Despite Lusamine’s best efforts, the Wooloo broke out of the Pokeball. In fact, it hardly seemed like it was much of a struggle for the sheep. While she was well aware that more often than not a regular Pokeball was already quite unreliable, the thing keeping together almost being down to random chance, she couldn’t help but to show a bit of her fluster when she saw that Lillie had caught her Wooloo with little to no issue at all, especially when she was trying to make this a teachable moment. A slight frown formed on her lips, she was almost ready to stomp her heel in the ground. Of course, by sheer blind luck Lillie was able to catch that Pokemon, no doubt she would hold this moment over her, showing her that she did know better than her own mother.
She was ready to snap at Lillie, tell her that her accomplishment was luck, nothing like the finely crafted skills that she had worked so hard to hone. No, hold yourself together, Lusamine. The time was not right. Instead, she performed a sort of meditative breathing in through her nose and out through her mouth. She regained a steely gaze and then let out a little chuckle. “My, my, this must be a strong Wooloo. Don’t I know how to pick’em” she asked rhetorically, in a sort of optimistically dismissive tone. “As much as it pains me, it’ll need to be a bit weaker before it can accept my love.”
Unsure of what to do, Melody turned to Lusamine with a cross-eyed stare of wonder. It wouldn’t be much longer before she was directed by her trainer pointer finger, back to the target Pokemon ahead. “How about we give our friend a warm bath! Give it a scald!” Melody nodded, producing a flow of water from its mouth, dousing the woolly beast with searing hot water!

“Follow that up with a lullaby!” Lusamine directed. Once more, Melody opened her mouth to release a sort of melodious echo, a soothing song that would catch most Pokemon off guard due to the sweetness of its sound. Unfortunately, as soon as it wormed its way through their eardrums, it was anything but pleasant.

Bringing the Wooloo through the ringer once more, Lusamine knew that now more than ever, it was the time to bring them home. With a knowing smile, she pulled another Pokeball from behind her and casted it forth, aiming to catch the creature inside the capsule.
