The sound of Acid Rain was growing heavy, as the Team of Mayl, Roll.exe, X and Kairi had, been caught by the rain, Just as they made it inside of the opening to Neo Arcadia's Tower, The Burning rain coming in right behind them, as a note that would tell them, There was no turning back from what was ahead...






As they walked into the Enterance of Copy X's Throne Room, The Tall Barrier of Neo Arcadia, and a Whirring humm of electricity as a Barrier spun around the open skyroof to stop the Acid Rain from pouring in. And in the Center....

"Oh? They actually sent someone....Ciel's newest 'Hope for the world',  A new Hand-me-down Assistant and her supervisor, And...."

Zero narrowed his eyes upon seeing X, Turning around fully to face the group.

Zero would sigh, Shaking his head, before looking up into the Night Sky above, And, More Prominently, The Entirety of the Tower...

And with that, Zero charged up his Z-Buster, And slammed it into the ground, As Geysers of Light, Trademark of the Rekkoha Technique began to invade the battlefield!

Following this, Zero Dashed after X, And unleashed his Z-Saber for Two V-Shaped Slashes!

... Kairi breathed in and out with a bit of a heavy heart. No doubt this would be hard if they did have to fight. Both in terms of Zero being strong and... Kairi really did not want to fight someone close to Ciel but she had to do what she must to bring him back. She won't fail again! She looked to the throne room before... Zero.

... Hope for the world? Was he referring to her by that? She never considered herself so prestigious let alone thinking her Mom thought of her like that..... Did Zero really believe that?.. Still, everything he was saying after that made no sense to her. What was he talking about?... Could it really be just like Riku again... in that case...

Kairi cartwheeled away from the Rekkoha, drawing her Keyblade as she landed. "Zero, I don't believe this is you... No, I know it isn't. And if that's really the case, I shall not hold back in this fight. I'm sorry," she said before wings that reflected her memories formed from her body as she got prepared for a fight that won't be easy.

She then rushed forward, extending a hand to fire a golden ball of energy at Zero. Afterwards she would follow this up with a series of slashes in quick succesion, ending in a rising blow before she would back off.

X had been unusually somber during the journey to locate Zero, once again reflecting on the circumstances of this mission. His old friend has seemingly lost himself yet again thanks to the Maverick Virus, and once again, he had to confront him. He had found the resolve to fight him, but...how long must this go on? Was there really no other way to end this other than...

...no. There had to be another way. And he was going to find it, for the sake of not only the future, but for his own friend.

As they reached the throne room and met the rogue red Reploid, Zero began talking about the tower, and how...important it was. How his life's work was taken from him. Hearing him speak like that was an early sign of what was going on.

This wasn't Zero, absolutely...but this was no Maverick or Sigma Virus either.

"...whoever or whatever you are, I'm going to break Zero free from you!" X exclaimed, turning his arm into a Buster and pointing it at Zero. Before he could fire a shot, however, the other Reploid moved to the offensive.

X's deftly dodged the rain of light beams, and sidestepped out of the way of a saber slash...however the second slash managed to graze his shoulder. Gritting his teeth, X put his buster in front of Zero and opened fire.

Roll.exe ushered Mayl inside as soon as it had started raining. The Navi biting her lip as she watched the rain starting to burn and melt the ground outside. They'd managed to make it just in time... for better or for worse. And now they were stuck here. There was no going back. The two girls looking to each other as they turned around and saw both the strange throne room and...

"Z-zero!" Roll.exe had nearly rushed forward to try and get the red Reploid's attention. Only to be stopped by Mayl as he began to speak to them. What he was saying... it didn't sound quite like him. He'd always been kind of brash and straightforward about everything. But this... this was something else. There was a callous hatred in his voice.



It scared Roll.

The two of them were caught off guard by Zero suddenly deciding to attack them. Roll gritting her teeth as she felt one of the beams of light strike past her, scorching her side. It hurt like hell but she could handle it.

Burning away some of the cloth from her shirt and scorching the flesh beneath as the human girl stumbled away from the remaining beams. "Mayl!" Roll had totally turned away from the fight. The netnavi nearly charging back to make sure her Operator was fine. Only for Mayl to raise her hand to stop her. "I'm okay... Go back up the others...!" The human backed up a few more feet. Her hands reaching into her pocket as she grabbed ahold of her PET and a battle chip. The red head watching as her Navi's right hand turned into a small buster and began firing several small, pink blasts right at Zero. Aiming them to weave between her other allies attacks as she positioned herself in what she assumed would be a blind spot...

The navi stopped in place just in time for the Cannon data that Mayl had just sent to reach her. Her Buster transforming into a far larger looking cannon before unleashing a more focused blast of raw energy. The pink clad gal silently hoping that it would be enough to knock Zero further away from Mayl.
