What was he doing here?

Grey resisted the urge to slap himself as he entered the mall, questioning why he decided to go on this mission. Sure, that girl needed protecting, but why did HE choose to go on this mission?! It even specifically said only girls aloud, yet here he was! Roll and Ciel had encouraged him, saying he should be able to fit in and socialize some if he used A-Trans, but this was... Embarrassing as hell.

The Reploid walked past the food courts as he muttered to himself on whether or not this was a good idea. He was just here to help protect her. Simple. Easy. He just didn't have to get caught in the act, and then the three girls WOULDN'T pummel him to a piece of scrap.

He hoped.

He'd been just about to leave the food court when he heard it. A girl's yell.

"That was a girl's voice in that restaurant! I better A-Trans in case it's that Flayne girl! A-Trans!"

With his shout, Grey vanished in a flash of light, and in his place...



Stood Roll Light. The might of A-Trans was remarkable indeed, as the only difference at a glance was the ribbon was a light gray in color instead of a green. The transformed Reploid promptly dashed into the restaurant, past the mascot Satan, past the cashier Draco, and in to the play palace.

"Pardon me!"

Even the voice was a perfect replica. She ran in just in time to watch Amithree go down the green slide, and rsushed over to do the same, not paying the rules a single mind. She was already breaking one, what were a few more?

"Look out below!"

And down she slid, right into the face of danger. Grey had already gone through his A-Trans data on Roll, he knew what she was capable of and how to handle this fight. So she assumed there would be one, anyway.

The two slides taken by Roll and Amithree would cause the two to swirl about in a squiggly mess of interchanging tubes and slides, Seeming to go down...Increeeedibly long ways down, deeper and deeper until the two would suddenly reach the end, bumping there butts among the padded ground and coming upon a rather roomy looking place...

It was a maze, Covered in plastic-polyester and padded walls inside and out, Dim lightbulbs surrounded by thick plastic casings and  vents, drilled into the wall with strong bolts pumping in air from the surface. The two were now trapped in what looked to be a Play Palace Maze...

"That's quite fine!" Minako replied to the Draco's comment on the fact that they only had fish bacon. After Flayn paid the order and went for the free trip at the 'Play Palace', Minako took to waiting for the order. She began fetching her old music player and was just about to blast her ears with some sweet tunes...

...and then Flayn's scream echoed from the Play Palace.

Amithree and...another girl that came outta nowhere quickly went inside the palace, and Minako was quick to follow. In the entrance, she looked at the rules. Strange, the rules prohibited obnoxiously strong and weak magic, but not any sharp weapons? She was glad that she was able to avoid getting inside unarmed, but that was...pretty weird. After a thorough second reading, Minako took off her shoes, followed by her socks, which was then followed by her neatly folding her socks and placing them near the shoes. "There we go! Hold on tight, Flayn-san!" she said to herself, before diving into the Play Palace...

After the slippery sliding, Minako landed on the maze, a bit later than the other two but not too late that they wouldn't go ahead without her. "Yikes...that was kind of a rough landing..." she commented with an awkward laugh. "Sorry I took a while, I just wanted to make sure they allowed naginatas in this place!" she apologized to Amithree. "Let's get going. Flayn-san might be in trouble." she said, before pondering over the options presented to them at the moment. "Hmm...what do you say we go right?"

Did she stop time? This seemed way too long to be falling... No, she still controls space when time is stopped so she would of hit the bottom by now. Probably not a time loop but why would the slide be so-with an oof Amithree landed on her bottom in... what looked rather eery for a place for childern to pass their time... Wait, wasn't there someone ahead of her?... Eh, they were probably fine, what was important right now was checking on Flayn. It seemed rather quiet in here too. If they fell for one of Satan's stupid traps...

She looked back for a moment to notice... Oh huh, a new girl followed them... Well, the more the merrier... or whatever in this odd place. It was too quiet for where a girl was screaming from... "Oh, hi," she greeted for a moment before Minako came down. "No problem, this thing does have some... odd rules..." Does... magic sense count as obnoxiously weak magic? Well, it wasn't really a magic for it's strength. "I am going to try and see if I can get a feel of where Flayn is. She has a... rather unique magical presence so it shouldn't be that hard unless something is blocking me. We can start with right," she comments, taking Minako's suggestions, they don't know how big this place is so it would be bad to get seperated. All the while she tried to see if she could feel the general direction of the... crest magic she felt earlier.

What was going on...? As Grey slid down the slide, she grew more nervous. This was taking way too long. Was it mechanical? Had it been diverted somehow? What was at the bottom? She didn't hear a yell at the bottom anymore, either from the person who was in trouble or the girl who went down here first. But then what was going on? The more Grey thought about it, the more confused and nervous she became, until eventually... THUMP.

"Oh... Hey, that was better than I was expecting..."

The A-Transed Reploid stood up, patting off her dress.

"Hey. Sorry for just showing up like that, but I heard a scream and decided to help. I'm Grey."

The others apparently wanted to go right... What kind of maze was this anyway? And where was the girl that was in trouble?

"Yeah, right sounds good. But uh... What rules are you talking about? I didn't really read it, so..."

Which in of itself raises the question if Reploid/Robot Master feet count as shoes or not...

Amithree's magic sense was sensing across the entirety of this play place, And there was a distinct trail of Holy Magic trailing a path clean down the Right side of the fork in the road, As a clear detail as to where our Holy priestess was apparently heading. Quite the lucky guess, But there was a much more...Sinister problem. Behind them, the left path, Amithree could feel something ..Dark approach from the left. Distant, but, it was coming.

Turning  the corner, The group would come upon what looked to be a Massive Ball Pit, The padded floor ending into a straight drop into the Ball pit, with some standing platforms of the similar padded material as the ground they were on now. There was a ladder leading to the platform they were on now, However, The hallway on the opposite side, one would see that there was no ladder on the other side. There was only one option...Hop the Pit on the platforms!

(Dex Check of 10 to cross the platfroms, or fail and need to try again next turn! However, the longer you take...Something is approaching.)

"Well, I can't blame you for looking to help... I'm Amitie, by the way," Amithree said as she turned the corner. "There were a bunch of weird rules at the entrance, not really sure on how much they matter but-..." Amithree began until she noticed something. "Yeah, she is definitely down this way somewhere, I can feel it! Let's hurry and see if she's-..." Amithree said before looking back past the others... Oh that was not a very good feeling.

"I think danger is coming from the other direction... Let's hurry and get to Flayn!" Amithree said, hurrying into a run as she came up to the pit. Well, she didn't have time to slow down and all it was going to take was a hop and a skip to the other side.

Amithree has had a lot of practice with running away from her problem for the past year. So this was not much of an obstacle as she jumped, seeming to float quickly for a second each time before landing. Able to make it she looked back to the others for a moment, ready to hurry forward but also checking on the presence and them making it.

Grey nodded at Amitie's affirmation that Flayne was down the path they were going. It was a good name, she'd have to remember it. As they went down the corridor... She felt the usual tension of danger approaching, as they came upon platforms.

"Running from something dangerous while hopping over platforms... Feels like home, honestly."

Unfamiliar with platforming as Roll, Grey made the first couple platforms... Before slipping on the third, and falling down into the ball pit.

"W-Woah woah woah!"

She momentarily made a show of trying to stay on, flailing her arms and trying to grab the edge, before she fell into the abyss of balls that awaited below with an 'oof'. That is unfortunate. Well, only one thing for it, work her way back to the start. Roll couldn't wall jump, after all.1d20+1

"Hmm, I see! Nice to meet you, Grey-san!" Minako said, nodding. 'Grey' was kind of an...odd name for a girl, but then again, today she discovered that someone had the gall to straight up name their kid 'Satan', so that wasn't half as weird. "...Right, lead the way, Amitie-san." Minako spoke up, following the other blonde to...a gigantic ball pit obstacle course!

The redhead looked at the platforms that lead to the next part of the maze, and prepared to move out. The mention of a weird dark presence instilled a familiar fear in her that she hasn't experienced since Tartarus (the Reaper was freaky, okay?!), and...well, she had to get moving quickly, otherwise something bad would happen.

Minako, with a determined glint in her eyes, jumped from platform to platform with zero hesitation and at almost inhuman speeds, that people would be forgiven if they thought she was using some sort of power to aid her platforming escapades.

Upon reaching the end, Minako noticed Amitie, and...where was Grey? --Oh, she fell down in the ball pit! She was so focused on getting to the end that she didn't even notice! Grabbing her naginata by an area near the blade, she directed the metal pole towards the ball pit. "Grey-san! Grab on!'" she offered the little girl.

As Amithree and Minako pretty easily made the jump's on these Kiddo-sized platforms, Grey, However, Would slip on that third platform, suddenly turning around and  getting a good look at what was on the opposite end  of the Platforming Ball-pit, Down the Hall was...The Approaching Force, coming there way.

That is NOT Ballpit friendly! The Floating demon, whatever it was, Was approaching the three girls at an alarmingly fast rate, as it was now making a Bee-line toward Grey!

(Grey! Roll a STR Check of 6 to grab onto Minako's Spear and get yourself out of there! you can attempt this roll 3 times.)

The Demon's otherworldly energy's surrounded it, as further down the hall, The group would see the next obstacle needed to be cleared. It was a Hallway, Covered in swinging, Guillotine-like Bean-bag chairs, that threatened to knock those who traversed its hall clean over!...Though it didnt look like they'd hurt, more just slap you aside to fall onto the padded room's walls.

(Everyone! To surpass the Hall of Swinging Cushions, Roll a DEX Check of 10 to avoid the swinging bags! If not, The Floating Demon will attack!)

As Grey fell, her gaze shot behind them, and she wasn't sure she believed what she saw. What... The HELL was that?! Whatever it was, it didn't make any SENSE. Grey forced herself to jump through the ball pit towards Minako's Naginata, and attempted to grab on... But her grip slipped at first, before she was able to get a good hold and start climbing. That wasn't good. This was going really, really poorly, really really fast. And all she could do was keep running.

And of course, the next obstacle wouldn't let that be so simple. She had to dodge what we were essentially guillotines. Greeeeat.

"We've... We've gotta go! Now!"

With that, Grey elected to start running. Who knows what would happen if that thing caught them.

BAM. That didn't go according to plan. She made it past the first one, but completely screwed up the timing on the second one as it promptly smacked her right into the wall. "GAH!" C'mon Grey, get it together! She tried to stand up and get running again, but as we all know... That's not how this one is gonna play out.1d20+3·1d20+3·1d20+1

"Grey!" She called out, looking back at her as she fell. Maybe if she used her space manipulation she can pull her back up. Fortunately Minako was already on the case before she could consider anything and how likely it was to backfire. Looking further back to the presence that was following them she saw... "What the heck is that?" Some kind of demon? She never has felt a presence quite like this. Every part of her divine presence was telling her to get out of there now. "Y-yeah, let's hurry and find Flayn and get out of here!" Amithree nodded as Grey made it back up.

As they went back to running though there was another obstacle... even more out there than the last.  "Who designed this bizarre playplace?!" the goddess complained as she kept trying to gain their ground on the monstrosity. Speaking of which, why the heck was a monster like that in a place for kids like this?!

Amitie managed to slide past a few, seeming to react well when they were close to her... well until she heard Grey's cry. She looked back and clutched her head as her focus was disrupted. Dang her sensitivity to auras. "Oof!" she cried as she got hit in her moment of stun, hitting the ground.

Minako looked on as the dark presence inside the maze revealed itself...why was a monster here in this children's park?! That shock lasted for only a couple of seconds, as she noticed Grey climbing up on her naginata. Once she was free from the ball park, Minako spared one final look at the creature. "Right, let's get going!" she said before moving out, following the two.

The girl trio would then arrive at the second part of the obstacle course, which was filled to the brim with beanbags swinging back and forth, akin to guillotines. This place...it was super dangerous for kids. Minako watched as both of her allies went ahead, only to get  smacked around by the beanbags. With the demon lurking around the corner, she couldn't stay around for much longer.

...but then she couldn't just leave the others behind like that. Minako boldly went ahead and tried to grab both Amithree and Grey, but whether she was successful or not...

...she would begin moving through the moving beanbags with haste, moving through them with little to no effort. Once she was out of the that section, she would stop. If she didn't manage to grab the two girls, she would look over the obstacle course, thinking of a way to help the two out of that bind.

If she did manage to help them, though, she would settle both of them down once stopping and talk to them. "Sorry about this, I just couldn't leave you guys behind like that." she said. "You two okay?"

As Minako stopped to Carry Grey and Amitie, The Floating Demon had already managed to each them due to Minako's Helpeful Nature, As it raised its massive claws to Slam them down ontop of the three all together!

((Due to Minako's High roll for Carrying you guys, I will reduce the Dodge check for this attack to 5, When normally, It would be a 14. However, Your still gonna get attacked for failing them rolls. Nothin' Personnel.  Roll a 5 in dex to Dodge, Or take 22% Damage, With a 35% Chance of being afflicted with Sickness!)


With your intent to Run rather Clear, You managed to escape the rest of the Swinging bag portion with no problem! You can even see a Big, Plastic Orb revealing to you the outside world! and on the Outside, you can see...



...Flayn was sitting at a table, A Good Four Tray's of Fish-themed food brought out for her, as she looked around.

"I wonder where those three went! This food will get cold without them..."

...She escaped the Whole dang play place before them. Darn.



And worse yet, The Floating Demon was still after them! Skedaddle!

Ahead of them, They can see the Slides! Just one last sprint to freedom!

Amithree looked back in fear as she tried to recover herself... Dang, she was doing the thing where she froze up in the face of danger again. Dang it Amitie! It's been months since you last did that! However she noticed him getting... further away? Oh, Minako was helping her out of a bind! "N-no, don't worry about it. I appreciate the help... I'm fine but he's still coming so we should-ah!" she began before noticing him trying to attack them.

The goddess jumped out of the way before turning around to book it. "Her presence is getting stronger! We should be close! Hurry!" she called back as she ran forward as she saw... an exit! An exit with.... Flayn... Of course she made it out without them... She shook her head before she increased her speed, making a mad dash before sliding out of the play place.

"S-sorry for the wait... Flayn... We were having a bit too much fun..." Amithree said breathlessly... More out of reflex than actual exhaustion. She looked back as she walked over, trying to make sure if the others managed to escape with her or not... Or if the monster was still following them.
