When Ciel switched on the light. The figure would finally reveal himself to her, and the figure that was shaped as a boy was...

Nothing, just a lump of meat that was in shape of a person. There was nothing sinister down in the Basement at all, well, except for one thing in the middle of the room.

A large pentagram with candles and in the middle was a corpse of someone. Although it originally looked dead, it turned out that the corpse, was still alive!

She was still breathing.

But then she turned upwards towards Ciel and upon seeing her, screamed as the candles around the circle quickly fell over and started to set the Basement alight. As the corpse of the girl floated upwards, away from the flames and towards the roof, where she looked down at Ciel.

THE GUILT OF ALESSA

HP: 25%

"You're a foolish girl for coming here with Masuyo. Now I know where the two of you are, and once I finish off your friends. I will then go after you and Masuyo too for trying to leave my town!" Alessa screamed down at Ciel, which Masuyo soon heard and opened the door to the basement.

"Ciel quickly, let's get out of here. This house is going to collapse because of the fire!" Masuyo called down from the Basement, Ciel can go upstairs and try to escape the house with Masuyo.

However, they can also try and take down Alessa's guilt. Who knows, maybe it'll have an impact later on in the Mission.

(To get to the Guilt of Alessa and defeat her, you must jump through the flames using a DEX roll of 15. Failure will result in Ciel getting a 100% chance of the burned status as well as 50% damage from the flames. However if Ciel succeeds, then she can get to the Guilt of Alessa, defeating her will have a positive impact for the mission if you try and do this. Of course, Ciel can just simply leave the Basement and try to escape with Masuyo, however something might go wrong if you do this.)

Meanwhile back at the school, Vampire!Chiaki was easily defeated by Roll and Axl blasting her away, leaving nothing but the weird boots that she wore behind, as Yumiko looked down at them. "Alright, nothing should be in our way now. Let's go and find the other member of this group and get out of here." Yumiko said to the group before running over towards the Emergency Exit and going outside to the side of the school.

Upon running out to the back of Midwich, Yumiko saw the entire town covered in fog, and more so, it now resembled Silent Hill more then the city everyone came in from. It looks like it was going to be hard for the group to find Ciel at this rate. Yumiko turned over towards everyone. "We should be quick in finding this Ciel girl. What does she look like? I take it nothing like the monsters that Alessa summoned." As Yumiko asked this, she noticed smoke arising on a hill nearby. It was coming from behind the Silent Hill Church.

"Huh?" Yumiko pointed at the smoke, maybe it was a clue to Ciel's whereabouts, when suddenly.

"Psst." A girl called out near a decaying bench, she was reading a newspaper that read

LOCAL GUILTY MAN WITH DEAD WIFE ARRIVES AT SILENT HILL: Whenever I ask where I am, people ignore or are rude to me and the only woman that does try and help me keeps dying, says blonde haired man.

"You're looking for Ciel right?" The girl asked, Yumiko was weary of the girl, as she resembled Alessa.

"Uhh, yeah, do you know where she is?" Yumiko asked.

"Yeah, SHEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL BE DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAADDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!" The Girl laughed out loud as the newspaper quickly burned into pieces. Revealing that yes, she was Alessa, and as she laughed, a siren quickly went off again as she floated upwards into the sky.

As Alessa did this, Silent Hill began to change from a foggy abandoned town, into a greenish wasteland with destroyed buildings and impaled corpses hanging around, all of whom would resembled students that Yumiko knew back in her life before Li, which she tried to ignore, knowing that this was Alessa's own way of tormenting her in order to get her to stay in Silent Hill.

"Alessa, stop this. You're not keeping me here any longer, I have a life outside of this town that I want to get back too. I have friends that are worried about me back in the Life Sphere. I have to return to them and find a way back to my own world!" Yumiko pleaded to Alessa to let everyone go.

But she looked down at Yumiko in anger. "I should be your only friend, I don't want you to abandon me like everyone else who has come to this town, or my own family. If you can't see that, then I'm just going to have to beat it into you!" Alessa then began to summon spikes which she shot down towards Yumiko, Fairy, Roll & Axl.

(Spikes of Tears: Roll a 13 in DEX to dodge the incoming spikes. Failure will result in the spikes piercing you and gaining 30% damage as a result. Should a spike stab you, you can roll a STR 15 roll to pick it up and throw it back at Alessa, doing so will give Alessa 30% damage! However it will also waste an action turn.)

Yumiko was quickly stabbed through the arm by a spike, causing her to fall on her knees in pain as she grabbed her arm and the spike that stuck out of it. "GRRAGH!" She yelled as Alessa laughed at her friend.

"You see Yumiko, this is what happens when you anger me and try to leave me alone here to rot like what happened to my original form!" Alessa scolded Yumiko.

"Isn't this what you wanted!?"

"No, this is what you want, stabbing me isn't going to convince me to stay here in anyway!" Yumiko grabbed the spike and tried to rip it out of her arm.

While Yumiko managed to pull out the spike, the pain was too much and she ended up dropping it before she could try and hit Alessa with it. The spike fizzled into the ground soon after, and what was worse. Alessa wasn't done just yet with her attacks.

"But don't you see, the Life Sphere doesn't need you, it doesn't need anyone, see!?" Alessa summoned up a ball of smoke and proceeded to throw it down towards the four soon after.

(Alessa used Illusion Ball, you must roll a DEX 13 in order to dodge this or you'll gain a 100% chance of getting the Mind-Melted Status, as the effect of the Illusion ball puts someone off balance as they hallucinate someone close to them appearing and telling them that they no longer want them in their life.)

Yumiko managed to get out of the way of Alessa's illusion ball, before turning towards the group, while Alessa reacted in anger. "Guys, lookout!" She shouted towards Fairy, Axl and Roll, before turning over towards Alessa.

"Grr, you dodged it!?" Alessa yelled as Yumiko stood up as Yumiko prepared to fight her.

"Yeah, and I hope you'll be able to dodge this!" Yumiko quickly shot a wind attack towards Alessa in the hopes of knocking her off balance and causing her to fall onto the ground.

"Damnit, I missed." While she said this, Yumiko took the time to try and heal her arm from the spike Alessa has stabbed through her, as there was now a gaping hole out of it that made the pain unbearable.

"Shut the hell up. I know this place is a fake, he, Nakajima-kun wasn't there. When I wanted him too and that woman you had as my mom, isn't real...

My mother's dead, ever since I was born. I only had my dad and my cat Fumihiro to rely on, but I know for a fact that she's not her, I would know it.

And I'm going to get the hell out of here no matter what, no matter how long this takes. I'm going to get back to Li and find a way back to my world and be with my friends, my father, with him again, and so will everyone else here if they lost their families or miss their homes. People like you aren't going to stop us.

SO GET THE HELL OUT OF OUR WAY AND LET US LEAVE THIS SAD TOWN NOW!" Yumiko yelled back towards Alessa, who was taken aback and she had no idea about what to say, she then turned over towards the others.

"Let's shoot her down onto the ground, and then use our most powerful attacks to deal tons of damage to her!" Yumiko told her plan towards the group.

Meanwhile, Alessa's head, began to bleed for some reason as her lip quivered by what Yumiko said.

[Fairy Leviathan]

Leviathan was quick to leave with the others when the way out was opened up to them. No point in staying in the school after all. She noticed the city has changed shape to a much more desolate town in their absence... "... Pink dress, bodysuit, pink helmet, blonde ponytail. Should be pretty easy to pick out in this town," Leviathan answered the question on Ciel's appearance.

Then a suspicious smoking individual holding a newspaper appeared. Funny headline. She was a bit on guard since nothing you could trust in this place so far. Sure enough her hunch was right as the villain revealed herself. The landscape shifted to one even more morbid than before as Leviathan watched her target for a moment.

Leviathan deflected the spike with her spear, launching it to the side with ease. She then swiftly jumped back away from the smoke ball as it exploded where she stood. "You know, you're really bad at taking a hint. Let me spell it out for you," Leviathan began as a blue glow surrounded her, forming into extra armor resembling a Stingray in appearance to showcase she was no longer playing around.

Leviathan then fired her spear tips at the enemy in rapid succession and firing like rockets towards the girl, two managing to hit their mark.

Ciel was busy surveying the room, just kind of debating who had created this meat statue and why, when she noticed movement and recoiled slightly at the sight of Alessa's Guilt. There was always something unsettling about a body that looked like it ought to be dead moving. As this... person threatened her though, she came to the realization that she had made a mistake. ...Or had she? One thing was for sure. If she just ran away, she suspected this being would just... chase them. She had no reason to assume they would just sit here and burn to death. Nor was that... particularly a fate she wanted to subject someone to, enemy or not? So she decided to act.

“Oh, well look who it is.” Roll-Roll sassily greeted, somewhat unintimidated by Alessa's surprise appearance. Listening further silenced her however, as she suddenly found herself ... having some very sudden conflicted feelings about what was going on.

Roll-Roll took aim with her vacuum arm, sucking up the spikes that came for her in a cartoonish fashion, storing them inside her for the moment being. It wasn't anything her stomachs couldn't handle. She did the same with the illusion ball, though her body broke that one down rather quickly, absorbing its energy to heal herself.

((Roll-Roll is bubble shielding both attacks, readying to launch the spikes back at Alessa next turn if she needs to.))

But I don't, and I don't think you do either.” she began to remark, trailing off for just a brief moment in thought. “Honestly, I'm not a good role model for anything. But if there's one thing I learned, ONE THING you should learn from me for your own sake. It's that no matter how much you think you're unlikable or unforgivable, there's someone out there that will prove you wrong. Maybe not even someone you'd expect. And you have to let them like you. You can't make them or it'll always be fake. That feeling when someone just likes you on their own terms and you like them back on your own terms is... something really special. I know it sounds... kinda lame and gay, but that's what makes l-love feel good. ...So when you see someone you don't want to live without, don't try to make them leave their life behind to become a part of yours. Ask them if you can be a part of their life.”

She then gestured at Yumiko. “Ask HER if you can go to the life sphere with her and live with her. Enroll in classes with her. Talk to her about these feelings that are hurting you. Ask her to help you work through them. Maybe she's really cool and open to caring about you on a really deep level if you just give her a chance. I know it's possible because it happened to me. But don't do this... This is dumb and it's doomed to fail one way or another. Either we'll beat you or you'll just make her hate you and resist you to her dying breath.”

Roll-Roll threw her arms out at her side. “...You have to give her room to like you. It's the only chance you have...”

Masuyo, upon noticing that Ciel was no longer in her view and the smoke was getting worse for her, she started to cough as she moved away from the Basement, before turning towards the door that would take her outside. She wondered if she should go down into the basement and save Ciel, but she was starting to get dizzy because of the smoke inhalation, and so.

She made a difficult decision to get herself out of the house for her own safety and hoped that Ciel would come out soon after. She seemed as though she can handle herself, so Masuyo was sure that Ciel was going to be alright.

THE GUILT OF ALESSA

HP: DEFEATED

As for Ciel herself well, despite getting hit by the flames, she had managed to reach and hit Alessa's guilt, who didn't put up much for a fight and when she was hit by Ciel's saber, she quickly cracked like porcelain.

Before breaking to pieces in front of Ciel. When she did that, the flames behind Ciel began to open up and create a path leading to the stairs of the Basement, allowing her to use them to get back to the first floor of the house and escape through the front door so she can meet up with Masuyo.

However, it appeared that Ciel destroying the guilt of Alessa had managed to create an advantage somewhere else in Silent Hill.

As blood continued to sweep down on Alessa, her uniform darkened as she laughed at the group.

"Now that I'm in this form I can attack you all and---However, she quickly felt an electric surge hit her suddenly as she screamed out in pain, causing her to become disoriented in the air, and in her haste, she couldn't see Axl's elemental ice bullet or bound blaster fire towards her. While she managed to dodge most of his attacks, she was unable to dodge those two blasts and she was hit by them.

As if that wasn't enough for her, she was quickly hit by Fairy's leviathan spear twice followed by her grappling her thanks to her hydraulic rush, which managed to cause Alessa to get hit by the ice ring.

Finally causing her to fall onto the ground in front of the group, as they chastised her for what she was doing to Yumiko.

"She's down. Maybe we can finally talk some sense into her while she's not high in the air." Yumiko said to everyone as she began inching closer towards Alessa, who was sitting by her knees, as she thought about what the group were saying to her.

"Look Alessa, everyone here is right, you can be a very good person. Just don't seal people into this horrifying realm, and let us go back to our home at the Life Sphere, please, join us and let us all go." Yumiko pleaded to Alessa now that the fighting was on pause.

Alessa herself didn't say anything. She was thinking about what both Axl and Roll had said just now during their fight, having heard the both of them.

She thought about Axl's words first, about how the life sphere needs Yumiko more then Alessa needed her.

... Nah she needed Yumiko more then this Life Sphere.

However, Roll's words instead had managed to get to her, and, she didn't say anything, because she didn't have anything to counter Roll's argument compared to Axl's, because she was right.

She Doesn't Want to Fight Anymore

After a minute of silence, Alessa sighed, and began glowing, she started to revert back to the form that she was before she was covered in blood just now. "I, just wanted to friend, I never wanted to make the one that would be nice to me hate me."

"Alessa, I don't hate you, but you can't keep me in this town anymore. I have a life before coming here. I want to go back to it, and you can join me. The Life Sphere is full of people just like you, can gain a lot of friends there."

"That, sounds nice. When I was alive the first time, people in this town treated me like a monster, a witch, my mother was no different. She saw me as something else rather then a daughter and in the end, she was a result of my original death in trying to summon the god that we used to pray to all the time.

The only one that accepted me and liked me for who I was, other then you Yumiko, was a girl named Claudia. She was younger then me and we were both placed in a similar situation, so I often called her my little sister. I never saw Claudia when I died, I always wonder what she's doing now and if she received the happiness that we were both reaching.

I want friends. I want to leave this town once and for all." Alessa declared, looking up towards the group, as Yumiko walked over and leaned down towards her, smiling.

"Well, why don't we do it then, let's all leave Silent Hill, together?"

Alessa watched as Yumiko offered her hand towards as. She slowly stood up.

But, she didn't return the hand gesture. "That's a sweet offer, to go to this Life Sphere with you all. Unfortunately, while I do wish to leave this town, it's sins prevent me, if I want to leave. I must cleanse what I have done first." Alessa said, as Yumiko moved her hand away from her.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, although, I have to do this alone, in which case, I shall grant your request Yumiko. To allow you and your friends to leave this town and head back to where you came, in the end. If you're happy, then I'll be happy, even if it means allowing you and the group that came to rescue you to leave this town."

"But Alessa, you don't have to do this alone, let us help try and---Yumiko, everyone!?" Just then the group quickly turned to someone running towards the group. She was almost out of breath, but the group would quickly recognise who she was.

It was Masuyo, when she left the burning house. She saw Alessa falling towards the ground thanks to Fairy's grapple, and so followed it in the hopes that it would lead her to Yumiko and co.

Yumiko and Alessa looked uncomfortable when Masuyo appeared. She was confused at first, but it didn't matter, what mattered was saving Ciel.

And it appears as though Alessa wasn't hurting anyone anymore, so that was a relief to her. It would make this rescue more easy.

"Listen, you all know Ciel right!?"

"Ciel, wait, someone else is here with you guys?" Yumiko turned towards Roll, Fairy and Axl. She thought they were the only three that came through the portal.

"No, there's a fourth member of this group. We separated earlier today and we went to this house and everything. It caught on fire and I managed to make it out, however that girl is still in there and so I left to find help, even if it meant dealing with creepy monsters that roamed this town." Masuyo quickly explained, with Alessa gasping.

"Yes, she's right, there is someone else that came in through the portal, her name is Ciel, and I was the reason she's not here now. Don't worry, I'll start my redemption by saving Ciel." In an instant, Alessa clicked her fingers, transporting everyone towards the burning house that Ciel and Masuyo were in.

Which was almost covered in flames as Yumiko and Masuyo gasped, Alessa touched her forehead at this. "I knew it, when I felt that electrical surge just now it must of been either you." Alessa turned over towards Masuyo.

"Or that Ciel girl destroying my guilt, which is another half of me." As Alessa said this, Yumiko quickly lit up her hands to try and put out the fire.

"Either way, we have to get her out of there before it's too late." Yumiko said, with Alessa slowly turning her way towards Yumiko.

"Right, I'll help too." The girls prepared to put out the fire of Alessa's old home. However they began to wonder if Ciel was going to able to get out by herself.

...She did it. Roll-Roll knew she'd done something... good, even if all she felt was an aching in her heart. That wasn't all she felt in her heart though. After a few moments, her other half started speaking to her, commenting on what she'd done. Was this her heart... healing? That much at least, felt nice. She stayed quiet for the most part and focused on her own internal dialogue, knowing that she wasn't particularly good at being nice and not wanting her luck to run out if she kept blabbing, only ever speaking up when Alessa remarked she had to cleanse her sins on her own.

“...Well, if you really don't want our help, we'll be waiting for you there. I live at Doctor Ciel's public library...” Roll-Roll softly replied.

Soon enough though, the question of rescuing Doctor Ciel came up, lest they find they no longer have a home--or rather inherited the library, a troubling prospect since none of them were ambitious librarians. And worse yet, when they found the house it was already up in flames! Now, Roll-Roll had been consumed by fire many times during her training. Frankly the whole burning Light's Lab thing had gotten old after a few nightmarish visions. But never during any of them had she ever willingly run into a burning house. The thought made her anxious... Regardless, she grit her teeth and suppressed the boiling anger such memories dredged up to maintain control over herself, rushing in and doing her best to fight the flames. Which was ... probably not that great? She only had so much water inside of her to spray around, after all.

Ciel watched with a troubled expression on her face as Alessa's guilt cracked and crumbled in ways a body ought not to, a tad disquieted by what she'd witnessed. However, the fire question had become quite pressing and the appearance of a path out of this place, while questionably supernatural in origins, was a welcome sight. She needed to get out of here before she suffocated.

She then promptly collapsed onto her knees and bottom, coughing vigorously into her arm.

Axl would help out with this as well but considering that he didn't have a water elemental bullet on hand(he'd need to either get the splash ray or have the ability to DNA Change into Splash Warfly, both of which he doesn't have access to yet), he would promptly keep an eye out when Ciel got out of the burning building.

And once Ciel did get out of the burning building, Axl would have a sigh of relief...  But that didn't mean that the mission was over by a long shot.

"Alessa, I was wondering...  Did you really make this odd domain, or did someone else who wasn't Yumiko convince you to make it?" Axl asked politely, keeping himself from being too intimidating.  Though his increasing paranoia would make anyone think that he was aware of something.  Just like Sigma pulling the strings behind the Red Alert incident, Axl was inclined to believe that someone else was pulling the strings behind this scenario and that he wasn't implicating Alessa.

Leviathan glanced back to Roll as she gave her speech... Huh, she was a bit impressed with the kid putting all that out there like that. She didn't let her guard down though. Prepared to strike if the others made any movement to keep fighting... However after a moment the struggle in her seemed to die down and Leviathan lowered her weapon. She smiles a bit, perhaps more genuinely than normal before someone else appeared... That was the lady from earlier that Ciel went to.

... Great, she was in there? Nearby but no good for a human. Fire and smoke are a deadly combination... And although she had water power she was not really good with heat. "... I am not one for hot situations but I can try to create enough water to douse it," Leviathan stepped forward and spun her spear around before pointing it forward. Suddenly a massive amount of water appeared, enough to easily flood an area, as it dropped down in a torrent upon the flames as she used her All-Consuming Depths technique to water down the house. She walked over as Ciel emerged and offered her a hand. "Situation's covered. Nice to see you made it okay. Was a close one from the looks," Leviathan spoke.

[Sunnivale]

With the group's efforts in saving Ciel paying off, the girl was now out of the burning house, which collapsed during a mixture of everyone's power. Although it was alright since nobody was in the building now and it was just ruins now as Yumiko, Masuyo and Alessa watched it collapse from the ground.

Alessa turned to Axl, who asked if Alessa created this version of Siltent Hill. But before she could answer that, Yumiko sighed and approached the two. "No, I was the one that really created it. This place, was supposedly based on my old life before I came to Li, although there was a few oddities in the process." Yumiko explained as she looked over back at Silent Hill.

Which was now covered entirely in fog to the point that the group were unable to see it anymore.

"I just, poked around in Yumiko's head and created her dream world." Alessa explained, revealing that she was still apart of creating this version of Silent Hill regardless.

"Yeah, except for one thing." Yumiko then proceeded to point towards Masuyo.

(Umineko OST - Eternity)

"I don't have a mother, mines, died before I was born. And also, my friends from Jusho High weren't there." Yumiko turned over towards the spot where Midwich/Jusho was, which she was unable to see from the hill that the group were not standing on.

"Nobody was there when I went to it. Kyoko, Hiroyuki, Kenichi, Akemi. They were my friends back at my old life, but they weren't created here. I think it was for the best, that would also explain why we ran into that vampire girl earlier. I, had a dangerous encounter with her in the past, although she wasn't a vampire, she just had powers similar to me." Yumiko didn't want to be faced with clones of people that she once knew, particularly Kenichi, Kyoko and Hiroyuki, who are dead.

But Akemi, Yumiko was sure that she would see him again one day, while Masuyo looked at herself.

"So, am I really, just a figment that was created here, so Yumiko could have a mother?" Masuyo sighed, realising that she didn't have a life before reaching Silent Hill.

"I'm afraid so. I didn't know back then that Yumiko's mother had passed away, so I created one from scratch. You, were basically born here." Alessa then approached Masuyo.

"But, I'm not going to get rid of you like everyone else in this town. If you want, you can stay and be here for support whenever I finished cleansing a sin for a day."

"Really, In that case, I will!" Masuyo accepted, as she and Alessa held hands while Yumiko smiled, the two then turned towards everyone else in the group.

"Thank you, even if I did trap you here. Well it's time to make due on my promise to bring you all back to this Li place that you all came in from." To which Alessa moved her hand upwards, which created a fog like portal behind the group. Yumiko turned to see what was in the portal.

It was back to Neo Arcadia, as Yumiko approached it, she turned back to see Alessa and Masuyo wave to the group goodbye. "Goodbye you two, let's hope that we meet again one day!" Yumiko would say as she went through the portal, and found herself back at Neo Arcadia like before she entered that fog.

Speaking of the large fog in the center of the city, once everyone in the group had came out through the portal, the giant fog would slowly begin to fade into the sky.

Until finally it was gone, with Silent Hill, Alessa and Masuyo having left the area. "Wherever they are now, they're happy. I'm sure of it." Yumiko guessed, before looking back at everyone in the group.

"Thanks again for rescuing me. I thought I would never be able to leave Silent Hill!" She said before looking back at the spot where the large fog was.

"Hmm, I hope, one day, the two of us can reach our goals and be happy once more." Yumiko thought regarding herself and Alessa.

"Anyway, let's get going everyone. I can't wait to get back to the Life Sphere." Yumiko smiled as she began to make her way back from the Life Sphere, after not being there for awhile.

Meanwhile, with Alessa.

Her and Masuyo found herself by a large tree that was growing with life. There was flowers, rabbits and deer slowly approaching it as the mother and daughter pair sat by the tree, admiring the new life that Alessa was creating with her powers. Now that she was no longer using them to control an abandoned town.

But, as the two admired the new place that Alessa had created in an unknown plane, she, shuddered for a minute, which Masuyo had noticed. "Huh, was something troubling you just now Alessa?" She asked, but Alessa quickly smiled and looked over to Masuyo.

"N-No, nothing like that, I was just, thinking about Yumiko just now." She said, looking slightly sad.

"I, sense something, bad regarding her. Like she's about to face a very personal challenge that she has to be prepared for. I hope, like back in Silent Hill, that she can prepare herself for what's to come.

I know she can, it will happen. When she finds an island somewhere on that planet that she and everyone else are on, and there's going to be a terrible girl, around her age, that wants her dead.

Shirasagi, I know you won't be able to hear this, but, be prepared for the future. It's going to be a tough one compared to mine." Alessa and Masuyo, then looked at the growing field in front of them, in silence.

And in worry for Yumiko.

"well... All's well that ends well, Why don't we all go back to the Life Sphere and clean ourselves up, Starvia corrupted air is definitely not a good thing for the body." Axl would say, gently rubbing his nose with his pointer finger.

"I just hope that X and Zero are alright, I haven't seen them in a while when I got to this rock..." Axl added, his mind wandering as he lead the group back to the Life Sphere.
