front of Yellow and just watched as he barged the door down... So that seemed to be their other ally... "Looks like we should get started..." Yellow stated with a sweat drop as she put on a straw hat to conceal her ponytail for the moment... Just in case there was someone like Iris around...

The hall was just as blocky as the outside but in the form of a rather royal asthetic. There was a long red carpet going down the hall that was populated by... Cat robots in maid outfits? "Welcome Home, Master," The servant stated... apparently mistaking Kuma for her master.

Other than the synthetic cat maids was a large pixelated... catdoor... This chameleon clearly had an obsession with cats. The Catdoor looked asleep and there were two locks. While one could look through the locks, they seemed somehow too High-Technicaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal despite their simplicity to pick. On top of that, the door did not seem to budge at all no matter how much force was applied. Looks like they were going to need to find the keys... There was a faint noise behind the door however, like someone talking to himself.

Arle glanced to Chuchu, pondering the stretch of a similarity she shared with Carbuncle. Huh. She could deal with more cute monsters! When was the last time she'd fought something so cute? No--...Wait. No fighty. Bad Arle. That's a friend. Arle shook her confusion away. She supposed she just wasn't used to having others to rely on. "Hi Yellow." Arle began, only to double take as a bear made it's way past them. You'd think a pair of little girls ought to be scared of a freaking bear growling at them oh my god, but... well... Arle was kind of a messed up chick. It was definitely a little intimidating, but far from the worst thing she'd ever had to face. Thus, she greeted Kuma with curiosity and a smile.

"Oh hello, Mr. Bear."

The mage then moved to follow him, quietly pondering whether the other could speak like certain other bears she'd known. "Diacute!" Arle stated firmly, casting a spell to prepare herself for an incoming fight. Well, they were breaking and entering a fortress, after all... A minor circle of conjuration formed at her feet before condensing into a ball of magical energy that hovered at her side. Hey look, Yellow; high level sorcery!

Arle gave little thought to the cat guard. It was pretty cute, but she didn't trust them. They reminded her of dolls in some weird way, and boy did she not care for dolls. Upon reaching the door, Arle bent over a bit and inspected the locks. She had the idea of shrinking herself and trying to go inside the door, but there were probably a lot of moving mechanisms in there and she didn't want to get squished.

"...If I didn't know any better I'd say this was Viridi's summer home. Hey! Is anyone home??"

The question was directed at no one in particular. Or rather, it was directed at the person Arle could hear talking behind the door. That face on the door was also a plausible target.

Kuma stood at the door puzzled. The pair of girls he had to work with couldn’t get any more odd. The first girl seemed to be the most sane of the two. She was accompanied by yellow squirrel creature, with whom she seemed to have a close bond. Kuma was kind of flattered when the creature stood in front of the girl to protect her…it was nice to be feared. Overall, the yellow girl struck him as friendly, but sort of reserved, though not quite shy.

The second girl was a very different story. She appeared to be moderately incompetent. Anyone who greets an angry bear must have a screw loose somewhere. Like the yellow girl, the girl with the big shoulders was very friendly, though unnaturally outgoing. He found it strange how she'd even tried talking to him. He could understand human language, but he'd never heard of a bear who could speak it. That was just insane.

Anyways, after breaking the door down, to his surprise, he was greeted like royalty. The weird little cat maids referred to him as master. Maybe he could use this to his advantage…Kuma bent to the ground as he scratched the word food into the ground while gesturing toward his mouth. He then stood back up to see a giant cat door looming over him. Angered at the appearance of another obstacle, he let out a huge roar. He threw his fist at the massive door hoping to break it down. Unfortunately, the door didn’t budge and Kuma was left with a hurting fist. In pain, Kuma comically flopped on the ground, tearing up at the agonizing feeling in his knuckles. This was going to be a long mission…

The Cat like door remained undamaged as Kuma tried to punch it. The Cat Maid seemed to ignore it however as it looked at the scratched word into the floor. "So hungry you can't speak, Master? Of course, the dining room is right this way," The robotic feline confirmed before rolling further down the hall and into a paticular set of doors.

As for Arle's look, there was no reply. Apparently the bedroom she was looking into was soundproof. There was a large Chameleon however taking pictures of a Butterfree in a cage saying something about thoraxs and Digibutter.nerr... He seems too occupied to notice... Still, someone took notice of Arle's comment.

"Just because I am more comfortable with you in a Cat Suit does not make me THIS crazy! I am a Goddess of Nature, not a crazy cat lady... or a complete geek in this guy's case..." Viridi's voice came into Arle's mind.

Yellow did not seem to notice the outburst in Arle's mind as she looked down the hall. "Go, Randy!" Yellow stated as she already returned Chuchu and sent out a Herdier. "Where do you think the owner of this place would hide his keys?" Yellow requested.

Randy looked around a bit more at the door and the maids. "... Maybe in one of his room upstairs?" Randy suggested. There was something familiar about this place... Otakus probably think alike. He did not seem to notice Arle at the moment.

"Thanks, Randy. Hey, Arle, want to head upstairs to check with me?" Yellow requested before heading down the hall to start heading up the stairs.

Arle pouted at the lack of a response. Geez! When did she... Ah well. She was however greatly amused to hear Viridi's voice invade her thoughts. It brought a smile to her face, even though she was being scolded. It was just nice to hear the voice of her goddess after a long trip out here.

"Sorry, Vivi~ I guess I was just hoping to get your attention. Everyone likes superbells. They're supercute!"

Arle then turned to Yellow, not even acknowledging that she had apparently been talking to herself. "Sure! I guess we have to start looking somewhere... It sounds like Mr. Bear is about to get his eat on." Arle replied, turning to acknowledge Randy. "Hello, Randy. Are you Yellow's pooch?" she wound up asking, a tad curious as to the talking dog. Oddly enough, dogs never talked in her world. However, it wasn't a stretch of the imagination to the imagination this changing.

"Say, Vivi--Do you know anything about this place? It seems kind of ...fake." Arle would go on to ask after a moment.

Kuma got up from his fit of pain joyously. He was excited to find something to eat in the midst of this torturous mission. He followed the strange cat maid to the dining room, leaving his partners behind with no second thought. He followed the cat maid into the dining room as he prepared for the feast of a lifetime. He couldn’t believe the cat maid believed he was its master, but he didn't mind it at all. He stepped into the dining room to find nothing on the table. Maybe they don't know what I want to eat yet, Kuma thought.

Kuma stepped into the kitchen, ready to show the maid what he'd wanted to eat. He raided the pantry and the refrigerator to find every food he could imagine! He pulled out fish, bread, honey, and whatever else he could find and threw it by the stove. He could only imagine such deliciousness as a honey biscuit sandwich with sautéed fish in the middle, but wait! This was a fancy person's house, they'd create something even more masterful than he could even conceive!

Kuma sat back at the dining room table, waiting for food when he remembered the mission at hand. He began to think when he realized that the giant cat door had massive keyholes in it. In order to get past that door he'd need a key, but how would he get it? He contemplated this when he realized that surely the loyal servants of the house's owner would know where to find the key; however, they'd only ever disclose that information to their master…and the maids mistook Kuma for their master!

Kuma contemplated how to communicate to these maids that he'd needed the key. He could scratch his request into the ground again, but they'd know something was up if their master started destroying his own property. He kept thinking of plans until it finally gave him a headache. I guess there's no need in thinking on an empty stomach…

Randy looked at Arle as she talked to herself in confusion. He gave a look to Yellow which she exchanged with the former Rocket. They shared the same look of confusion of who the girl thought she was talking to. The forest girl did not question it for now since Arle spoke to them. She was curious but part of her attention was focused on Kitty. Randy on the other hand did not want to question the actions of young girls.

In fact Randy quickly got on the opposite side of Yellow in reaction to Arle's noticing him... And he kind of just hid by her side rather ineffectually. "... Yes, this is my Herdier, Randy," Yellow stated, trying to not make Randy any less comfortable as they climbed the stairs. She tried to comfort him as best she could by petting his head a bit.

"Nice Dodge, Arle. I suppose you did get my attention."

"I will let it slide. To answer your question, this place is real. It was originally part of a land known as the Bitlands. It was basically a nostalgia world where the place looked retro. It must of merged with the Mushroom Kingdom when coming to Li. This place used to be a castle owned by some ancient civilization. Now though it is owned by a geek," Viridi explained.

Yellow watched Arle for a moment with Randy peeking as Arle talked to herself again... Did she have some kind of way of communicating on her? "... Who are you talking to?" Amarillo finally asked for Randy. As they traveled down the second floor however, there seemed to be some weird spore like things in the air. They seemed odd so it may be best to avoid touching them... Though that was easier said than done.

(Roll a 15 or higher to avoid touching the Fuzzies in the hall... Or get "Dizzy". The status will lower your Wisdom, DEX, and INT by 4.)

Suddenly, something fell from above and a tank like cat robot appeared. It seemed to get in their way as it moved and kept it's cannon aimed in their direction... Looks like this place did have some security.

The Meowmaid watched in confusion when Kuma ran straight for the food. The Meowmaid followed anyway and watched as he took a lot of food out. "You must be famished, Master. Sit down and Meowmaid will prepare something," Meowmaid addressed before watching her 'master' leave. She did not think it was because he figured she could make something better.

After a short amount of time, the Meow Maid would come out with several platters. It sat the platters down before revealing... 4 cakes that looked themed over something. "This is your planned meal, Master." Well, it looked like a great dish... If you are looking for sugar overload dessert.

[Mari]

"Well I guess if it's just a geek here dealing with them can't be too bad, right?"

Arle was, of course, making several bad assumptions about their geek. She was currently imagining a small, weak little ... girl who didn't pose a serious threat. Someone like Yell--oh... Arle's attention turned upon the trainer with the sudden realization that she sounded kind of weird talking to herself. Turning upon Yellow, she smiled brightly.
"Oh, I'm just talking to my uhm..." Arle began, trailing off as she wasn't sure how to address Viridi. The other didn't want anyone knowing about their relationship, right? It still kind of hurt Arle's feelings, knowing she couldn't be open about that. "Well, if I told you, you probably wouldn't believe me. She's like my guardian angel~" Arle finally replied. She doubted saying God was speaking to her in her head would go over well with the other.

Yellow looked at the cat robot that got in their way before looking at Arle... Who seemed to be in a really bad state after something. She was talking about guardian angels, which she was still not sure the meaning of, and now she was on the floor dizzy... Well, she had to do something. Wouldn't feel right to leave her like this... Hopefully she is not like Iris...

"Randy, blow those spores away with Hyper Voice!" Yellow commanded. Randy obliged by raising his head to the air before letting out a loud howl. This howl shook the place with a large shockwave of sound.

And it would seem the sound was a too loud as Yellow held her ears. The fuzzies were fortunately blown out of the room. On top of that the robot in front of them's circuits were devestated by the howl. While Randy surprisingly had that handled, Yellow kneeled next to Arle and held her hand out to touch Arle's forehead. In a moment she would feel the dizziness subside and feeling a bit refreshed... Until there was a thud next to her as Yellow fell asleep all of a sudden.

The Surprise Meow regained it's senses after that massive overload. It sensed a sleeping foe was an easy target so it shot out a cat like bomb that ran at Yellow... Perhaps Arle could defend Yellow from the rather unfair attack.

Arle began to regain a clear consciousness as her wind was freed from the ridiculously toxic dust in this nerd's attic. Damn. She slowly picked herself up, only for Yellow to collapse near her.

Wh--... What was happening?!

Arle panicked a little as her ally appeared to die on the spot, but luckily for Yellow she was a bit too uncomfortable being touched herself to jump to conclusions. That and there was a surprise meow rushing her. Can't tend to the fallen girly until she's dealt with the immediate threat! Standing up and folding her arms before her, Arle struck a defensive pose and a blue bubble shield emerged to protect her.

"Not so fast, you fake feline!"

Arle allowed the meow to bounce off of her before lowering her shield and pulling back. "Let me help you cool off a little!" Arle went on to quip, doubtlessly eliciting a groan from Viridi somewhere in response to her terribad puns. What teenage girl didn't enjoy the suffering that was puns? "Blizzard!" Arle blurted out, tossing a series of icy magic blasts as the meow.

The bomb cat exploded against Arle's shield before the Securimeow swiftly swerved out of the way of another ice magic. The second case of Ice magic to piece the cat patrol however. It was still in top order however though it was sparking a little bit now. Randy ran full speed at the cat robot to try and ram into it before trying to bite it.

The charge missed as the robot turned. Randy however managed to stop himself just in time to bite into the thing... Which hurt his teeth a bit by the rough exterior. The robot cat sparked a bit more before exploding. Randy gave a surprised yelp before the explosion caused him to roll over a bit. That robot was taken care of and the staircase to the upper exterior was there as well as a door that lead to the other side of the castle.

... Yellow was still asleep on the ground however. After a moment Arle would hear Viridi's voice again. "Huh... It seems this human has magic too... And it's magic is interesting... Normally Pokemon Trainers don't have any real power outside the few capable of Psychic powers. Her powers seem more natural though and are different from Psychic Trainers."

"You should probably thank her by the way. She is the one that cured you of that Fuzzy's influence. It seems her powers really take a lot out of her though. She fell asleep right after curing you of your dizziness," Viridi continued.
