It was a cold, cold day here on Icicle Peak... Well, any day is cold here really, but that is besides the point. Somewhere on this mountain was a temple that held an artifact the strange Toad Vanish T was looking for. It was as much a mystery what it was as the toad himself. Speaking of the Toad, he was standing there in wait at the base where he said to meet him.

Vanish T looks like a Toad but with significant differences. For starters, his mushroom was brown with purple dots, he wore an eyepatch, he wore a black leather jacket, black shoes and a black whatever those pants things were. In his hand he carried a sword with a mushroom like handle. He was moving the sword around in his hand while waiting for his allies to show up. Something was off and he knew it. There was probably someone else after the artifact.

Neku brought himself to the Icicle Peaks this time to see if he could get information on his next mission. The one thing he knew about Reaper's is that they will leave traps in even in the worst of places. For example, if you tried to use the toilet, you might end up getting erased. They don't care about what you were doing or what you will do. If you fall for a trap, things only looked worse for you. Neku took this so he could start to stock up on items, and since he is doing this for items, he was trying to make the best of his time and try to leave landmarks on areas not to go into. Unfortunately, with his detection skills, he was unable to confirm any areas that would force any Reaper traps to be exposed.

He did see his Client however, or what seemed to be his client. The description fit perfectly, so why wouldn't it be his client? It turns out Neku would be facing this with not just his client, but another person as well. He had hoped that he would not have to share the reward in the end, and even if he did, he better not end up with the lower end with the loot. "Hey there, Neku Sakuraba. Vanish T?"

With that oh-so familiar sound effect of a chorus going "HE HE HO!" from Hades infernal theme, The 7 ft purple god with fantaaaastic hair burst from the ground right between the two with a load of bright blue fire, yelling out a "Hades!" as if to carry neku's little name tree, interrupting Vanish T. Of course, Hades could care less if he did or not, interruptions were only part of the job, after all. "So, we have the OC and the guy who does his hair with a bucket of orange paint! Splendid." Hades said, sighing as he looked around...Probably not a good day to go with the shirtless look, But never the less, As a cold Disney princess once said, "The cold never bothered him anyways!"

"So, what's the dusty old thing were looking for Solid toad? The Prima guide isnt spilling the beans for me, So let's hear it." Hades said, wishing to hurry up and get done with it.

Vanish T turned to see the orange headed boy that agreed to help. "Greetings Neku. I am in-" Before Vanish T could finish his sentence he was interrupted by the God of the Underworld. "Sorry, I already said I can not tell you what the artifact is. I assure it is not dusty though and in the wrong hands it can cause mass chaos. Now, the temple is not that far... but I doubt the others would just let us get there. Is that not right, gentleman?" Vanish T asked to seemingly no one.

"... Your leader should of told you I would not fall for these tricks, so it is best to reveal yourselves," Vanish T tried again to which a Black Goomba in Sunglasses, a black Octoroc and a black Pidgeot stepped out.

"Crap, I thought the boss was exagerating.," The Goomba said

"Does not matter, we have our orders, take him out," The Pidgeot responded. It would seem these oddly colored minions are not on friendly terms.

Neku looked back as a third name had been called, and there was his... Ally? He shoved his palm again his face as a... Man? A man was headed their way, and he had plenty of words for this guy. "Wow... It looks like the Energizer Bunny got depressed..." Neku said as the three of them were together, and odd looking trio. The boy put his hands in his pockets, remembering Shiki and what she would do in this situation. Probably throw Mr. Mew at this "Hades" guy, or whatever his name was. He surely wasn't some god of death or the underworld. Mr. Mew could scratch up his face and surprisingly, make it look better than what it did now.

That was when Vanish revealed the enemies, three of them. All odd looking and unusual, certainly not any Noise he could remember. "Whatever... I'll take them out!" Neku exclaimed as he took his hands out of his pockets, throwing four pins into the air and causing them to spin around his body. He activated the Quickstep pin, allowing him to lift his body above the ground, his feet barely touching it. He glided swiftly towards the first enemy, the Goomba with sunglasses. It struck its head against his chest, but the damage was halved due to the effect of the Quickstep pin. Plus, Neku did not get knocked backwards either, in fact, he was now behind the Goomba. He used his Pin Grip ability to force the Goomba into the air, but before he was able to do that, a flashback struck him. This was exactly how he did this to Shiki.

"Shiki..." Neku said to himself as he remembered the second day of the game. He almost erased the one person who could have saved him from the game, his own partner. And this was just like that. "Shiki..."

At that point, Neku felt his energy rising, his hair covering his face. His pins spun around him as he then put his hand out, and he received a fifth pin. Mr. Mew, Shiki's pin. "Go Piggie!" Neku yelled as he threw the doll at the Goomba watching it shred up the Goomba by scratched excessively. The Mr. Mew pin is a pin that acts on it's own and lets it have its own attacks. This Goomba would not be able to fight back for too much longer. It did land a hit however, and Mr.  Mew did return back, but Neku just threw it back, and Mr. Mew was still scratching and tossing the enemy around until eventually, it shattered to pieces as a wave like sound echoed around them. He walked to the pair of sunglasses left behind and put them on before Mr. Mew returned to him. "One down." Neku said as he stretched his arms up on the air, Mr. Mew in his left hand.

Hades scoffed, looking at neku taking on the group, as hades yawned, leaning back against a wall...Yup, Hades wasnt even gonna bother. "He looks like he has this in his hand's, i'll hold up my strength." Hades said to Vanish T, laughing to himself as he kept relaxing...

[Come on hades, atleast do something!]

"Why should i, little writer?"

[You do realise that if you just stand around, you wont get any items for the mission, right?]

"You didnt even check what items were being given out before signing up anyways. You just knew mister Sucksabra was gonna be here, so you signed me up."

[Hades...I swear to you, if you do not go in there and beat something up, i will cut your paycheck.]

"...I get paid?"

[NOW!]

"!Alright, Fine"

Hades groaned, flicking his wrist and sending a single blue hewdraw to attack the pidgey, no doubt the hewdraw would just eat the little bird whole. "Oh finally, once and a while we finally get to go one at a time, not with the other bozo's!"

The Goomba appeared beat down by Neku's attacks. However, his voice popped back up when he picked up the glasses, "Yo, ya really digging the Shades? Well, I'm afraid you were not after the real deal," The Goomba said reappearing out of the snow. It would appear Neku attacked a fake.

The Pidgeotto flew away from the sudden Hydra and perched back on the ground, "So this is his escort? Looks like a lazy guy and an idiot. This should be easy. Gloom G, keep him busy, Octo G, you take on Vanish, I'll take the Lazy Sphagetti Head," The Pidgeotto instructed.

"Got it, Pid G Otto," Gloom G said and Octo G just did a sound before burrowing underground. "Okay, kid, get a load of this! Goomba Barrage!" As the strange goomba said this, 10 Goombas appeared around Neku each with sunglasses. 4 tried to launch him into the air, while the other 6 tried to smash him into the ground. After their assualt, all but the original vanished.

Pid G Otto flew at Hades before vanishing. After a few seconds, It would reappear with 5 copies who all try to rush him at the same time.

The Octo G appeared around Vanish with 3 clones who all shoot rocks at him.

Vanish T got hit from the 4 angles clenched his chest. "Copy Illusionists. They try to fool you with their copies. Do not fall for their tricks,"  Vanish T said before transforming his sword into an axe and attempting to cut an Octo G in half.

He hit the real one and it exploded before turning into a trophy.
