The scene wasn't a pretty one. Peach's once glorious castle was looking a bit more shabby than ever before, and it didn't look like any remodeling had gotten done on the approach. In fact, the front doors looked like they had been forced in by something that had no business trying to fit through them. Unfortunately, judging a book by its cover would be a bit of an understatement in this case. Rather than a party in her honor, the scene of a recent battle awaited Rosalina at the castle.

A rather imposing group of figures was gathered around the fallen figure of Princess Peach, who was currently wrestling with one of the figures for control of Perry's handle.

"I'll be takin' this, see?" Popple grunted as he attempted to wrestle Perry from Peach's grip. "Nooo!" Peach cried out, clutching the sentient umbrella so tightly that Popple began to drag her along the floor. "H-Hey, what's with all the manhandling?!" Perry blurted out in frustration. Popple dragged Peach a couple of feet before Peach curled around Perry and began kicking at Popple with her high heels. The thief, decidedly not dissuaded by her response but understandably put off by the high heels kicking him, eyed the nearest shiny thing he could get his hands on. Popple freed one of his hands and snatched the crown before promptly whacking Peach over the head with it, using this painful and decidedly humiliating distraction to wrench Perry from the princess' hands.

"Hey, hey. Easy with the princess!" Bowser Jr. snapped. "You don't see me bruising your loot, do you?" he continued, jabbing his large paintbrush in Popple's general direction. A non-descript magikoopa was flanking Bowser Jr.

Popple's eyes shifted away mischievously. "Right..." he replied half-heartedly. "L-Let go of me, you jerk!" Perry stammered out. He didn't appreciate being handled without permission, especially by someone with a touch so much less... gentle than the princess'. Perry began to wildly flap, pulling Popple back across the floor in an effort to free himself. Popple vigorously shook Perry in response, foiling Perry's efforts and disorientating him. The shadow thief then proceeded to inspect Perry incredulously. Could he even sell this? He was starting to have second thoughts about keeping it. "If I was tryin' to hurt her, I would've sic'd Rookie on her!" Popple reassured Bowser Jr. rather light-heartedly. Petey Pirahna grinned toothily down at Peach, but the princess' mind was elsewhere.

"I am no one's loot and... Give... Him... BACK!" Peach shouted, her shrill soprano tones a tad inadequate for the purposes of intimidation. Fortunately, she wasn't relying on them. Peach's body erupted in flames and the group of baddies flinched, turning to address the princess as she lunged towards Popple with rage in her eyes. Unfortunately or Peach, Popple was one step ahead of her. He simply held Perry up between himself and the charging princes, Perry's frightened face getting Peach's as she came down. The princess couldn't help herself. She relented, the flames dying away almost immediately. For her efforts, Popple swiped her away using Perry as a club. Peach fell on her bottom nearby and just sort of sulked in defeat where she landed.

"Come on, Princess! You h-have to fight!" Perry pleaded.

"I can't..." Peach murmured in reply. There were simply too many of them, and she couldn't bring herself to hurt Perry. Not to mention, she was already feeling more than a little bit of pain and discomfort! Where was a hero when you needed them?

Rosalina walked to the castle with her blue Luma following her. Rosalina was kind of sad to see it in such a state even worst than her observatory. Still, she was invited to it for some reason so she may as well honor a royal invitation. The Luma watched Rosalina as she kneeled in front of the tree where her mother was buried, thankfully still in tact. She was not sure if she was still there or not but she did not want to go the lengths to find out. Rosalina shed a respectful tear before looking to Peach's Castle on the horizon.

Rosalina floated towards the entrance with the Luma following until they both heard noise coming from inside. They quickly floated to the left wall of the entrance and listened in. It sounded as if there was a struggle between Perry and Peach and some weird sounding man. While he did not sound familiar, the next voice was certainly recognizable. Bowser Jr. seemed to be in on this and was after Peach. Rosalina knew she could not let that child get his way and there was no time to find help.

The Guardian of the Galaxies looked up to the second floor windows of the castle and nodded to her Luma. The Luma knew what mama wanted and flew up to the 2nd floor and opened a window quietly. He floated in with Rosalina following. The gang of bad guys seemed to be focusing on Peach so they probably weren't going to look at the 2nd floor landing of the staircase. "Ready?" Rosalina said telepathicly to her Luma as she held her wand. The Luma nodded and prepped itself as it was launched like a missle off the 2nd floor and right at Popple to catch him off guard and maybe make him drop Perry on impact.

Rosalina then jumped through the air at the foe closest to Peach aside from Fawful, Petey Pirahna, and swung her dress upwards to strike him with space itself.

Rosalina then landed on the ground and lifted her wand up to create a protective bubble around Peach that should help her endure any additional blows.

"It really takes all of you to feel confident enough for one Princess? I have watched over the galaxies for centuries and one thing comes to mind. You are truly a pathetic group of villains," Rosalina stated.

Popple was no stranger to thievery. He was paranoid the moment he entered Princess Peach's castle. However, he was just slightly too slow picking up on what was going on to dodge Rosalina's attack. His head turned just as Rosalina's luma struck him, knocking him over. Perry spilled from his hands, but the parasol had very limited locomotion on his own.

Nearby, Petey Pirahna just sort of stood there grinning like an idiot as Rosalina dropped down on him. He wobbled unsteadily and growled out something of a complaint as he toppled backward. Petey began to flail, still unsure as to what had hit him even as it dropped before his very face. Princess Peach's sulking form was encapsulated by Rosalina's protective bubble and her sniffling stopped. The wide-eyed princess looked up in surprise. Someone had... heard her wish? Wow! Usually, she had to wait for at least eight levels for Mario to save her! "Rosalina!" she called out in distress.

"What's this?!" Popple asked, grinding his teeth in frustration as he pulled himself to his feet. "Oh, you think you're so clever sneaking up on me, huh? Don't think that's going to work again, 'cuz it's my time to shine, see?" he remarked, making a break for Perry. Peach, seeing this and being close enough to do something about it, also makes a break for Perry.

Princess Peach, ever desperate for the return of her beloved friend, was a bit faster than Popple and managed to scoop Perry protectively into her arms, aggressively shifting her weight and plowing into Popple derriere-first. The thief was sent sprawling backward, bumping into the fallen Petey Pirahna. "...Rookie! Stop slacking off and cream this witch!" Popple yelled, the butt attack having done no favors for his already nasty disposition.

"Oh please. When I give Peach to my papa, it'll make him happier than you can imagine!" Bowser Jr. retorted, his eyes glimmering with dreams of his own. A large cannon emerged from the mouth of his clown car, pointed directly at Rosalina. Without any further warning, Bowser Jr. shot off a large cannonball at Rosalina. His loyal magikoopa joined in by firing off one of it's enigmatic spells at Rosalina.

Nearby, Petey Pirahna was... decidedly unable to get up, for the moment. Popple turned on Peach, who still clung to Perry ever so protectively, and closed in on her. The beanish thief struck out with an open palm!

Popple struck Peach hard! ...But Rosalina's shield absorbed the entirety of the blow. The princess flinched but was safe ... for now. Popple deposited Peach's crown in his loot sack. "We have to help Rosalina!" Perry blurted out, but Peach was recovering from the past series of events.  She needed a bit more time to regain her composure before she would be able to take risks again.

It seemed Rosalina's sneak attack worked wonderfully as Petey was grounded and Perry was knocked away from Popple. Rosalina left Peach to get Perry though as Bowser Jr commanded her attention. It would seem even during times like these the Koopas could not keep their hands off Princess Peach. It was a truly sad picture as Rosalina gave an audible sigh. "Times like these we are supposed to be working together, not kidnapping. I assume your father realizes that as much as I. However if you wish to continue such childish antics, I will stop them," Rosalina replied. As the Cannonball and spell sped at her she realized she would have no time to teleport away. Instead she waved her wand around to control gravity with Gravitational Pull. If she focused hard enough, she had a slim chance of reflecting both.

The pull of Gravity around Rosalina shone as it bounced the magic spell back at the magic as it spun around her before flying back at the magikoopa. The center of gravity was not strong enough to slow the cannonball though as it's speed broke through the gravity and hit her square in the chest and knocked her down as well as the air out of her. That cannonball really hurt. Fortunately enough, Petey was still down for the count.

The Blue Luma seemed to be ignored by everyone now and watched as Peach and Popple fought. The Luma could not take the thief picking on the poor princess and decided to strike back. "Choose someone else to pick on, you jerk!" The Luma said before winding up a punch and attempting to hit the thief in the back of the head while he was focusing on Peach.

Rosalina stood up from the blow and gave deep breaths. She lifted her wand and with a flick a bag of Halloween Candy appeared. She waved her wand as 5 pieces of candy flew out of the bag. She flicked her wand and then the 5 pieces of candy teleported right to Peach. "You might need those to regain your strength. Do not worry, I have plenty," Rosalina offered before making the bag disappear and looking to the Magikoopa and Bowser Jr. She shot 2 star bits at Bowser Jr. and Magikoopa in an attempt to stun both with the candy's power.

Rosalina then took it whether it stunned or proved a distraction and summoned a Launch Star around herself and then firing herself as a projectile at Bowser Jr and the Clown Car to try and knock him out of the flying weapon arsenal with the force.

The magikoopa attempted to teleport out of the way, but the reflected spell interrupted his efforts and popped explosively in his face. The Magkioopa got back up and loyally trudged back to Bowser Jr's side. Bowser Jr. scoffed irritably at Rosalina's retort. "Yeah, well... My papa's great enough to save the world and have his princess too! Huh? Did you ever think of that?" he retorted awkwardly. It was clear that the child was flustered by Rosalina's words.

Meanwhile, Popple deftly side-stepped Luma's punch. He reached back to strike the pillowy star in retaliation, only to hesitate. No pockets, no jewels, not even a pants. This one had nothing to steal! He sneered, backpedaling past Luma. "I don't want your broad, see?" he mocked, grinning wickedly at Luma as he spun to confront Peach once again. "But I will take this!" he remarked, lunging forward and attempting to strike through Peach's barrier one more time.

Rosalina's barrier was unable to hold Popple back this time and Peach just sort of braced for impact, clutching Perry ever so tightly to protect him from those thieving hands. But... the pain never came. Peach felt a tug upon her chest, but nothing more. She opened her eyes, only to spot Popple dashing away from her at a frenzied pace. She spotted her brooch in his hands moments before he shoved it into his loot bag. Peach's expression contorted in something between fury and anguish. First her crown, and now her brooch? "M-My mother gave me that!" she protested, her tone making it clear that the brooch meant a great deal to her. Before the rage and or grief could really start flowing, however, the sensation of two tiny feet tapping upon her bosom drew Peach crosseyed. Peach felt her blood run cold as she discovered the flailing figure of a lit bob-omb now hung where her brooch had used to be. The ensuing explosion knocked Peach flat on her back.

"B-Bummer..." Peach stammered out, just a tad winded. By the looks of things, she'd seen much better days--or perhaps she was just staying down to persuade the others not to attack her anymore. ...Probably a bit of both. She had invited Rosalina here to celebrate, but now Rosalina was in danger again... She quietly blamed herself for this. Some party this had turned out to be.

Meanwhile, the two koopas both dove out of the way of the starbits. It turned out that Bowser Jr's clown car was quite agile!

However, Bowser Jr wasn't quite prepared for an entire woman launching at him at such high speeds. With a yelp, he was yanked out of his clown car and thrown before Rosalina's feet. The young... prodigy hopped to his feet and produced a hammer to defend himself, only to flinch as the aforementioned explosion rang out. Bowser Jr narrowed his eyes at Popple and the fallen princess. He was decidedly distracted. "Soldier! Rescue her!" Bowser Jr called out and his loyal magikoopa promptly vanished into thin air.

As this was all going on, Petey Pirahna managed to right himself. He lunged through the air towards Rosalina, coming down at her with frightening speed and mass in an attempt to crush her!

Meanwhile, Bowser Jr took this opportunity to try and scurry his way past Rosalina to get back to his clown car.

Nearby, a wounded Peach forced herself to sit up and accept the candies. Popple eyed her jealously, but she promptly tossed the candies into the air before catching them in her mouth and swallowing them to keep him from going after her. The candy's sweet taste helped revive her, her eyes glimmering with renewed hope and vigor. "Rosalina..!" she called out, staggering back to her feet and approaching Rosalina cautiously in an attempt to reunite with her only ally. Being surrounded by enemies was awful!

Rosalina gave a stern look to Bowser Jr at his rather childish reply. Bowser Jr seemed to be very spoiled in person and did not seem to get the weight of the situation. After striking Bowser Jr out of his hovercraft Rosalina was a little worried by the sudden sound of an explosion. She looked over and seen Peach worrying about a pendant that was apparently given to her by her mother.

Rosalina noticed her spot got a little darker however and looked back to notice the Pirahna Plant known as Petey. He looked like he was about to try and put all her body weight on her!

Rosalina was not fast enough to dive out of the way and the lower portion of her back was under the Pirahna Plant's weight. Rosalina then noticed Bowser Jr running towards his little clown car... Wait, the Clown Car! Rosalina focused on the Clown and used her cosmic powers to manipulate the center of gravity. This time using it as a pull for items, the force of the gravity tugged at Popple's Bag and the Clown Car and tried to pull them both towards Rosalina at high speeds. Hopefully the force of the Clown Car ramming into Petey would knock him off.

The Luma was annoyed when Popple not only ignored him but also stole and harmed Mama's friend! He was distracted however by the sound of a large crash from the other side of the room. The blue Luma looked over and was shocked to see Mama under the huge plant! "Mama!" The Luma cried before flying towards Rosalina, briefly forgetting Popple.

Peach emitted a shrill gasp as Petey crashed down on Rosalina. Seeing the other princess trapped underneath Petey, she couldn't help but cringe. That looked... wildly uncomfortable, to say the least.

Meanwhile, Bowser's Jr's clown kart began floating away from him to his immense frustration. The young prince chased his cart for a moment before just sort of stopping in his tracks. A growl escaped his throat and he stomped on the ground in frustration. "What is this?!" Bowser Jr demanded of no one in particular. He'd never personally witnessed either of the two' girls using anything resembling telekinesis before, but he quickly caught on when his attention turned to where his kart was going. Off to the side, Popple's loot bag was jerked from his greedy little fingers and the thief just sort of did a double take. Both the loot bag and the clown kart crashed into Petey, hitting him hard.

...Yet, Petey did not fall or stagger. He remained firmly planted atop Rosalina, applying his crushing weight to her! Popple skidded into view before Rosalina, grinning in a less than earnest manner. "Who do you think you are, stealing from the Great Popple?!" he demanded, brandishing his fists. "Rookie! Pancake this palooka!" Popple ordered. "And I'll be taking this, see?" he finished, reaching out to nab Rosalina's crown. Rosalina would be able to see Peach rushing Popple from behind at that moment.

In his fury, Popple failed to notice the clickity clack of high heels rushing towards him until it was too late. Peach towered over Popple, bringing her arms back with Perry in hand before swinging Perry like a golf club. The pair hit Popple extremely hard, sending him flying into the ceiling. Popple crashed back down onto the floor nearby. It looked like he was having a little trouble getting back up, for now. Peach bent down to try and help Rosalina, but as she did this Magikoopa abruptly appeared and grabbed her by the waist! The loyal koopa attempted to pick Peach up...

Peach's eyes widened as she was grabbed, but the magikoopa was no Bowser. Peach swung her hips hard, throwing the magikoopa off balance before swinging her hips again to throw him off of her. Bowser Jr was next, however, immediately jumping on Peach's back as she threw the magikoopa off. "Butt out~!" Perry chimed in.

Peach wasn't having any of it, however, and although she was clearly struggling greatly with how many attacks were aimed her way she managed to pull Bowser Jr off of her. "...You have been a very bad boy!" Peach scolded angrily, smacking Bowser Jr rather hard to send him sprawling. Peach then spun on her heels and lunged to strike Petey right on his enormous outie belly button. Petey had noticed what was going on, however, and reached down to stop Peach!

...Petey was just a tad bit too slow reacting, however, and Perry slammed into his belly button with shocking force. A shudder ran down Petey's body and he just sort of wobbled for a moment before falling over with a loud crash. Princess Peach would crouch down and help Rosalina up. "I'm sorry; this is all my fault, isn't it?" Peach murmured. What had just occurred was frankly incredible, but Rosalina would likely notice that Peach was trembling a bit after it all. It didn't seem like she had another stunt like that in her. ...Did she? "What just happened..??" Bowser Jr asked no one in particular as he got back up, a nice red slap mark present on his cheek.

Though both of the tools hit Petey they did not make him budge at all. It would seem she was still stuck under this over sized plant. Rosalina gave a sigh before looking up and noticed the thief was came over. Why was he focusing on her now?... Oh, she must of accidently gravitated his bag as well when pulling the Clown Car over. She could not do much as he reached for her crown and just embraced herself...

But nothing happened. Not even the weight of her crown being lifted was felt. Rosalina opened her eyes to see Fawful flying away from the golf club. Peach stepped in right in time and at the perfect moment. It would seem that Magikoopa was waiting for an opportunity though and tried to lift Peach. That ended in failure though and Peach seemed to be keeping them at bay by herself. Rosalina tried to struggle out from underneath Petey but he was too heavy and Rosalina was not strong enough.

Bowser Jr jumped Peach too as the Luma quickly came to his Mama. He tried to pull her hand out while everyone was distracted but the star kid was not strong enough. Peach took quick care of Bowser Jr however and even managed to knock Petey off. She continued laying there for a few seconds in complete shock at Peach's heroic assault. She quickly took Peach up on her offered hand to get pulled back to her feet.

Then the Princess of the Mushroom Kingdom apologized for the events that have been happening. "Do not fret, Peach. This is in no way your fault. The attack on you was unforeseen and you must not beat yourself up over it. Right now the important issue is your attackers. We should deal with them quickly," Rosalina reassure before looking up. It was too dangerous to perform her Final Smash in here. She could easily destroy what's left of Peach's castle if she used the Black Hole and the Comet Observatory. That just meant they had to work together all the more though.

That was when a thought occurred to Rosalina. "And to do that we have to work together," Rosalina said as she pulled out 3 Mr. Saturns from seemingly nowhere. "These Mr. Saturns seem willing to be used as weapons. I questioned them on it but they seem fine with the help. I am going to toss the Saturns to you so you can hit them with your frying pan at the enemies. I will then recall them with my Gravity Pull? Sound good?" Rosalina asked before waiting for an agreement.

Rosalina then would toss the Saturns one by one into the air for Peach to smack at the invaders. Once all the Saturns either hit or miss, Rosalina would then wave her wand to recall them and potentially hitting on the way back if it missed. The Gravity Pull would also incidently try to pull Bowser Jr's Super Mushroom away from him and to Rosalina.

Princess Peach's eyes lit up with gratitude in response to Rosalina's words. One could just see the frustration drain from her features as the other reassured her of her innocence. One could hear Bowser Jr complaining loudly in the distance. "Are you kidding me?!" he demanded. The princess gently brushed a few tears from her eyes and smiled at Rosalina. She seemed like she had regained her composure. "You're right..." Peach replied softly, turning on her high heels and producing a frying pan from the folds of her dress. She pointed it at the group of villains. "Let's show these common koopas some girl power!"

Bowser Jr flinched at Peach's battle cry. What had she just called him?! Peach stepped back, holding her frying pan like a baseball bat and one by one smacking the Mr. Saturns as Rosalina threw them to her. Popple was quick to hide behind Petey, but the remaining three enemies were beaned hard by the Mister Saturns. Petey, in particular, stood no chance, and the groans of pain echoed throughout the foyer as the Mr. Saturns flew about. Bowser Jr was the first to pick himself back up. "I'll show you who's common!" he remarked, holding up his Super Mushroom!

...only for it to comically slip out of his hands moments before he could bite into it. Bowser Jr looked on in disbelief as the mushroom flew right into Rosalina's hands. ""N-Not fair..!" he whined rather pathetically. Princess Peach ignored the whine, running out to meet the two koopas. The magikoopa, not the sturdiest of foes, was looking pretty weak. She promptly scooped him up with Perry and the parasol opened his mouth wide, the magikoopa vanishing in one swift gulp. "Nom!"

Peach turned her gaze upon Bowser Jr, placing Perry back over her shoulder and giving him a look of disapproval. At this time a couple of toads wheeled a cart with an ornate cake on it into the foyer. The toads just sort of looked around in confusion. "Uh... Cake?" one of them asked the princess, not sure what to make of the scene before them. "...I'm not sure I'm going have an appetite for dessert." Peach replied rather casually, quirking a brow at Bowser Jr questioningly.

Bowser Jr recoiled at the display, throwing his arms up. "Actually, I've had a change of heart! You're on your own, Popple." the young prince replied nervously, turning and just sort of backpedaling towards his clown car. It seemed like he intended to flee.

"BOO! BOO, I say!"

Popple's voice exploded from across the room, the thief poking his head out from behind Petey. His expression had twisted into a comical grimace. "I can't believe it! I Popple, filcher of the world's riches, am surrounded by bumbleheaded ninnies!" Popple snapped. Petey began getting back up beside him, attracting Popple's attention The thief grinned. "Rookie! Remember that bros move I taught you? Do that. I'll show you clods who's boss, see?!" Popple growled, hopping into the air. Petey caught Popple and pulled his leafy arm back, violently tossing Popple at Rosalina. The soaring thief was going to bounce, if not off of Rosalina than off a wall, right back at Petey. The mutant piranha plant would then smack Popple back at the girls, repeating this for three attacks at both princesses!

Peach was taken off guard and struck thrice by the duo's amazing moves. She staggered and nearly fell each time. One could see the weakness with which she held herself, as well as Perry. By the looks of it, she was very close to going down for the count. Popple landed nearby, breathing heavily. He wasn't looking any better than the princess. Petey, however, looked like he had some fight left in him and was now eyeing the cake the toads had wheeled in with interest.

Rosalina gave a nod at Peach with a smile as she agreed to her plan. The plan seemed successful too as Rosalina caught each Mr. Saturn as they returned to her. A welcome surprise on something coming to her was Bowser Jr's Mushroom which she caught in her hand and thought of how to use it. It seemed Peach quickly dealt with the Magikoopa as well.

Rosalina gave a surprised look that was only slightly different from her normal look when a cake was wheeled in by a few toads. "Oh, cake! It looks yummy!" The Luma exclaimed. Was that why Peach invited her to her castle? Either way, Peach's comment seemed to get to Bowser Jr. and he ran to his car as if he was leaving. Well, she had no reason to hold him back since there was no point in finishing him off.

Rosalina looked at the mushroom in thought until she was suddenly knocked to the ground by something. She shook her head as she tried to figure it out. Right after that she got nailed in the back and fell forwards. She realized now it was Popple that was hitting her and teleported out of the way before the final blow.

Rosalina took out the bag of candy and took out 6 pieces to which she handed to Peach. The bag was more than halfway empty now but she had two more. "Eat these and keep your strength up. We are almost done," Rosalina said before taking out a Golden Bone. "Okay, Cosmo, we need your help," Rosalina announced before throwing the gold bone forwards. A bark was heard before suddenly a dog leaped out of the floor and landed with a panting as he caught the bone.

The Polterpup then noticed the plant and had taken an interest in Petey. The dog ran towards the Pirahna Plant and jumped into the air and prepared to pounce him to the ground.

Peach caught the candies and popped them into her mouth without a moment's hesitation. Clearly her belly was the source of all of her power, for she immediately held herself with a bit more strength. "Thank you, Rosalina~!" she chirped. Within a moment, Petey burst into a rather impressive run for someone his size and inadvertently dodged Cosmo's pounce. His tongue lolled about wildly as he rushed the unfortunate toads, attacks impacting his body but not managing to slow down the colossal piranha plant. The toads began to run in circles and flail their arms wildly in a panic, not wanting any of what Petey was bringing to the table.

Meanwhile, Rosalina's luma managed to catch Popple off guard, impacting the tired thief but failing to bring him to his knees. Popple scowled at the luma, but before he could retaliate Rosalina's revived ally had a bit of input. Peach conjured up a magical ribbon, twirling it around gracefully before rapidly whipping the ribbon at both Petey and Popple in quick succession.

Popple was smacked across the face by the ribbon, sending him toppling down to the ground. The shadow thief groaned but was unable to pull himself back up. He seemed to be down for the count. The other ribbon Peach launched at Petey, wrapping around his legs and snapping tight. To no one's surprise more than Petey's, Petey began to topple face first into the ground. Somewhere inside of her, Peach had found the strength to overpower him. The mutated piranha plant just sort of went still for a moment before beginning to throw a tantrum, lashing his arms and legs about wildly in response to being denied his snack. "That cake is for... Rosalina!" Peach scolded her efforts on keeping Petey from resuming his charge. "Yeah! Get your own cake!" Perry would then remark. Peach considered Perry's suggestion for a moment. ...Y'know, maybe that wasn't such a bad idea! Unfortunately, she did not have another cake and was unwilling to give away her gift to Rosalina.

"Smell ya' later~!" Bowser Jr shouted out as he sped away in his clown car, the car licking up Popple as it passed. Apparently he had decided to leave Petey behind.

Rosalina let out a gasp as the plant ran past the dog and continued heading towards the cake. The Luma was not able to take down the rude thief either despite his punch hitting. The luma let a frown across his face as both the thief and plant were unhindered. It looks like he won't get a delicious piece of that cake either since the plant seemed too much to take down.

Fortunately they were both handled rather swiftly by Peach. The Luma's frown changed to one of sheer joy as the mean bean was taken down. The luma could not help but dance around on Popple's fallen form. "For me?" Rosalina repeated in a bit of surprise. She was always in space and doing things for her Lumas. It was rare to get someone else to give her an act of kindness.

The Luma stopped it's dancing as it saw Bowser Jr flying his way. The young star child jumped out of the way as Bowser Jr swooped up the meanie. Rosalina did not care for his escape since he deserved a lesson in manners... But it was better than being as violent as he was. Finally there was Petey as the last one standing. Rosalina wanted to end this quickly so she pulled out two items, one being the a piece of a Fallen Star that she found in Luigi's Mansion. Then she pulled out a normal looking Assist Trophy that was actually very special. She looked to the star that can grant wishes and decided in this case it should be better used to finish it quickly. She threw the fallen star at Petey so it would explode on the plant.

Rosalina then lifted up the Assist Trophy Generator and thought up who to summon. "Ax Battler!" Rosalina said before a bright glow encompassed the room before a barbarian appeared to assist the two ladies.



The mighty barbarian stared down Petey before letting out a war cry. He then charged toward the plant and did a small jump before punching the ground to cause Stalagmites to come up and hopefully pierce the evil plant.

Petey continued to flail and scream in protest of his treatment until he noticed something radical shooting right for him. The piranha plant attempted to struggle to his feet, using his overwhelming brute strength to throw Peach off of him!

...But it was no use. Try as he might, the princess' magic had put him in an awkward and crippling position. "Yes! I baked that cake just for you!" Peach replied as she wrestled to keep Petey down. Petey groaned mournfully and reached out in the general direction of the not-quite-close-enough-to-reach cake as a shooting star plowed into him. The explosion was great, rocking the foundation of the castle a bit whilst rocking Petey's world even harder. The poor rookie was struck, slashed and bounced upon, and by that time...

...He was finished. Petey had gone still where he laid, his flowers wilting. The poor thing had only wanted some cake! ...And probably to snack on some lovely princesses, but you know. Cake! Upon realizing that Petey was down for the count, Peach released him and let loose a sigh of relief. She meandered over and began fishing through Popple's abandoned loot bag, pulling out her crown, her brooch and a tiny little treasure chest emblazoned with a star shaped lock. It wasn't quite clear how one was supposed to open it, as the lock had no key hole. Shifting the chest into her arms, Princess Peach would then turn and make her way over to Rosalina. "I wanted to hold a party in your honor, so I asked for some help restoring my castle. But then they showed up instead, and..." Peach began softly, turning her head away guiltily. She seemed to push this thought to the back of her head after a moment, though.

"But... You've been a great friend to me and my kingdom in the hour of our greatest need. Thanks to you my castle and I stand to see another day free from harm. And for that, I can't tell you how grateful I am... I'd like to try, though." Peach explained, shifting the chest in her arms meaningfully.

Peach would raise the chest to her own chest, the star-shaped lock sparkling in recognition of a magical current and popping open. A beautiful golden glow greeted Rosalina from within the chest, a starman gazing out at her from inside. It was nestled against a plush red pillow within the chest, which appeared to have been designed specifically with housing the star in mind. They were precious items, you know! "I want you to have this, and this..." Peach explained, leaning in to transfer the chest to Rosalina's arms. She didn't stop there, however, leaning further in and planting a kiss upon Rosalina's cheek. A little magical heart rose from Peach on contact, an uncontrolled expression of her gratitude bursting forth emotively.1d20+7·1d20+5·2d20+65

Rosalina was glad Peach was somehow able to hold the plant down and put her wand down to her side as Petey wilted. Cosmo came over to Rosalina who knelt and petted the phantom mutt with a warm smile. The luma meanwhile started dancing around the cake. He would not dare touch it though since it was apparently for mama and he did not want to take without permission.

Rosalina stood up and looked to Peach as she came back with a box of some sort. Rosalina looked down to Peach as she spoke about why Bowser Jr and his cohorts were here to begin with. So she attracted unwanted attention when trying to repair her castle for Rosalina. The Space Guardian was not sure she could really accept the gift though for doing what was needed to be done. It would probably hurt Peach more to not take the star though so she was better off accepting the gracious gift.

"Thank you, Peach. I did not ex-" Rosalina began as she did not really put much thought into Peach saying there was two things as she reached for the box. Her usually calm and reserved demeanor shattered for a moment as her face turned red from the sudden kiss. She was mostly heated because she was not expecting that show of gratitude in the slightest. Sure, she did it to Mario all the time... But she was never expecting to receive a kiss from the Princess of the Mushroom Kingdom. Li has brought some unexpected encounters she would never have expected to have had she not crashed here.

After the brief moment was up, Rosalina's complexion returned to normal. She took a few seconds to regain her composure. It has probably been centuries since she last had a kind kiss like that... The last person she remembered doing that was her mom... "I will accept your gracious gift... I thank you for your kindness," Rosalina said with her modesty returning. "... If it is okay, later I want to show you something of importance to me. I doubt many of you know about it... I am certain though I can share it with you," Rosalina offered with a warm smile.

Princess Peach would beam at Rosalina ever so warmly as she pulled back, those eyes of hers glimmering with unabashed adoration. She would wait quietly, her now empty hands folded before her, as Rosalina regained her composure. She could see something in Rosalina's eyes that told her the other needed a moment. A hint of worry entered her own eyes, but she lit up when Rosalina offered to show her something that seemed to be of great sentimental value. "I would like that a lot, Rosalina." Peach replied softly. "You'll always be welcome to my company, as well as my kingdom." she went on reassuringly, moving to retrieve the cake she had baked. It had a generous amount of frosting on it, and what looked to be a homemade sugar candy decoration depicting Rosalina striking a flattering pose. The words "Thank you, Rosalina!" were inscribed next to the candy decoration in icing. The cake was big enough to make eight slices out of, with each slice healing 11%. The cake had a blue on white color scheme though the inside was a pleasant shade of pink. The flavor? Pink flavored, of course!
