Out on the docks of the wrecked Mushroom Kingdom was a flagship known as the S.S. Flavio. This ship was left behind by Flavio since bringing it to the Life Sphere was not an option. This ship is now Dimentio and his new crew's ride to Keelhaul Key to find the treasure of Cortez, a legendary deceased pirate. Dimentio was double checking the ship to make sure it was in fine enough condition. The ship would not even be needed if it wasn't for one person being unable to travel by means other than foot. It seemed in good enough sea faring condition. Dimentio's reason for setting this up was for more than treasure, it is said that Cortez found a mystical item known as a 'Crystal Star'. These Crystal Stars should be of great use if anything like the Pure Hearts and Chaos Heart.

Now all that was needed for them to arrive at the scheduled meeting place at the docks and then it should be easy sailing to Keelhaul Key.

Another visit to through the dank shadows of the towering mushrooms. Not exactly one of her favorite places to go but at least it was a quick in and out unlike usual. Her low bearing flight around the thick rubbery stalks went blissfully undeterred and Cynder found herself at the edge staring out at the ocean. Even plagued with starvia, the oceans of Li had a glitter to them that couldn't go unnoticed.

With only a little delay to gawk at the view the dragoness made her way toward the waiting ship. Setting down she expected to feel a bit unsteady but the boat was far to large to give way to the light laps of the water.
"We'll see how it is when moving..." she muttered to herself.

Paula was the next to arrive at the ships location. Mushroom ruins, the first place she was at in LI, now she's back to do some treasure hunting. She shutted herself in her house for the past 15 Hours to focus on finding Eagleland and now she needed a break from all that hard work (Despite not finding anything, AGAIN,) so when she heard about this mission she took it to get a bit of fresh air.


Paula looked up to the ship, it may look small and cramped but hey she's been on worse ships. Lets just hope her and her Mission partners don't meet a Kraken like monster in the dark seas. She walked onto the ship and looked around. She then noticed Cynder, one of her mission partners. "Oh, Why hello there miss!" She said politely at her.

From the ground, as always, a fiery storm erupted as hades stepped from the black flames...and he was dressed to the brim in pirates garb, even having a green beard that matched his magnificent seaweed-esque hair. "Ah, yes. Perfection." Hades adjusted his pirates hat, as he skipped himself onto the dock. "Now, lets see who the great and mighty Troll beard the pirate be sailing with..." Hades took one look at Cynder,and one thought came to his mind. "I'm gonna ride that thing into battle in this mission." Hades looked at paula, and the thought struck his mind. How does a little girl get to be put on these missions, why do we not have restrictions on these things.



Hades stepped together with the group, and gave a smile. A smile that only said one thing. "I'm gonna troll the enemies, us, myself and everyone in between." Hades waved. "Hello there. I'm hades, god of the underworld. But for this adventure, I'm pirate of the underworld as well."

As the group boarded the ship, Dimentio flipped in from his signature box outline. "Great for you to come. Now let's rob that Pirate Stash like a child thief at a Candy Shop! Blond Girl will keep watch from the Crow's Nest, Trollbread will man the cannons or the lack of rather, and the dragon will be my first mate. You just boss the other 2 like plants to cavemen. Now, we set sail for Keelhaul Key!" Dimentio said.

The seas seemed to get rougher and shake the boat as the ship got closer to Keelhaul Key. Though the sky looked to get dark and cloudy pretty quickly. If one were to pay close enough attention, it would seem like blue fire was starting to appear in the sea.

The dragoness twisted her neck around to regard the kindly chipper voice. "Hello," she returned with a bright smile across her face. Cynder turned herself around to be more courteous to the pleasant girl, her wings tucked in nicely to avoid any mishaps. "Don't believe I've seen you around before. My name's Cynder, pleasure to meet you." As she finished the dark dragon made a slight bow of her head.

A scratchy voice from the dock drew Cynder's attention momentarily. She didn't quite catch what he said but just looking at him she knew he wasn't going to be as charming as Paula. At the first words from his mouth once he was aboard the dragoness was mentally marking him on the Sparx list. She didn't even respond back, instead staring up at the tall 'pirate' with a dull annoyance.

Luckily Dimentio flipped into the picture to distract the group. Her mood was instantly elevated with an ego boost from the floating jester; first mate right off the bat? Cynder raised her head, stood straighter, pushed out her chest with stiff shoulders, and curled her tail to assume a very regal posture. She didn't quite understand the reference made about plants and cavemen, but that didn't matter.

Once they were off she bounded up the small set of stairs to stare over railing at the bulk of the deck, having to set her front paws on the wooden rail and stand on her back two legs in order to accomplish this. When there seemed to be something forming in the distance she yelled out to their lookout.
"Paula! Can you see anything?"

Paula looked at Cynder and smiled. "Its nice to meet you too Cynder, im Paula. I'm sure we'll get along nicely, now I heard there's two other members joining us..I won--" Before she could finish Paula was met by the third member of this mission..A Tall purple coloured man who called himself..Captain Trollbeard?..Wait nope!, Its Hades, the God of the underworld..wait, thee God of the underworld acting like a Pirate?..Well this is a site to be seen.."Wait..Your..that Hades..from the Greek Mythos?..never less, Im Paula, i hope we will get along well together on this Mission for treasure Mr Hades!" Paula said to the god nicely as her mind tried to take in at this sudden realisation. Soon the fourth Member..Dimentio, appeared and seems to be the leader of this mission..In an instant he assigned Paula and co with jobs as the ship started to sail to the mission location..Keelhaul key.


"Its Paula, But ok!" Paula said to Dimentio as she ran to the side of the ship to do her little job of Lookout..As the ship approached Keelhaul the weather and tide started to change drasticly. The calm and normal weather quickly turning Hellish as Paula tried to keep her balance and not fall on the ships wooden floor, she thought "This wont end well..especially with someone like Hades on board!" and her fears might become true as Paula's eyes widen from the blue flames that started to appear from the Ocean. Just then Cynder called out to her, wanting to see how the state of there journey is.

"The Only obstacle are those Blue flames coming out of the water..other then that, the only problems are the tide and weather!. I suggest we steer to either side of the island and park there." She said to Cynder and co.

"Well, i suppose only one god in this world can have hair this amazing." Hades said, stroking his beard in wonder as to how they guessed him so quickly. "But enough about that, what roles are we playing here?" Hades said, looking at dimentio. And hades's big old troll grin slowly shattered. "What?! Why does she get to be first mate?!?! You passed up THE LORD OF THE UNDERWORLD!!!...Fine, whatever."



It wasn't even really the fact that she was first man, it was more the fact hades was stuck manning the big boring tube of iron that fired big balls of other metal. Hades himself was practically cannon anyway, so he was just manning a useless turret. Oh well, if they encounter another ship at least hades can blow it to the underworld and eat the souls of who was aboard. Hades wandered around the deck, looking for the cannon's, until eventually finding one and sitting behind it, leaning back and reading a auto-biography called "The life of Duke Nukem." "Huh...I can relate with this." Hades said, half-listening to the other's call's of blue supernatural fire and the like. "Its probably just the wind!" Hades called out as his only response.

Yep, the Lord of the Underworld reacted just like Dimentio expected. How he loved to see people's reactions to his weird wordplay and other things he tended to do. Besides, the dragon seemed smarter than Hades... not sure why exactly, just seemed that way. Besides, a person that declared himself a troll clearly was not cut out for 1st Mate Duty.

Dimentio took a brief second from steering the ship to see what the others were talking about. "Huh? Oh, those are just spirits of ghosts probably upset that we are near their island where their stash is."

A spanish voice started sounding near the ship, apparently trying to sound like the stereotypical ghost. "OOOOOoooo, ye shall regret coming here!" The voice boomed as the blue spirit fires started appearing on the ship and spreading. As this was happening, 3 Dry Bone Pirates boarded the ship. One did a downward jump slash at Hades to smash his book as well as him, another did a horizontal Bash at Cynder, While the other threw his Bone like a boomerang at Paula.

"Right, I'll try and get us to shore," Dimentio said as he teleported back to port.

Paula's suggestion seemed solid enough, though Dimentio didn't seem worried at all. Before Cynder could offer any first mate council a booming voice echoed around them. Immediately the dragoness retreated from the banister onto all fours and glanced around the ship for a source. As she expected with the seemingly all encompassing audio she wasn't able to find anything.

The glint of fiery blue entities hopping up onto the ship drew her attention back to the main deck. "Hades!?" she angrily shouted. What good was having someone on canon duty if they let enemies onto the ship without even attempting a pot shot. Whatever, he could probably take care of himself just fine. Paula was in the most danger since she was on the main deck instead of the crows nest. Unfortunately just as Cynder made to hop down the stairs to aid her friendly ally she was blindsided, which pushed her over the railing of the stairs and sent her toppling in a daze by the door to the cabin.

Head spinning the dark dragon tried to shake it off quickly, but that just left her a bit dizzy. Despite this she sloppily bounded toward the shiny spits of blue fire and released a stream of her shadow fire in an attempt to snuff some out. Cynder continued to step toward Paula while spewing her breath weapon across the deck. How good her aim wasn't something she currently had the coordination to determine, but just clearing an area didn't require good aim.

"Wait..Ghosts!?" But before anything could happen the ship was invaded by the 5 blue spirits and the 3 Dry bones. Along with a weird spanish voice that's TRYING so hard to sound like a ghost yet he's failing. As Paula looked at the flames causing a nuisance on the ship she saw Cynder trying to get to her however she got hit by one of those pirates in the process.

"Cynder, Hang on!" Paula said as tried to get to her friend, however one of the dry bones appeared infront of her and threw a bone like boomerang at her.

Paula easily dodged the boomerang, in fact she did so well that she ended up grabbing the boomerang!. "Oops, dose this belong to you?, I'll pass it back!" Paula said as she threw the boomerang as hard as she can at the Dry bones pirate.

While the Dry bone was distracted by her weak throwing Paula quickly ran to Cynder, dodging some of her flames she made due to her dizziness in the process. "Are you ok?" she said to her friend however one of the ghosts appeared in front of her. "I dont think so ghost!" she said as she cast PSI Frost on it, trying to blow it away.

While casting frost Paula almost walked into one of the flames Cynder made. "Oops, that was close..i would of setted myself on fire!, hehe!" Paula jokingly said to Cynder. She looked around for Hades, not seeing him anywhere.

Hades was to busy readying his book to even notice the ship was being attacked. His legs were propped up on the cannon, leaning back in his chair as he read. No, he didn't even bother trying to dodge the jump smash, but he did move his book away.

Hades looked up after getting whacked, his body remaining perfectly still as he just turned his head around. "Oh, hello there. Do you mind, im busy doing something." Hades said to the dry bones. Hades sighed, closing his book. "Cynder!" Hades called out in reply, like a smash brothers version of marco polo as well as purposefully ignoring the dry bones. Hades then turned to the skeletal koopa, and then proceeded to deliver a explosive punch to it.

"Alright, time to test this puppy out..." Hades said, grabbing the cannon and aiming it to the enemies aboard the ship. He didnt plan to blow holes in his own ship, but he did start firing it against the dry bones aboard the ship.

At first, it would seem weird that the Embers eagerly went into the flames Cynder was throwing out. However, they were disappointed the flames did not have normal properties but it did not affect them since spirits don't need to breathe like normal flame. In outrage, they started multiplying by 3 each, feeling cheated. However, one of the Embers did get hurt pretty badly from the Freezing attack as it was weak to ice attacks.

As for the Dry Bones, the one that attacked Hades just simply jumped out of the way. However, he did jump right into getting getting fired at by a Cannonball. Thinking fast, the Dry Bones deflected the Cannonball into the ship though he still got hurt from not being prepared. The other two were more prepared and smacked the cannonballs into the ship without a scratch. Thanks to Hades, there is now 3 holes in the ship. And Cynder can be thanked for the 15 Embers.

"Hahahaha! You amigos are so doomed... Uh... I mean... OOOOOOooooo! Finish them off!"

"Trollbeard, do you think you can't supply our enemy with ammo to destroy our ship? Thank you," Dimentio said  as the island was getting closer but the ship was still in heavy trouble.

Despite things settling in Cynder's momentary dizziness everything seemed to be going quite the opposite rather quickly for their group. She must have been dizzier than she thought since now there were tons more of the little flame spirits. The dragoness was too busy trying to figure out an alternative way to deal with the flames to bother correcting Paula about her fire. These elementals appeared to be the opposite of normal fire, Cynder taking note of the effective frost attack from Paula.

Though it went against her initial instincts the best thing the dark dragon could think of was to boost Paula's freezing wind attack.
"Hey, can you do that frost attack again?" Cynder asked of her ally. It was more of a request than a question, but she wasn't sure if there was a limit to how many times the psychic could use her freezing ability. Provided the answer was yes, Cynder flared her wings and began mustering her wind element. When Paula made her own PSI freezing wind Cynder was ready to send her own whirlwind to boost the intensity of the whipping cold and hopefully spread it to hit multiple of the blue embers.

As more Embers started to appear due to Cynders flame, Paula stepped back a bit so the Embers wont hit her. When Cynder requested her to use PSI frost again for a Combo attack, Paula nodded. "Right, one frost attack incoming!" and with that Paula shooted more PSI frost at the Embers, this time with Cynders wind element they would deal probably deal mass damage to not 1, but possibly all 15 Embers and maybe even the Dry bones on the ship, although that's a bit over doing it!

Man Paula was off her rock today!. Although hopefully with the frost that she fired, it would hopefully do damage to an Ember. As Cynders wind element took effect, Paula held onto her dress and felt a slight breeze as the weather suddenly felt cold. "Lets hope it hits a lot of them!" she said to Cynder.
