The sound of a flute carried into the wind, a simple little melody by someone who did not have the skill to play anything more  complex. Arle lowered the flute from her lips and turned her gaze up into the sky, listening carefully. On cue, the notes came back to her after a few seconds. A ghostly echo confirmed her suspicions, just as it had the other times she'd played the flute in this area. Arle nodded in satisfaction and crouched in the upturned dirt in the Hyrule Crater area, upturned by the original blast that had devastated the once fair kingdom of course. It was such a dreary area now, all lof it's grandeur stolen from it.

Well... Not all of it per se.

Arle clutched her magical staff with one hand, using it to help balance, and peering into the almost impossible darkness of an underground cave system that had apparently survived intact. The sound of something rythmically scratching against rock greeted her ears, causing her to frown. It didn't sound like it was too big, whatever it was, but it was a rather difficult judgement call either way...

She couldn't help but notice that the sound was familiar to her, though she couldn't put her finger on where.

Arle stood back up, turning about to look around and inspect her surroundings. She hoped Carbuncle was okay. If it weren't for how dark it was, she would have already descended into the cave. The prospect of being lost, alone in the dark, excited her almost as much as the question of whether Carbuncle was okay. She could wait a bit longer, in hopes that someone would show up and answer her call for aid.

A powerful wind swept through the lands of the craters of Hyrule that seemed to pull dirt and leaves off the ground. After a bit earth started to raise from a concentrated spot until an angel in black descended from a flash of light. Dark Pit slung the Dark Pit Staff over his shoulder and looked around the place Viridi sent him so he could fulfill a request. The cloned angel pointed the sniping staff in front of him and looked down the scope to see if he could spot anyone worth noting.

He heard some kind of flute being played and looked in it's direction to spot a girl of some kind. He did not fully recognize her so she must not be that important of a hero. Regardless, it is safe to assume she is the one that requested aide. Dark Pit held his staff to his side as his wings glowed purple as he channeled Pandora's power into The Power of Flight.

The angel in black soared through the skies at a rapid rate until he dropped down beside her. "So, you are the girl with the missing thing, right? I have been looking for something myself so I decided helping you with this may help me find it. You can call me Dark Pit," Dark Pit stated.

"great, back here again. Lets just hope those damn dodongos know to leave well enough alone." a voice said as its origin came into view, niether of the two knew who this being was, unless you had no sense of personal space when it came to the 4th wall.

Luckily Zero was the last robot made by a mad doctor, but that didn't stop him from heading out on this mission, unfortunately the mission was in this dinosaur infested hellhole known as the Hyrule Crater and he didn't have a good time here once before, and he hoped not to have a repeat performance of being in the belly of the beast as a trophy.

Good thing he was ready for this mission with some good moves on hand for fights that might happen.

Cloud's humongous sword hung over his shoulder as he jumped off Cid's ship, the Highwind, as they arrived at Hyrule crater, and then began to walk toward the three people who he immediately spotted upon his arrival. There was an angel of darkness, a girl; most likely the one that had requested the aid, and a robot. "What a weird team..." He said to himself as he reached the other three. "Hey there, names Cloud Strife."

Arle's attention was stolen as the air was disturbed by the flight of several individuals approaching quickly. First, Dark Pit. Arle's gaze immediately drifted to his wings, glimmering with some semblance of recognition. She hesitated for a moment as a rather cringe-worthy memory passed through her mind. ...She supposed he wasn't singing, so things were looking up in that regard. Then came Zero! His metal body confused her a bit. Was that armor he was wearing..? It didn't look like any armor she'd ever seen, much less worn, but she wasn't inclined to quiz the wayward stranger on his origins right now. Finally, Cloud. Cloud was...

"Wowee, that's a big sword!" Arle blurted out in a matter-of-fact tone, leaning forward slightly and gesturing to the blade incredulously. She did not wait for a response, however, quickly second-guessing her choice of introduction and standing back up straight. "Sorry~ Yeah that's me. Hello, Dark Pit. Hello, Cloud. Hello,mister. I don't know what a dodongo is, but my name's Arle Nadja. Thanks for coming. " Arle replied, tapping the tips of her pointer fingers together in a rather anxious manner.

Arle tore her gaze away from the assembled boys for a moment to gaze speculatively at the cave opening. "I'm really worried about my friend Carbuncle. He got all excited for some reason and he jumped in... there." Arle explained, moving over to the edge of the rather vertical cave entrance. She would lean over it, peering into the unyielding darkness. "Fire!" Arle called out, the head of her staff lighting up with a magical ember. "Either this place is really big or Carbuncle got caught by something. Maybe both." Arle mused aloud, pondering the jump ahead.

"So if you guys have any way to avoid getting lost, it might help." Arle added, standing back up straight. "As for me, I can't wait another moment!" she would finish, shifting to pin her mini skirt to her thigh with one hand before hopping into the pit. Judging by the sound of her landing, it was a modest but significant drop of perhaps five to six yards. Judging by the small splash, it was also wet. Arle looked about, inspecting the grimy brick walls and the thin corridor stretching out as far as her staff would illuminate. There was some minor flooding, reaching up to her ankles.

Some robot man appeared with a really long ponytail walked up to them. Maybe it was that Zero guy that is from that Mega Man series everyone talks about. Dark Pit was not really into it that much so he did not bother with playing it. Oh well, it's not like it will help that much anyway to know your ally. Dark Pit enjoyed games with better stories and less bad voice acting anyway. Speaking of games with not very good stories there is- "Stop now!" Viridi's voice broke into Dark Pit's thoughts.

"What is it?"

"You can't just insult Final Fantasy 7 like that! Their fan base is massive and I'd rather we did not have an angry mob. No matter how many plot holes there were!"

"... Good point, we will go with the other jokes that can be made about Cloud."

... Anyway, there was the famous super sayain with a sword that can probably slice the world's largest hunk of cheese with ease. Looks like the most obscure person here is the one that made the mission. Dark Pit followed after the girl and looked at the darkness. Deciding it was a good idea to have his own source of light as well he had his Dark Pit Staff disappear in a flash of light before summoning his Phosphora Bow. The lightning like bow glowed blue in the darkness of the cave adding to the flame's light. Afterwards, Dark Pit turned back on his Power of Flight and descended after her. He kept above the water, deciding not to land in it just in case. It was not like his Power of Flight was limited like Pit's. He observed what he could of the room with his glowing bow.

Zero being a replied was a special case when it came to water, mainly because he was a machine that could walk in water without drowning he needn't be worried since he had his Z saber out and it was able to illuminate the cave, sadly though it did not constitute as a flashlight and maybe he should have had some cyber elves on hand like he did in the Zero series, since that was his more plot oriented game.

Arle continued further into the cave, leading the way quietly for a long moment. It was quiet... Too quiet. She'd definitely heard something creepy rattling down here before, so where was it? If one paid close enough attention, they might notice that there were extra footsteps sloshing around nearby. It was the only warning of the upcoming attack. Three skeletal warriors abruptly burst from the darkness, viciously lunging out at the party!

Thankfully, Arle was on her toes. The young mage narrowly dodged the stalfos' cruel blade with a side step. "Woah!" she blurted out, stepping back and raising her staff. "Freeze!" she called out, channeling magic through her staff and attempting to stop the staflos in their tracks with a blast of icy magic.

Unfortunately, however, Arle's magic soared past the stalfos harmlessly as it deftly leaped out of the way. The undead warriors would raise their shields and begin rattling their bones almost tauntingly, cold unfeeling verdant eyes staring down each member of the group. "Looks like we're going to have to look alive enough for the bunch of us~" Arle remarked light-heartedly.

A strong wind picked up Dark Pit and teleported him out of the cave. In exchange a young looking girl that was actually the Goddess Of Nature took his place and landed on the ground. Viridi decided to replace the angel because of abandonment issues and stood there as she felt like she sensed some kind of disturbance.

Viridi parried the sword lunge with her staff before quickly jumping back and standing her ground. "What a rude welcoming. You would think a Goddess gracing them with their presence would get more respect," Viridi said sarcastically.



"Sorry I had to crash the party. Dark Pit was not really holding up his weight. I will be taking his place in the meantime. Now how about we deal with these pesky interferances with the dead?" Viridi commented before pulling out her staff.



Viridi first summoned many pink flower petals to her side. How ironic she would be using the type of floral cloral that represents death to humans against the dead. She then sent these razor sharp petals flying at all three of the Stalfos.

As her petals were dealing with them, she prepped her hand. She then thrusted her arm in an uppercut. This uppercut sent a cherry bellosm tree breaking out of the ground and attempting to smash a Stalfos into the roof of the cave.

Zero managed to block some of the damage intended to hurt him, noticing the flawed clone had gone and was replaced with Viridi. "I must have bad timing, pity that I can't use my beam saber as a freaking flashlight in this damn cave." Zero said, his eyes giving a malevolent glare to the three stalfos hindering their progress through the cave.

One of the Staflos was immediately brought down by Viridi and Zero's attacks. The remaining two stalfos pulled back slightly, raising their shields defensively in reaction to Zero's glare.


"Fire!" Arle called out, launching a large fireball into one of the remaining Stalfos.

The fireball crashed into the stalfos' shield, smashing through it and destroying the skeleton's body. Only one Stalfos remained, the skeletal warrior slowly backing up as it awaited an opening to attack.

Arle would turn to acknowledge Viridi, smiling at the other. "I'm really greatful for your help, Viridi! It means a lot to me." Arle remarked in a matter-o-fact tone. Well someone had to show the goddess some respect, right? Arle could hardly believe that a goddess had chosen to help her with her little missing friend problem, but perhaps that just meant she was a really awesome goddess! Most gods and goddesses didn't answer your prayers this directly! She couldn't complain, frankly.

Viridi watched as the two Stalfos were easily beat down by their power. "It's no problem, really. These monsters are as much a problem for you as me. Messing with the sleep of the departed is not an act I can just leave alone. Someone needs to put these guys back to their eternal rest! Let's see Skeletor block this!" Viridi declared.



Viridi raised her staff and held it high as the cave gave a brief shake. A boulder then would fall down from the ceiling of the cave in an attempt to crush the Stalfos into bone meal.

Zero watched as viridi summoned a gigantic rock monster to attempt to crush the last stalfos, which kinda scared him but also gave him the motivation to get this thing done.

"that was a pretty good move you just used, I 'would' follow up with earth gaiser, but I doubt that craggy would like me turning him into miniature versions of itself. It might give me motivation to get a new move to learn somewhere along the line if I can manage." he said calmly, having readied the x2 giga special beforehand until the aforementioned cragalanch crush, that and he had to improve himself.

He would at the very least attempt a potshot on the stalfos in the likelihood that it somehow survived being turned into bonemeal.

The stalfos' body cracked and fell apart, destabilized by Viridi's incredibly impressive attack. Soon, whatever life force it had faded away and it returned to death once again.



"Diacute!" Arle shouted in spell speech, weaving a minor circle of conjuration before her. The circle condensed into a small ball of light that began to hover around her.


"Wow, nice job Viridi!" Arle would go on to remark, apparently quite impressed by the display. And who wouldn't be? Viridi had all but carried them through that fight. "I guess I shouldn't be surprised, seeing as you're a goddess and all." she would go on to remark light-heartedly. Go figure! Goddesses were good at combat. Arle moved to lead the way again, providing light for her two companions. "I wonder if there's any more of those guys in here..." Arle wondered aloud...

And then...

*Sipping Noises*

Arle stopped as the figure of a somewhat short skeleton came into view, his legs folded underneath him and a cup of tea in his hands. You could tell because it had the japanese kaji for tea on it! ...We can all read japanese, right? Er--...The skeleton opened one of it's non-existant, magical eyes to peer at the trio as they entered eachother's vision. Judging by the white color of the magical orbs that were his eyes, he was given life by a different power than the stalfos'. "O-cha!" the skeleton blurted out, eyeing the group. "Care for some tea to hold you over, travelers?" he offered. A makeshift kettle laid nearby.


"Yeah, like I'd ever drink any of your tea." Arle remarked, all full of sass and stuff. The skeleton gave Arle a dirty look in response, but ignored her in favor of turning his attention upon Zero and Viridi.

"They were not really anything impressive. Just weak stereotypical undead enemies everyone seems to have. There are probably more than them down here anyway," Viridi responded to Arle as she began to walk forward.

"And Cragalanche is not exactly a stranger to pebbles. He is quite use to other kind of rocks. Would not be a very good Force of Nature if he wasn't... Though I am not sure what you mean by learning a new move by that..." Viridi responded as she pondered if she should get some lawyers prepared to sue.

And then some skeleton sipping tea on a pillow appeared... He did not seem as hostile as the previous skeletons were... And Arle seemed to know him or maybe she just did not like tea... Viridi did like tea quite a bit... But tea from an undead? "I am going to have to pass. I am sure your tea is great and all... But I am not interested in accepting drinks from the undead," Viridi denied.
