A Starly would chirp outside of Dawn's Window, Carrying a Formal-looking Letter in its beak. The Letter was stamped with a Red Wax seal, The Seal in the shape of a large, beautiful Heart and Ribbon, a icon of the Magical Girl Society, Which was written in some pretty impressive penmanship on the front:

Breaking the seal and Opening the Letter, The Following letter was contained...


Dear Dawn

As i have learned more of you and the world from which you've come, ive discovered and learned that your journey as a pokemon trainer has not yet been completed, before you were thrust into the World of Li. As Champion of the Sinnoh Region, I feel that this is disheartening. All Trainers should have the opportunity to complete there journey, and while the Gym Leaders of Sinnoh may not be here...

The Champion is.

I wish to extend a formal invitation to the Sunshine Arena's Skyworld Area, Tomorrow evening, as Champion of Sinnoh, I wish to challenge you!

Despite the Skyworld Arena being true to the Skyworld Form, It seems that some form of Magic was surrounding the Arena, as the coloration and architecture of the Arena was now changed to resemble that of a Stained-glass Arena, The very floor colored in a beautiful spiral of colors, Many Opera-style balcony's with which to view the fight from like a Stadium Performance...

And in the Center, Stood the Fearless Champion of Sinnoh...



"...She may not be ready."  The Champion said to herself quietly, looking to her pokeballs along her belt. "...But she will need to prepare for the challenges ahead. And if i shall be the first true challenge...So be it." Cynthia would say, As she stood in the center of this Arena, awaiting Dawn...

“Oooh, cute letter!” Dawn admired from her ...'home'. It still felt alien to call this place home. It was empty. It had no Mom waiting there for her to coddle her and feed her. She had no idea how to take care of it. How was this home? ...Questions about Life Sphere logic aside, she began to read the letter,

Dawn looked up from the letter, a stunned expression on her face as she processed what she'd just read. A few moments later, a SCREAM of fright escaped her.

“Cynthia wants to battle me?!”

Dawn began pacing back and forth, hyperventilating and holding her head in frustration. (...What is the matter? I thought this was what every trainer wanted.) the voice in her head asked. “Y-Yeah, when they're ready! I can't battle Cynthia! She's going to kick my butt! All in some Grand Stadium! I'm going to lose! Arceus!!” Dawn cried out in a panic. (...It is useless to pray to a god that does not care.) the voice coldly rebuked. By now though, Dawn was just straight up crying, whimpering rather pathetically at the thought of being crushed on live TV. (...You would do better to pray to me.) the voice sternly corrected after a couple of long moments. At this, Dawn was drawn from her miniature anxiety attack, a thought occurring to her. “...Wait, that's right. I have you now! You can help me win! I bet you're super strong!” Dawn blurted out in a more hopeful tone, sniffling a little. (...No.) the voice rather simply replied.

“Wait, whut?”

(...It serves no purpose for me to show myself here. Or would you prefer I make your audience 'forget' the only way I know how?) the voice asked. “...Wait, you can make people forget things?” Dawn asked. (...No. But I can silence them so that the world 'forgets'.) Giratina replied. Dawn considered this for a moment. “...How're you going to do that?” she ever so innocently asked. (Death is a powerful motivator.) the voice replied. At this, Dawn grew uncomfortable and silent. (...No. No... I'd rather be a loser than a killer.) she anxiously mentally replied. (...Very well. Though there may come a day you wish to change your mind.) the voice replied. “Sounds awful! So... I guess that means I'm back to losing, then...” Dawn replied. (...I'll see what I can do. ...Now wipe your nose.) the voice replied.

“...Oh gosh. I need to get dressed. I need a dress... I can't go in this! I need something special to wear... Ugh... What's the point..? I don't even have any makeup! I'm going to look so unprepared!!” Dawn cried out, bursting into tears a second time. The voice in her head had gone silent.

Dawn emerges onto the arena of Sunshine Stadium in a special dress.

(...Does wearing all of this help you battle better?) a voice in her head asked. (I'm still not sure what that powder you put on your face actually did.) it added after a moment. (Hey! Hopefully, it makes it so that nobody notices I've been crying! Okay? And yes, for your information, it does! Feeling good is the first step to doing good.) Dawn haughtily mentally replied. (...Is that why you struggled so much with your gym battles? You weren't wearing this dress?) the voice asked. ( . . . You're making it really hard to keep my cool here!) Dawn sorely replied.

She crossed the stadium floor, looking down at the oddly beautiful arena laid out for them, until she was within talking distance with Cynthia. “H-Hey, so... I got your message.” Dawn softly greeted. “U-Um... Thanks? I don't know what to say. I mean, after everything we've been through...” she continued in embarrassment. (...Why don't you tell her how you really feel?) the voice asked. (She knows I suck. Okay?? She already knows. I'm sure she's not going to humiliate me in front of a crowd.) Dawn replied.

“I-I've only got three pokemon...” Dawn very softly admitted. Cynthia could tell she wasn't proud of this fact. She produced a pokeball. “But I think I'm ready!” Dawn replied, holding out her pokeball and sending out Piplup!

Making me feel under-dressed for the occasion, Dawn~" Cynthia would say, Quite clearly calling Dawn out on her attire, But more importantly calling herself out on the fact she was simply wearing her typical Black ensemble with no real additions to her accessories. But, Cynthia's smile was still quite strong. "But consider me honored you'd dress so nicely just to battle with me. I wish more trainers would show such courtesy to dress up for these things~" Cynthia would wistfully reply, Nodding.

"Three Pokemon? Very well. Three from me as well..." She would say, Adjusting three of her own pokeballs into easy-to-reach locations, Choosing the balls containing Riolu, Mismagius, And the third pokemon that Cynthia would send out...

"I hope you are prepared! As Sinnoh's champion, I Challenge you!"





Coming forth in a flash of light, Garchomp glared down at the dressed up and flaired out Piplup, Sneering its nose up at the silly costume, as the Garchomp would reel back, And with a full-force, Attempt to deliver a Bullet Punch Impact to Knock Piplup away!

And following that, Garchomps claws would glow with draconic energy, Charging Piplup down and Immediately attempting two consecutive slashes at piplup with her dragon claw!

Finishing that set of commands, Cynthia smiles and throws her hair back with a flick of her arm. She was Stylin'.

Dawn chuckled nervously at Cynthia's remarks. “How could I not? It's my champion debut...” Dawn half-heartedly replied in a mousy tone that suggested she was talking herself up to the task. “You know I can dress up for you any time, right? I am a decent coordinator, you know~!” Dawn replied, showing just a bit more confidence at that remark. She already had the ribbons to prove that. Meanwhile, though... (AAAAAAAAH H E L P M E)

Whack! Piplup cried out in shock as he was sent flying by the blow, lamely falling over as a pokemon 250% his level struck him in the face. In her old world, he would have been down for the count right then and there.

...This was not Dawn's old world.

With uncanny deftness, Piplup bounced back to his feet and seemed to sprint out of the way! In reality, his movements were being assisted by an outside force, giving him an erratic burst of speed and helping him to continue fighting. Dawn was briefly stunned by this, having never in her life witnessed Piplup move that way before. However, she already understood why and wasn't about to pass up the opportunity to continue. While still taking a hit, he was now competing more evenly with Garchomp.

"...Now, Piplup! Hit Garchomp hard with Hydro Pump! Then freeze her with ice beam!" Dawn commanded. Hydro Pump hit everything hard! It was the perfect move for all situations. ...Especially dragon type pokemon! Who definitely didn't resist water right? Anyways, Piplup responded by spraying a powerful jet of water up at Garchomp!

Followed by what looked almost like cyan lightning shooting from Piplup's mouth toward Garchomp, threatening to coat her in a layer of ice!

Dawn lowkey modeled a bit for the crowd. "Speaking of Pokemon Contests, I learned that trick there. When you combine water and ice attacks, you can create beautiful ice sculptures, or even snow~!"

As the Hydropump came flying toward Garchomp, the Ground Dragon would raise its arms up in a Cross Fashion to block the attack, as Garchomps Bubble shield quickly surrounded it, Tanking the massive hydro pump, Causing the monster to skid back as the bubble shield visibly cracked across its entire form from the attack, But not shattering quite yet, as Garchomp lowered its guard, But maintained eyes on Piplup!

"Hm hm~ Water Type against a ground type is a smart move Dawn! ..Though, you forgot that Dragon Type's Resist water. And Garchomp is more Dragon than ground~" Cynthia would praise her opponent with a slight critique, as the massive Ice Beam came flying for Garchomp, as the dragon would suddenly jump up and dive into the ground, Crashing under the stadium and digging through it!

zgoVo_Ldp_1d20+3=19 (Dig! Uses STR Instead of Dex as a Dodge Alternative. When used, deals 2x Damage of the opponents move back to them. 16 x 2=32% Will be dealt to Piplup if they dont dodge! 15% Recoil and 3 turn cool down.)

As Garchomp emerged from the Stadium arena, It would rise with its tail swinging up ward to Smack Piplup away, Flipping back and letting its claws glow a bright green, as it ran for Piplup with full anger, to Deliver a Dragon claw!

And then, Reeling its Fist back, It would unleash a puncturing strike in the form of a Bullet Punch!

And finally, to top off its Onslaught, the Rage-filled Dragon would reel its claw back to deliver a final Dragon Claw!

Finally ending the attack, Garchomp lept back, looking back to Cynthia...Cynthia noticed there was a Dark, Inky Aura surrounding Dawn and her Pokemon, Manipulating and helping them to properly avoid her...

"...Dawn, I believe you have the making of a great trainer." Cynthia would say, Putting her hand over her own heart. "You can do this. I believe in you!" Cynthia said, Looking to give Dawn plenty of hope!

She quickly pulled out a super potion and began spritzing it on Piplup, who picked himself back up after a moment. Listening to Cynthia's words though, she was filled with doubt. (...Why would you? You've seen me lose.) Dawn thought to herself. (...Why do you talk to people where they can't hear you instead of saying things aloud?) the voice in her head asked. (...It doesn't matter! I'm going to lose. But--) Dawn mentally retorted. “I won't give up! And neither will piplup! We're in this for the long haul, and when the going gets tough, we keep on trucking!” Dawn announced. “That reference is a waste considering we don't even own a trucker outfit between us, but I'm not giving up either!” Piplup chirped in pokespeak, striking a triumphant pose with Dawn.

Garchomp quickly began making a hard run across the ground, Avoiding the Ice beam by Piplup, as she stood tall and at attention, Suddenly raising up a Single Claw to unleash a Dragon's Claw Strike down onto the Small Piplup!

Following this, Garchomp suddenly spun around on his Draconic Claw's, Suddenly swinging its rough, Scaled Tail against Pilup, To Shred it up and send it away!

With that direct blow instilled, Cynthia would give a brief smile, Raising up her head to look at Dawn. "Excellent! Keep going Garchomp! Press on the attack!" Cynthia called, as Garchomp would raise its Dragons Claw for another Swing!

....But not nearly as strong as the last hit. Regardless, Cynthia would perform a brief flourish, Twirling on a Heel, Her Coat fanning out, and her hair moving along with the wind, as Cynthia smiled to Dawn. "You are making my heart Race, Dawn...Yes, The Feeling of a Pokemon Battle Like this...It makes my heart flutter in Joy." Cynthia would say, Striking an Appealing pose for her Appeal!

Piplup sharply cried out as he was sent flying backward, badly injured from the exchange of blows. “--Piplup!!” Dawn blurted out as Piplup bodily hit the ground and fell over. “...Come on, you can't go down after a speech like that! What happened to never giving up?” Dawn lamented. A moment later, Piplup forced himself up. He was having visible trouble standing, however. He held up his fins to guard his head as Garchomp came in for another swing! ...And then, something weird happened.

As Garchomp struck Piplup, they would feel as if they'd just struck a solid wall of nintendium, all of the strength leaving their claws without so much as budging the little pokemon.

Dawn blinked. She then did a light double take. (...I could swear that attack hit. Did you do that?) Dawn mentally asked the voice in her head. However, she received no response. Dawn hesitated for a moment before deciding she didn't have time to sit around hoping they would answer. “--Good job, Piplup! Hang in there and we'll make this battle something worth remembering!” Dawn called out. “I can't hear anything out of my right ear.” Piplup chirped in pokespeak, sort of stumbling forward a bit and smacking the side of his head in frustration with a flipper. “Let's put a little sweat under Garchomp's collar with Hydro Pump! Hit'em hard!” Dawn called out. Piplup sorta awkwardly maneuvered his head to listen to her with his good ear. “I think I've got at least one more of those in me. Let's make some waves!” Piplup announced, before spraying a jet of concentrated water at Garchomp again!

“Now let's rock the boat and turn the tides! Ice Beam!! Make a beautiful dragon sculpture!” Dawn announced. “Aye, captain!” Piplup replied, before firing off a baby blue bolt of icy energy at garchomp!

Piplup then took a deep breath and attempted to punish Garchomp with a blast of salty sea water, followed by a spray of bubbles once the sea water seemed to 'run out'!
