Viridi awaited in Brightwing Lane for the soldiers she hired to take care of her problem in Brightwing Lane. When they arrived she simply began her speech. "Okay, so you guys need to go up there and find the Chaos Kin. Try not to break anything and do not take any caution. The creature could already be messing with the reality of the place. Ready? Well, too bad, good luck!" Viridi said before the three are suddenly lifted up with wind, rocks and leaves before being teleported to the Lunar Sanctum.

The place looked like some golden lost city built high in the sky. There did not seem to be any sign of chaos yet but that probably would not take long. Time to get aquainted. At least while waiting or trying to detect abnormalities.

When Robin's patient awaiting had come to an end and Viridi began her speech, Robin knew he was about to enter a world of confusion.

He was familiar with gods, yes. But his world had Naga and Grima, the epitome of light and darkness. From what he learned of Viridi's world, there were divine beings who controlled things such as nature- like Viridi- along with death, water, and even the land where the dead live.

Robin thought such things shouldn't be under a specific deity's control.

Nevertheless, Robin was patient and was just about ready to ask Viridi a quick question- until he was met by being carried via wind.

"WHOAAAAAA!" Robin shouted, the high- force winds whipping him around along with the rocks and leaves, shooting him high into the sky, eventually being stomped down onto something... hard.

Immediately, Robin got up and took a look at his surroundings, also trying to find his allies while at it.

Ludwig had silently observed his team before the transport, judging them in the way he always viewed new acquaintances. But between humans, with their ridiculously hard-to-read nature, and... Whatever the other member was, the koopa had no idea what to expect on this trip.
After the girl finished her kurt speech, Ludwig attempted to ask her about the contradiction in her instructions, but the winds picked up ferociously before he could make a peep. Instinctively, he tucked into his shell, severely doubting the safety of this mode of transport. Shouldn't divine beings have more elegant methods of getting around? What a waste to the potential of nature!
When he couldn't feel any more debris pelting his shell, he peered out of his head hole, but his new surroundings were just a blur. Quite frankly he couldn't tell if he was dizzy or spinning in place on his shell, though the latter was certainly true. He closed his eyes and decided to wait it out, though much more of this and he'd be hurling chunks.

While he was the last to arrive at least he wasn't late; or was he? Not that he cared. The alien stomped toward the awaiting group with his usual heavy footsteps, claws ticking against the hard flooring of which were already scarred with an abundance of dents and scratches from all the foot traffic it got on a regular basis. The little girl organizing the mission looked ready to burst as he approached. Her posture and face construed with an impatience well recognized with those kept waiting. The oerix's nostrils momentarily flared but he made no communicative noises when he stopped by the group; even if he had been given time to with the sudden start of Viridi.

As she spoke Krexix gave little notice to the other two. He'd had plenty of time to size them up as he strolled up to the meeting place. Of them the spiky shelled koopa looked the most ferocious besides himself. And not like those other koopa he'd worked with before, but one that seemed like a miniature Bowser. That held promise. The human on the other hand looked scrawny and was only armed with a sword. The oerix didn't hold high hopes for their performance, but humans could be surprising.

There was a moment in the goddess' speech that perplexed Krexix, causing him to squint an eye in thought. She did just say don't break anything but don't be cautious..? He understood those common words but his alien heritage made him doubt his true understanding of her words. In the end, when the wind began lifting them into the sky, he decided it didn't matter. She would not be there to govern them on this mission and he would do as he saw fit to complete the task; as he always has. After the light battering that got them up to the Lunar Sanctuary the alien stretched his neck and began scanning the area.

This part of the Lunar Sanctum looked like some sort of golden city with long drops past various guardrails to deep chasms. The place almost looked like a whole other world with it's golden skies and various buildings... Though none of them seemed enterable. The place looked big and this was only part of it.

A voice did enter the minds of the group though. "I do apologize for Lady Viridi's hasty sending. She is having trouble with a certain angel that just so happened to cause this travesty. I will be here if you guests need any guidance... Oh yes, and if you see any minions of the Forces of Nature, do not hesitate to take them out. They are already under the Chaos Kin's control you see," Arlon explained.

After the short explanation, a strange creature fell from the sky in front of the group. It looked around before running through a large gate. After running off, several enemies of various forms appeared to halt pursuit.

Robin breathed a sigh of relief as he found his partners: a koopa, one with spiky blue hair, who looked very much like the fabled Bowser that Robin heard about around the Life Sphere a few times. The other, an intimidating alien who Robin heard had history as a hunter. He knew a hunter would assist very much in this situation.

Once finding them, he made sure to dust off his clothing and look presentable, before looking around, and noticing the golden metropolis this place was.

Robin was astounded. How could he and two others find a bug here? He tried shaking the doubt from his mind and was about to walk forward, though as soon as he took his first step, a voice began talking inside his mind.

"Wait! Where are you? I have many questions!" Robin asked. But the creature who had apparent telepathy was gone, and with that, Robin's doubt began creeping up. Once more, however, he shook it from himself. After all, this was but the first part of the mission! He had to have hope in this early stage!

All of a sudden, a strange bug fell down. Could that be the Chaos Kin?

"After it!" Robin shouted as the Chaos Kin scuttled through a large gate. However, to stop pursuit, three creatures fell down from the sky to halt Robin's pursuit.

A somewhat cocky grin developed on Robin's face. He didn't know about Ludwig and Krexix, but he was planning on going through this as quickly as possible. He immediately went after the strange bird with blades for wings, or what he thought he heard back at the Life Sphere as a Blader, and quickly fired an Arcfire at it.

Robin was about to collapse internally after that pitiful Arcfire, but he knew he could still rack up some damage. He waited until the fire began to die, then leaped over the dying flame, Levin Sword at the ready.

After such horrid attacks, Robin began to question in his mind if the enemies had some sort of armor or the like which could negate his powers as Robin stepped back to take a defensive stance.1d20+3·1d20+1·1d20+3

Upon the ethereal voice ending, Ludwig stopped his spin by force and reemerged from his shell. Based off of the human's yelling, the target had been spotted, though the koopa was still disoriented from before and missed the creature. Instead, his senses came to when three new rather hideous things appeared. He was still gathering himself when he watched Robin launch the first assault, a rather pathetic show. Ludwig laughed and stood up straight, trying to maintain an air of elegance and authority.
"Wonderful little show you gave us there," he sarcastically said. "But why don't you let an experienced fighter do the work, here?"
Ludwig set his sights on the strange fruit creature, a "Cobbler" if memory served, and decided to start off with a simple magic blast.

A glowing ball of blue rolled off of Ludwig's claws as he flicked at his target. The shot was satisfyingly smooth, at the very least outdoing the human. He gave a snarky smile towards Robin before focusing on his personal favorite move: the Rockstar Hit.

In a flash of light, a bass guitar composed of solid magic appeared in Ludwig's hand. He charged forward, wielding the instrument like a club, and swung hard. He lept back beside Robin, expecting that satisfying sound of defeat from his teammate.1d20+3·1d20

The glistening city that lay before them was a bit of a shock to the dark dreary places Krexix was used to. The oerix squinted into the distance as his four onyx eyes adjusted to the golden rays assaulting them. He already didn't like this place. There was just something about how artificial it was that bothered him, and he practically lived on a ship before coming here. Maybe it was just not what he was expecting from a nature god. Further pondering of the shining sanctum were disrupted by a formal voice echoed into the minds of the group.

At first the alien attempted to see who it was that was speaking. But that was quickly proved as fruitless with the realization of the telepathic nature of the communication. As for what was being said it all seemed rather straight forward if not a bit unnecessary. Krexix subconsciously clicked one of his toes against the metal beneath his feat, the tap producing a rather satisfying noise. This stopped once the oerix spotted the incoming. An excited shiver waved through his body as he readied, Robin shouting for a chase, then set forward with pounding steps. This didn't really change when the three new creatures landed to block the previously clear path.

As fire and magic balls flew by him to strike the enemies Krexix bull rushed into them. Though considering their size it was almost more of a trampling than an actual check. When he came to the ridiculous plant looking creature he reached down to grab one of its stalks, planning to pull it up simultaneous with planting a taloned foot on the thing's bulk and tear it apart.

The Blader jumped to the right of the arcfire, swiftly evading the fire. It then blocked the sword with it's own bladed wing and stared into Robin's eyes. Then it let loose a laser beam from it's eyes to make Robin back off from the clash before striking.

"Oh, I am afraid you should of not done that Master Ludwig. Clobblers are normally a sweet apple, nice and passive. However, when attacked, it becomes a sour apple. In other words, it is going to retaliate extremely hard. Oh, and as I said, I am still here for any questions, Master Robin. I can hear you even if you speak aloud."

As Arlon said, the Clobbler did not even try to evade Ludwig's attacks, rolling backwards from the first hit. As soon as he started another attack though, it began twitching uncontrollably until turning into a hideous monster that tried to grab the turtle's weapon with it's deformed hand.

And it suceeded, grabbing the bass guitar and proceeding to crush it in it's grasp. The monster then threw a super powerful punch at Ludwig for daring to attack such a previously sweet and innocent creature.

The punch was kind of lacking actually... The Monster did go in for a grab in it's crushing grip on the spiked turtle though.

The Cacaw managed to evade the attack of the rampaging monster in front of it. It's eye moved to focus on the alien before it's 3 claw mouths opened for a screechingly loud scream at the alien to paralyze it in the powerful sound waves.

As Robin stood in his defensive stance, he cursed himself as he didn't hear the entirety of Arlon's speech. As it turns out, Arlon was still there for the trio. Robin failed to hear that amid his want for carnage, to plow through the enemies as fast as he could. And with that, he needed to think as fast as he could.

While Robin was thinking to himself about that, the Blader shot out a moderately powerful laser, Robin's thoughts keeping him away from the battlefield as he got zapped.

Robin dropped to one knee, scolding himself. He was supposed to be the general here. The team tactician. Instead, he was holding down the team.

Once more, Robin's thoughts were interrupted as the Blader lunged forward. But this time, Robin was ready, hopping off his knee and avoiding the blow. Robin then took the time to size up his enemy, the two in deadlock.

Two goddesses rely on me here. Robin thought. If I fail, I fail Viridi, and then Phosphora gets infected with the Chaos Kin. I CAN'T let that happen.

Robin then noticed something very peculiar about the Blader. Hey, last time I remember, metal conducts fire, right? And I DO need a wound that needs healing.

The tactician got to work, shooting out an Arcfire at the Blader's left blade- wing thing.

Robin smiled; Step 1 of his plan to eliminate the Blader was complete. With it's left wing damaged, Robin hoped it would be braking right, which is where Robin was heading to intercept it, a Nosferatu ready and waiting for the Blader.

"What do you mean, that thing is an easy target, barely worth my time! Just look at- What sort of eldritch horror are you!" Ludwig said in surprised disgust as the transformed creature lashed out at him.

(Dex roll: p_1d20 Ludwig mistook the thing's next motion for another punch and nearly jumped into its grip. He corrected his mistake in the nick of time and barely avoided it's grasp.)

And so the koopa learned that maybe lashing out at cute things is not such a good idea. It could've fit in at home, but this monstrosity was the creation of a power unlike any he'd seen before Li. He cursed himself for underestimating his target.
Inhaling deeply, Ludwig focused his magic into the fire he was going to bring forth.

The flame was not nearly as powerful as the koopa had prepped for it to be, coming out as more of a cough than what it needed to be. Attacking with physical effort so soon after dodging around must've winded him.
No matter, he decided to launch another magic bolt to catch the beast off guard.

Ludwig watched with dismay as the small bolt struggled through the air towards his target.

Krexix snorted in anger at his missed grab, the alien having no intention of backing away from amidst the attacking creatures despite this. He followed the evading Cacaw with the bulbs on his back beginning to heat up. Though instead of reaching for another grapple attempt Krexix spit out a gob just as the stalky plant screamed at him. It was a good thing the oerix didn't have much in the way for ears as the paralyzing effect of the reverberations might have been much worse. Krexix felt his muscles tense as the scratchy noise assaulted the air. Despite his best efforts his body began seizing up a little. Hopefully the plant would soon find itself in a similar position if the spit landed.

Now his fight had the added annoyance of slow movement; not that he was particularly speedy before hand. But that wouldn't deter him from trying to strike out. As his back heated up the alien made half-hearted swipes of his talons at the enemy while focusing mainly on keeping right next to it.

The winged blader was caught offguard by the sudden fire thrown at it's wing. It's eye moved to it's wing and caused it to panic. It shook it's wing and ran to the left. However it turned around in panic before Robin could hit it with Nosferatu. By now it's wing stopped burning and it turned it's glare back to Robin. It angrily tried to do a flying kick at Robin before flapping it's wing like blades to fly and shooting a laser at Robin again.

The Clobbler took it's hit very well, not flinching at all and looking unfazed by the Koopaling's breath. It also knocked the magic shot away with a mighty arm swing before the eyes on it's fingers tried to get a better look at Ludwig. When they felt they had the spiked turtle well in their sights, the powerful apple monster tried to slam one hand down on the turtle before lifting it to grab it with the other and hold him in it's grip.

The strange plant was caught offguard by the alien's spit and felt very icky... and tingly for some weird reason. The being, not really knowing the definition of paralysis, felt moving a bit harder, but it was not too unbearable. The creature was swinging it's claws at the plant.

The plant was nailed and sent flying backwards. The creature decided to retaliate by beautifully singing the tune of the Forces of Nature Holy Anthem. This boosted the morale and made it's allies stronger and harder to damage.

It missed quite a few notes and it was kind of out of tune. The noisy plant depressed with it's low quality play of the anthem decided to take it out on Krexix. The plant spewed poisonous breath at Krexix as a single tear dripped from it's one eye.

It's bad breath was vastly superior to it's singing, that depressed it greater, more tears falling from the plant's eye.

Robin cringed internally as the Blader managed to avoid the Nosferatu Robin had just in the nick of time. For shame, too. Robin felt that the damage that could have been healed could have been astronomical.

However, Robin didn't let his small slip- up get the best of him. He still noted that he did quite some damage with the Arcfire, and could potentially bring the Blader down soon.

All of a sudden, the Blader lunged forward with a flying kick and another laser.

Robin saw the counter- attacks coming from a mile away, and elegantly jumped away from both the kick and the lazer.

True, Robin was perhaps a bit... blunt with that, but as of this moment, time is of the essence. Robin then went on with his Levin Sword as a counter- attack against the Blader.

Ludwig was knocked aside roughly, the punch landing on his head, the pain disorienting him.

He tried to jump out of the way as he struggled to recover, but he was still out of sorts from the punch and couldn't make it very far.
Ludwig felt the three slimy eye stalk finger things wrap around him, and growled. "Let go of me, you disgusting regurgitation of a fruit!"
He swiped at them with each hand in panic.
