Rosalyn's doppelganger stepped into her slash and just kinda... grabbed the blade of her sword, showing a flagrant disregard for her own wellbeing as it dug deep into her arm. She then shifted to grab the wrist holding Rosalyn's blade and move closer to her, planting her foot firmly behind the other where she stood before giving Rosalyn a hard shove back, forcefully tripping her and knocking her down. She then moved to step on Rosalyn's chest in an effort to keep her from squirming away, drawing a familiar looking pea shooter with her uninjured arm and attempting to fire off several shots into Rosalyn!
Nearby, G&W faced off against his golden doppelganger... and made the ballsy choice to throw the experimental starvia cure at it. The vial!! ... The doppelganger produced a golden chair from his being, smacking the vial out of the air and shattering in the process. This had the unintended effect of getting it all over himself. The effect was almost immediate. The doppelganger, unlike its counterpart over with Rosalyn, stopped in its tracks and began to quite plainly freak out. There was an effort to get the solution off of its body, but the deed was done and the extent of the solution's potency rapidly became clear. Being a body made entirely out of mutated shadow bugs, a cousin of the starvia, the golden game and watch began to ... disintegrate where it stood. Holes began to appear in its body where the potion had splattered, spreading up and consuming its entire being. New bugs attempted to join with it, but only seemed to prolong its suffering. A few long moments later, the golden game and watch was but a pile of ash on the floor.
It might become readily apparent why Ciel had only wanted to test the cure on a sample rather than a live test subject. The starvia 'cures' had a loooong history of being lethal if they were even slightly less than expected. Whether this reflected how it would behave in an actual test subject was unclear.
And Ciel... Well, Ciel would probably be more upset at the revelation that Rosalyn was responsible for all of this if well... her doppelganger wasn't ruthlessly unloading into her while she was down. It made it a tad difficult to concentrate, y'see. It quickly became apparent, much to Ciel's alarm, that she was going to be executed where she laid if she didn't do something. But she was hardly a fighter, and she was in too much pain to aim her own pistol! G-Goodness, Milan was going to be furious when he got back. More importantly, though, she was going to get trophied! But that was a fate she couldn't sit with. Disaster or not, she needed to take steps to protect herself, because right now she and her companions were the only things preventing disaster. It was time to call in some backup.
Crack! An assist trophy generator gave off a burst of light as Ciel called in the cavalry.
A well-built man graced the battlefield
Little Mac popped out into the room, staring Ciel's doppelganger down for a moment as they both registered each other's existance. Ciel's doppelganger raised her pistol to meet him, only to get slugged in the jaw just before she pulled the trigger! The blow rocked her petite body, nearly throwing her off her feet and sending her shot into the ceiling. A couple of followup punches to the belly and face and Ciel's doppelganger was thrown to the floor. Staggering back to her feet, Ciel quickly healed the edge off of her many wounds with curiph before quickly zoning in on Ringo to see how she was doing.
Nearby, Ringo's doppelganger approached her with that same easy pace. The spirit candle lit up in Ringo's grasp, responding to the touch of a soul. For a brief moment, her doppelganger recoiled at the sight. Bugs tended not to like fire. However, after a moment it seemed to realize how small the flame was compared to its new form and began attempting to reach past the flames to grapple with Ringo, barring its teeth rather savagely in a disturbing faux smile. However, as it began doing this Ciel caught up with it and, without giving it time to realize it had left itself open, delivered a quick overhead slice with a beam saber she'd picked up from nearby! This cut straight through the grasping arms, which dropped to the floor and deformed back into a couple of shadow bugs. Ciel then threw her weight into a shove and pushed the doppelganger away from Ringo. Her arm visibly trembled. Just the imagery of attacking Ringo, even if she knew it wasn't real, was a bit upsetting for her. Turning back to Ringo, Ciel's gaze softened.
...Didn't you get shot like, six times Ciel? She seemed to be handling it well enough, mostly because Curiph had partially healed the wounds already. They hurt, but she wasn't overwhelmed or anything. Meanwhile, a couple of new doppelgangers appeared. A doppelganger of... Shizuka? Where had they learned to copy her?? She began approaching Game and Watch. Meanwhile, doppelgangers of Chase and Aile using Model OX approached Ciel and Ringo. Ciel froze up for a moment, glancing at Model A.

" | Are you alright..? Stay close to me and I'll try and keep them off you so have some room to breath, okay..? | " |

" | They're taking DNA from Model A! They could have dozens of samples from him! | " |
