And there waits the angel's trophy to this day, under the weeping eyes of Skyword, waiting for someone to come along, find him and revive him so that he may rise again and resume his duties.
Storied History:

Primary Attacks(3):
Palutena Bow –Pit’s signature weapon, a sacred bow crafted by the goddess Palutena herself.
Pit can fire arrows made of light energy and can even control their trajectory after they’ve left his bow. The bows shots gain in speed the further they travel. The arrows are about as damaging as an average laser beam, but these arrows make up for this with their speed and manoeuvrability. These shots use Dexterity as their attack modifier.
Palutena Bow (Melee Mode) – Pit splits up the bow into two dual blades for hand to hand, or rather, sword to sword combat.
He holds one sword in his right hand and one in his left in a reverse grip. He may hold them like this so he can shift between a bow and swords without missing a beat. The halves of Palutena’s Bow use Strength as their attack modifier in this form.
Upperdash Arm – Pit arms himself with an Arm and dashes fist first into enemies.
The Upperdash Arm is outfitted with a disc-shaped device that fires ring shaped shots. This arm’s specialty is its melee dash attack rather than its shots. Pit sends foes skyward with melee dash attacks from the Upperdash Arm. The Upperdash Arm uses Strength as its attack modifier.
Special Attacks(3):
Guardian Orbitars – Pit protects himself his Guadian Orbitars.
The Guardian Orbitars are a pair of shield shaped Orbitars that float beside Pit’s shoulders and specialize in defense. It’s a good thing they can float on their own. They actually weigh a ton!
Their charged shot raises a shield that protects Pit by reflecting enemy fire. After throwing up a this shield, Pit can switch to continuous fire from behind it. The Guardian Orbitars use Wisdom as their attack modifier.
Power of Flight – Embarrassingly, Pit is an angel who cannot properly fly on his own. Instead, the Power of Flight is a gift granted to him by Palutena, or any present god willing to lend Pit a wing. This flight can reach any height in any direction, even space is not off limits. Half of Pit’s adventures tend to be spent using this power to travel and engage in areal combat.
However, this power has a strict time limit of five minutes time. If Pit uses the Power of Flight for any longer than five minutes, his wings will burn up and he will fall. And down will come Kid Icarus, hearts, bows and all.
Centurion Summon – Pit is the captain of Palutena’s Royal Guard, and thus has access to her troops whenever he needs them.
Centurions fly through the air, attacking enemies in great numbers. While their attacks are weak, their flying ability far exceeds Pit's. They might not be the sharpest arrows in the quiver, or the brightest bows, but their loyalty to Pit is rivaled only by his own devotion to his duties under Palutena.
Ultimate Attack(1):
Three Sacred Treasures – Pit equips the Three Sacred Treasures: the Arrow of Light, Wings of Pegasus and the Mirrow Shield.
The Wings of Pegasus allow Pit to fly freely under his own control.
Shots fired from Arrow of Light travel at blinding light speed and will automatically home in on enemies. They’re even powerful enough to destroy the normally invulnerable Ornes!
The Mirror Shield blocks and reflects all forms of attacks, particularly light and magic-based attacks. The Mirror Shield can reflect Medusa’s stone stare, so it might even shield against ESP.
The Three Sacred Treasures are... well, sacred, and are not to be used for any longer than 5 turns, lest the ancient weapons be worn and torn.
Friends:
Palutena's Army, Palutena, The Centurions, Magnus
Allies:
The Forces of Nature, Viridi, Poseidon, the Chariot Master, Lord Dyntos,
Rivals:
Dark Pit, Phosphera
Enemies:
The Underworld Army, Medusa, Twinbellows, Hewdraw, Pandora, Thanotos, Hades, the Chaos Kin
Any Other Information:
Pit is an angel who unfortunately, can’t fly on his own. Don’t underestimate him however, for this little guy managed to somehow become captain the goddess Palutena’s Royal Guard, officially outranking legions of angels who Can fly.
Despite his youthful appearance, Pit is a skilled and seasoned warrior and actually well over the age of 30. His signature skills are archery, but since the time he singlehandedly saved Angel Land by taking down Medusa the Goddess of Darkness, Pit’s expanded his repertoire of weapons to Arms, Blades, Claws, Clubs, Cannons, Orbitars, Palms and Staffs. Pit has no problem fighting monsters and even gods many times his own size and winning.
Accurate to his appearance however, Pit is still a kid at heart. After all these years he retained a child’s sense of wonder and a very active sense of humor. He’s been described by others as being “unbearably cheerful” and “insufferably upbeat” to which he replies that he’s just stays positive. His unwavering loyalty in Palutena unfortunately leaves him gullible at times and wide open to pranks at his expense.
Regardless to how many times she messes with him, even on the job, Pit’s devotion and loyalty to Palutena is absolute.
Judging by his surprising knowledge of Nintendo trivia, there are hints that he might be an avid gamer in his spare time.
On or off the battlefield, Pit has been known to eat anything, even ice cream off the floor.
