Iris, having accepted the warm outfits she'd been offered and completely ignored the notion that putting little girls in this much danger might be a bad idea, had once again assaulted the icicle peak in search of something awesome. I-I mean, what was the point of living if she couldn't endanger her life recklessly in the name of personal growth? She wasn't even here for the rewards if one was being entirely honest. Blue had just told her of a great challenge and she'd been sold even before she realized what was going on. "Can you imagine climbing all the way to the top, Hydreigon?" Iris asked, glancing to her terrifying companion. Hydreigon emitted a low groan, her entire body shuddering. She would occasionally bite at the air in a confused manner.The snow and cold seemed to really bother the dragon pokemon, probably because she couldn't bite it to make it stop. Luckily, she had a very warm human heater riding on her back to help her deal with it. As the duo approached a cave indicated by the gambling casino, Iris slid off of Hydreigon bounced on her feet a little. "Alright. It's do or die. Are you ready? I bet this'll be fun!" Iris remarked to Hydreigon. The brutal pokemon understandably agreed with the sentiment. Their battlelust was one thing the two shared in bounds.

There was little no resistance from going into the cave... In fact, there did not even seem to be anything in here... Not that it was empty of course. There was definitely signs something lived in here at the very least. There was bones and remains of large creatures all over the place. It's like some large monster treats this place as a den of some course... The remains of large monsters also seemed to be covered in some kind of venom.

Still, it looks like they arrived here before the creature did somehow. Looks like they were going to have to wait for it... Or maybe what did live here moved on... Or maybe the Wyvern that lives here is using it's natural cave abilities to hide... And where else would a large dragon relative hide but... Right above you.

Iris' eyes glimmered as she gazed around the cave. This almost looked like what she'd expect of a dragon's cave. Way cool. However, she was disappointed that no one seemed to be home. Or... were they? Iris' began to sniff at the air, attempting to get the scent of whoever lived here. What could it hurt, right? She wanted to know what it smelled like for... later purposes. Probably to track it down just so she could get her fight. What was the point of winning without trying?

...But Iris smelled something very odd. There was a scent wafting down to her from ... directly above her? Iris' gaze shot up and a gasp of excitement excaped her. She smiled up at the creature disarmingly, only for Hydreigon to inexplicably look up almost immediately after her and snarl at the wyvern in a threatening manner. Hydreigon then proceeded rise into the air towards it and spew a torrent of draconic flames, attempting to burn and paralyze it with her dragon breath.

The rather large winged wyvern did not notice Iris smiling up at it... In fact, the creature did not seem to have any eyes at all. It looked like it was actually blind yet it definitely notice Iris's location. It took the draconic breath from Hydreigon fairly well all things considered... Though it did not seem happy with the heat. The monster raised it's head and gave a loud and monsterous screech that would assault the ear drums of all those near. If one was not to endure the soundwaves, they could easily be stunned by it's loudness.

(Roll a 17 or higher in INT to not be stunned for one turn by the roar)

The Wyvern would follow this roar by moving it's body down, sensing the biggest source of heat in the room. This source of heat being Iris as the Wyvern attempted to put Iris in it's leech like mouth from the downward motion. It's mouth almost seemed to enlarge with it's eagerness.

(Roll a 16 or higher to evade the consuming attack. If you failed the roar or this, Iris is grappled and poisoned and takes 1d10 damage.)

Iris was taken entirely off guard by the loud noise the creature emitted. She wobbled on her feet unsteadily as her ears were bombarded with pain, her balance going to the gutters and her hands rising to her ears in an effort to protect them from further damage. She also made the mistake of shutting her eyes, an instinctive reaction to the discomfort. As Iris staggered around however, she suddenly found herself being enveloped by... What was this, now? Iris was being bitten, but she was a bit too out of it to react.

The Creeping Venom Wyvern continued to chew on Iris while she was in the monster's mouth. He was either not concerned with or still was not aware of the Hydreigon's presence. It opted to continue slowly consume the girl that was trapped in it's mouth. Hanging from the ceiling by it's tail somehow. The scream's effects has probably worn off by now as well. It did not seem very mobile while snacking on the dragon girl. Maybe a force could be strong enough to knock it down and force the dragon relative to spit Iris out.

(Roll a 18 or higher to break free. This roll will get easier overtime. Alternatively, an attack of 16 or higher can do the same job. Take 1d10 per turn trapped.)

When Iris' head stopped realing she was suddenly greeted with the sobering sensation of mastication all around her. She tensed with a "Huh??" before promptly forcing her body to start curling up so that she could get some leverage, attempting to force the walls around her away so that she could stand up. The girl wasn't unfamiliar with monsters trying to eat her, and was frankly unbothered by the biting beyond any pain it caused. "You bit off more than you can chew, mister!" Iris remarked as she fought from within.

...But try as she might to force the walls surrounding her away, she could not escape without aid. Luckily she had plenty of aid in the form of a three headed monster just kinda chilling there, hissing in warning to the gigginox. Hydreigon, not being one to shy from a fight even slightly, promptly took advantage of the gigginox's ignorance by firing upon it with all three of her heads. The two mindless heads at her side continued to spew draconic fire, whilst the main head unleashed a shockwave of energy empowered by her own dark thoughts at the creature.

When the attack(s) impacted the distracted creature Iris made her mistake, leaping out of the creature and landing nearby. She left her back turned, turning her head and smirking at the gigginox. "You'll have to put in a better effort than that if you want to eat me!" she remarked, almost seeming to challenge the gigginox to try again. Hydreigon rejoined her side, continuing emit a low hissing noise in warning.

The Gigginox continued it's snacking on Iris until it was suddenly pelted by a fury of attacks the monster fell off the cave roof and onto the floor after the barrage. It quickly got up and did not even seem tired after she had to eject the dragon girl. The winged wyvern just looked in the general direction as it sensed their heat that was being given off. The Hydreigon was much lower in heat signature but it could tell something was there now.

The Creeping Venom Wyvern spit a toxic saliva at the Hydreigon in an attempt to poison it. The monster then did... something unusual during a fight and laid down what looked like a sac of eggs on the ground.  The Wyvern then stood ready to make another move as it was unfazed by the words of the girl. It would be much more ready for attacks now.... Though one of those attacks were making it feel a bit under the weather... It did not have the best immune system in the world for a gigantic cave wyvern.

(Roll a 16 or higher for Hydreigon to evade the spit. Getting hit will infect Hydreigon with Poison and deal 1d20+5 damage)

Hydreigon was struck by the spit, reeling slightly. Yet, she seemed to catch the very soft end of the blow and managed to come out looking pretty good after it. Not one to shy against pain, Hydreigon promptly responded by losing every last one of her marbles. hydreigon's temper rose and she took in a deep breath, her multiple heads spewing another round of dragon breath at the gigginox whilst Hydreigon prepared something else entirely.

Then, just a moment after her two small heads finished, Hydreigon would emit a terrifying roar to match the gigginox' earlier scream. She was attempting to intimidate the creature into making a panic driven mistake. Oddly enough, Iris seemed to join in with the three headed Hydragon. ...See what I did there? The girl stomped one of her feet and roared ferociously, taking a rather showy fighting stance as the two of them attempted to play mind games with the other.

The Gigginox took the blows of the breath of the other dragon. It seemed to stumble paticularly hard at one and even seemed a little stunned. It's body giving in a little at the electrical currents being sent through the body of the cave wyvern. It seemed effected pretty well by the paralyzing effects of the Hydreigon.

However, the roars had little to no effect on the beast... In fact, it seemed to have absolutely no interest in the sounds. It seemed like the creature was deaf in biology. Not even the most well crafter of monster hunter sound devices could hamper it. It would seem the roars of the girl and her dragon were to a similar effect.

It stepped back as if it was guarding the eggs it just laid on the ground. It reeled it's head back before lunging forward and firing a beam of acidic gas. The gas was repulsive and seemed very infectious to those it touched. Probably would be best to evade it... Or you can try shielding it.

(Acidic Breath: Roll a 16 or higher to evade. It can be shielded but it takes up two uses of the shield instead of one. 1d20 and 40% chance of sickness)

Hydreigon seared by the acidic gas, but the pokemon had an iron stomach and she wasn't about to succumb to illness that easily. Hydreigon backed away for a moment, growling aggressively at the gigginox. She was a tad too stupid to recognize that her attack had failed, or perhaps she simply did not have the capacity to hold regrets. Either way, she did not acknowledge her own failure. Iris would be doing enough of that for the both of them. "...Hm. This is a tough opponent." Iris mused aloud. She could tell by the way it moved that it was going to give her a rough time--or at least, she hoped. But what was that it was doing? Guarding... eggs? Iris narrowed her eyes at the tactic. Those eggs hadn't been there before, had they? No... So why would it--...?

As Iris pondered, Hydreigon continued to try and burn the gigginox into submission. It was a humble strategy, but what creature could stand up to the draconic flames..?

After a moment though, Iris chimed into the battle. She struck a pose and pointed to those eggs. "Good job Hydreigon! It's snack time!" she announced rather light-heartedly. Hydreigon seemed to have no issue obliging this order to sate her ravenous hunger, using the cover of her previous attacks to swoop in and try to force her way at those eggs.

The Gigginox dodged one blast that came right at it from the Hydreigon. However, the other blast managed to hit it's mark just fine as the Gigginox recoiled after jumping into the other Dragon Breath. The poisonous wyvern did do more than put itself in the line of fire however. The beast left it's eggs wide open for the hydra Pokemon to have for lunch. It was not clear how the sightless and deaf beast knew it happened but it did not seem happy. The beast gave a mighty roar that sent a shockwave of poison across the arena.

(Venom Shockwave on both Hydreigon and Iris. Roll a 14 or higher to evade. Deals 1d20+5 and has a 50% chance to poison)

The angry Venom Wyvern then jumped at the Hydreigon surprisingly agile for a paralyzed beast. It seemed like it was trying to pin the monster down so it's destructive levels were lowered.

Girl and girldragon completely failed to dodge that shockwave, sending the two of them reeling backward. However, by some miracle, the both of them managed to avoid the brunt of its damage. Clearly they were on their toes, even if they were failing terribly at actually dodging. To that end, neither were poisoned ... any further than they already were, anyway. Iris slid back, raising her fists competitively in response to the attack. "Wow! That's a big attack! Iris remarked, apparently amused more than anything else. Pain was just part of the game, you know? Hydreigon, however, was too busy sensing an incoming attack.

The dragon sidestepped the gigginox' pin, slipping around the incoming wyvern and hovering over it as it landed on the ground. Hydreigon then began attempting to roast the creature's back with her dragonbreath attack, aggressively attempting to the wyven from her vantage point.

The Gigginox was not swift enough to dodge all three assaults from the Hydreigon due to the Paralysis still slowing it's movements. However, the Creeping Venom Wyvern was quick enough to evade one of them. The Gigginox was slightly bruised but this monster seemed very resilient. It did not even seem to be that tired from the blows. It would seem this monster's resilience was something that gave it it's rank as a challenge. It's type of monster were renowned for their ability to take blows and survive multiple hunters at once. The dragon did seem to be doing something however as it's soft hide was weakening slowly.

The monster did a small spin as it's tail lengthened to slam against the dark dragon.

The monster then lunged it's head forward to try and engulf the Brutal Pokemon... How ironic that the Wyvern would try to devour the devourer. But it's mouth did not look sanitary... Probably will not feel good even if you are already poisoned.

(Roll a 14 or higher to evade the mouth of the Gigginox. Getting hit gets grappled with a STR roll of 13 needing to be broken due to sickness. Since Hydreigon was recently poisoned, getting chomped will inflict Poison and Sickness and do 1d10 damage)

The Gigginox then set it's tail against the ground whether or not it succeeded. After a second, it would raise it's tail and what appears to be another egg sac would be laying there... Where does it get these?

Hydreigon deftly, and surprisingly, got out of the way before the tail slam came down. She was surprisingly agile for someone who wasn't! Or at least, it might seem that way until she was abruptly engulfed. Oh. Uh... Hydreigon was no stranger to the circle of life, but she was also one of the most difficult pokemon to control in the world. Although... There was... one problem. Hydreigon had no limbs, other than her head. she had very little methods of pushing back against the gigginox other than her innate flying abilities. She was halfway into the monster's mouth as it was, and with her heads engulfed she could not grasp it at all. Iris, ever unfazed, smirked. This gave her an idea. "I can tell you like your food spicy; you tried to eat me after all. But it's about time we turned up the heat!" Iris announced, pointing her finger directly at the monster that ... definitely... couldn't hear her sassy one-liners. It was almost as if she were saying them just to amuse herself.

On cue, Hydreigon opened her mouths and promptly spewed a METRIC TON OF FIRE directly down into the gigginox' guts. How the creature was expected to dodge this attack was anyone's guess, but ... y'know. It could try spitting her out, maybe?
