Ringo successfully sidestepped the Slime’s assault, but alas, Luigi was sadly less successful.
“Let me out-a here!” Luigi bubbled, flailing around helplessly in the Slime’s gooey body. Why does this feel familiar somehow? This isn’t as fun as that birthday party was. In the yellow tinted outside world, he saw that Ringo was aiming… right at him.
“!” Without any more breath left to scream with, Luigi paddled desperately to get out of the way of her Sine.
Zee-splatter! The Slime boiled and, for lack of a better word, popped, freeing Luigi, who now lied in a sizzling and evaporating puddle of ooze.
“Thank-a you so much for-a to working on-a the pipe there…” A dazed Luigi smiled behind his frayed moustache. “…Also, for-a to saving me.” Before collapsing back down.
“Whadaya mean No?” The Fighter Fly sneered on the other side of the room. “Sotto Storia! Frisk!” Luigi got up with a start, remembering he had a precious smol to protect.

“What? What did I do wrong?” the fly pried down at the smol with newfound concern that he interpreted her coaching wrong. He stood their staring at her widdle face, anxious with anticipation…until…
“!” the Fighter Fly flinched at Frisk’s frenetic face. Oh, it’s just her tongue. That’s cute. That’s really cute. It was so cute in fact, the Fighter fly started laughing. “Heh…heh heh… Heh heh Hah… Heh heh Hah haha ha ha hah!” he began laughing uncontrollably as if it was the silliest and cutest thing he had ever seen.
“Haha that’z zurely the cutezt and zilliest thing I’ve ever zeen!” Yeah just like that.
As if this weren’t bad enough, Frisk began to prod him with a plastic knife. She might as well have stabbed him, for little did anyone know how insanely ticklish he was.
“Ha Ha Ha, Hee Hee Hee! Come on now, quit it, ztop tickling me!” The Fighter Fly keeled over and flailed on the floor, wide open for Luigi to jump on him. Before he did however, he combed his frayed moustache into neatness. Gotta look your best when besting baddies.
“Fine, you ‘fender, I zurrender, Ho Ho Ho! If you knock it off, I’ll let you go.”

*Fighter Fly has buzzed off and let you be.

“Ho ho ho-okidoki.” Luigi took him up on that offer, not wanting to fight anymore either. Instead of a fist, he offered a hand to help the Fighter Fly back up.
“Thankz there.” The Fighter Fly panted. “What businezz haz you three bussing around in here anyway?”

“These lovely ladies are repairing my plumbing, laddy.” The Old Man enlightened as he reemerged from the shadows behind Ringo.
“Whazza? Where did you come from?” Both the Fighter Fly and Luigi gasped.
“Why I’ve always been here.” The Old Man humbly slimed. “And I always will be~.”
“…Okay…Well any mite crawling with this little lady bug’s cool with me.” The Fighter Fly shrugged, winking at Frisk. “Az for me, I think I’ve zpent too long on break. I can already feel myzelf going flabby. Time for me to buss off and get back to my zetz.” He cracked his knuckles and climbed back into one of the pipes. “Zee ya!” He didn’t get very far inside the loose pipe before it fell off and rolled away with him between it.

Before Luigi could chase after the rolling link, a large floral skull emerged from the rest of the pipe and tried to take a bite out of Ringo.

"S-Sure thing..."

Ringo feels yucky, and now the slime is making everything all yucky. Yuck yuck yuck. At the very least, the Fighter Fly that was engaged with Frisk decided to leave without putting up a fight. Well, an actual fight, anyhow. And back to work she went, now that there wasn't any distractions at the moment. But just as the Fighter Fly tried to leave, the poor guy got caught up in the loose, runaway pipe.

"Uh-oh! I got- AAH!"

...followed up with a bony surprise from the actual pipe works. What the heck, there's more of these guys!? Ringo thankfully avoided the chomping, but out of reflex, she gave it a good zapping of Cosine to make it go away. The attack could only be described as an electrified slap in the face(?) instead of the usual hand gesture, though. She didn't even need to call out the name of the move, it just...did.

Clinkle, clankle clunk. The Bone Piranha Plant collapsed to the ground, sending the bones of it’s vertebrate rolling every which way across the room like beads off a broken necklace. How underwhelming. It would have had to try much harder to considered worthy of being a fighter.
“What was-a that-EEK?” Luigi had barely turned around to look when he jumped off the floor at the sight of vertebrate bones everywhere. Looking up at Ringo, well she was just back to plumbing. Something was special about this trainee, Luigi could feel it.
And something was special about this pipe. Ringo could feel that, for out of it came more bones. This time not of a Piranha Plant…but of a Honen? A little undead fish skeleton dropped on the deck and flubbed like a fish.

Frisk was quite a busy minded girl, as the Fighting Fly she was playing with would fly off in a glee, as Frisk smiled proudly of her Work for the powers of PACIFISM Today! Frisk was merrily about to return to her work in Unclogging pipes, when suddenly a skeletal fish flew out of the pipes, flopping about and making Frisk squeak in suprise. "Step on it." Chara would say, floating behind Frisk, as Frisk would stalwartly refuse, and instead grab her Plunger, Taking good hold of it and jumping upon the empty pipe once the Honen had left, and beginning to Plunge  with mighty force to get the bones out of there! Who knew if Papyrus was stuck down there!

As trivial as it is, Ringo barely avoided getting slapped in the face by a fish skeleton that's somehow animated. Well, it's not the first time she met actively moving skeletons. The first ones she met drank tea. Well, with it flopping around like an actual fish out of water...it's probably of no threat whatsoever. With a shrug and a cough, she turned to the pipes that was filled to the bone, uh, brim with these fishbones and tried to help clear up the clutter with the plunger.

"How did these guys get in here in the first place...? What's even going on in these pipeworks?"

With Frisk straight up ignoring the Honen and Ringo dodging it in the nick of time, the fish skeleton helplessly slammed itself against the tile floor, breaking itself apart.
“Is…Is it?...” Luigi asked, peeking out from between his fingers. Much to his relief, the undead fish was sleeping with the fishes. Much to his surprise however, something glowing rose out of its eye socket. It lit the room up with a magnificent cleansing glow.
“Eh? How did-a This get-a here?” Luigi pondered out loud as he collected it.

Taking advantage of the moon light, Luigi took the time to inspect Frisk and Ringo’s work.
“Well pipes like-a these were first invented to transport the water, liquid and-a the gasses from one place to another. Soon these-a creepy crawlies figured out they could-a be used to transport them-a-selves around too.” Luigi also took the time to answer Ringo’s question. “And we plumbers have had-a to tangle with-a them gumming up-a the plumbing ever since.”
“If that’s the case, why not simply install smaller pipes?” Noki asked the obvious question.
“Because we the plumbers realized it was a great-a way for us to get around too. The rest of-a the kingdom caught on, next-a thing that you know, everybody’s warping via the pipe.” Luigi shrugged sheepishly with a hint of self-awareness that he and his bro are partially to blame. “And over-the-night we plumbers graduated from-a waste allocators to engineers of-a infrastructure.” He turned his admission of fault into a brag.

“Say, you two make-a some mighty fine engineers of-a the infrastructure!” Luigi reported with a big thumbs up for his two apprentices. “The steam pipe she's all-a done! Screwed, unclogged and-a retightened too! When did-a that happen?” When you were cowering at an undead fish, that’s when.
“Splendid! Thank you so much for your help, girls! Does that mean you can leave me to reopen my bathhouse now?” The Noki asked Luigi eagerly. “Not you of course, you’re welcome to be my first customer!” He turned to smile at Ringo.
“Not-a yet. First we gotta test to see if it-a works. Stand-a back, it’s-a gonna get hot in-a here!” He instructed the three to get back against the wall.

“A One, a two and-a three!” He activated the steaming system… Only for nothing to happen. The room was still, save for another moan from deep within the bowels of the bath house. A moan that sent Luigi to join Frisk up against the wall.
“…Oh dear. Such a shame to have all their hard work undone in an instant.” The owner shook his head in disappointment at Luigi.
“No you don’t-a understand, it should all-a be working just-a fine.” Luigi climbed out of Frisk’s arms to vouch for her. “There must-a be a clog elsewhere in-a this facility. Where else does-a the water go?”
“Well the most of our waters go where they are needed most: The main bath tubs, after which our fine facility is named.”
“Then that’s-a where I'm-a suspect you can expect we’ll-a be inspecting next.” Luigi decided, totally botching the tongue twister.
“Right this way then.” The owner guided Ringo to the main room while Luigi followed, taking Frisk by the hand... More for his sake than for hers.

“Excuse me sir, but I’m afraid this is as far as you go.” The Noki stopped Luigi. “This is the Ladies side of the bathing facility. Might I suggest the Men’s side? It’s that way.”
“Oh…Oh.” Luigi choked with embarrassment. “In-a that case, Frisk should come with-a you too.”
“Huh? But-Oh very well.” The Noki relented reluctantly. “Come along, little one.”
“I’m-a see what I can-a do on this side. I’m-a believe you can-a handle the ladies’ room.” He gave two more thumbs up, shyly backing under the Men’s sign.
“…Finally. Now then, ladies, welcome to the House Bath.” The owner introduced as he guided Ringo through the abandoned locker rooms, allowing Frisk to tag along. “Here is where the magic happens. Women, sore and tired, would come from all corners of the ‘Sphere to strip their troubles away, and immerse themselves in our boiling waters.” The Changing room doors creaked as is they swung back and forth, as if his echoing voice blew them like wind. “Together they would cleanse their forms of all ailments, purifying and leaving them moist and glistening and-well I hear it is quite relaxing.” The old Noki cut himself off in an embarrassed sweat.

Once they had emerged through the open doors, the room looked nothing like his description.

“Well… it used to be.”

There were four tubs of increasing size and depth beside each other, creating a circular shape divided into four by bridges. These tubs shared a water source, a fountain that was meant to spout water to fill each of them. This fountain was dry and the pools were filled with sticky goop.

“Mama Mia! Where’s-a Mario when you need him?” Luigi’s voice complained from nearby. It was Luigi.
“What are you doing here? I thought I told you to go to the Men Only section!” The owner scolded.
“I'm-a Am in the Men Only section.” Luigi shrugged innocently. His side of the room was mirrored, with the same four tubs, and an equally dry fountain. As it turned out, the foldable divider between the two sections was folded with a dent and partially sunk in a puddle of goop.

Luigi covered his eyes non-the less. Not because he was looking into the Ladies Only side, but because instead of the beautiful women the old Noki described, the pools were inhabited by a party of Chuchus.
All this noise alerted them that someone was there, and they emerged from their goopy soak to investigate.
One of our heroes, Frisk, caught one of their eyes. She either was the cutest little thing it had ever seen, or the tastiest. It burbled out of the tub and lunged at her with an open mouth.

“Ay! Leave her-a lone!” Luigi shouted, jumping off a bench and over the broken wall to intercept the Chuchu. Jumping on it only resulted in falling through and getting stuck inside yet another living wad of goo. “Not again!” Luigi groaned from distressing irony.

Something had to be done about these Chuchus, and the best thing would be to wash away the goop their bathing in. To do that, the fountain would need to be unscrewed, unclogged and hammered back into place.
