The note leaked by Blue described a particular building with blacked out windows disguised as a motel. The building itself wasn't too difficult to find if one searched for long enough. A lone man in an inconspicuous outfit was guarding the entrance. How ... inconspicuous. Judging by the way he stood guard at the entrance, one might surmise that his job was not letting people inside. One could try and talk their way in, or they could pick a fight with him.

The note Blue had provided unfortunately provided no details on what they would find inside the building or where exactly Blue was inside, leaving the girls with a mystery to solve.

Yellow followed the directions of the note with Kitty Kitty flying by her head. She figured the Butterfree was the most inconspicuous to bring with her. She figured Team Rocket probably had Pokemon on hand and she'd rather not pick a fight yet. With this in mind, she walked towards the guard and did not provide any kind of threat... Not even one of those sneaking kinds.

She was not wearing her straw hat this time as she figured given her past... It may be giving her away a bit more than needed. Kitty flew by her side as she approached the guard. She already told Kitty what he should do when they got here before hand. Simply make it hard for him to focus with Bug Buzz so it would be easier to persuade him into letting them in without a fight. So, without the suspicious motion of instruction, Kitty danced around Yellow while making a really annoying sound.

Kitty was being especially annoying with her sounds today. Yellow even almost lost her focus but she maintained her mind to speak. The guard looks like he might have trouble thinking about her persuasion anyway. Still, she had to speak up to be heard. "Hello, me and my Butterfree here are inspectors on behalf of the Life Sphere. We called ahead of time for an inspection on your building. It is a routine people have to go through all the time, right? Now, please let me in so I can do our job. We would not want this place shut down before it even has a chance to pass the test. Do we?" Yellow lied.

Yellow made sure to say the lie in all the right ways. She felt like she did it so well even she would of mistook herself for an inspector. Might help that Kitty was making it hard to think straight. Also was to her benefit she chose Kitty since Compound Eyes would probably be a useful ability for this kind of job. Just had to wait to be granted permission to the place. She felt that act might make even Blue proud.

Kitty had mulled over going to assist Blue for only a short period of time before going to the destination with Emmy, her Meowstic. Upon arriving, the pair saw Yellow's display with her Butterfree and Kitty paused a moment to think. They already seemed to have a plan of action, and she was unsure of how to help. After thinking for a moment, Kitty attempted to step over beside Yellow and act as though she was definitely supposed to be there, despite being a bit late.

By some miracle, Kitty was able to confidently pull off her facade. She was definitely supposed to be there, or she was at least acting that way. Emmy simply kept close to her trainer and hid behind her, trying to help. It really didn't do anything for or the two of them. Kitty hoped the Guard wouldn't ask questions and that Yellow wouldn't as well, at least until they got inside. If questions were asked, she wasn't sure if she'd be able to answer them.1d20

The guard's eyes just sort of went wide when Yellow began talking to him. ...Huh. Two small girls claiming to be life sphere inspectors. ...In the black market. What had his boss said about children and the threat they could pose to Team Rocket? Something about... Team Rocket being destroyed by them twice? Wait, what was that look they were giving him? The guard just sort of stood there, breaking out in a nervous sweat before abruptly turning and sprinting down the street like he'd just seen a ghost.

"I'm not even a real guard! I was just loitering!" he called as he made a break for it in raw terror.

...Huh.

Just inside the supposed motel was ... the inside of a motel, only there was no one at the service desk. It was a rather filthy building with many, many rooms to search and a set of stairs leading to an upper floor and a lower floor. About 8 rooms laid on the bottom floor, and a set of mechanical doors was blocking access to the upper and lower floors. Footsteps and quiet talking could be overheard if one tried. Otherwise, one was left to explore the lower floor.

Hopefully, the girls had a bobby pin or something on them, as all of the doors on the ground floor were locked.

Meanwhile, Blue was slumped down in the corner of a locked room. She hugged her knees to her chest, pondering her situation quietly. She was running out of time, and she couldn't be sure anyone was coming. Perhaps it was times she took things into her own hands, as risky as that was.

Yellow looked at some other trainer that took up standing next to her. She really was not expecting that but she decided not to question it. At least until this guard got out of their way... She was not expecting the guard to suddenly be freaking out when she turned her gaze back to him. Then he kind of just fled in terror of them... That was a welcome surprise.

Yellow decided to take this moment to address the other girl. "So I guess you are here for Blue too, huh? My name's Yellow and this is Kitty. Nice to meet you," Yellow greeted before looking back to the door and heading in. Kitty looked confused as if he was about to fly after the guard before noticing Yellow was entering the building and persuing her instead.

"See if you can hear anything," Yellow asked her Butterfly companion. It was kind of hard to imagine her Butterfree focusing on her surroundings but he would probably be able to pick up more than her. Besides, she will be able to understand the thoughts of Kitty so she should be able to somewhat understand if he focuses on the sounds.

Kitty was immediately relieved as soon as the guard turned tail, not exactly sure why he'd been so startled. Were two girls and their Pokemon really super threatening..? All the same, she followed Yellow inside. She listened intently as Yellow spoke, smiling. "Ahh, yes, I'm here to help Blue. My name is, coincidentally, Kitty as well, and this is my Meowstic, Emmy." Kitty glanced around for Emmy and found the Meowstic holding onto Kitty's leg protectively. The Meowstic simply blinked and watched Yellow's Butterfree. "You can call me Kit, so as not to get me and your Butterfree confused."

After the brief introductions, Kitty got on one knee and turned to Emmy, patting the Meowstic's head gently to get her attention. "Can you try to check how many people are in the building, Emmy?" She asked softly, standing after a moment. Emmy would take a few steps in front of Kitty and Yellow, getting ready to use psychic to try and see how many people there were around them.

Emmy would stand there for a moment before she turned to Kitty. She gave a small meow, not completely sure of what she was supposed to do. Along with this, she would return to Kitty's side, hugging the trainer's leg. Kitty would pick the Meowstic up and pet her head in a suportive manner. "Don't worry about it, Emmy. We can practice your usage of your psychic abilities later. You gave a good attempt," Kitty reassured her and turned to Yellow and her Butterfree, hoping they'd have better results at getting information.1d20

Unfortunately, Brianna wasn't having much luck with her psychic readings. What a shame, too. Yellow, on the other hand, was able to pick up on a few conversations upstairs. There was a couple of rockets discussing their day and referencing some sort of wild street dancing competition, a lone rocket who appeared to be... talking to himself. He apparently didn't like his job very much. But perhaps the most interesting conversation was between some nature of supervisor and another rocket.

"I want you to head downstairs and check on our guest. See if they're ready to cooperate."

"Yes, sir!"

"I strongly suggest you don't take too long. We need to get rid of that girl. Today."

"...Of course, sir."

"And I mean 'rid' of her. Either she is never seen again, or you aren't. We can't afford to have that little brat running her mouth so early in our operations."

"R-Right away, sir."

"Get it done this time, Randall."

...And at that, the sound of footsteps steadily making their way towards the stairs were heard. Apparently this Randall fellow was coming their way! Assuming Yellow and Kitty paid attention to the details of that conversation, they'd likely know they were at risk of being discovered.

Yellow closed her eyes and focused on Kitty's thoughts as Kitty listened to their surroundings... As usual, Kitty's thoughts were very scattered and she was kind of not focusing on one thing for too long. There was a conversation about some dance competition then a second later she was thinking of a guy talking to him... and then after that there was a guy ordering someone to come and interrogate a girl... Wait... Uh-oh. "Someone's coming, we need to hide," Yellow whispered.

Yellow looked to the doors and got an idea. She almost forgot she had those to help with the Straw Hat staying on the ponytail. She reached into her Pokeball holster and pulled out a Bobby Pin. "Over here," Yellow said as she chose a door at random and tried to lockpick it... She has not tried this before but it did not seem that difficult. Just take a few twists and bobs and thingiemanuvers to pry the lock open, simple... Right?

Somehow, Yellow fought against the odds and heard a click. That must mean the door unlocked... she thinks. She pulled on the handle to pull the door open. If Brianna chose to hide outside, she would just be in here alone but she would try to wait for as long as possible. Kitty followed quickly after her.

Brianna would listen to Yellow and was surprised when she said that someone was coming. Before she could ask what the plan was, Yellow hurried over and picked a door. Brianna would follow with Emmy in her arms, not sure what to say or do, observing as Yellow successfully opened the door. "Nice work," Brianna whispered and went to follow the other inside the room.

The room the girls entered was rather messy and smelled kind of funny. An old, stained mattress adorned one corner. It was stripped of its sheets and didn't look particularly comfortable. One might notice that the blacked out windows allowed a dim light in, but that they were barred from the inside. The room had no furnishings in it, being rather barren. Meanwhile, a very preoccupied rocket made his way downstairs. The electronic door slid open for him and closed a few moments after he passed. He stepped out into the main area and made his way towards--Now hold on a moment. The anxious rocket stopped in his tracks as he noticed a door hadn't been shut properly.

...Randall's blood ran cold. One did not simply leave a door open in the rocket hideout. He knew exactly what those rooms were for, and an open door could only mean a couple of things. He stood there for a moment, listening for the sound of any footsteps or activity from inside the room. Not hearing any, he hesitantly made his way forward. Either someone had recently forgotten to close that door, or someone who wasn't supposed to be here had opened it. Either way, he knew exactly how to solve this problem.

Randall crept up to the door frame, staying out of sight, and shut the door.

It locked with a satisfying click.

...Oh.

The inside of the door had no lock to be picked. If it hadn't been clear before, it would be now; the girls had found their way into a makeshift prison cell, and were now locked inside. The sound of footsteps backing away could be heard.

Meanwhile, in Blue's similar holding cell...

"I'm awfully thirsty... Can't I have some water?" Blue asked, doing her best attempt at sounding pathetic. It wasn't difficult, at the moment. She wasn't feeling too great by any standard. "...Friendly reminder that you're not our guest." the voice replied somewhat sarcastically, from the other side of her door. Blue pressed her cheek and ear against the door, listening closely for footsteps. "It's been days, mister... I can barely move." Blue would whine in reply. It was an only partially dishonest statement, and that was the key to making her gambit work. The rockets hadn't exactly been gentle with her, and she was beginning to feel a combination of her wounds and poor upkeep take a serious toll on her mind and body. All the more reason to act now, rather than chance another day in this place.

Blue began to hear footsteps approaching her door and promptly rushed to withdraw a hidden pokeball from within her bra. She would then prime the ball so that it would be ready to send out it's hidden payload the moment she got an opportunity. It was all or nothing; she wasn't confident she could withstand the retaliation that came with failure. ...The doors stopped before the door. "...Back away from the door." the voice stated firmly. Blue was lucky; they had no way to see inside the room. "...Alright." Blue would reply, turning her head and attempting to project her voice a bit. Come on... Come on...

As soon as the lock gave way, Blue would violently push her weight against the door to take the rocket off guard, attempting to force her way past before he could mount a defense. Jiggly was sent out in a heartbeat, the girl and her pokemon moving to stand over the fallen rocket. If Yellow listened in again, she and Kitty would doubtlessly be able to hear the exchange.

"...And then that happened. Whoops~!"

Yellow looked at the room before realizing they should probably shut that door... And then she heard footsteps and quickly prepped Kitty to attack instead... for the door to be shut and then click... That can't be a good sound to hear from a door obviously designed to keep people in. Yellow quickly ran over and tried to get it open but it would not work.

Okay... So they were now locked into a room with no way out. This was a fantastic way to save a friend. Okay, it's not really that bad of a predicament. What was Kitty thinking of right now?

Kitty's thoughts were flying all over the place it was kind of hard to keep up. There was something about Blue for a second but it swiftly changed to what were the Rockets having for lunch. Yellow figured this was not helping at all and called to Kitty. "Okay, Kitty, try blowing the door open with Gust!" Yellow commanded. At the command Kitty returned to the situation at hand and began flapping fierce winds at the door.

Brianna had similar thoughts to Yellow in the case of the door being open, then it locking itself, and then Kitty's overly powerful Gust. Two oh no's and one holy cow. She and Emmy were left with their eyes wide at the display. "That was... impressive," Brianna spoke softly, stepping over beside the door frame, not wanting to step out just yet in case someone was waiting for them. "We might want to get a move on, Yellow, but I'm unsure which way to go. Any ideas?" Brianna asked quickly, nervous. She was prepared to follow the other and disliked not taking initiative, but Yellow seemed to have a better handle on things information-wise.

Blue would slip in close without hesitation, cornering the fallen rocket and attempting to overpower him.

Blue hovered over the rocket, crouching down to his level and immediately slamming the palm of her head against his mouth, gagging him. She then wrestled with the rocket as he attempted to free himself, snickering half-heartedly as the disorientated man failed to break free of her grasp. He managed to fall over, and Blue quickly positioned herself on top of him, tightening her grasp to keep him from getting up. "Ssshh... We're not gonna hurt you. Right Jiggly?" Blue whispered ever so sweetly to the other, causing him to hesitate. "It's all going to be okay... Just as soon as you take a little nap~" the girl continued, glancing to her jigglypuff. On cue, the pokemon began to sing.

Trapped and unable to escape, it was only a matter of time before the rocket fell prey to the brain wave imitating tones of Jiggly's singing voice. He passed out, and Blue finally let go of him. The girl and her pokemon helped drag the rocket back into the cell they'd previously been trapped in. Blue promptly robbed the man of everything except his underwear and played a bit of identity theft, shutting the door behind her and trapping the guard inside. "...There's that problem dealt with. Now we've just gotta get out of this place." Blue mused aloud, perhaps to her pokemon.

...

Then came the sound of a door being violently blown off it's hinges. The shattered frame of the doorway now laid all over the hallway. Truly, pokemon were not called monsters for nothing. The girls were free, but the incredibly loud sound ... had just alerted the entire base to their presence. The sound of rushing footsteps were heard as some rockets understandably went to investigate the source of such a blast.

Regardless of what the girls did, about five rockets were about to burst into the main area wondering what had gone down. And what of Randall, you say? Why, he was right there nearby! ...Screaming like he was one of the girls because OH ARCEUS THEY BIG BAD WOLF-CUTIES BLEW DOWN THE DOOR.

Meanwhile, Blue' heart skipped a beat. What the heck was that? Oh geez. Well... It couldn't have been her, and she could use a good distraction. She supposed she could take it. Blue began attempting to sneak her way around the basement floor.

...Her wounded body was making fluid motions difficult, especially her back, but with the aid of that handy dandy distraction upstairs, it wasn't really difficult. With the keycard in her, er--the guard's, pocket she would be able to make her way upstairs, if only she could navigate the building without anyone noticing her clothes weren't exactly a perfect fit. For now, she was incognito.

Yellow's mouth was agape as Kitty used Gust so hard the door broke off it's hinges. "I wanted you to open it, Kitty! Not tear it down!" the girl exclaimed before hearing the footsteps coming after the other trainer spoke. Yeah, they definitely attracted some attention after that mess. At least they can't be locked back in the room.

"We are not going anywhere unless we take care of those rockets. You take care of the guy freaking out however you can. Me and Kitty will take care of the others.  Kitty, over here," Yellow instructed as she motioned to her Butterfree before leaning against the wall next to the door, opposite the way she thought the rockets would be coming. Kitty followed and flew by her.

"Kitty, try and scare them off with Infestation," Yellow ordered. Kitty simply flapped her wings quicker as a bunch of really tiny insects came forth. The insects then scurried quickly towards the rockets while trying to remain inconspicuous. The bugs would then try and crawl upon the rockets and prove quite annoying.

Upon Yellow's instruction, and the obvious mass attention the two had obtained, Brianna hurried out to try and grab Randal. She would quickly instruct Emmy to do the same, both giving their own attempt at restraining the fellow. They'd dash towards him, Brianna attempting to grab him while Emmy attempted to lunge at him.

Brianna would rush forward to grab Randal to restrain him with hopeful success. She had a good chance, anyway, and found she was able to. Emmy, meanwhile, missed the man and landed ungracefully beside him. Woopsies. Today just wasn't her day, it seemed. Brianna would tackle Randal and attempted to sit on his chest, glaring at him. She didn't want to hurt him, but she didn't want him getting away, either. Emmy just sorta took a moment to relax on the floor, watching Kitty's Infestation go at the incoming rocket members.
