Well this is a thing! The crowds of people were flocking towards the stadium, coming in droves to take their seats, a feat that was only matched by the fight between Shantae and Captain Falcon since the fight was against the F-Zero hero and the Half-Genie Hero themselves; and the the fight between Pit and Tuxedo Mask, showing that even a Dapper dandy can unveil their own power when least expected. The sky above the arena and the collective heads of the crowd was a cold granite grey, almost threatening to rain on their parade, a rain that would not come because of the sudden fog obscuring the gazes of the crowd...

At first, it was eeriely quiet...

Then it all went to heck in a bread basket as the sudden sound of a scythe blade slamming into the ground was heard, those who heard that sound only knew one thing...

'He' was approaching...

The shadow of someone who best fit that description, immediately came into view as they hefted their scythe out of the ground, then with a slash; caused the fog to dissipate to reveal their presence.

It was Death, the Grim Reaper of Castlevania

"This is gonna be a good time for me to get the blood - Or lack thereof - pumping."[/center][/I][/b] Death said as he looks to the crowd of battle-hungry spectators, patiently waiting for his partner, some opponents, and of course; a referee to judge the match.

Death, prepare to be upstaged. A scream broke out from the announcer’s booth as now a Mik was in control of the microphone. “Lethal ladies and genocidal gentlemen, presenting the marquee creature of this deadly double feature who will duel in tandem with Death!” A flock of Reapette’s hijacked the lighting system, rigging four spotlights to scan searchingly across the stadium. Above, a chorus of Syrens swarmed the arena, flying in gracefully choreographed formations, singing a resplendent requirum. The floor beside Death began to swirl and swallow in on itself to make way for an entrance of apocalyptic proportions. A deep rumble of thunder roared from the arena floors as Octos drumming on Totems rose from beneath the floor.
“The snake who made you quake, now the balloon who makes you swoon! Hide your daughters and wives, for ‘tis he will end your lives!” Out of the sinkhole rose an Eggplant Wizard with shades and a beret, leading a troup of skeletal squids known as Skuttlers in a march as they curried a large casket on their shoulders. It resembled a New Orleans funeral only with a flamboyantly Underworldian sense of flair. “All the way from the center of the earth, summoned here for your delight and mirth, Raise a toast to the host with the most ghosts to boast!” The casket opened with a bloody burst of confetti and even a firework which exploded into body parts that rained down on the stadium floor. These body parts were swept up into a whirlwind and reassembled at a point found by all spotlights… “Give a cold dead, Sunshine Stadium welcome to the one, the only...”
“....The Hamaaazing Thanatos! God! Of! Death!”
	“Συγνώμη για την αναμονή! Oohoohoo!” Thanatos flamboyantly waved to the crowd as all the Underworld troops in his entrance committee applauded. ♪“Wilkomen, Bienvenue, Welcome! Im Macrabe, au Macrabe, to Macrabe!”♪ He waved and blew kisses of death at the crowd. “Oh-So good to see you again, Grimmy D. How you been~?” He then accepted the stolen mic, surrendered by the Mik under his command.
	“Dearly beloved. We are gathered here today, to celebrate the lives, and timely deaths of two noble and most legendary heroes, who have bravely volunteered to lay down their lives for your entertainment!” He adopted a more somber, serious tone as if to give a eulogy. “And who might these volunteers be, hmmm~? I’d sure like to know!” He visored his free hand over his eyes, which transformed into binoculars and scanned the crowd. “Yoo Hoo~! Heroes~! Come out, come out wherever you are~! You can’t hide from death forever, ya know.”

[Princess Zelda of Calamity]

Two forces that radiated a great amount of evil entered the Stadium. Zelda was worried that there would be an attack so she hurried to the stands just to... pause at Thanatos's intro. They seemed to be here for a Stadium match...? The performance was... humorous if not extremely morbid. Zelda wasn't sure if she should laugh or be concerned... still, he makes it pretty clear the costs so Zelda decides to challenge fate once more after a moment of pondering the situation... Or Death in this case. Hopefully it goes better this time.

"You're sure of yourself but do not consider that our time is not here!" Zelda declares jumping over the stadium ramp and onto the stadium floor. "I can not hide so only one option remains... I must challenge death and overcome it! I am Zelda and I will not fall here!" Zelda declares in a speech that mostly assured herself more than anything. It was good to keep morale going. She pulls out her Sheikah Slateand gets into a readied stance to demonstrate her lack of fear... Or at least her attempts to fight it.

--Oh hey, guess who's gliding his way down to the arena. A young, blonde Hylian lands on the ground next to Zelda, looking at her for a moment before turning to the other two...creatures. The Master Sword on his back began to glow a faint blue, as if detecting the malice from the two other participants.

"...!" With a grunt, Link unsheathed the sword of evil's bane and grabbed the Hylian Shield, standing ready for a fight. He stands next to Zelda and gives her a reassuring nod, as if to tell her they were gonna be fine. He was gonna make sure those two weren't gonna try anything funny to either of them. For now though, Link stood his ground, bravely staring down the opposition.

[Mr. Game & Watch]

The dark and gloomy skies mixed with the usual Sunshine Stadium crew being replaced with the army of the underworld did not bode well, not in the slightest! That said, people came from every corner of the Life Sphere regardless! Never has the Sunshine Stadium seemed so lively!

Better yet, two heroes of light arrived into the ring, and what better show was there than to lay witness to Good vs Evil! Light vs Dark! Life vs Death! Who would win? Better yet, where would the audience’s faith land after the end of the battle? Would they continue to believe in the triumph over evil or would they fall into staunch nihilism? It all hinged in the balance, because clearly the only thing that can convince some people is who hits the other harder in the face.

But, there could be no match with a proper referee! One of the many Miks floating around the arena descended before the two sets of combatants, cutting them off right in the middle. It opened its maw, releasing a mucus covered MC Ballyhoo into the stadium’s dirt. “BLEGH!” he bellowed out in disgust, flicking his arms every which way in an attempt to get the oozing saliva off him.

“And here I thought YOUR mouth was the grossest I’ve seen” Big Top muttered as a propeller busted out of his cap, spinning in rapid succession to hopefully rid him of the slime he was covered in.

Before either could lament further, Ballyhoo swiped his eyes clean and then gazed upon the glowing duo of Link and Zelda, hands raising to the sky as if it was divine intervention. “Oh thank-”

“Hylia” Big Top corrected.

“Can I thank Din instead? She’s always been my favourite of the Hyrule pantheon!”

“Name literally any other Hyrulian Goddess.”

Ballyhoo held a vacant deadeye expression for a fraction of a second before he immediately switched gears and bowed at Link and Zelda’s feet. “Oh heroes of Hyrule! Please help us in our time of need! Defeat these avatars of death that have also ransacked and took control of our humble and peaceful battle arena! In a fair and officially sanctioned Sunshine Stadium battle, you know, the usual no outside help, no items, five bouts, and no ultimate attacks” he added, rolling his hand.

Quickly afterwards, Big Top’s propeller was working properly enough for them to get lift off. Mid-flight, Ballyhoo hovered before the two heroes of Hyrule, pointing to them with great importance. “Only the collective power of the triforce can defeat these two foes! We’re all counting on you!”
