By the time the team had arrived at their destination, the stadium got enveloped in a dome of grey clouds and roaring thunder. It looked pretty heavy at first glance, was it even safe to go through it...? Well, should one be brave enough to pass through the dome, they would find that on the inside...it wasn't terrible? Sure, there were still harsh winds, lightning bolts and rain, but it wasn't as bad as it initially seemed. Was this perhaps the 'eye' of the storm? Who knew?

Once gathered together inside the storm dome, the group that gathered to subdue the dragon needed to advance to the arena, where the dragon's roars echoed. Appraoching the arena, they would find the gates shut, however, they weren't locked. One could hear the faint sound of wings flapping, before a harsh thump. The dragon had landed onto solid ground.

They had to make sure to be prepped before facing off against that beast. If it had conjured up that storm, what else could it have up their scales...?

Mission Start!

Braving the storm that was at the stadium Fidela moved ever onward as she stopped to look at her teammates. It seemed they were a team of young girls, she could work with this but she hoped it wouldn't be too hard to take down this mighty beast. Then again it was a dragon after all so it may be a bit difficult so as she approached the closed gate she could hear a loud thump as if the dragon itself was waiting on the other side to ambush them. "Okay team we should be careful this dragon could be very dangerous. I will keep you all alive the best I can though." she said with a confident look on her face. "Just leave it to me!" she said with a smile.

“--I bet it's cute as a garchomp!!” Iris blurts out rather suddenly, clearly rather excited to meet--er--defeat this dragon. What's that? Iris? What Iris? She's gone. Did you mean to refer to that pink blur sprinting toward the arena? It didn't seem like she had any interest in waiting around and planning, to say the least.

The small girl Iris left in the dust is kinda eyeing Fidela, trying to determine why her skin is as green as her own hair? She deigns not to ask though. That would be rude! She seems content to follow along at her own, much slower pace.

Amithree... flew directly into the storm, her eyes changing from green to blue as her wings went from their normal abstract light to bright green and flowing with electricity. Being this close made her feel that headache again. That fierce beating in her chest... That power she felt dwelling within her, threatening to burst forth. "... Lidelle?" She paused looking at the others... nah, that wasn't her. That was Rider... she had to be even more focused now as she went to land inside the Stadium. She did not have time and could not risk consulting the others... No she had a mission... stop this rampage again.

"...." Amithree held out a hand in silence, summoning her  legendary Storm Spear in her hand before staring down the dragon with her fierce blue eyes. The armor hasn't formed yet but it was the dragon inside her in control right now.

As the doors swing open and the group step foot in the arena, the dragon is seen glaring at them, one by one, a growl reverberating through their mouth. They stop at Amithree, who they keep staring at for a good while, as if to study her specifically.

After what seemed to be an eternity staring at the blonde, the dragon suddenly scowls and roars at everyone, before spreading their wings and taking to the skies, roaring once more. The rain and the harsh winds suddenly pick up...

((Everyone! From this point onward, you are Soaked for the remainder of the thread due to the intense rain brought by the Storm Dragon!))

Suddenly, lighting bolts crash down onto the arena, leaving a couple of sizeable craters on the ground. Oh boy.

((Everyone! Once every 3 turns, a random lightning bolt will crash down onto the arena. I will roll a target via dice. After that, the character that's been targeted has to dodge it! The lightning bolts all have a flat DC of 15 and deal 20 damage. This will start next turn.))

Straight after the whole light show, one could see the dragon was charging up some sort of attack in their mouth...before they suddenly try to blast everyone with an electric breath!

((Everyone! Roll 16+ CON to escape the Storm Dragon's Gale Force Breath. You can alternatively try to dodge, but this comes with a -3 penalty. Deals 22 damage, inflicts Stun and has a 50% chance to inflict Paralysis.))

The dragon lands on the ground, their eyes fixated on the group of small humanoids. They hang back, apparently trying to observe all of them...

As they approach the dragon Fidela immediately notices that the dragon took to the skies once again to summon a rainstorm which immediately got her clothes and self wet from the rain. "That is not as planned but I can work with this." she said with a positive tone of voice before the dragon would try to gale breath the party. She would aim to try to withstand the high wind pressure.

Fidela withstood the Gale breath and stood firm.

"Okay everyone to me. I shall grant you the blessing of the gods." Suddenly an aura of light surrounded Fidela as she prayed to the heavens. That same light covered her nearby allies as well giving them her Shield of Hope ability!

(A sudden aura of light surrounds Fidela as she then envelopes herself and any nearby allies with that same aura of light. This aura adds a temporary energy shield to all allies including herself that reduces damage of incoming attacks by 10% for 3 turns. This additional shield is always used first before any bubble shield usage. Cooldown is 3 turns.[CON])

"I shall now sing the melody that will lead us to our victory." she then started singing a song that became rainbow colored musical notes that covered the field. This melody granting all of her allies and herself the Blessed Melody ability!

(A holy song that surrounds the entire area with musical notes of many different colors of the rainbow. All allies including herself get an increase of a +2 modifier to the favored stat of their choice for 2 turns. Each turn is the same Stat modifier chosen from before, they cannot be changed with every turn. Cooldown 3 turns. [CON])

"Now dragon feel the sting of the holy powers of the gods!" she summons forth a bow of light and begins to fire arrows from it at the dragon!

As the harsh winds battered her small body and the rain bound her dress to her skin, soaking her and weighing down her hair, Iris seemed unfettered from her mission. She thrust her chest out proudly and stood as tall as a little girl could in the face of the storm. That wild, uncontained smile on her face full of energy and desire left no room for fear. You might even call it feral looking, the way she toothily grinned and bore her fingers like claws. “Hehehehe, I knew it! You're so cute!! After this day is done, you'll be mine!! Count on it, because I'll be fighting with all the ferocity of a dragon! Rawr!!” Iris called out, mock roaring back at the dragon. Given a moment, a small purple dragon even smaller than the small girl dropped down onto the battlefield, resisting the winds!

“Sounds like I've got work to do~”

“Go get 'im Spyro!!” Iris cheered

Spyro then made a run for the Storm Dragon, picking up speed rapidly until he was in a full blown supercharge, lowering his head and priming his horns for impact!

“No... It's just me, Rider... Sorry, Miss Amithree.” Rider softly replied in an apologetic tone, before joining the others.

As she stood before the Storm Dragon in the arena, Rider's legs quivered with anxiety. She really picked a bad day to hang out with Iris, honestly. This really wasn't her idea of a fun time and--

“A--Aaaa!!”

Suddenly assaulted by lightning hot breath, Rider cringes and cowers as it ... washes over her, failing to move her even an inch. In defiance of basically any reasonable person's expectations, she just kind of... took it effortlessly?

Or rather, she absorbed the blast's energy into herself defensively. A moment later, she stepped forward and shouted back at the Storm Dragon with supernatural force, leering out at it through teary eyes.

...A deadly coldness falls over the arena, centered around the Storm Dragon, as Rider completely forgot about controlling her powers for a good moment. She does however remember to focus it again before it starts hurting her allies, though. In truth, she was absorbing the Storm Dragon's very life energy just by being in its proximity.

"..... No, she is mine," Amithree remarked with a dual tone as she looked to Iris. Her draconic spirit was flaring a bit as she summoned her Storm Spear and the armor of Lidelle's Magic materialized around her body into a draconic shape but still translucent enough to make her out through the green armor as green sparks of lightning surged around her. She gave a brief glance back to Rider before deciding to just let her live on with that assumption the Goddess was in control right now.

Amithree's draconic wings of magic came in front of her and shielded her from the lightning breath. "It's no use, your power is already ours!" she declared before dashing forward to begin swiping at the Storm Dragon with her Storm Spear, attempting to get some solid blows in with her swings before she took a hop back in time to her original position before she began attacking.

Seeing she barely made a dent in the dragon she decided to try a bit harder. She summoned swirling winds around her storm spear to empower it. Then she tossed the spear with a solid throw towards the feral beast's face with high piercing power, cutting through the winds and the rain to make it's way to it's target.

However she was not done yet. The dragon possessed girl let out a "Gao!" as she summoned another Storm Spear. In the next moment she had a swift burst of speed right towards the Storm Dragon. She made to perform a rising strike with her weapon to knock the Storm Dragon's head up but she was not finished as she made it to the air she coated herself in lightning before in a burst of speed plummeted to plunge her storm spear directly into the Storm Dragon's head for a high power wound. She then rewound time for herself, seeming to blink past to her original place and summon another Storm Spear and give the dragon a stare.

The Storm Dragon lazily swerved their head to avoid Fidela's arrows, as if taunting the lady's lackluster aiming. Sure, one of them had hit, but it didn't hurt much.

This attitude would not last very long, as Spyro had rammed into them. The Storm Dragon stumbled as they were struck twice by the small purple dragon. Growling as if they felt insulted, the Storm Dragon noticed Spyro going for another ram...

...and promptly braced themself, taking the hit in stride. Taking advantage of the opening presented, the dragon descended one of their claws at the purple dragon, crushing them with incredible strength before dragging him through the arena grounds and throwing him to the wayside.

(Spyro! One of your attacks was countered by the Storm Dragon's Overpowering Bloodshed! While you have hit the Storm Dragon, it hits you in return! You receive 55 damage, and is also afflicted with a Mortal Wound that has a heal threshold of 30%.)

The dragon moved their way to the others before their attack was thrown back at them by the mysterious little girl, who was...reprimanding them...? In an odd moment, the dragon...did not react aggressively. They stared at Rider with a certain air of curiosity...like they saw something familiar...

...which was quickly undone when the Amithree nation attacked, blasting the dragon away and impailing them with a spear. Letting out a pained roar as the last attack registered, the beast snarled as it glared daggers onto the blonde that just attacked her.

Fueled by rage, the dragon roared and took to the skies, a harsh blue aura surrounding them...

(Everyone! Storm Dragon has entered an Overdrive State! Status effects have been dispelled. From this point onwards, the dragon has a passive x0.25 damage mitigation!)

The storm picks up, a lighting bolt crashing down on the arena as the rain intensified!

Its glare never leaving the target, the Storm Dragon flied towards Amithree, fully intending on paying back the pain she gave them tenfold. Once close enough, the dragon would attempt to grab the human by her neck!

(Amithree! Roll 16+ DEX to avoid being grabbed by the Storm Dragon. Fail, and you take 20 damage and the next action autohits. Bubble shielding will automatically result in a failure.)

"You're NOT HER. OUT OF MY SIGHT!" A voice suddenly cries out as the dragon attempted to shove Amithree in the arena walls, regardless if the other was still in their grasp or not. The voice was eerily similar to a little girl...almost familiar to couple of people, perhaps? Well, whatever the case was, the dragon would start dragging Amithree through the stadium walls, gracing her with a bunch of bricks crashing and grinding on her face.

(Amithree! If you managed to escape the dragon's grasp, Roll 16+ DEX to avoid being dragged into the stadium walls. Else, take 20 initial damage and roll CON until you get 16+. You will take 20 extra damage, and a stacking +1 bonus for the CON roll for each fail until you succeed.)

If Amithree had received the dragon's fury, the beast would then shoot a glare towards Fidela, throwing the armored girl towards the girl with the shield!

(Fidela! If Amithree failed to dodge the wall dragging, roll 16+ DEX to avoid having an angy blonde thrown at you for 50% damage.)

The dragon would suddenly move towards Fidela and strike at her with overwhelming power, trying to break a couple of the girl's bones in the process.

(Fidela! The dragon is trying to break your defenses! Roll 16+ DEX, else take 35% damage and have your CON disabled for the remainder of the thread!)

The dragon turned their eyes towards the fancily dressed human. They suddenly dash towards the Trainer, opening their mouth wide! ...Oh, ooooh, they were trying to snack on Iris.

(Iris! The dragon has chosen today's lunch! Roll 16+ DEX or else take 40% damage and get eaten by the Storm Dragon!)

Whether or not they succeeded in snacking on one of their attackers,the dragon turned to the small girl...and promptly flapped their wings, creating a wind current that pushed Rider away...as well as sending a couple of razor sharp wind projectiles on her way.

Amithree was unable to evade in time as she tried to jump away from the dragon's grab only to get held by the crushing grip. She tried to break free from the hold but it was too tight. Fortunately the magic armor prevented any major damage to her form... Well that is before she started being dragged along the stadium's walls. She winced at the impact and the magic armor was unable to fully keep up with it's regenerating as it flickered in and out at the head for a moment. After a good bit the armor managed to solidify itself and prevent further harm before the goddess dragon was chucked away.

Regardless of whether or not she hit Fidella the girl would begin to shakily get up with a fierce blue glare in her eyes. It seemed to shine with pure draconic rage. "I MAY NOT BE HER BUT SHE IS THE ONE THAT LET ME IN. AND NOW I DO WHAT SHE IS TOO AFRAID TO DO! ONLY ONE OF US MAY PREVAIL!" she calls back in a much louder and gruffer tone. Now it was dominantly a girl's voice that was not Amithree's. One slightly older than Lidelle. The girl jumped into the air with her wings unfolded before diving down to attempt and slam against the Storm Dragon's back.

She then used her magic green claws to... Just slash at the backside of the Storm Dragon in a rapid fashion. A very angry and rapid fashion as she just raked her surprisingly powerful claws into the beast's backside. "NOW RETURN TO YOUR SLEEP!" she added in her bout of fury. Fortunately her laser focus beatdown stopped her from noticing anyone else to punch.

Fidela noticed that her comrade was soon right in the way of hitting her by the dragon's talons which unexpectedly threw the girl into herself. She would try to dodge the girl being thrown at her.

A shocking white aura surrounded her as it lit up like electricity around her body. Her golden yellow eyes full of ferocity as she outstretched her hands toward the dragon. "Divine lightning purge the evil from this soul, Radiant Bolt!"

Spyro was thrown, violently, such that he collapsed and rolled over several times upon landing. The smaller dragon wasn't looking so well, and he now had a wound that was too grievous for him to recover from. “Harsh...” he breathlessly stammered out, getting back up only to collapse again. Maybe he should put a bit less weight on that leg. Theeere we go. As he got up though, he witnessed...

Iris' eyes widened and she tried to lunge out of the way, only to get chomped down on! Some teeth dug into her, clashing with her bones and leaving a nasty bite wound across her body, after which the now injured girl was swallowed whole! Iris was quickly overpowered by the muscles of Storm Dragon Lidelle's throat, sliding down into her belly where she had slightly more room to move about. “Ewww...” Iris girlishly lamented, moving to brush slime from her eyes, only to find she couldn't see anything anyway. Well... If she wasn't soaked before, she definitely was now! She does, however, with a considerable amount of effort to overcome her gross-out factor, summon a magical purple heart to light up her surroundings a bit. ...Huh. she was inside a dragon. “...Cool~” she absent-mindedly remarked, taking in the unfamiliar sights. And then her brain caught up with her. “--Wait, not cool!!” she blurted out in alarm as she remembered she'd just been reclassified as fuel. She then promptly squirmed and pushed about, not that she had any hope of overpowering Lidelle from within. I'm not even sure she has the strength to meaningfully make her struggles felt given Lidelle's current size and strength, let alone escape.

Back to Spyro though... “...Well, looks like backup just got toasted. Guess I better make this count.” Spyro remarked. He then began to perform a frenzied, serpentine dance, working himself up for a fight! It looked a little goofy coming from a dragon that small, but he had the spirit alright.

...Sparx then flew by, dropping a golden orb in front of Spyro, which he quickly ate to absorb its power.

Rider quivered with fear as she watched her friend and de facto guardian get eaten by the dragon in front of them. She suddenly felt alone, and very much upset. She looked like she was going to cry!

Thankfully though, her eyes are still clear enough for her to notice she's being attacked. Scrambling and rushing to get out of the way, she flew into a panic and screamed as she hugged her arms to her chest, fleeing the attacks! As she ran, images flashed through her mind. Memories she'd absorbed from Lidelle flooding through her head. ...Huh? She was... a-a princess? Peach was placing a diadem on her head and welcoming her to the family... Did that really happen..?

In the brief moment it took her brain to process that memory, she turned on Lidelle, scales creeping up her neck and across her cheeks as she tapped into a stolen power, her pupils narrowing and becoming more serpentine. A bestial strength welled up inside her, accompanied by rage. She choked on the anger, struggling to control herself. “No no no no...”

((Amalgamate; Dragon Lidelle! Rider incorporates the essence stolen from Lidelle into herself, mimicking her stats!))

((Burning Soul activated; Rider does more damage, but begins dying at an exponentially quicker rate each turn!))

...And the deadly cold falls over the battlefield, threatening everyone this time.
