It was an interesting situation in the residential district, none of the people who knew much about it only heard about the legendary Cavern of Spirits through rumors and hearsay, but before the three stood the entrance to that very mystical place where Sakura Shinguji would go to train herself on a spiritual level.

The entrance beckons silently, tempting the ones that signed up for the mission to begin their descent into the adventure of a lifetime...

An adventure that will test them to the very limits of their Combat capabilities.

Mission:
START!

The screech of a Loftwing rang through the skies above the residential district. Upon it's head bristled a magnificent black pompadour, but it was no match for the thrice as magnificent red pompadour bristled upon the head of its rider—who daringly leapt and free fell off its back, performing successive flips and assuming several poses... before faceplanting. He took too long to get into landing position. 

“...No MoRe RoAd RuNnEr FoR mE tHaNkS, i'Ll JuSt HaVe PuMpKiN sOup InStEaD.~” The -daredevil dizzily replied a question nobody asked as he peeled himself off the floor.
One brief make-up session later, he was back on his feet and ready to go.

“Sakura Shinuigi (That's her name, right?) If you're in there, have no fear!” He called into the entrance to the Cavern of Spirits. “For the Great Groose is here and will be right in to save you! ...Just as soon as my back up arrives.” He chuckled in denial. “Every Legendary hero needs a sidekick after all, and what's the good of descending into the Adventure of a Lifetime^tm without anyone to share it with? Or tell your story when it's over?”

Fawful is Here

Fawful flies to the place and stops right next to the pompous Groose, who seems to think that he is a part of the backup.

"I have chortles! You are thinking Fawful is being your lackey but it is you who should be Fawful's lackey. Now make sure Fawful doesn't get too hurt in this mission or else Fawful will show you his fury! I'll have you overdone like a burnt roast beef made by a man who is the incompetent!" Fawful said.

He then got out a strange handheld device as he began to scan the area insides of the cave as his Vacuum Helmet grows binocular-like scopes for eyes.

"If there be the Spirits as true to this cavern's name then Fawful's genius will surely allow us to see them before they get the jump on us. Now, where is the third one, if he doesn't hurry up we will be needing a replacement. Like a frantic chef disguising fast food as his own cooking trying to please their boss who needs the medication." Fawful asked.

Fawful then began pacing back and forth in front of the entrance waiting for the third member of their expedition group to arrive.

Approaching in a swift blur of speed, the speedy fox had heard of the cave and chose to make an intro worthy of his type. A straight forward stop within about 20 feet of the other two at present, coming with some minor effort of digging his feet into the ground. While leaving up a bit of a dust trail, he'd been so eager for the trek that he'd briefly been wearing his sewn apron over his chest still. "Hi everyone- whups..!" silly as it was, this wouldn't be an issue for him, as once it was off, the item was folded neatly and tucked into his trusty satchel. This leaving the article of clothing safe from harm, he'd raised his hands overhead and smiled. "Grooose! It's been forever, big fella! How're you? Still looking suave I see!" taking note of his hair being in its usual order, the smile that the vulpine bore for his old friend was extended to a possible new one as well.

"Heya! I'm Arrow Rinehart, don't think we've met before today. Happy to make your acquaintance, we've got some of the best luck having Groose here. He's a strong fella, good head on his shoulders to match his visage, and a heart warming kinda guy!" perhaps prattling on a little too heavy for his compliments, but as the fox missed Groose, it was only natural he'd have good things to say about him. Though the introduction hadn't taken so long that he hadn't taken notice of the Grand sized cave he imagined awaited them. Even the entrance looked mysterious, to his senses, it made him feel like there was much more than met the eye. But there wasn't a whole lot he could discern from the distance. Oh heck yes, this was going to be a blast! Dangerous, as anything that involved spelunking or venturing into a cave system was likely to show. But he wasn't afraid, they were three and together hopefully that meant they'd be able to fend off the challenges of the location to some good effect. 

"Let's venture well and safely together, I can feel that this cave is calling out...begging to be explored."

Upon the arrival of the final member of the group, the sounds of a howling wind-like roar could be heard with it's source seemingly coming from within, there was no monster outside the area of the entrance, though that would change once the group entered the cavern itself...

Just outside the entrance, there was a pair bronze statues, both similar to one another, armed with a greatsword and a shield just as big as a human arm, and a third statue resembling a large quadrupedal purple samurai-esque tiger, and there were indeed stairs leading down into the place, and heading down to face the challenge of the cavern is pretty much going to make an impression.

Everyone:
Steel yourselves, for the section of the Cavern of Spirits are exploring is riddled with clues for you to find and use in this place only.

Gimmick:
The first section of the Cavern of Spirits imposes a strict flat roll to find any clues.
1-5: Nothing; monster attack(1% dmg that can be blocked or dodged)
6-10: common clue; average Monster encounter
11-15: uncommon clue; Monster encounter
16-19: rare clue; No monsters
20: You find the Elder Dragon; Chameleos! Boss battle!

“Yeah yeah whatever. Just keep 6 feet, old man. Is ‘Chortles’ contagious?” Groose rolled his eyes and batted at Fawful, unimpressed by his threat. “And who even Is Fawful anyway?” Groose asked, looking around to see if anyone else was coming behind this little green man. Someone was, and so was their dust trail, but when the dust settled, it wasn’t ‘Fawful’ standing there but...
“Yo Arrow! It’s been years if it hasn’t been a day!” Groose greeted with a hand extended high, expecting him to five it. “Oh, well you know~. Saving lives, smooching wives, the heroe’s life for me.” Groose proudly lied bragged while smugly admiring his nails. How he missed what having Arrow around did for his self-esteem. “Bout to add another notch to my knight’s belt today. How about you?” He asked as he began to inspect one of the bronze statues for a reflection, pretending to listen.

The howling wind-like roar from within the cave managed to call for his attention. And when you call Groose from himself in the mirror, you know you mean business.

Fawful was shocked at Groose's response, especially the fact that he hasn't heard of him.

"Fawful is Fawful, for he is the one speaking to you right now who is I. How could Fawful not be anymore clearer?!" he said.

It is then that the third member of their group arrived. Seems to be one of those animal people he heard about. Though with the name Arrow he would have expected them to use a bow and arrow and not a spear. It uses an arrowhead but still. No use making mountains out of molehills.

"Fawful is just here for the Coin, Fawful needs to money so Fawful's shop business can stay open." he explained.

Fawful looks at the statues, if they were made of Gold he would have melted them down and make golden statuettes of himself, but alas they are bronze. Not even a good enough metal to make robots out of. With his fancy gear, Fawful takes a look inside the cave to give it a quick inspection before they venture any further. So they would know exactly what it is they are getting into.

"Yeah, it's been some time, but not one day has passed that I haven't thought of ya, big guy!" At that he hopped slightly and smacked a high five, pleasantly reminded of time from back home for a moment. He'd seemed to be content in his exchange of pleasantries, little could stop the good vibes at least for now. Though he didn't know Fawful, he'd been amused enough through the interactions so far. "That's fine Fawful, looking forward to working with you anyway!" though he could understand monetary methods, he was still happy to know someone new. Though he gave Groose his best answer, the adventure was always one thing pushing him.


"As per me? Here for the adventure, the depths of this cave await us...who knows what we'll find!" while he looked at the cavern and with his senses, did his best to see about inspecting what it is that he'd see ahead. Foggy blues looking forward and ears perking up to try and see what he could discern during his shot inspecting.
