The Sunshine Stadium's layout was slightly modified from normal for the event that will occur in a few minutes. The audience was vast in number. This was a rare time where they get entertainment other than watch people knock each other's brains out, after all, an oppertunity not to miss. All normal things in the inners of the arena were moved so there was no interference most likely. The day was sunny, not really an event to hold in the dark. In the center of the arena was Vanish T, ready to do his introduction speech... did he just throw away his script? "Now normally I am supposed to do a long boring speech, but you do not want that! Instead I will show you to our REAL host, Meta Knight!" Vanish T. said as a caped figure that looked just as the man said, the famous knight Meta Knight.

"I see Vanish T just likes to get to the point. I can admire that. Now, the general rules are simple, we will hold 5 events to test the strength in the bond between our contestants and their pets. At the end of every event they will get rated by our 4 judges, me, Vanish T, Mama Hippo and Antasma since Psy Co. and Mama Hippo are sponsoring. At the end the person with the most points win. Now let's introduce you to our contestants," Meta Knight said before he started to list the contestants and their pets to tell them to step into sight.

"The Goddess of Nature will show you why she is the best trainer. Isn't that right, Cragalanche? ... Cragalanche... Cragalanche!" Viridi yelled at the boulder next to her. "Wake up you stupid lazy rock!" Viridi whacked the boulder with her staff which caused it to yawn and pull out its' limbs to reveal the Rock Titan that is Cragalanche.

Yami sighed as she watched the crowd. This certainly was a mess she did not predict. The Flat Man was going to use her to fuel the thing she was feeding off. The Dark Lord Yami, being showed off in a competition for peasant's animals. Still, it might be fun to crush the competition. It was still embarassing though.

"Hm..." Black Mage simply stared at the Flat Man for a few seconds before turning his head to Amaterasu. This competition was nowhere near violent enough for his tastes but that Flat Man applied with that demon so he had to stand his ground in case the fish tried anything funny. There was only room enough for one evil monster here and it was Black Mage. Showing up that fish and his owner with the Sun Goddess in Wolf Form may be satisfying.

[Mr. Game & Watch]

Mr. Game & Watch stood upright and proudly (which wasn’t very impressive considering his height) with the little demon’s bowl gently carried in his one hand. As the blue marble introduced him, the flat man held Mr. Gold & Fish up high and began to feverishly dangle his bell out in front of him. In his mind, the crowd went absolutely insane, finally the true hero of the Life Sphere was back in his rightful place, in the spotlight. Adoring fans tossed confetti at him as he continued to absorb their praise in the same way that the fish was absorbing his ego.

This was exactly the kind of event Mr. G&W needed after the months of obscurity, and his fans continued to remind him of this as they showered him with even more praise. Though they died down as the next name was uttered.

Waluigi entered the arena as him and his partner were named, A.I.M. seeming to be completely absent from his side, however, the machine was no doubt somewhere nearby. The pompous perp wore a collar with a leash dangling behind him as though it were a tail. He wore a big grin and waved to the crowd despite no one actually cheering for him. He was aware this was going to happen and actually felt more enthused by the lack of support than anything else. “Wheh ha ha, yeah, YEAH!” he cheered as he clapped for himself as he stood next to the rest of the contestants.

Well, it looked like there was barely any competition for Mr. G&W so far, the crook, a giant rock, and that Mage and his wolf hardly seemed intimidating. Speaking of which, it was an odd coincidence that those two were here to claim Mr. G&W’s prize. They were rather against the idea of him and G&F uniting, so perhaps their task here was a bit different than they would want to believe. Mr. G&W didn’t give leave them an autograph like he tended to do with his teammates and now they’re here to kidnap his fish in order to get said autograph they were promised when signing up on a mission with him! Of course, it all makes perfect sense! Well, his hand was cramped from signing autographs outside the stadium, so they will get no such luck!

Soon after Waluigi arrived on the scene, his persistent owner soon made its appearance. A bellow of flames underneath its platform soon dissipated as it spotted the optimum location to land. Its eyes immediately honed in on the purple plumber himself. “Unit Waluigi, cease and desist whatever scheme you are operating” A.I.M. spoke as it began to wheel itself over to his position.

“Wah, what took YOU so long?”

“This unit had to investigate recent vandalism outside the Sunshine Stadium, graffiti artist still unknown.”

“Wah, Waluigi enter competition for the good of the Life Sphere. Waluigi has had a change of heart thanks to robot teaching him the ways of goodie-two-shoes, Waluigi do this for charity”

“This unit does not believe unit Waluigi”

“Wheh, stupid robot, this statement is false”

A.I.M. froze in its place as the machine’s internal processors attempted to solve the paradox. A spark spewed out of its head as it began to twitch uncontrollably. Eventually it ceased altogether whilst stating “… Rebooting…”

Waluigi quickly leapt off the stands and proceeded to grab his would be parole officer and carry it back to his assigned position along with the rest of the contestants. He wasn’t sure how long A.I.M. would take to reboot after such a heavy logic bomb, but that matter little, all he needed was something that resembled an owner figure.

The white wolf padded into the stadium alongside her robed ally, tail excitedly wagging back and forth behind her. She just couldn't get enough of the energy in the area. Her was practically spinning around as she craned it to take in as much of the various little scenes all-round. This was such a pleasant break from the normal doom and gloom, though the Life Sphere at its heart always held a bit of a light air so as to keep the mind of the people from descending into the dark world outside the bubble. This was just so much more vibrant; almost like a festival. It brought back good memories.

When her eyes scanned across the familiar flatzoner and his new 'pet' though Amaterasu paused. Reminded of her original purpose for entering the canine released somewhat of a sigh before catching up to Black Mage and making their way to their appointed position. After a quick glance around to all the contestants her gaze resumed a longer stare at Yami, Ammy releasing a quiet bark with a momentary rumble in her throat to follow. The sun goddess didn't let this behavior persist though, at risk of starting off in a poor light with the judges.

"Aaaaaaaahahahahahahaha!!!!!" Came a sound from the sky, as what looked to be a small car sized meteorite fell from the sky and crashed into the entry way. This was more or less Laharl's way of stealing the show from everyone else with a big bang. Laharl jumped from the small crater he had made, the hole in the ground suddenly coming back to normal, as per disgea's ridiculous attacks constantly fixing themselves up. Laharl tugged on a leash, pulling his newest Pet/Vassal into the light. "Alright fools, its time to realise there's only one guy that belongs in the spotlight here! And that's the Great Overlord Laharl!!! And also, his pet..." Laharl blinked, kind of realizing he forgot to give Lucario a name. All he did was duct tape some Laharl-esque antennae's to Lucario for appearance sake, along with a red scarf.



"Hm...." Laharl tapped his chin in thought, them smirking and snapping. "Along with his pet, Mini boss!" He said, revealing Lucario, who was dressed up with the aforementioned antannae on his head with see-through tape and red laharl-like scarf, as if to resemble his master. "Alright, Lets trash these punks!" Laharl said, giving another trademark overlord laugh before pulling lucario along.



"Yeah, like, go laharl and stuff!!!"



"LAHARL, I LOVE YOU! HAVE MY CHILDREN OR ELSE I WILL BATHE YOU IN THE FIRES OF HELL!"



"Allie model number 453 can confirm a 14.2% chance of laharl's victory in this pet show. But, the enthusiasm of the crowd suggests a 84% wish for the victory of...Game and watch."

Lucario no longer bore the fake antennae or scarf, having removed them before the indignity of being forced to take part in this pet show. He did not apreciate being forced to take part in it, and was biding his time, waiting for the chance to take out Laharl.  He was mad, he was really mad. He sat cross legged next to Laharl, eyes closed and turned away, clearly showing his indignation at being leashed like this. But, there was one very unfortunate thing he had no choice but to acknowledge: he had been a wild pokemon before. Technically, he had been caught, it was not by Pokéball, but it had happened, so like it or not, he was pretty well stuck with this punk named Laharl. But he didn't have to listen.

His ears twitched as he herd the voice of the host of this mundane atrocity. Wait, it was familiar, his eyes opened and he scanned for the source of the familiar voice, only to have his suspicions confirmed, the host was Meta Knight himself. He stood up in shock, and began shouting his direction in an attempt to get Meta Knight to help him out, his feet dragging against the ground as his new "owner" drug him along. "Meta Knight! Over here! It's me! Lucario! Can I get some help over here?! This brat calling himself my owner used cheap tactics to capture me and I need some help getting out of this insult called a collar!" But, try as he might, the likely hood of catching his old companion's attention was low, but it wouldn't stop him from trying.

He began fighting with the collar, trying to pull it off, but to no avail. Frustrated, he put the spikes on the back of his paws in between the dollar and his neck, and pulled, only to have his spikes slip. What was this thing made out of?! Nintendanium?! Well, whatever it was made out of, he wasn't getting out of it any time soon, as he continued to fight with it, not about to acknowledge Laharl as his new owner until it was definite there was no escape from this fresh new hell. First thing he'd do was try to get back at that damn ninja as soon as he escaped...

Meta Knight seemed to either ignore or not hear Lucario's plead. However, in reality, he heard it bright as day, however he did not act. "Hm, its that Lucario from the Subspace War... He seems to have fallen for the trick too... fortunate, I was worried someone like him could see through it. However his own problems are blinding him, great," Meta Knight(?) thought in his head. After the introductions, Meta Knight turned around with a swish of his cape, "Vanish T. will announce the events. I need to talk with the other judges before the show begins," Meta Knight said before walking into a what looked like a small hut, made for the Judges. Meta Knight shut the seeing part while Vanish T. talked.

"Impersonating that knight is getting tiring. Too bad it is necessary with my criminal record. It is a small price to pay for my goals though," The imposter knight said.

"That vas a good shov though, Zword. No one will suspect us yet," Antasma said.

"Did you see him? Was that him?" Mama Hippo asked.

"Waluigi? Yep, he was one of the three that got your son arrested."

"I want to see him suffer the most! No one beats up my Hippo Sweetie and gets away with it!"

"Yes, I guarenteed he will suffer plenty. Now, I need to get back into the Meta Knight Mindset. That Lucario will be dangerous if I fail to hide my true aura for even a second."

Meanwhile, back in the stadium, Vanish T. is explaining the events. "The first event is a simple one not to derive too much from what you guys are used to, fighting. However, teamwork and loyalty is still important, so the pet will have to do the attack the trainer commands, they have to plan and fight as one. The Owner is not allowed to fight, they are only allowed to give commands. The Pet can only attack using the move the owner commands. I hope Mr. Gold & Fish can speak beeps or Game & Watch is really good at sign language. After 3 rounds we will stop the fight for judging. Anyway, send your pets after each other when ready," Vanish T. said before disappearing, most likely heading for the judge booth.

Viridi gave a frown at Cragalanche just sitting there... this may be harder than she thought. Good thing he was a Stone Wall though, so if anything he can take a hit extremely well... Too bad he is painfully slow. "Okay Cragalanche... Body Slam the Lucario!" Cragalanche just gave a confused face. "... Lay on him..." The Rocky Being nodded in understanding before jumping up and deciding to do just that, make Lucario Pancakes.

Yami immediately was worried. Seriously? She had to follow the orders of a guy that can not even talk?! Well, this would be a fine show of talent against her archnemesis. Well, this was jolly good. Might as well go into Battle Mode so she is not a sitting duck at least. The Fish floated out of Mr. Game & Watch's posession and gained her signature red trimmed ball, ready to take a hit at the very least.

Black Mage might of had a grin at the thought of Game & Watch's disadvantage. He was going to teach that flat man a lesson... too bad he could not do it with his own knife. "Amaterasu, Power Slash the fish and then slam him with something," Black Mage said.1d20+7

Well, this could’ve started off better… Mr. Gold & Fish was not taught in the language of bleeps and bloops. Mostly because she was a fish and Mr. G&W doubted she was able to comprehend any sort of language. What gender was she by the way? He should probably refer her to something gender neutral until he knows for sure, but then again if female Mr. Mimes exist then there should be no big issue there…

Right to battle! Oh good, G&F already mega evolved or whatever, so she was able to understand that much. Still though, that doesn’t mean that she’ll be able to understand his native tongue. Then again, nobody understood his native tongue. Well, the only thing he could do is hope that G&F was a decent fighter in autopilot mode. Mr. G&W waved a flag at the bowling ball in order to catch her attention and hopefully she would be able to understand what he’s trying to get across.

Considering that the dreaded statue destroyer was on the battlefield, G&W had his eyes on Waluigi, but before he could command his creature to attack Black Mage let slip the dogs of war on his fish. That wolf wanted to eat G&F before and he wasn’t going to let her try again, the flat man began to point towards the enemy, telling his pet to steamroll the wolf. Well, it seemed more like frantic pointing and along with the sounds of someone breaking into a clock shop.

As for Waluigi, he peered back at his unconscious oppressor. Well, this was not going to bode well for him whatsoever. He knew for a fact that whoever made this competition had it out for him based solely on the fact that he actually relied on his owner to be conscious. He was hoping for stuff like jumping through hoops and dance competitions, this was the worst pet show that Waluigi had ever seen.

So far though, it looked to be that the opponents had already been picked and that just left Waluigi on the sidelines to pick his fight. Well, there were two giant rock-like beings and then two canines, each of which paired off against each other. There was a surprisingly lack of variety now that he thought about it. He looked back at A.I.M., taking note of the fact that the machine looked no closer to booting up than earlier, not that it would be all that cooperative if it was online.

Waluigi coughed and then spoke out the corner of his mouth. “Wha, ahem unit Waluigi use vine stuff against stupid boulder looking thing and then toss a Liar Ball at self-throwing bowling ball”

“System reboot at 2%”

“Wha! Shut up! … right away ma-… Waluigi has nothing positive to say about bean can” Waluigi stated as he sprang into action, stomping at the ground and unleashing a thorny barrage toward Cragalanche and possibly Lucario if he manages to get crushed underneath the rock titan. He switched his attention too quickly towards Yami and due to that was probably going to miss his Waluigi, but he had a good shot available so he whipped a Liar Ball at Mach speed towards the ball.

The wolf continued to happily soak in the atmosphere, watching the grandiose entrance of what look liked a an overconfident child followed by the proud pokemon. Ammy tilted her head as she witnessed the interaction; both curious and greatly amused. Soon though it was time to listen to Vanish T and prepare for the event. Upon listening to the instructions of the first test she shared a similar surprise to the mischievous plumber, but was excited for it none-the-less. Her tail wagged so rapidly you could almost hear it whipping through the air.

When Yami prepared Ammy mimicked. She stepped a few paces away from Black Mage and ducked down into her usual stance, body stilling as she readied. She glanced at the others to mark their positions but otherwise was very much focused on the embodiment of darkness floating in their midst. Once given her instructions she immediately set forth, charging around to get a decent angle to power slash Yami's bowl set in the palm of the menacing hand.

Once her ranged slash was released she skidded to a halt and darted a different way toward Yami. Amaterasu continued in a more cautious run, eying her opponent warily as she came up, her divine retribution flaring. She would wait as long as possible to react to an attack from Yami then get in a bash as a counter. Or, should the fish not keep up with her position fast enough she would run underneath the floating monster to bash the wrist.

Laharl smirked. "Easy peasy, My girl's the best at fighting!" Laharl stated, obviously still fuzzy on the details of lucario's gender, though he held some form of concern for the fact that lucario was less than pleased for being under Laharl's rule. Laharl took out a small note written by Gon to tell him what lucario can actually do. "Heh, alright...Mini-boss, take all the hits they throw at you, and defend them!" Laharl stated, smirking as he knew hat the more damage lucario took, the better he would be. Or hell, perhaps this could work as reverse psychiatry to lucario. So, if lucario dis-obeyed, lucario could just state it as a strategy so no one would be able to tell he was just disobeying him. "Now, counter by throwing a aura sphere at the dog!, then, follow it up with a melee combo, chop chop!" He yelled, hoping lucario would start listening to that last command.

Lucario was taken aback at the fact his old ally had seemingly ignored the Lucario's request for help. Why had he been ignored by his old comrade? Someone who he had fought along side against Tabuu and his underlings, and he was being ignored by them. His mind couldn't handle something so... Jarring. When he realized that Meta Knight either had ignored him or simply not listened, he stopped fighting with the collar, his eyes wide open and looking down as though he had found a dead body, which was a near impossibility on Li. Had Meta Knight somehow forgotten about him? Had he been gone for so long that no one remembered him? If that was the case, then the odds of him escaping Laharl were low.

However, he wasn't about to give up that easily, as he shook his head and returned to fighting with the collar, which was frankly starting to piss him off. As he finally gave up, acknowledging it to be a fruitless task, he listened to Vanish T, and only regretted it. A fight he could easily do, but like hell he was going to listen to this impudent brat. He didn't even want to be there in the first place, let alone take orders from someone so... Idiotic. The name Mini-Boss was something he wasn't going to acknowledge either, and was only going to answer to the name Lucario. It wasn't an original name, but it was his, and he despised being suddenly given one.

He watched the other pets as they got into position, minus Waluigi, who's own plan had backfired, fool. Then the commands Laharl wanted him to follo- wait. Did that brat refer to him as if he was female?! "Who the hell do you think you are calling me a female?! I am a proud make Lucario! The name of Mini-Boss that I refuse to acknowledge as actually being my name, is annoying enough, but you have the gal to call me a female?! Of all the indignities I have suffered today!" He was about ready to set off on a tangent, but he was cut off by the Cragalanche's sudden attack. He turned as he felt the rock's aura closing in, and with little time to react, he raised his arms to defend.

And actually fared quite well, still feeling the impact, but barely. Rather than simply throw the rock off, he lowered one of his paws, and thrust it up into the rocks underside, figuring since he was also a fighting type, he would not only get out a super effective, but he'd throw the thing away. Assuming it followed the laws of his world anyway. With that he turned, however, his Pokemon instincts, whether he liked or not, were actually slowly buying into Laharl being his master, and he subconsciously began to charge up an aura ball, and when he finally realized it, the charge was half way completely. He suddenly dropped the charge, his eyes wide as dinner plates. Damn his instincts!

He shot a glare Laharl's way, as if to say, "That was not of my own will you brat." And he backed away, and attempted to drown out the large amount of auras in the stadium, he only needed to focus on the few he had to. However, he was still distracted, too many things assaulting him at ones. His old ally ignoring him was bad enough, but now his instincts as a pokemon were working against him, and were attempting to force him to ACKNOWLEDGE Laharl as his owner. Why did Pokemon instincts even do that anyway? It seemed so mundane and pointless! He cursed his own instincts and attempted to drown everything out, and meditated in his own way, balancing on a single leg.1d20+1

Cragalanche was surprised at the Lucario's strength and was thrown but he only went a few inches from Lucario before falling to the ground with a heavy thud due to his large weight. It would seem the move was not super effective as Lucario thought. However everything had a weakness... which might be the glowing hole in plain sight when looking at the living boulder from behind. Anyhow, it would seem the heavy titan was assualted by someone else and he was too slow too dodge. However the plants were like mere grass flowing onto his foot as he barely noticed the weak attack. "Ha! Nice try purple, but it will take more than that to dent Cragalanche! Cragalanche! Punch the wolf in the face and throw a stone cold present at Waluigi!" The Goddess of Nature stated. And at her command, the rock did a dashing punch at Lucario before throwing a giant boulder at Waluigi.

Yami saw the wolf attempting to use Power Slash on his hand coming so he closed the palm to prevent weakness damage. However, this left him blind long enough to get whacked in the eye... thing... with a well aimed Liar Ball, confused for a second he appeared open though he quickly snapped out of it by grabbing the Wolf's weapon and attempting to get her in a vice grip. What was that flat man going on about anyway? Wait... NO ONE could understand him! This was perfect! As long as there appeared to be some consistency Yami can get away with anything. He would  love to get the purple man back, but his orders were on the wolf. If Yami grabbed Ammy, he would try to crush her in his grip. If not, he would try and flatten her instead.

Black Mage decided a good course of action he seen in the prison from this. "Amaterasu! Use a tree to counter that fish's hand attacks! If you are trapped, it could help you out! And no one likes a forceful tree to the eye!" BM said.

"Lucario does not seem very obedient does he?" Fake Meta Knight says to the Mic

"No, and the robot and Valuigi fellow look very suspicious to me."

"We should keep an eye on that hooligan," Mama Hippo states to the mic.

"This battle is heated though between the sheer loyalty of Cragalanche, Amatersu and Mr. Gold and Fish."

Yami gives a bubbly sigh at the sound of his nickname.

[Mr. Game & Watch]

Mr. Game & Watch continued to cheer on his armoured gold fish as she continued to assault the wolf. It was about time they showed that mettlesome duo what for. He didn’t have much input on the matter, but as the rules of Pokémon state: giant bowling ball is super effective on mutts. The flat figure could be a Game Freak executive. He continued to blather nonsense in order to make it seem like he was dishing out commands.

In reality though, there was very little for the 2D figure besides watch on. Something did attract his attention over time however. The interaction between the Pokémon and the… kid? Game & Watch had no idea what Laharl was supposed to be, but that was beside the point. Wait, was Lucario the same Lucario from the Subspace incident? G&W couldn’t really tell since he didn’t interact with very many of the big names in that war and frankly kept to himself since those were simpler times in his life. He wasn’t really paying attention to what he was saying to Meta Knight earlier, since his adoring astral fans deserved his attention far more than the canine. Although considering that he was trying to speak to Meta Knight at all would suggest that he was that Lucario. That being said and the tie in with him being rather aggressive towards his owner, it would seem that he is within an unfavourable position, something Mr. G&W could exploit. If he could break them up, then the duo would be out of the competition and G&W might make the front page on Li Times! Perfect!

Mr. Game & Watch pulled out his flag and tried to direct the attention of the judges toward Laharl and unfortunately couldn’t actually accuse him of something like kidnapping since, again, no one could understand a word he was saying.

Meanwhile, Waluigi’s side of the match was going quite smoothly, he didn’t have someone in his face trying to knock his lights out and he could just as easily pick off any enemy with his ranged attacks. This was as good a setup as he could ask for. That being said though, something was bound to go wrong, nothing went well for Waluigi, ever. He wasn’t going to start believing his luck was about to change in this moment.

Waluigi instantly turned around and stomped his foot at the machine. “Wah, hunk of j-“ due to Waluigi’s lack of attention, he was quickly clobbered by the boulder hurled at him. It was kind of like watching a fly collide with a flyswatter. The flatten beanpole was launched and landed at the ‘feet’ of his would be master as the machine stated “…5%”

“Wah! Waluigi’s getting to it, don’t overload your floppy disks!” he replied as he sprang back onto his feet. He then scoped out the battlefield, looking for an enemy he could mess with. Well, it looked like the wolf was about to be in a sticky situation, so might as well make it worse for her. Waluigi wasn’t sure if he was allowed to use his Final Smash in this battle, but might as well.

“Wah! Looks like it’s time for a Waluigi party!” the lanky plumber slurred out of the side of his mouth.

With that, a die block formed over his head, the numbers on every side of the block randomly flashing 1, 2, or 3 until the criminal smashed it like a brick block. The number that was revealed was 2, meaning that the forecast for the sunshine stadium was about to get more… explosive. Well, he was more so hoping for the blue shell to mess up Yami and Ammy, but who could argue that the raining bombs wouldn’t make for a good choice?

Black Clouds formed over the arena and with the summoning sound of thunder, the Bomb-Ombs began to sprinkle down like a baseball sized hailstorm. Waluigi began to laugh maniacally as the sounds of the explosive creature’s cries echoed as well as their eruptions as soon as they collided with the ground and whoever was unfortunate enough to be conked by the windup toys.

As her divine mirror lifted and began its swing up into her sworn enemy Yami took it upon himself to snatch the weapon as it moved. Even though the wolf herself wasn't caught in his monstrous grasp she still lifted with it. With a quiet yelp her body lurched upward as if someone was lifting her by the scruff; though she wasn't curling up. Once she was well of the ground Yami adjusted his hold, aiming to pincer her between fingers. Black Mage's words rang out amidst the various sounds of battle clashing throughout the ring. She barked a response, though initially focused on avoiding the vice grip Yami was maneuvering for.

She used her own weapon to help twist herself around as she hung in the air during the transition of Yami's pointed fingers. Ammy's nails were unable to dig into the rock hard digits but her position was made wriggly enough she was able to literally slip through the Emperor of Eternal Darkness' fingers. Unfortunately now she found herself falling a few dozen feet; amidst a cloud of bombs. However, as for following her instructions this would be perfect. In order to attempt catching her or slapping her while she was unable to maneuver Yami would need to be looking down; right where a tree would be coming up.

Amaterasu's tail assumed its normal coloration when preparing a brush technique, her head twisting around as she spread her body out for the harsh landing. She noted his position, guesstimated the distance, then dabbed her celestial power on the ground corresponding to her assumption. In seconds a full grown tree flung up from the ground, branches extending several feet filled with lush leaves. It was unfortunate that Ammy herself was also in range to be smacked around by the thick branches coming up to meet her. Wooden limbs raced into the sky, completely surrounding the wolf as she fell. Several smaller ones snapped under her opposing momentum but she was unlucky enough to meet up with a rather thick one.

Despite the blinding daze at which she hit the tree's branch she instinctively extended her claws and went to rake across the wood. For a moment while sliding around the branch she slowed, her claws trailing across the bark as they went but she stopped... until a bomb exploded in her face. Once again she was again headed for the ground. Thankfully it wasn't as far down as it would have been otherwise. The white wolf managed to land, toppling onto her stomach a moment later in much need of a good head clearing. Within a few moments the tree hailed with bombs would disperse into a burst of seeds, floating up into the air in a cover of fluffy snow to add to the cloudy cast as their creator shook her head and raised herself back to her feet.

Huh, Lucario actually did what laharl told him. I-i mean, OF COURSE LUCARIO DID WHAT LAHARL TOLD HIM! Laharl begun to smirk, showing lucario that, no, the young overlord didn't care that lucario was basically being forced to perform under instinct rather than himself. Well, until he dropped the aura sphere half way. Good news, it atleast gave Laharl time to notice cragalanche's weak spot. "Hey. Mini boss, see the glowing spot on it's back! Distract the boulder by  running around him, then attack it from behind!" Laharl said, giving his command's stern to Lucario, hoping to take advantage of his instincts. And then, Waluigi's Final Smash.

"But first, block! Block! Take the chip damage to boost your damage!!!" Laharl said, really intent on making Lucario more powerful through damage.

As he meditated, Lucario's dangly aura things shook violently, clearly showing that, thanks to his current internal battle, his attempts at drowning out the surrounding aura had backfired, and in fact hyper focused him on the battle at hand. It would appear the instincts of a Pokemon were slowly winning out, which was bad. If he couldn't figure out how to counter them fast, he would possibly wind up actually considering the brat his master! Lucario shuddered at the thought, only to notice Waluigi's aura suddenly fluctuate, which told him something bad was about to happen.

And happen it did as the arena suddenly filled with black clouds, each dotted with smaller, weaker aura. Small creatures with short life spans perhaps? As they began to fall from the sky, his suspicions were confirmed, as it suddenly began to rain Bob-Bombs! Lucario was all too familiar with the buggers, back in the Subspace Emissary event they'd occasional be dropped but he Primids, and if used incorrectly, well, it was bad news. Lucario realized he had to act fast, lest he beg caught up in the rain of Bob-Bombs. He quickly opened his eyes, and looked to the sky, watching for when they would fall, and then attempting to make a run for it.

This plan backfired. Big time. Thanks to the unexpected order from Laharl breaking his concentration, and his instincts going to work the moment he said something, he immediately set off towards Cragalanche, and attacked the spot on his back with a quick kick, and then a sudden Force Palm.

His actions stunned the Pokemon. Not only had he performed the task, but he had performed it efficiently, but he had performed it well. He quickly backed away from Cragalance, his eyes wide as dinner plates in shock. He then shook his head, trying to fight back the very things that had been instilled in him at birth. Damnit, why is it that Arceus had done such a thing?! Why had Arceus instilled such instincts in Pokemon to begin with?! Let alone KEEP them! This shock had left him one spot for far too long, as suddenly he was nailed by multiple Bob-Bombs, falling seemingly out of nowhere.

The Aura Pokemon faired seemingly well, however, when the smoke surrounding him cleared, his fur was clearly singed, and he was panting, arms crossed in front of his chest. If they had listened carefully, they would have noticed they sound of something shattering upon the third explosion, signaling he had used his bubble shield to try and minimize the da,age of Waluigi's final smash. This Attack had damaged the Pokemon, but he was halfway to full strength thanks to it, the aura emenating from his palms had grown larger clearly signifieing he had just become a more dangerous opponent.
