The first two sand slashes had fallen back thanks to Morgana's spells, they were defeated as Mitsuru checked both of the pokemon's pulses. Fortunately they weren't dead, so the group wouldn't have faced consequences after the battle, however there was still one more Sand Slash left to be dealt with. Paula took the time to compliment Morgana for his excellence use of spells. "Looking cool Mona!" She smiled at the cat.

The Sand Slash, angry that he couldn't dig into the ground properly, wanted to avenge his fallen comrades by slashing at Paula. "Paula, look out, the last enemy is going to use his claws again." She warned, Paula sparkled her fingers with electricity. "No worries Mitsuru. I'll finish this one off." Paula blasted a static of electricity towards the Sand Slash, all the while trying to dodge his claw attacks.

The last bout of PSI managed to knock the Sand Slash out like his comrades. Paula breathed heavily before looking back at everyone. "That battle is over, now we can go onward and continue to find the dorm and Akechi, even if he is suspicious. I still don't want anything bad to happen to him." Mitsuru nodded and aimed her Rapier onward. "Let's go forward team." She started to run forward...In Circles.

"Mitsuru-chan?" Paula tugged on Mitsuru's shirt to get her attention again, she realised this wasn't Tartarus and grabbed her arm in embarrassment. "Sorry, it was just. Back in my own world, every time me and the members of SEES had won a battle, we would celebrate by seeing how strong were are and what items that the shadows in Tartarus had dropped." Mitsuru explained why she was acting aloof just now. Her and Paula kept walking forward further into the cave.

"So Mitsuru-chan, your old team, SEES, they sound like they were really close.." Paula wanted to talk about Mitsuru's old group, wanting to know more about the life of her new friend. After all, back when she was stuck on her island for a few months the woman had time to learn about Paula's life, and maybe she should find out more about Morgana's as well.

She briefly eyed Morgana from behind her. "Same with you Mona, I haven't seen you already the life sphere that match. I already know about your lives Nana and Popo from the books that people wrote of you, but you can tell us one of your adventures." Paula offered to let the three other members of the group tell there own life story's, Mitsuru blushed at Paula's comment.



"Well, you could say we were like a family. We started out small with me and another boy from the school that we used to attend to, his name was Akihiko Sanda, you all would of liked him, along with our friends, Aigis, Fuuka, Junpei, Koromaru, he's a dog, but i'll think you and him will get along well Morgana, same with you and another member Paula. his name is Ken and he would probably be around your age today." The memories of that year came back to Mitsuru and she remembered all the great times she had with SEES.

Particularity with, the other two members of SEES, Paula also blushed by Mitsuru's suggestion, but quickly noticed something up ahead.

"There's something up ahead." Paula pointed out the obvious.

Just like Mitsuru with the battle over, Morgana jumped up before running around in circles. Was this a thing Persona users just did after battle....? Paula's words snapped him to attention though as well and he scratched his head. "Yeah, we did the same thing," he stated in reply to Mitsuru and to Paula. Though now she wanted to know more about them both. That was fair and all but he had to have some secrecy you know. Though none of them seemed distorted so it may be safe, and Akechi was still a target for him, whatever he was doing.

"W-wait a minute. Why would I have a problem with dog?" Morgana replied, clearly not into the whole dog and cat association. "As for me, guess you could say the same. My team and I were like a family. The Phantom Thieves, formed of a group of teens and me as their mentor that were treated as outcasts and wrongly treated by adults. We work together to "steal the hearts" of those with distorted desires in a realm they create from that called the Metaverse. That way we can stop their evil actions and make them repent. Of course, the law did not really like the idea of vigilantees and Akechi was part of that. Though he had his own reasons.... I'd rather discuss that with him though," Morgana explained. "I came here with our leader, Akira, codename: Joker. No idea where the rest of the team is but I think we would get along well too," Morgana stated as he followed the group.

Though now they seemed to be approaching something... nondescript.

Thanks to the cool efforts of their team mates, the battle was over. Now it was time to press onward… in a circle? Mitsuru and Morgana were both running around circles for some reason. It looked like fun.
Looking at each other and shrugging, the Ice Climbers joined in the circle running.
“This Is fun!” Nana giggled after all.
“Normally we jump.” Popo compared this to their usual practice of jumping up and down in place at the top of each summit they would scale.

Mitsuru and Morgana both self-consciously stopped their loot combing by now, but the Ice Climbers, still brimming with energy continued to run circles around them.
They would, however, finally stop for story time.
“Ours are best.” Nana bragged about the books written about her and Popo’s mountaineering adventures.

“Everybody sounds lost.” Popo commented on theme of people who are missing now shared between Mitsuru and Morgana’s story.
“Togepi’s missing too!” Nana just remembered she had her own missing person.

It was then that the latest distraction would be found. Paula pointed out there was something nondescript ahead.

It seemed that Morgana came from a similar group of Persona users just like how Mitsuru came from her group of SEES, however it seems that Akechi was related to the phantom thieves. He was busy trying to arrest the team rather then help him unlike Akira, who appeared to be the leader of the thieves. "I see, so Akechi-san wasn't exactly on your side?" Mitsuru raised her brow at Morgana.

It seems that the cat and detective had a hostile history between each other, something which Mitsuru wanted to press Morgana on about, had Paula not interrupted.



When the group got closer to what Paula saw they would find the Togepi, who was huddling in a corner next to a ravine that would lead further down into the cave. There were five boats that are big enough to fit the current group, it was fortunate that Akechi wasn't with them, as if he was, the boat would have too many people.





The Togepi was crying again, however it wasn't because it was still recovering from the enemies, it was because of someone else. Mitsuru walked forward while Paula stood and watched silently. "Calm down, were here to help. Now, would you tell us who tried to hurt you?" The Togepi rubbed it's eyes and pointed to the boat.

"I think he's saying that the person who attacked him took off on the boat. Seeing as how there's no other path here, we might have to use one of these boats to pass this ravine, and get to wherever the dorm and person are." Paula put her finger to her chin.

"Do you think that the person that attacked Togepi was Akechi?" She raised her question with the group. Just hearing the name Akechi caused the Togepi to freak out and huddle back into the corner. "It appears so." Mitsuru stood up after crouching towards the group.

"I never knew Akechi-san might be this suspicious, after all he is a detective, still, we should tred lightly when we get across this ravine, for who knows what actions Akechi or that figure that attacked the Togepi might do if we encounter them. All they know is, if they attack then we'll be ready." Mitsuru and Paula then approached the boat, intending to sit on one of them and wait for Morgana, Nana and Popo to join them.

They can bring the Togepi with them, of course he would not be happy at being taken along for this mission.

"It's complicated," Mona replied simply as he followed the others, seeming intent on dismissing further discussion for now. He said far too much as it is anyway. The thing that was up ahead appeared to be an in-cave stream that had boats, thankfully, to guide them down. Still, the cat has not seen hide nor hair of Akechi, where could he be? Though, they did find where the Togepi has gotten off to. "It is a possibility," Mona confirmed to Paula at Akechi potentially being the one that brought harm to the egg like creature. Morgana did not want to believe it, but he could not deny there was a strong chance it could of very well been him.

"Everyone has a cover story, Mitsuru. Still, we should be on our guard, even if it is just Akechi," Morgana added, jumping into the boat alongside the other two. It was probably best to leave the Togepi here. It would probably be more harm than good to bring it along.

“Hey look! It’s-” Popo pointed once the nondescript thing came into describable view.
“Togepi!” Nana cheered, leaving him behind to run up to Togepi and pick him up. “There you are!” She sighed in relief, giving him an excited cuddle. “We were worried!” Holding Togepi out in front of her she quickly realized he was crying. “Aw, what’s wrong?” She cooed softly, trying to calm him down with gentle rocking. “Hush little baby.” ♪ [musicnote]

“He looks hurt.” Popo diagnosed on closer inspection. Mitsuru asked what hurt him and he pointed at the boat.
“The boat?” Popo scratched his head at the implication that the boat did something to harm Togepi.
“I’ll Kill It!” Nana shouted, mallet already in hand and fire in her eyes.
“Not the boat!” Popo jumped ahead of her and waved some sense into her. As Paula said it must have been someone who took off on the boat.
“I’ll Kill Akechi!” Nana decided, putting the mallet away for now but not the fire in her eyes.
“There. That’s better.” Popo shrugged contently.

It looked like the best choice would be to hop a spare boat to track Akechi and his accomplices down. Popo hopped aboard and saved a spot for Nana, who hopped onto the boat with Togepi in her arms.
“Nana.” Popo rolled his eyes at her impulsiveness. “Put him back.”
“To do what?” Nana stubbornly protested. “Get attacked again?”
“It’ll be dangerous!” Popo warned about the adventure that’ll likely await them down river.
“I’ll protect him!” Nana promised, volunteering to take full responsibility to watch over Togepi.
“But-” Popo tried to come up with another counter point, even looking at Paula, Mitsuru and Morgana for a reason to leave the Togepi behind, but he couldn’t think of one.
“Please Popo~?” Nana begged one more time with bigger sadder eyes than even Togepi’s.
“…Yup. Come aboard.” Popo sighed in defeat, allowing the gleefully smiling Nana to sit next to him with Togepi in her lap.

Mitsuru groaned at what Morgana said about everyone having cover stories, before gasping along with Paula when Nana threatened to destroy the boat, fortunately Popo talked some sense into her and together the two, along with the Togepi walked towards the boat. "Are you sure that's wise bringing the Togepi on the boat?" She pointed at the scared for it's life pokemon to the two. When they entered, the boat began to sank and Togepi quickly jumped off of Nana's arms and off the boat, stopping it from sinking and making the Togepi self conscious of his body.

So self conscious in fact, that it ran off crying. "We have no choice but to leave it be for now, as long as it's safe. We should go forward down the ravine." Mitsuru pulled the boat forward and onward it went further into the cave.

Where it quickly crashed, sending the five off of the boat and deeper into the cave. Paula and Mitsuru screamed as they tried to land.

The two girls landed badly face first on the hard rocks further on the cave. As the two got up and recovered from the crash, Paula noticed something again up a head. "Mitsuru, everyone, look up ahead!" Paula pointed to a large and to Mitsuru, familiar building up ahead.



Mitsuru smiled, as she realised that it was her old dorm building, the reason why the group were here in the first place, they have found it. "We made it. Come on everyone, let's go forward." Mitsuru advised Morgana and the Ice Climbers, however Paula realised that judging from the lights coming from the dorm and another crashed boat in the river behind the group, that they were not alone.

"Wait, were not alone, someone else is here." Paula realised and informed the four.

"I guess she has a point. It could be attacked again, but it's not like we can just be it's guardian, you know," Morgana shrugged as the Togepi ran off.... After causing the boat to sink a bit with it's weight... Okay, he was not familiar with Pokemon's weight, but given that thing was shorter than he was, it probably did not weigh more than a few pounds.... Which made this boat's safety really concerning. "You know, I am starting to think this boat may not be a very good idea...." Though it was already too late as they already pulled the boat forward. And of course, that was followed by a rough dive and an even rougher landing.

Though not the most durable fighter in the world, Morgana was a phantom thief, and that meant that style overrides physics. He managed to jump off the boat just in time, clinging onto the wall and using his agility to his advantage, nimbly jumped down the ravine safely. Of course, he landed with a stylish flourish of his sword and crossed arms. "And that is how a Phantom Thief gets out of danger," Morgana claimed boastingly. That is until he noticed Paula is really badly hurt. "Wow, you really took some damage, huh? Hold on, Paula. I can medigate some of that. What would you guys do without me, huh?" the cat.... stroke his ego a bit while casting green healing magic on Paula.

For his boasting, that heal was.... incredibly lackluster. Thankfully though, that were at their destination now. However, Morgana readied himself as.... another non-descript object was ahead of them. This time it being a person. Though Morgana had a hunch it was Akechi, it was hard to tell through the non-descriptness.

“He’ll be fine.” Nana insisted, deciding to ignore the way the boat was sinking under Togepi’s weight. Before Popo could bring the sinking to her attention, Togepi jumped off the boat and it resurfaced. “Togepi! Come back!” Nana called out to Togepi as he ran away, self-conscious of his body. “You’re Not Fat!”
“Now’s our chance!” Popo urged Mitsuru to put the pedal to the medal and get the boat out of there. “Hurry! Let’s go!”
“I love you!” Nana called out to Togepi one more time as the boat sped away. “Wait for me!”

But gotta go fast became went too fast as the boat quickly crashed, flinging the five off toward the cave shore.
“Waaaah!” “Eyaaaa!” the Ice Climbers screamed as they flew toward land.

“Hup!” “Oof!” Nana huffed as she nimbly repositioned herself mid-air to land on her feet, whereas Popo belly flopped at her feet.
“Popo!” Nana cried, pulling him up to his feet with the same concern she exhibited with Togepi earlier. “Are you okay?”
“I think so...” Popo  groaned groggily, brushing himself off. “Everybody okay?” He asked, checking Paula, Mitsuru and Morgana.

As Paula pointed everyone ahead to the old dorm building, Nana decidedly turned the other way and pouted, refusing to get her hopes up.
“Come on, Nana.” Popo reluctantly dragged her by her elbow to follow the rest toward the building.

"Thanks Morgana, but with the fast healing work of the Nurse Joy's in the light weather Hospital. I would of been fine no matter what." Paula countered to Morgana as the five walked through the door of the dorms.

When the five had entered the dormitory's, Mitsuru would be met with a wave of nostalgia, it seems that the dorms hasn't been damaged since it was sent to Li, the only sort of damage it has was that some of the furniture and pictures had fallen over when it landed in the cave. The room was lit up, although Mitsuru knew it wouldn't be for long until they gone out, if they want the lights to be kept on permanently, they need to turn on the three generators around the dorm.





Before Mitsuru could think of a plan however, Paula had stepped on a picture frame that fallen over. "Ohh, sorry." Paula apologised to Mitsuru as the two looked down at the picture of all the SEES members. "Wait, Mitsuru, are all of those people your friends?" Paula had asked as Mitsuru smiled. "Yes, they were all former members of SEES before it ended after a year...Something...Happened that wasn't just me and that gray haired boy graduating." Mitsuru was referring to the boy with the red sweater and white shirt in the picture, but she then eyed another boy in the picture.

The one with blue hair, she looked at him sadly for quite awhile, allowing Paula, Morgana, Nana and Popo to take notice. "That boy your looking at, did something bad happened---However before Paula could finish the two heard something from around the dorms. Footsteps, it seems that it was true and that there was a sixth person in the dorm with them that's possibly Goro Akecki.

"Someone's here, we might have to get started on finding the three generator's without Akechi's help, wherever he is, I hope he's fine no matter how shady he is." Mitsuru didn't like it when someone would be claimed victim of the Starvia, and she hoped that Akechi won't be the latest victim. Paula realised what this meant. "So, you could say this could be the first mission off...

THE NEW SEES!" Paula went to do a pose, Mitsuru shurgged, she would be fine with brining back SEES for this one mission, although she didn't have four extra arm bands she could give to Paula, Morgana, Nana and Popo. "Sure, we can have this be our first and only mission for the new SEES, but we should split up and activate the generators faster." Mitsuru pointed to Paula and Morgana.

"Paula, Morgana, you can go in one group." She then pointed to Nana and Popo. "Nana, Popo, since your always together you can be in the second group, i'll be in the third group. Don't worry, i'll be fine on finding the generator." Mitsuru tried to think on the last time she saw the generator's of the dorms.

That was when she remembered. "If i'm right, the first generator should be in the old control room that we used for meetings back in our SEES days. The second generator should be either on the third or floors, which is the boy's and girl's bedrooms respectfully, finally the last generator should be in the basement. We never usually go down there so it should be easy to find." Mitsuru waited for the four's response.

"Me and Morgana can go down to the basement, unless you or Nana and Popo want to go down there instead." Paula only got a head shake from Mitsuru in response.

    Aran Ryan had heard quite a bit about the inhabitants of Pokemon Cove in the past. He had never been there before, but he had heard stories of some of the weird and dangerous creatures that lived there. Obviously, Aran Ryan being himself, thought it would be a great source of powerful new combatants! He had been searching for hours, when he finally heard the all too familiar sound of combat from rather far away. Hearing this, he hoped he could join in, but once he got there, All he saw were a couple weird yellow-ish creatures lying on the ground unconscious, and a group of colorful characters cramming into a boat.
    "WHAT?!" He exclaimed. He had missed the first good opportunity in weeks he had to get into a good scrap? Unacceptable! 
However, thinking about the situation further, whatever they were doing, it had to be something that would lead to further fighting. They had just gotten into a fight already, so they must've been tough and mean. If he followed them, maybe he could get in on some of that excitement!
    "Wait up lads! I'm comin' with ya'!" He shouted, hoping to alert them of his presence. This did not work at all.
Instead the mad boxer decided to simply follow them into the cave. He wasn't the best swimmer, but all that thrashing in the water allowed him to pick up impressive speed. Once he made it into the cave, all he had to do was climb down a bit, and meet up with them. It wasn't exactly the most dangerous thing he ever did. Heck, it didn't even make the top 50. 
    Once he got down and found himself in front of a rather out of place dorm, he actually slowed down a bit. He was confident that whoever he was meeting up with inside loved fighting as much as he did. Throwing open the doors to the dorm rather forcefully, Aran Ryan made his presence known to the group. However, seeing who was in the group, he was a bit disappointed. Everyone else seemed rather childish by comparison. There was a little girl, a woman with a goofy sword, and a pair of short Eskimos.
    "Sup, everyone! I-Oh...Well this is awkward." His abrupt mood shift from enthused to disappointed was clearly noticeable to everyone. "My, uh..name's Aran Ryan. Nice to meet ya'." He said, feeling rather guilty for intruding. He didn't belong here. He just knew it.

When the Ice Climbers entered through the dormitory doors they were met with a wave of culture shock.
“Where are we?” Nana asked getting an eyeful of the only slightly damaged room.
“Is this school?” Popo asked suspiciously as he explored the fallen furniture and pictures. “I hope not…” He’d not heard much of what school is like around here, but it’s never sounded like any fun.
As the Ice Climbers inspected the room together, a picture frame Paula stepped on caught everyone’s attention, even theirs.
“What happened?” Nana asked Mitsuru about the boy with blue hair as Popo gave her a boost up to see the photo. “Did he fall?” Everyone’s sudden notice of the footsteps caused her to fall onto Popo.

“The New SEES?” Nana took a shine to Paula’s proposal, hopping off of Popo and eagerly joining Paula in posing.
“Roll credits.” Popo dinged in a non-sequitur daze before shaking his head and standing back up.
“Always together!” The Ice Climbers high fived when Mitsuru dubbed them the second group of the New SEES. “Better or worse.” Nana shrugged.
“Never climbed dormitories…” Popo noticed imaginatively. “Like new mountain!” He punched his fist, not knowing out of his head how high a floor was.
“New SEES!” “New SEES!” “New SEES!” “New SEES!” The Ice Climbers chanted as they hopped up and down in unison.

Just then, suddenly, an Irish boxer burst through the dorm doors.
“…Hiya.” Popo politely waved.
“You sound funny…” Nana scratched her chin suspiciously until it hit her. “I know you!” She got up with a start and dashed up to him to stare up at him with all his height.
“…Aren’t you Jacksepticeye?” She asked eagerly.

"It's a dorm you two, it's often a home for students of schools who need a place to stay, or if there from somewhere far away." Paula explained what a dorm was to the Ice Climbers.

Mitsuru looked at the photo of the old SEES members that Paula had brought up.

She was remembering the good times that she had with them. But then, the incident happened, and a few members...Were gone.

Soon, all the remaining members of SEES had went there separate ways following the end of the Dark Hour.

When Popo brought up, him, it brought back memories of when he helped her through a tough time.

"Are you ok Mitsuru?" Paula asked, feeling bad for bringing the picture that she stepped on, she rubbed the back of her head. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't of bright up th---No, it's fine." Mitsuru reassured Paula before looking back at Popo.

"He...Was lost, that's what happened. We lost another friend of ours shortly before that as well...Things didn't end well for us." Mitsuru looked back at the members of the new SEES.

"For now we should prepare to activate the three generators. let's all mo---Wait, Morgana is missing." Mitsuru noticed, as did Paula.

It seems that the group was dwindling in numbers. Paula fears that Mitsuru will become the next person to vanish.

Seeing as how the members that had vanished so far came from a world like Mitsuru's, luckily. Morgana's replacement had arrived in the form of Aran Ryan.

"Oh, I see you must be Morgana's replacement for this mission." Mitsuru guessed why Ryan was here.

Never the less, she retold the plan again to him and the Ice Climbers in case they forgot.

"Anyway a reminder of what were doing. Were going to activate three generators so the toad police will notice us. We should also keep an eye out in case Akechi-san reappears as well. Me and Paula will head into the basement where the first generator is, you three go upstairs where the last two are. Remember the second generator is either on the third or fourth floor. The third generator's located on the fifth floor, where the meeting room once was. Good luck, we will meet back here once all three generator's have activated." Mitsuru planned out for the trio as her and Paula moved down towards the basement of the dormitory's.

Leaving Ryan and the Ice Climber's alone to go upstairs in the dorm. Where there rouge party member's located.

He could be planning something devious for the three. They can either stay together or split up to find the two generators they needed to activate.

Either way they should move out soon before Paula and Mitsuru get back from the basement.

    Aran Ryan was no longer feeling guilty at joining up, as he noticed that nobody seemed to mind his intrusion. If anything, they seemed pretty happy about it. He thought this was weird. Most people found him vaguely frightening for some reason. He chocked it up to his rather lackluster intrusion, but he wasn't sure about it at all. When one of the little Eskimos eagerly ran up to him, he became puzzled. Jack septic...eye? Who was that? Aran had never heard of someone going by that name. Still, he decided if he wanted to stay on good terms with the group, he'd have to go along with it.

    "Seriously, I just said tha- Oh never mind. Well uh.. Yeah! Yeah, Jack septic eye, that's me! Top of the mornin' to ya!" Aran Ryan said, putting on his best impersonation of someone he knew nothing about.


    After he finished listening to the sword lady's explanation of the mission, Ryan became a bit impatient, and decided that now was as good a time as any to get a move on. Pulling the Eskimo twins towards him, he began speaking again.
    "Alright both of ya'! Let's get goin' to the third floor. We'll stick to each other like glue, and make sure nothin' happens to us. Sound good?"
    Not waiting to here their responses, Ryan began moving forwards, showing that he was in just as much of a hurry as the sword lady was. after less than a dozen steps he stopped, looking back at the group.
    "C'mon lads! Let's get goin'! Sword Girl, d'ya know where the stairs are?" He said with a grin.

“So…Not school?” Popo asked Paula with hope mixed in with his suspicion.

“Oh…” Popo slowly frowned as the weight of his disappearance started to impact him. “That’s rough, buddy…” He sighed sorrowfully, not sure how to verbalize the way he felt. He couldn’t imagine what he’d do if he had lost someone close to him.
“He said it! He said it!” Speaking of that someone close to him, she was jumping circles around Aaron Ryan Jacksepticeye, little heart-shaped snowflakes scattering like confetti around her.

“Yup! Got it” Popo saluted Mitsuru in understanding of their mission. “Come on Nana.”
“We’ll stick together!” Nana agreed, eagerly straggling over Aaron’s arm.
“Like metal tongues!” Popo agreed, describing what it’s like to lick frozen metal as he straggled onto Ryan’s other arm.

“Don’t need stairs.” Popo shrugged smugly, winking at Nana, who on cue, jumped up onto of might furniture without letting go of Aaron’s arm, beaconing Popo to jump up after her pulling the rest of the boxer up with him.
With the speed and efficiency of seasoned mountaineers, the Ice Climbers broke a hole in the dorm’s ceiling right up to the second floor with their mallets, which they proceeded to haul Aaron Ryan up through with them whether he liked it or not.
