Midbus did feel something as he was taking it silent and calm unlike Fawful being open with his sobbing.

To think that those girls had been through so much, Kagami did say she had trust issues and Jovie, well, she was too sweet.

"Yes.. and it explains a lot." he admitted as he crossed his arms calmly even though he would look to Fawful still crying despite of hiding his face away. "They really do care about us."

Midbus never had anyone besides Fawful care for him so this was new. However, he is aware of one thing and it's to build up trust with the girls as Fawful had said.

"Jovie, it's okay. Calm down, alright?" Kagami asked before she sighed. "Let's just head back and find them."

Of course, the girls would head back inside to the area they came from.

"Do you feel better now?" Kagami asked as Jovie nodded, "Yeah, Jovie is fine. Though, it feels like the weight has been lifted. Jovie needed to cry.. but then again, it reminded Jovie of something that was told: something about when it rains, look for rainbows.."

"So a weather-like take to how things are?" Kagami asked before Jovie nodded. "Yeah.."

"That's good." Kagami smirked before she would stop. "Now you said Fawful was last in the kitchen, right?"

"Yep! That's where Jovie saw Mister Fawful and Mister Midbus." Jovie smiled but this time it was genuine. "By the way, thanks big sis."

"I care about you and besides, it's my responsibility after all." Kagami smiled back before Jovie would wander around a bit in the area. "Mister Fawful? Mister Midbus? Hello?"

"They love Fawful, they truly love Fawful. Oh what joyness to be loved by someone who Fawful did not have to hypnotize. Well besides you of course Midbus." Fawful said.

Fawful then hears the girls calling for him and Midbus. He then puts away the handkerchief and clean himself up. Before going to meet the girls.

"There you two are you had Fawful worried with the sickness. Thankfully you two didn't venture too far and no customer came in while you were in my shop. Fawful wouldn't want you to be alone with the stranger. Thank Fawful that Fawful was able to find you two in time. So what have you two been up to while Fawful was cooking?" Fawful said.

He of course is hiding the fact that he listened in to them and that their stories/sisterly moment moved him to tears. Though not hiding the fact he genuinely worried for them. Even more then just finding them as useful for his plans. It would be especially dangerous if one of his more shady clients came in. To ask for any of the weapons that he is producing/selling. Which he has safely hidden from view and a part of why he's situated in the Black Market.

"Just taking care of loose ends." Kagami answered as she sighed. "We worked things out with each other, isn't that right Jovie?"

"Yes! Yes! It's true! Oh and sorry about worrying you Mister Fawful and you too Mister Midbus. It was Jovie's fault for running off.." Jovie felt bad for that but it wouldn't be long before she perked up. "Though now everything is good again!"

Jovie was truly happy and Kagami nodded.

"Yeah, I should also say sorry as well but I couldn't let Jovie be alone by herself."

Kagami smirked, "Another thing, Jovie did tell me that you told her that you're gonna help her with cooking recently."

"You should join us big sis! It'll be fun!" Jovie looked to Kagami with eagerness as she wanted to spend time with her big sister, which Kagami did feel a bit awkward about it. "Well..."

A pause.

"Alright. I'll give it a chance." Kagami smiled as Jovie giggled. "Yay! This is wonderful! Jovie really can't wait now but it'll be up to Mister Fawful on when. Yeah!"

"Fawful accepts your apology but don't be the doing of it again. Fawful's customers are not always the friendly sort. So Fawful is glad that none entered while you were in there?" Fawful said.

He then nodded when Kagami explained that Jovie wanted to learn to cook but was surprised that Kagami wanted to watch as well. It seems that talk made them closer than he thought.

"Fawful shall teach you the cooking skills Fawful acquired soonish, but not today. Today is getting late and you two should be in the bed doing the sleeping now. Fawful is hoping you too get the sweet dreams. Like the fluffy marshmallows lying down in the cozy hot chocolate." Fawful said.

He then leads them to the room that Midbus prepared. Hopefully, everything will be in order. And that the girls have gotten their quarters. They would probably not be comfortable sleeping in the same room as Midbus. He would have to make room in his room for Midbus to sleep there if he has to...not in the same bed of course.

Even as the girls went with Midbus following in the far back of the group, Jovie was already getting tired and Kagami had taken notice.

"Thank you Mister Fawful." Jovie mused tiredly as she was getting sleepy, but not too much. "Sweet dreams? Jovie can say the same to you, Mister Midbus and big sis, hehe!"

Jovie was the first to enter in the room after Fawful as Kagami entered secondly, though, she wasn't going to take off her gloves just yet until Fawful leaves because she already has attracted his attention with the amulet.

"Hey, quick question Fawful, got any books to read?" Kagami asked as Jovie paused. "Books? Oh! Oh! Jovie knows where this is going! Storytime before bed, right?"

Jovie enjoyed her storytime before bed as it help her relax.

Oh gosh, he is unsure if he has any books a child would read. Then he would have to use the sacred art of storytelling and make his own story. He racks his brain to think of one and it comes to him.

"Fawful may not have a book that you two would be liking but Fawful has a story, it's called Two Bad Rats. Once there were two bad rats one red and green and very very smelly. They bullied a smart mouse because he had more cleverness than they did. Even after blocking their paths with the hard rock they smashed through and continued to be doing the pestering of them. That is when the mouse had enough. Using his smartness the mouse gathered as many parts he could find around the house to build a giant robot that towered over the bad rats like a towering all-you-can-eat buffet platter held by an overweight man with too much of the money to spend. The bad rats begged for mercy but the mouse was not willing to give forgiveness. And then stepped on and squashed the two bad rats splattering to the ground like a ketchup packet bursting out its gooey red insides. And that is the end of the tale Fawful has been telling you right now." Fawful said.

"Those meanie rats. Yeah! I'm glad that the mouse stood up to them." Jovie nodded as Kagami replied, "The best part was the ending, hehe."

She totally knew who Fawful was referencing to and it wouldn't be long before Jovie would reply, "Thanks for the story Mister Fawful."

Of course, Jovie wouldn't be without her going to Fawful and hugging him before she would notice that Midbus was around and hugged him as well with the final of the hugs going to Kagami. It wasn't long before she would take her shoes off and put them up neatly in somewhere they could be at before she would climb in the bed and take off her glasses, putting them on the side table.

"Good night Mister Fawful, Mister Midbus and big sis." she sighed before she would pull up her blanket to cover herself up before she would go to sleep, closing her eyes. "See you in the morning."

After that, Kagami sighed, "Yeah, she's definitely a morning person."

Kagami did look tired herself but she wasn't someone that looks like she'll fall asleep just yet.

"Guess it's just the three of us awake now." she whispered to Fawful. "Oh and hey, thanks for telling Jovie a story even though you had to wing it though I'll tell you this: she really enjoys the fairytales so you know for the next time."

"Ha ha ha ha! Yes, the moral of the story of course is no matter how much bigness and toughness you have you can easily outwit someone using your brain. Fawful is glad that you enjoyed Fawful's story and Fawful will have more to tell you in the meantime," Fawful said.

Fawful was surprised by Jovie's hug and didn't know how to respond, he just stood there and took it. As she goes off to hug Midbus and then her own sister. She has grown to like them that much. She really does see them as family already. Fawful shed one more tear before being stopped by Kagami.

"Ah yes, Fawful will remember to get the fairytale books for next time, in the meantime, Fawful will be doing more of the research. All of my books are the boringness books that only smart people like Fawful read. Too long and drawn out to tell for the bedtime. And Fawful wants to read one before heading to bed himself," Fawful said.

He then goes to his lab again to where the bookshelf is before picking out a book labeled "Magic for Geniuses". As he looks through the table of contents and finds the chapter on magical seals. He flips through the pages to that point and begins reading. Hoping for some kind of method or clue he could use to unlock the seal on Kagami's amulet. Maybe he can try to do so with what little Dark Star energy he has, after all the amulet is made with the same power, but he can only use it so often and it takes a while to use it again.

He is especially looking for a method that won't hurt or do worse to the wearer/owner of the amulet. After all, he's not a child murderer.

Kagami was a little miffed at the comment but she didn't do anything else. Though just as Fawful would leave, Midbus followed after him, leaving her to her own side of the ordeal.

Of course, what she started to do first was remove her gloves, which actually unveiled her hands which were covered with the indigo coloration that had enveloped them. Of all those years of wearing that amulet, she didn't think that the corruption would be this bad but it was and she hid them for a reason, though, as she would go to her bed, she would sit down on it before removing her shoes.

"I didn't think there was a failsafe on this." Kagami sighed as she would look to the amulet, knowing that her ancestor put a magical lock on the amulet before looking to the sleeping Jovie. "Don't worry Jovie, I'm sure you'll realize something soon..though I'm getting a feeling that you are going to play as a supportive role in all this."


Of course, she would eventually sigh.

"A lot of things has been happening.."

Kagami was thinking on some things but even if she would eventually take off her glasses and put it on the side table, she would still be awake, sitting up on her bed for a moment, thinking before she would lie down for a bit, staring out before she would close her eyes after a time.

It would seem that she was tired and it wouldn't be long before the door would shut before the lights would click off in the girl's room, namely due to Kagami's powers.
