[Valorie Ryder]

The situation is dire. With no idea where the divine spark was lost during the battle with Dharkon, adventurers, heroes, villains, and opportunists alike have taken to the Emerald Coast to search. You find yourselves among them for one reason or another. Perhaps you seek to take it for yourself and gain divine powers. Perhaps you need it to pay off an insurmountable debt. Or perhaps you recognize the folly of entrusting such power to any one hand, and you seek to prevent anyone from ever holding it again. One thing is for sure, powerful players have been attracted and they won't be content to let you run off with it if you find it first.

The location is the site of the late Gunship Absolution, already seemingly picked clean of its most essential parts after its destruction. Normally not a well-traveled site for all it represented, the absolutionists have gotten it in their head that today 'Sonic' will return from death to undo all that has been done in his wake. Where they got that idea from was anyone's guess, but it did raise questions of how. Did they perhaps believe the divine essence was here and that it could be used to bring him back?

Valorie stood right near some of the wreckage, looking inside with a forlorn expression upon her face and resting one hand upon the wall of the wreckage for support. She wasn't sure what she expected to accomplish being out here like this. She was just one good hit away from being unable to stand on her own two feet. How was she supposed to reclaim her lost divine essence like this? “...”

For one reason or another, you find yourself searching the ruins of absolution and the general area for the divine spark. Please establish your presence. You don't have to be doing anything specific, just be in the general area.

Almost immediately, Valorie would be greeted by none other than the Half-Genie Hero herself, Shantae.

"It's been a while since I saw you, Valorie." Shantae said, looking somberly at Valorie and pondering how best to cheer her up, if there was at least one thing that was possible, it was having a friend to keep you company in times like this so they can feel better. "Now that I'm here to keep you company, I'll help you find that divine spark if you want me to." she added, prepared to help Valorie once the others arrived.

When Yumiko heard about the divine spark, she raced over towards the Emerald Coast with a see through gas mask as quickly as she could. It would not only be the first time that she would be testing this mask, but it would be for an important purpose too.

She felt as though given the current situation at the Life Sphere, only certain people should have this spark, and those people are on the side of good, such as the Leaders of the Life Sphere.

Plus she didn't want to imagine someone like Eggman having the spark. Given his past history, Yumiko felt as though if he had some sort of higher power, then he could use it to take the Life Sphere for himself to make another one of his amusement parks or some sort of dystopia that he apparently made in the past according to some history books that she had read.

If it was another amusement park, then Yumiko will have to face long rides, getting lost easily, water based shows that she could get wet easily in, and if people like the Park, then Eggmanland could branch out into something worse, like a mindless corporation that makes live action soulless remakes of previous established events!

Yumiko was thinking too much, but still, she didn't want someone evil or with previous evil history to have something as powerful as the divine spark. Upon seeing Shantae and Valorie, Yumiko ran over to them.

"What happened?" Yumiko asked.

From the horizon, a sphere appeared. Steadily, purposefully, beauitifully the grey circle approached the group and came to a slow stop behind Shantae. They didnt actually seem that focused on searching, but they were definitely doing a good job of following other people around when they moved.

After all, there were plenty of new people here that they'd never met before. Who knows what new interesting things they could learn about from them all?

A bright red light shines through the horizon as the final hour swiftly approaches... And by the final hour it's the Destruction Pokemon, Yvetal with a young lady riding on it's back. She heard rumors of Valorie coming here and there being a war over a shard of godhood? Yvetal seemed interested in the essence and... she wasn't sure what she'd do with it yet but this wasn't a matter she could very well leave alone.

She saw a figure that looked vaguely like Valorie near the Absolution along with a small group of people? Were they working with her? Yvetal swoops down for Serena to jump down when she was close to the ground before recalling her massive Legendary into it's ball. She gave a look to Valorie before shaking her head. "Oh, you're not her..." she mutter in a mix of disappointment and relief. "... So why are you all after this essence?" she decides to ask before she continues looking herself.

Floating gently on the turbulent winds swirling the clouds above the Dark Emerald Coast was an orange parasol held by the white gloved hand of a sky diver inexplicably dressed in a matching orange gown.
With a steering twist of her wrist, she began to descend toward the site of the massive Gunship Absolution’s wrecked skeleton. “See that? That’s why I didn’t take the Skypop!” She tisked with a sassy neck crane to herself in confirmation that her doubts were justified. All those people scouting feverishly to loot the stranded vessel wouldn’t have hesitated to dismantle her plane, had she parked it there. “’Would’ve jacked my rims, spinners and everything.”

On her way down, she narrowed her gaze, searing for a place to land. She soon found one and closed her parasol, using her poofy dress to finish her descent, floating gently to the ground. She’d heard about the massive battle that happened here. It sounded so exciting that she couldn’t stand having missed out on that action, cooped up in her Green House Mansion all day. She needed some fresh air, and even if she couldn’t get that out here, she wasn’t going to miss out on an adventure again. Especially when the stakes were this personal.

“Yo~! Princess Daisy has arrived, so consider this party started!” Daisy waved to Serena, Yumiko, Shantae and Valorie, making her presence known. “What’s the matter, girls? The mall closed for renovations? Eeheeheehee~!” She coyly giggled before stopping to shudder about the last time she’d been there. “...Whew. That was almost funny.”

Witch gave a huff as she remembered her talks with Viridi. This whole god thing was a huge hassle and put a pause button on her plans... Still, for her well-being and Valorie's she had to take care of this herself. Who knows? Even if someone gets it they might target Valorie for any lingering traces and that was not a risk she was about to take... Was a big gathering at the Absolution but none of them seemed hostile.

"Ohohoho~!" Witch would give a laugh as she jumped down from her broom... announcing her late-ish arrival. "No need to worry, Valorie. Now that I'm here that God Essence is as good as ours. I'll get you back to your old self no matter what, promise~! Seriously doubting us?" Witch remarked, giving a glance to the rest of the group. She'll fight all of them if she has to... though a challenge perhaps.

Wearing his Pikachu cloak to protect him from the dark dust flying in the wind, Ash arrived, after a Corviknight taxi to this creepy land. It's always sad to be in such a place that was once full of life...and full of Pokemon, probably. But that's why Ash is helping...to restore this place, so he can continue his quest to become a Pokemon Master!

Speaking of Pokemon, the only person who's a Pokemon Trainer is this blonde girl with the hat...who looks...kinda familiar. His mind was screaming at the back corner of it, trying to recall, but he just can't. These second lives are just really annoying if they don't want to be remembered. But that didn't matter...

...for she has an awesome-looking Pokemon. "Wooooow!" Zipping over to the massive bird and marveling it, "Is this your Pokemon? Is it a Legendary? It looks so coooool!!"

The rodent on his shoulder rubbed his face in annoyance...not at Ash's childlike hyperactive behavior, but at the Legendary. Oh for goodness sake. Another trainer with a Legendary? It's like there's been a bargaining sale just giving away these supposed sacred Pokemon that Ash missed.

...? Valorie was briefly taken aback by Shantae's offer. She wanted to help her find the divine essence?? ...But-- ... Mh. Old friends and such. She gives Shantae a very brief hug in response, not entirely sure if the other understood how much it meant to her but appreciating it none-the-less. When Yumiko approached her, Valorie did a bit of a double take.

((I don't know whether you want to retcon or write off their last battle Sunni, or however you wanna handle that--))

For a moment she was confused as to what Yumiko was talking about, but then it occurred to her that she must be asking about what happened to her. There were some other people arriving. She supposed that telling them the truth probably wouldn't hurt any. “Always glad to have my Wishy. And nnno mall today. That place is crazy~” Valorie sheepishly replied, smiling a little at Daisy's joke before she addressed the bigger question. “I uh--... The divine spark people are looking for ... used to belong to me. Dharkon tore it out of me. I don't know where it fell. I lost consciousness when it happened. ...It was months before I could even get out of bed. I still can't walk properly without magic.” she softly explains. “I guess it was only a matter of time before word got around.” she went on to lament. “I was kind of hoping that maaaybe if I could find the spark again and reabsorb it, it might heal these lingering injuries.” she admitted rather awkwardly. Thank goodness Viridi wasn't around. ...Right? She passed a glance over her shoulder just to check.

A mock sniffle could be heard from nearby, just above the gathered folk, followed by a performatively loud nose blow into a handkerchief and some wailing sobs. "Oh you poor thing! You've been through so much!" a strange voice called out, moments before the source revealed themselves, shimmering into view where once there had been thin air. A devilish imp wearing a jester's hat and sporting colorful, arcane wings tossed their handkerchief and grinned toothily down at Valorie.

"...Don't you think it's about time someone closed the chapter on your life~?"

“...What?” Valorie asked, recoiling slightly. She wasn't sure what he meant by that, but it sounded vaguely like a threat. "Oh you know, retirement. I'm thinking a nice little farm upstate with all the other good boys and girls~! What do you say? Wanna go for a ride~? Huh?? Huh??" Marx replied drifting up to Valorie and getting in her face as he spoke. She stepped back in alarmed bewilderment. Geez, this guy was nuts! “I don't want to live on a farm...” she replied in abject confusion, the gag flying over her head. This got a frown out of Marx, who backed off after a moment. "...Wow, that fight with Dorkon really did damage your brain. Ah well, nothing putting a few bugs in you can't fix! HAHAHAHAHA!" Marx replied before bursting out in laughter at the idea and beginning to dance in thin air, his wings jingling with each bounce, a sprinkling of starvia bugs beginning to fall from them.

Valorie recoiled in horror at his antics, backing off toward Witch for protection. She didn't understand his words at all, but she understood something was deeply wrong with him and got the gist that she wasn't safe here.

Yumiko noticed the injuries on Valorie as she explained what happened to her once everyone had arrived. Yumiko looked at the various people that were here to help get the Spark back, mainly to Serena and Daisy. The former wanted to know why everyone was after the spark, while Daisy made a joke about a party.

"We're not in a party, but good joke though." Yumiko joked to Daisy, before looking over at Serena.

"I'm not after It. I just want to make something as powerful as the spark doesn't end up in the wrong hands. That's the last thing that this planet needs right now." Yumiko said, as she listened to Valorie about what had happened to her.

And that was when she heard a mock sniffle and turned over towards the creature that made that noise, before he mocked Valorie and told the group what he had planned. "Looks like we're not the only one after the Spark." Yumiko prepared herself as her hands glowed, as appearances can be deceiving.

"He's going to kill you is what he meant." Yumiko clarified to Valorie before watching as Marx flew upwards and rained starvia bugs down near the group.

"Like hell you're going to use those bugs on us." Yumiko shot three blasts of maragidyne towards Marx and the starvia bugs in an attempt to burn away the bugs before they can get anywhere near the group.

"You betcha~!" Witch remarks in agreement to Valorie. Though this might be... a little more dangerous than the mall. Just a tiny bit though and less weird... "I'm hoping that's the case myself. Being a god doesn't really interest me but if it'll undo the damage she had taken I will find that orb and you all won't stop me," Witch adds. "You can be sure I'll make sure she uses it right though~. Ohohoho," Witch adds... maybe a little unreassuringly.

Just then a presence appeared... he looked familiar though she never met him personally. She had a feeling the Starvia Generals might be after this thing too... "The only bug here is you. So you better move before you're squashed!" Witch trash talks as she steps between Valorie and Marx before preparing a spell. Thankfully plenty of girls here to power it. "Aurora Luna!" She declared, using the power of the moon to boost everyone's potential for a brief amount of time.

(Witch has cast Luna, all allies get a +1 to their highest stat and DEX modifiers for 2 turns for every girl on the field. 6 girls here so... +6 to those mods)

"Black Hole!" She declared she adds, a gravitational force suddenly converging on Marx and attempting to crush him to dust. She would then add another spell onto it by firing a light beam in the form of Tachyon.

"... I see. So you want to make sure it doesn't get into the wrong hands and you just want your body restored?" She considered this before looking to Yvetal...  Then a few others arrived... A princess making light of the situation and...

She paused as she looked at Ash arrive and admire her Pokemon. What was this... feeling? They felt foreign and yet hers. She did not even know this guy yet something lashed at her. Could of swore she recalled the flying bacon until it looked at her as Ash admired it. "Oh, yes, this is Yvetal, the Destruction Pokemon! He's a legendary I saved from an evil scheme... Don't mind his species, he's actually pretty nice," Serena assured to the Pokemon's silent disgruntledness.

However that tune changed when their search... they weren't working very hard to do was interrupted. What was this conversation right now?... Didn't matter, it looked like he wanted to stand in their way so she had to put a stop to them.

"Yvetal, get ready to battle!" she called, taking a step back as the massive creature flew up from Ash and got ready to face down. This felt intense so she was not sure about testing the limits of her fashion right now with these stakes. "Air Slash into Focus Blast, go!" Serena called as the Dark Type let out it's cry before crossing it's wings to send crossed waves of black energy with red lightning surging through the air towards Marx. All the while a black orb appeared above the Legendary that would launch itself towards the space gremlin. For good measure Yvetal would swing his wing back into position and sending another dark air wave towards the evil clown. A red glow fills Yvetal as his power is a bit too much.

The small grey sphere perked up as more people arrived, listening and watching with some interest as they rolled around between all the different little groups forming. They were excited to meet so many, even if there were so many that they couldn't figure out who to approach before something important seemed to interrupt things. They didn't understand the weird purple creature, they looked weird and confusing... And all of these little bugs... nom ...Gross. Whatever they were doing, it seemed like no one else was a big fan of it, especially not the beanie lady.

They hesitated to act however, looking to the others uncertainly as arrays of projectiles and lights seemed to go flying for the newcomer. They didn't really understand what was happening. Was this evil? They'd only learned of it recently, and it seemed kind of vague, but the immediate hostility... Eventually their eyes fell onto a red and black bird, towering over basically everything else. If they had eyes in this form they would go wide as they saw the massive blasts of darkness, taking in every second. Cooooool...

Well, maybe if everyone else was doing it... It's okay? They definitely dont want to just try doing it themselves, that would be irresponsible. Right, to fight evil. The small sphere expanded, more grey mass pouring out from the inner core to grow and grow and grow, eventually nearly reaching the height of the Yveltal before everything came shrinking down again like a balloon with a figurine inside, shrinking down into another Yveltal! Though... Considerably smaller. It seemed they couldn't quite copy all of that awesome power by sight alone. But it was enough! Their body felt lighter, a sudden boost running through them as they brought their arms together, firing off a rushed array of beams, each more refined than the last as they started to handle this new power.

"Hahaha! I'm not worried," Ash smiled, for he didn't notice the gruntleness of this Legendary. No Pokemon ever worries or disgusts him...except maybe Tentacools and cruels. He's still wondering how Misty thinks they're beautiful. Oh, and Jigglypuff. It's annoying every time it shows up to sing to people, and it puts everyone to sleep and it gets mad and-

Whoops, hold that thought, for some sort...mean looking...Pokemon, maybe? He can talk, which is rare for a Pokemon. It still looks like a Pokemon, but it doesn't look nice. It wants to stop them from finishing their mission...whatever that is.

Marx! He heard about that guy. He's one of Kirby's toughest villains, and that's saying something. Just what purpose does he has to try to stop them? Is he after the essence, as well? Yeah, not a good idea for someone like him to get it. Looks like he'll have to step in and fight this guy, since he is Ash's strongest-

"Gastly!! I choose you!!" Ash shouted, tossing a Pokeball.

"Gaaaaah!!" Blasting out of the ball is Ash's newly caught Pokemon, Gastly...

...who zipped over to Ash and licked him with his massive tongue.

"Guuuuuuh!!" Every time he does that, Ash felt his body numb. Gritting, trying to move his arms, "G-Gastly, quit it!! J-Just use Poison Gas!"

"GAAH!!" His eyes glowed with a ghostly hue, unleashing spiriual flames at the alien.

And then Marx turned up, to which Shantae would say "Well look at that, somebody who should have died to his own black hole...  Oh well, I bet all the benevolent wish-granters will be glad to see you turned into a snacc." Shantae would say as she gives Valorie a mischievous grin that would prolly make her giggle like a dork as the Half-Genie proceeds to launch a surprise fireball to roast Marx to tenderize him...
