The scene was a regular old street lined with two rival food shops. Two middle-aged female toads stood opposite of eachother. On one side was Trayce T.--and on the other, Jasmine T. The two women were standing in front of their very own shops, watching eachother from across the street. Jasmine T had a smug look on her face, and a troop at her heels. The visage of a jester, a girl with dragon wings and a dragon tail, and a giant fish with human arms and legs were posing at the edge of the street, drawing the attention of passerby with their confidence and flamboyant presentation.

"Fiiish!" Suketadora blurted out in greeting, striking a pose and eyeing the passerby eagerly.

...But the streetgoers had a very mild reaction, mostly one of confusion and curiosity. What was going on, now?

Suketadora recoiled slightly. "...N-Not cool, Arle!" the fish man blurted out, visibly put off by the remark. Arle smirked with satisfaction, her gaze gliding over her opponents. There were two familiar faces and then... a jester. Huh. She wondered who the jester was, but paid them little mind for the moment being. "Bleeeeeh~!" Carbuncle spat out, making a rather immature face at the opposing team.

"...So what brings you here, Draco?" Arle asked, eyeing the dragon girl with interest. "I heard you were coming, and I wasn't about to let you become a superstar when I'm the prettiest girl on Li~" Draco replied, her tone full of sass. "...Of course~" Arle replied, a bit of sarcasm in her own tone. She turned her attention upon the jester. "And what's your name, stranger?" she asked, but the jester responded merely by putting a finger to the lips of his mask. "...Huh."

If Glover was a sucker for anything, it was definitely showbiz. The crowd, the entertainment, the stardom, the bringing of happiness. It was a task that Glover could really get used to. No constant threat of danger, the only problem was screwing up in front of millions. His goal was to support this business and show the Life Sphere his amazing ball skills. Glover was not so much concerned with the food though as he was for the competition in front of a crowd of people.

Glover wasted no time in jumping onto the stage as he waited in the shadows. He threw his ball forward to which it rolled along the ground quickly. He then jumped out of the shadows and landed on the ball before bouncing off and doing the splits with his bottom fingers before landing again and bouncing once more into a flip before sticking the landing in a fingerstand.

Glover then watched the crowd and the competition as they talked with one of his allies for this contest. He was not breaking his handstand until the next trick was ready though. The jester guy interested the living glove the most as he seemed silent yet interesting. Glover has been to a circus before but he did not recall a jester... He wondered how enjoyable it would of been compared to that Fangirl Tricerratops he met near Stone Henge... Glover strayed his mind from that memory in exchange for focusing on the show at hand.

Shantae danced onto the scene without a care in the world as to why she was there, but here she was, looking like someone's idea of a hot date. When she stopped dancing and looked at the competition however, she could not help but lampshade courtesy of yours truly.

"it seems like I see a squid baron knock-off, a male Chun-Li lizardman, and a jester who makes the Hypno Baron look good on the outside. Hopefully they can keep up with a belly dancing half-genie otherwise they would pull more muscles than stunts in order to outwit us." shantae quipped, her words giving the three opponents something to worry about in the long run.

Shantae simply got herself ready for a showdown of performing excellence the likes of which could earn her some serious points for her.

The crowd seemed to stop for Glover's performance, more people coming over to see what was going on. Whether it was because of his acrobatics or because excuse me is that an animated glove was not clear.

Jester Guy seemed to take notice of this, raising a single arm and mutely tugging at his sleeve. With a waggle of his fingers, he waved his arms in an arc and a series of rubber balls popped out of his sleeve. He began to juggle the balls as more and more slipped out of his sleeves, until there were, at least, a dozen little rubber balls being juggled about his person. He seemed to watch Glover expectantly, a rather impressive feat for one whose face was hidden entirely behind a mask.

Meanwhile, the crowd was decidedly pleased with Shantae's entrance. Trayce T. began treating the newfound customers to drinks. Business was beginning to boom already, and the group's work had not gone unnoticed.

...However, Shantae's insults seemed to get a mixed result. The crowd loved them, but the three opposing entertainers just sort of eyed each other in confusion for a moment. What had she just called them? The references flew mostly over their heads, leaving them wondering whether they were supposed to be insulted or not.

...And then it happened. One of the three reacted. "WHO THE HELL ARE YOU CALLING A MAN?!" Draco screamed, her face going red with fury. "...Nice one~" Arle murmured, a tad impressed by how quickly Shantae had just escalated the situation. Two little jets of flame erupted from Draco's nose, her fists shaking with rage. "I will end you, brat!" she challenged, spitting a flaming glob of saliva at the ground near her feet.

...The crowd, however, was not impressed by Draco's rage. In fact, it made them a little nervous. Before Draco could ruin their little show by attempting to fry Shantae, however, Suketoudara would reach over and grab the dragon girl by the face, rudely shoving her aside. "Wah!" Draco blurted out as she stumbled over, falling on her tail. Arle was quick to step forward, seizing this opportunity to distract Draco and hopefully prevent a street brawl.

"Don't take it personally, Draco, but I'm still the prettiest girl on Li~"

Arle needed to grab Draco's attention, and to this end she struck a flattering pose and challenged the other with her eyes. It was a challenge Draco could not refuse.

Snapping to attention, Draco hopped to her feet and began striking a rather similar pose to Arle, attempting to one-up her. "Yeah right, Arle. I could take you any day of the week."

...But after her earlier tantrum, she seemed to have a difficult time recovering the crowd's favor. Suketoudara stepped forward, his eyes locked firmly upon Shantae with desire burning brightly in his expression. After watching Shantae move he wanted something from her more than he'd ever wanted anything in his entire life.

"Babe, has anyone ever told you your legs are enchanting?"

Arle could be heard choking a little nearby at the rather questionable choice of words. Suketoudara however, did not wait for a response. "Because your moves are incredible. What do you say we skip all this talk and dance all night long?!" the fish man continued, stepping forward and--without warning--breaking out into a rhythmic dance. For such an awkwardly shaped individual, his moves seemed well practiced and oddly flattering on his stocky figure.

Glover's eyes turned towards Shantae as she entered the scene nowhere as great as he did... Well, in his quite humble opinion. The blue hat in the crowd that was a figment of his imagination said otherwise. Glover was not entirely sure what she was saying that was supposed to be smacktalk either... But it did seem to get a reaction out of the crowd so it was probably incredible.

Glover turned his attention to the jaw... rised given he was upside down.... if you can even call it a jaw. Kind of no bones given the fact he is wearable fabric. Anyway, the Glover pulled out multiple balls and started juggling them and Glover could do nothing but look up... er, down at his single rubber ball. How was he supposed to compete with only one ball? If only Glover knew a Multiball spell...

Glover was not one to give up so easily however. Glover looked to the Jester and a smirk appeared on the sentient glove's face. Glover grabbed the ball and tossed it into the air and spun it on his finger. The ball morphed and changed shape and  properties. Glover stopped as the rubber ball was now a Bowling Ball. Glover ran along the bowling ball quickly towards the jester before kicking it to send it speeding at the jester's feet in an attempt to trip him up and ruin his juggling act.

Whether or not his sabotage was successful, Glover did a come hither finger motion. The Bowling Ball then would come back speeding to Glover after bowling for jesters. Glover caught the ball as it came back to him and did a quick spin on his finger. He then reflexively moved back onto the ball.

Shantae didn't seem to realise that her crude quips earned her a mixed reaction, though out of all three opponents, the jester seemed not to care, the Chun-Li Lizardman attempted to attack her in anger out of being called a man, only to be pushed aside by the fish who openly asked the Half-Genie hero to dance with him


"Looks as though I have a fan, luckily for you I'm in the mood for some dancing, who knows, you and your friends might get a chance to partake in some good dance moves to help in getting rid of all that stress." Shantae said, her eyes glinting at Suketoudara's challenge while Arle kept the green haired hothead preoccupied.

Glover's ball collided with Jester Guy's legs, staggering him and causing him to drop his balls all over the place. The rubber balls rained down at his feet, with Jester Guy making a half-hearted effort to catch one of them before giving up. Just like that, his performance was ruined.

Jester Guy promptly feigned an injury, falling down on his backside and mutely shaking a fist at the heavens in protest of his cruel treatment. Oh woe was he, a humble performer heckled to his knees! He then began to act out a silent drama, placing his face-mask in the palm of one of his hands and averting his gaze as if the sight of the scattered rubber balls offended his pride.

The silent drama seemed to attract some attention from some confused passerby, who were quickly amused by the absurdity of Jester Guy's acting. Nearby, Arle began casting a magic spell. Tiny ice crystal began to swirl about her being, a twister of glittering crystals passing through her hair and descending around her body. The way it made her hair, cape and skirt flutter in the magical wind presented a rather flattering view.

Meanwhile Suketoudara's eyes glimmered with interest as Shantae met his challenge. Rather than try to overshadow her, however, Suketoudara seemed to relent and instead joined in on Shantae's dance, his movements shifting to compliment hers as a duet.

Glover watched the Jester Guy's Retort and he was... miming of all things... Glover watched the dramatic play and was suddenly inspired. He felt the show was very good and a cool idea... but there was one problem with it... You can't put on a show with only one actor. So it was up to Glover to put this one mime act into a mime show. Glover put his fingers to his sides and made a motion as if he was laughing evilly at making the clown drop his balls. Glover then pointed one finger at the jester before pointing to himself before miming a laugh again as if the idea of him outshowing Glover was funny.

He then took the Bowling ball on his finger and spun it until it became a small marble. He then held the marble tightly in his grip as if he was crushing the jester's hopes and dreams.

Shantae was just as astounded at the compliment given to her, mainly because she was a bad role model in terms of attitude and fashion sense.

But hearing about the world becoming a better place through dance was what made her strike a pose that had her jump while spinning in midair.

Jester Guy brushed his sleeves off, several rubber balls spilling out as if on accident. He shrugged helplessly at the display, undermining Shantae's cleaning efforts.

The crowd seemed to approve of Jester Guy's somewhat humble response to the overwhelming style he was up against. However, things were about to take a turn for the violent. Jester Guy fixed his gloves and held a finger up, as if asking Glover to wait. He then held the finger to the lips of his mask, reaching out with his other hand as if to grab Glover from well out of reach. His hand turned, as if twisting something in his palms... But then he stopped. Abruptly pulling in his hand and stretching out his other hand, Jester Guy would reach out in Arle's general direction and clutch at the air, feigning resistance for a moment before decisively clenching his fist. If one listened closely, they could hear Jester Guy whispering something in tandem.

...But while the audience was interested in where this was going, they didn't find her taunts all too impressive. One could tell, just by listening to how defensive Draco's tone of voice was, that her feelings were seriously bruised by the other's remarks. She came off as rather self-conscious, rather than aloof as she was intending. Suketoudara stopped what he was doing mid-dance as he noticed that Arle had passed out in front of them.

The steadily growing crowd appeared to love Souketoudara's oddly balanced pose, failing to realize that he was doing it unintentionally. Trayce T. was starting to have a hard time catering to all of the customers arriving to watch the spectacle! It seemed that Arle, Shantae and Glover were definitely winning this little competition, and it was unclear if anything could bring them down after a performance like that. ...Except... well--They were now down a member. Noteworthily, neither Souketoudara nor Draco appeared to realize who was actually responsible for this.

Glover stood his ground as he watched the jester show up to his ally and prepared himself for the jester's next act. The jester made to look like he was trying to choke Glover. Glover held the part under his mouth for a good few seconds before realizing he was not being choked... Something was going on here and Glover was not sure how he felt before. He could suddenly sense some kind of powerful sinister magic from the jester and Glover was not sure he liked where this was going. This power reminded him way too much of Cross-Stitch for his own comfort as he put on a determined face and stood ready against the Jester Guy.

Then it happened... Glover noticed out of the corner of his eye that Arle did not look like and did a short hop before looking at her. Her eyes rolled up and she just seemed to drop out of the show in that instant. Glover was in shock as he seemed to be the one of the only people to notice this dastardly act. Glover's eyes were widened in shock for a good few moments before his face turned to one of determination. So, this Jester Guy wanted to play cheap by eliminating their friend by turning causing that stress on them. Glover could not stand for this as he turned around to face the evil jester.

Glover decided that two can play at that game and jumped high off his ball and did several flips and turns before ending with a very imaginary gun like pose. He aimed at the Jester as a bright green light shimmered at the tip of his finger as a magical energy built up in his finger. If this evil jester guy wanted to use magic to harm people, Glover was just going to have to punish him with a magic trick of his own. Glover finished holding the shot to glimmer in the pretty light and fired the green spell like a gun at the Jester. This magical bullet was not just any projectile however, this magical bullet possessed the power to turn those it hits into frogs. Glover figured it was a fitting punishment considering the helpless state he put Arle in.

Glover then turned upwards in the same position as if someone was blowing off the heat of a freshly fired gun before flipping and landing back on his ball with an wide pose.

Shantae had noticed arle on the ground unconscious and suketoudara looking nervous as he voiced his concern to draco. But enough about pinning the blame, we cot customers to entertain with our skills." shantae added, before opening her hyperspace arsenal and pulling out something and then closing the hammerspace portal to reveal that she had pulled out a bottle of monster milk and was ready to drink it.

Shantae then went back to her belly dancing so as to keep the people entertained, ensuring she had enough distance to prepare for something truly big that nobody in the crowd wanted to miss. With two characters down, however, it might be difficult for either team to continue building ratings at the rate they might like to. Draco squeezed Arle's wrist in an attempt to wake her, but the young girl was unresponsive. She seemed to be having a fitful sleep, gently tossing as if to resist a foe in her nightmares. Draco dropped Arle's arm and shrugged. "...Dang. Looks like Arle's out!" Suketoudara remarked, a tad baffled. How many times had he seen Arle fight, only to get dropped like that? Sheesh...

The crowd seemed impressed with Shantae's refusal to get into a fight with Draco. Apparently they appreciated a bit of restraint, quite a bit at that! Additionally, Shantae had no trouble convincing Souketoudara to believe her. The fish man puzzled over the situation, glancing at Jester Frog for a moment, before decidedly shrugging his arms. "You're right! So let's give these customers something to rave about!" Suketoudara replied, upping his tempo to a feverish pitch as he joined Shantae in complementing her dancing.

Nearby, Draco just sort of shrugged helplessly at the situation before joining in to show off her fiery beauty. Spitting fire, she began to perform an elegant and exotic fire dance, the flames twirling around her body harmlessly as she background danced for the other two.

Glover smiled as the Jester was froggified by his magic spell. However, there was still a problem as Arle seemed down for the count. Glover looked sad as he could not stand to see the fellow stage magician down for the count. If only there was something that can be done to bring her back into the fight... But the jester's magic seemed to knock her out cold and there was nothing that could be done. It is sad to see someone fall to such a... evil... force...

The gears cranked up as Glover suddenly got a brilliant idea. He had solved an evil spell that turned his master to stone before! Well, Arle's state of sleep did not seem that much different from the evil spell from before. He could feel the magic gems somewhere in the air as he put all his hope into them. With their power, he can save Arle just like he saved his wizard that while back.

Wasting no time, Glover put the ball on his finger and spun it once again. However, this time it instantly became a green gem and did not change as it spun on Glover's Finger. He continued spinning the magic crystal as six more gems started to circle around Glover. The green gem on Glover's finger started to glow golden as it's magical power began to escalate severely. The golden glow glowed brighter and brighter until it took over the whole stage as Glover attempted to use the cleansing light to cure the dark spell off Arle while putting on quite a show.

The glow disappeared and it would seem Glover's plan to save Arle worked. Glover was so happy he could just burst into gymnastics. In fact, with his now shiny golden ball on hand, he thinks he will. Glover slipped the ball a few feet behind him before backflipping several times. He increased his bounds with each backwards leap until he landed on the Golden Ball. Glover then did a little one finger spin on the sparkly golden magic ball before performing a bow to Arle.

Shantae was just as amazed at how good a dancer draco was and she was clear for another wish attempt, but held it in so as to ensure that it was timed to go off alongside her ultimate when it was time.

"I didn't know you were a dancer, maybe when we next meet I could take a crack at that fire dance." shantae said in utter amazement, not wanting to turn this into a dance off between her and two of Arles friendly rivals.
