Cobalion is giving you an unamused look, Purple. It felt pretty clear what was most important to him, and it certainly wasn't noble. ...Maybe neutral, at best. Thankfully, White took notice of Purple's distraction. Purple would find himself nudged. "We're being quizzed. Just tell him what you hold closest to your heart, okay?" White calmly instructed. Meanwhile, the very comfy ball of pink frills and poofy hair in Cynthia's arms shifted to climb onto her shoulders and sit there, one leg to each side of Cynthia's neck. She looked like she was having a good time up there, leaning over against Cynthia's head a bit. "...To be a parent is not a truth, but it is one of the noblest ideals. Taking care of those who cannot take care of themselves... I can indeed relate, and you may pass. However, I would ask that you wait for your 'friends' to answer before you do. Not even the best parent can always assure their children will do no wrong." Cobalion replied, his eyes raising to Iris expectantly. he addressed Cobalion. "I want to hone my mind and become one with my pokemon!" Iris chirped. "...Become...one? And just how do you plan to do that? By 'battling' everything you encounter until nothing can stop you??" Cobalion replied, at first in confusion and surprise but then shifting to a low-key accusing tone. "No! By seeking out greater and greater challenges every single day to temper myself! What would the point be in fighting if I was just picking on people weaker than me??" Iris defensively retorted, balling her fists eagerly. Please don't punch the guardian, dear. At this, Cobalion was silent for a very long moment. " . . . It's been millions of years since I last heard a human utter that phrase. Many people would have called that the ultimate ideal. Humans and monsters strived toward it as partners, as equals. ...I had thought humanity had forgotten such dreams forever..." Cobalion began to muse aloud, earning himself a bemused look from Iris. "You may pass, but do not test your might against this forest and its occupants. Your challenge is not here."

"B-Black is my truth!"

White's comment came rather abruptly out of nowhere, earning a startled glance from Iris and Cobalion. "I believe in her, even if I don't always understand what that means! She's my sister! And I... love her. That's my truth." White went on to blurt out, cheeks red as cherries. " . . . What you've just described is not your truth." Cobalion replied rather harshly, eliciting a look of alarm from White. H-How could he..? She was being honest! This wasn't fair! " . . . The truth of love is the pursuit of Princess Peach, who passed here not long before your arrival. What you've described is actually an ideal. I can see that you've grown as a person since we last met. I suppose that must be thanks to Black's influence. I feel that you have made a very wise choice of friend in that one. Few have so flawlessly passed all of our tests. You may proceed." Cobalion remarked. Poor White was scared to tears, but she now found herself thrilled. "Thank you~!" she rejoiced before running off after Black.

Finally, Cobalion looked to Purple. He refused to repeat himself, especially given White's direction. Purple had only to follow through with them. " . . . "

Not far past, Peach stood with Daisy over the unconscious body ... of Keldeo. "...If this wasn't you, it..." Black began, deeply troubled by the fainted guardian. Valorie's name was on the tip of her tongue. Peach glanced over at Daisy. She was pretty concerned too.

Purple trembled nervously under the Cobalion’s stern gaze. He dropped out to become a Pokémon master to escape situations like this. He nearly jumped at the sudden sensation of White nudging him.
“T-thanks for the tip.” He nodded with a crack of a bashful smile.

What was closest to his heart, huh? He could sure feel it pounding now. Taking a look down at his heart, not much a surprise he found his hands gripping his sketchbook there. Was this his answer? It was pretty close to him. He set out on his journey to draw and one day publish a hand-illustrated Pokédex. He wanted to travel across the land seeking out and study Pokémon in their natural state. To observe them, to research them, to learn about and understand them. And to draw them would be how he did it. In fact, he wouldn’t like to admit it, but it was his only way how. He wasn’t exactly the very best at Catching Pokémon, as the current size of his team would show. He was never cut out to become a Pokémon Master, whatever that meant, let alone a Pokémon Champion like the amazing ladies in his company.

But pencil in hand was where he shined and his sketchbook was the tapestry of his accomplishments. It meant more to him than any Gym Badge, Contest Ribbon or any Frontier Symbol he never earned. It was his life’s work. …Well, it was his recent life’s work. The original was ruined in a run-in with Team Aqua. A portfolio 135 Pokémon strong burnt and soaked. To start over was a daunting task to even think about.

But start over he had to. The original sketchbook began with a simple doodle of the cutest fluffiest little orange Torchic that you ever did see. The new one began with a detailed illustration of the biggest, toughest, buffest red Blaziken that you ever did fear. Followed by stylish caricature of the silliest, goofiest, funniest green Ludicolo you ever did meet. And after that was an anatomical study of the most elegantly aerodynamic yellow Ninjask you ever did adore. And it hit him. So hard, hard he was embarrassed that he even had to think about it.

He nearly jumped a second time when White blurted out that Black was her truth. She sure meant a lot to her, didn’t she? He had barely met her yet, but he could kind of understand why. And surely enough, Cynthia and White were permitted access deeper into the forest, leaving Purple alone with his Pokemon. Alone with them and Cobalion again.

“Ehem” Purple cleared his throat. “Mr Cobalion, I-I have an answer. I…I…” He began to stutter as he spoke. The gentle landing of Kappineapple’s hand on his shoulder and the feeling of the tip of his fuzz on his arm as he came to stand beside him, stabilized Purple.
“Mr Cobalion, My Pokémon are my truth. I first set out on my quest to check out Pokémon around the world, and record my findings in this sketchbook.” He explained, holding out the book for Cobalion to see.
“But there’s more to it than that: On the way, I’ve found three of the best friends I ever had. They’re my Pokémon.” Clucky, Kappineapple, and Nintenda. They’re more than my pets, they’re my family and I love them.”[/font] He showed each of them off and tried to spread his arms around them, pulling them close.
“And I’m on my quest with my Pokémon, for my Pokémon: So that Nintenda can learn all about new and foreign Pokémon. So that Kappin can befriend them. And so Clucky can test his abilities against them and discover new ones. This is adventure is as much theirs as it is mine.”

Touched by his words, the ever emotional Kappineapple, scooped up his trainer and gave him a big sobbing hug, using Water Spout with his eyes.
“Aw there there, I love you too, big guy.” The kid chuckled, returned the hug. “…Come on man, you’re making a scene.” Being put down so the Ludicolo could dry his eyes, Purple handed him a tissue.
“I don’t just want to see what awaits beyond these trees with my own eyes. I want them to see it too. So Please Mr. Cobalion, sir? Can we go?” A signal from Nintenda reminded him he was forgetting something.
“And one more thing: If it gets to a point where my presence does become a risk to this place, then yes, I…We, will promptly turn back and leave.” Purple ended his speech with a nod of affirmation.

“Aw man…” Daisy cringed at the realization of who could’ve knocked this Keldeo unconscious. “I’ll be honest with you, Bonbon. I didn’t think the little fawn had it in her.” Daisy shook her head in mutual bewilderment. “She’s hardcore!” She grinned behind her hands, not wanting to be insensitive to the rekt Keldeo lying right in front of her.
“We gotta catch up to her before another legendary Pokémon gets taken down. …And not just because I wanna see it.”

Cynthia wasnt about to raise any objections as to what Cobalion considered a Truth or Not, She was allowed to go, And thats enough for her, Garchomp, In a sense of respect, nodded her head to Cobalion and walked past, as Cynthia turned,  Watching Purple as he explained himself. Cynthia wasn't about to leave any of her allies behind, Especially not the guy who has passed out a good few times just at the sight of Cynthia!

Cynthia made sure to hold tight onto Iris's legs as she was riding her shoulders, Smiling. "Iris, Be sure to watch out for Branches up there, Okay?" She would suggest, as Garchomp would now be Eye Level now that Iris had the height advantage to match garchomps, as Garchomp just kinda motioned its head over to Iris. Head pats are requested, Please Comply. Would be nice.

"Oh dear..." Peach lamented in exasperation. Frankly, she wasn't too surprised that it had come to this. These guardians could be real hypocrites when it came to the no violence principle. Still though, she wished there had been a better way.

"I'll stay here and take care of Keldeo while I wait for the others." Black offered. Without further delay, Peach took Daisy's hand and raced off with the other princess in search of their fawn!

" . . . Many trainers have made such a claim. Few have truly impressed." Cobalion replied. Dang Purple, for the odd one out in so many ways you sure are basic! Clearly, Purple's pokemon just needed him to play the straight man to their zaniness and balance them out. A noble sacrifice, but Cobalion wasn't having this cliche. "You may pass." ...Or... was he? What had first seemed like condemnation turned out to be a simple observation. Purple was being given the chance to impress, even if most failed. Without further ado, he shifted once again to acknowledge Cynthia for a brief moment. Watching Iris cuddle Garchomp's head from Cynthia's shoulder made him feel all sorts of soft. Good grief, these people were worse than Virizion! He needed to get out of here before ...something bad happened to the forest. Yeah, that's it. The forest. Better go rough up those Team Plasma Grunts...

Cobalion turns to bound away.

"Some day I hope the entire world will recognize me as not just a champion, but a dragon master. I want to befriend a gible so that they can grow up to be as cute as you~!" Iris chirped. She seemed to enjoy feeling tall for a bit. As the group catches up to Black and White though, they arrive just in time to see Black carefully inspecting an unconscious Keldeo while White watched. "That's so weird..! I can't find any wounds!" Black murmured. She was trying to find a place to spray her full restore. After a moment though she just kinda shrugged and began spraying all over the fallen guardian. Within moments, Keldeo rather abruptly regained consciousness and squirmed to his feet. "H-Huh? ...--Black? What are you--? That girl! She's--" Keldeo began to stammer, tripping all over his words in bursts of panic. "It's okay! We're all here to help. What happened..?" Black gently replied from her crouching position beside Keldeo. "A deerling came by claiming to be a human and...--She put me to sleep! I wasn't expecting nature power. I have to go. She's in danger!" Keldeo blurted out, moving to run off. "We'll come with you!" Black quickly offered.

"No one should be near this part of the forest! ...B-But... I'm scared of what will happen if I'm not strong enough. Do you think you can help me if anything goes wrong, Black?" Keldeo countered before relenting. Boy, that was a lot of trust being placed in humans! Or Black, at least. Luckily, Black's history with the muskateers seemed to buy the group some leniency and the group raced off to finally find their fawn. ...But what was so dangerous left in this forest? They'd already seen every guardian, so what was left to discover..?

Upon approach to the core of the sacred grove, an indescribable sensation falls over the group.

You feel your mortal coil begin to come undone at the seams.

Valorie's shouting and the sounds of rather loud cracks, or small explosions, could be heard before the group was able to locate the scene. Standing off against each other was a familiar deerling and...

...Xerneas. The massive 10 foot tall stag stood over a panting Valorie, just kind of theatening to squish her if he so much as lifted a foot. It looked like she had just attacked him with seed bomb. "You can't do that! You can't tell me that..!!" Valorie screamed. It sounded like they'd walked in on a tantrum.

As excited as she was to be out on another adventure, this wasn’t just a clear-cut case of “drop the dragon and rescue the kidnapped maiden” that Daisy was always missing out on. They were searching for a lost child. A lost child leaving a trail of legendary Pokémon in her wake. They had to find her and bring her home before she downed another, or worse, it downed her. This was serious.

Letting Peach take her hand, Daisy raced off with her in search of their fawn. She picked up pace and caught up to her, running in step, before running ahead of Peach, then in front of her. Slowing down for a brief second, Daisy positioned herself into bumping Peach right up her tail bone and onto her back. Daisy was letting Peach ride her like a Yoshi for old time sake and because it was decidedly faster.

The sounds of loud cracks and small explosions made the fawn pretty easy to track down. Sooner than any Mario brother would take, the princesses arrived at the clearing where the Deerling they were looking for was standing off… against a Xerneas!

“Dang girl, look at you! Challenging the Great Prince of the Forest and everything!” Daisy let her impulse get the better of her before she covered her mouth, seeing Peach’s glare through the back of her head.

Meanwhile at the outskirts of the inskirst of the forest, Purple’s entire team stood in suspense awaiting Cobalion’s judgement. The trainer himself closed his eyes to brace for the verdict. Not guilty!-I mean Accepted!-I mean he passed!-I mean he can pass?
“I…I may?” Purple’s eyes shot open to the gasp of his team. “We may pass! We did it guys! We’re in!” Purple cheered with his team in a four-way hi-five. He had honestly expected Cobalion to turn him away as soon as he promised they would. “Thank you so much, Mr. Cobalion!”
Without warning, Kappineapple picked his trainer up and swung him around in a big circle. His trainer didn’t mind. Not only was the excitement mutual, but these are things you come to expect when you raise a Ludicolo. What he didn’t expect was for his Ludicolo to toss him up onto his head pad for a ride!
“Onward!” Purple excitedly commanded his impromptu vessel, holding onto the “mast” as Kappineapple lead the team ahead, deeper into forest.
“Ahoy thar, fair maidens!” The captain of the S.S. Ludi-cool-o waved as it caught up to the S.S. Shenlong. “Much obliged that you waited on us!” He seemed pretty confident after that positive reinforcement. He didn’t even faint this time!
Nintenda hitched a ride on Clucky’s head and patted him as he walked so he wouldn’t feel left out. Not that he cared or anything. She had the fastest ride now too.

“Ninjask!” Nintenda buzzed, leading the parade on her Blaziken colleague’s head. She was alerting everyone that she caught sight of Black and White up ahead.
“Avast! Monochrome sirens dead ahead off the bow-wait a minute!” Purple called out before noticing what they were doing. “It’s another injured guardian! We gotta hurry!” He jumped right off of Kappineapple’s head (10 points for sticking the landing) and hurried up alongside Clucky to investigate the Keldeo just now staggering to his feet.

Purple’s, Nintenda’s and Clucky’s eyes collectively widened as Keldo described the Deerling that attacked him. This stray Deerling’s sounding like more and more of a handful. And what’s with claiming to be a human?
“And if anything goes wrong, We’ll help too, right Clucky?” Purple volunteered himself and his prized Fire/Fighting type.
“Blaziken!” Clucky confirmed, being battle starved, he’d take any daring do at this point.
By the time Kappineapple caught up with everybody, it was time to It was time to follow Keldeo and move on.
“Lu-di-colo…” He panted wistfully. Just what he needed: More running on his stubby legs.

Clucky picked up the pace at the sound of a little girl in distress along with the sounds of loud cracks and explosions. Reaching the heart of the grove, he and everyone with him found…
Another legendary, the Deerling, and… Not one, but Two Princesses? Purple almost fainted again, but it was his winded Ludicolo that needed him to support his weight this time.

Cynthia smiled as her Garchomp accepted the head cuddles as Cynthia was quite happy of Iris saying her ideals of being a Dragon Master. "Oh? You can always ask me, If be happy to take you around to look for one!" She said, Before Garchomp backed away, Walking with the group, as Cynthia followed everyone with Iris in Hold.  Cynthia had come in just to see Kaledo recovering from, What looked to be a Sleep Stasis. 

She sighed in relief, as she looked to see Kaledo alive, As suddenly she shivered at a distinct, horrible feeling crawling up her Spine...Cynthia helped Iris get off her shoulders, As she would rush herself in deeper, To see the Gigangtic Deer looking down the familiar, Pink deerling. Cynthia's eyed opened wide. "V-valorie!" Cynthia would yell in worry, stepping forward as she just couldnt help herself. 

She ran up to Valorie, Garchomp rushing along with Her to Protect the tiny deer. "Leave her alone!" She would say to Xerneas, Protective Mom cant help herself!

--Well don't mind if I do, Daisy! Peach wouldn't have requested such a thing on her own really. She didn't consider it very dignified to let anyone ride you, but well...

They were friggin' princesses. They defined what was ladylike; they weren't defined by it! ...It was a sentiment often repeated when one became self-conscious about themselves in the sisterhood, coined by Raffina--who understandably used it to justify punching people in their stupid faces. ...Okay maybe she wasn't the best role model, but the saying still held merit! Peach pouted at Daisy's remark though. Don't encourage her! She's not--...They're not.... Well, actually it was just premature really. They might very well wind up fighting that monster!

"I think they probably live here in Pokemon Cove on Li..!" Iris mused aloud, only to find herself caught up in what definitely looked like a battle. ...Her heart already hurt with the knowledge that she wasn't supposed to violence this mythical creature. When would she ever get a chance to fight something so epic again?! Come on Cobalion! Joykill. In the distance, a roar that shook loose leaves from the trees could be heard.

Iris was likely one of the only people not to flinch even a little. "--Well someone wants to fight! I'm gonna go give it to them." she observed rather enthusiastically, leaping from Cynthia's shoulders and sprinting off in search of their loud friend. Nearby, a startled Valorie was just confused as to why someone was screaming obscenities in pokespeak in the distance. Man, that was just uncomfortable. The voice sounded familiar, but she wasn't sure where from. Weird... She decided to ignore it, quickly focusing back on Xerneas and the protective mom doing her thing. Xerneas just kind of stared down at Cynthia. It was difficult to read his face, but he was taking a defensive posture."...Keldeo, what is the meaning of this? Why are these humans here??" Xerneas remarked after a long moment, clearly outraged at this intrusion. "Th-They must've passed our tests! I'm sorry!" Keldeo stammered out in reply, clearly intimidated by Xerneas' confrontational tone. "...'Your' tests? They 'must have'...?" Xerneas replied in disbelief, clearly not having any of this. "A bunch of sociopaths fight their way past your brothers and attack me in my sanctuary, but they passed your tests??" Xerneas snapped rather confrontationally. Perhaps the girls had made a mistake by bringing people like Iris and Purple in, despite having been rejected by one of the guardians prior. Perhaps they'd simply gotten mixed up with the Team Plasma attack. Any which way, Keldeo was taking the blame. "I'm sorry! There was this deerling. She said she was a human and--..."

"WHO EXACTLY ARE YOUR TESTS SUPPOSED TO KEEP OUT, KELDEO?!"

"...Humans."

" . . . Get out."

"But Xerneas!"

"You have a lot to learn before I can trust you to be a guardian of this forest, Keldeo."

One could observe the heartbreak in Keldeo's eyes. He hung his head, turned tail and ran off. A thoroughly alarmed black would step back and bow to Xerneas. "I'm sorry, Xerneas." Black promptly apologized before also turning tail and running off to pursue Keldeo, leaving White behind to watch her go. Dangit, Black. Couldn't you go and comfort Keldeo after you made sure Valorie was okay?? Following this, Xerneas turned his gaze back down on Cynthia.

"...As for you. You trespassers will find that my test is not so forgiving." Xerneas coldly remarked. "I have not yet raised a hoof to your little one. She came here seeking advice, and attacked me when I gave it to her!" Xerneas angrily protested, earning a glare from Valorie. "You're a liar! He said I'm not human!" Valorie shouted. "Just because I've been forcefully transformed doesn't mean I'm not still--" Valorie began, only to get cut off by the sound of a large crash from not far off, followed by a familiar roar. This time it sounded distressed and bewildered like a little girl had just tried to wrestle it out of the blue. It was also still vulgar. Fella, this is a PG13 forest! " . . . You are not human. Not at heart, not at soul, not in body. And if you ever were, your very nature has been inexorably changed. As I said before, I cannot aid you." Xerneas replied in a softer tone of voice. It did little to quell Valorie's expected response, however. No sooner had he finished when the tiny deerling screamed in frustration at the top of her tiny lungs and shot off another seed bomb over Cynthia's head at the legendary pokemon, knocking him off balance for a moment.

Xerneas sharply glared right past Cynthia, taking a more combative stance. He then immediately rushed the trios of girls before him, lowering his horns and attempting to plow into them in retaliation!

((Cynthia and Garchomp are being targeted by Xerneas' megahorn! Roll 14+ to dodge, else take 30% damage))

However, his true target was Valorie, the tiny deerling would be sent flying backward, landing near Daisy and Purple. She struggled back to her feet with some serious effort. That attack--it was super effective! Nearby, an alarmed White produced a pokeball and tossed it. Peach also hopped off of Daisy's back, not ready to sit back and let this play out. You wouldn't want to let Valorie get hurt, would you?? To Peach's mild alarm, Reshiram emerged from White's pokeball in all its glory. Its roar echoed across the forest, drawing Xerneas attention for a moment. At Reshiram's feet, White was giving him a knowing look.

Purple was broken out of increasingly recurring case of star-struck by Cynthia yelling the pink deerling’s name.
“Wait-Valorie? Isn’t that the name of…?” Purple snapped his fingers trying to remember where he heard it. A nod from Nintenda was enough to remind him it was the name of the Deerling they were looking for. “It is! Good work team, we found her!” He congratulated his crew as Cynthia ran over to claim her.
“Blaziken?” Clucky asked Purple concerning the Xerneas staring Valorie and Cynthia down.
“No, down boy.” Purple called him off. “Don’t you remember what Mr. Cobalion said? We’re Not supposed to-” He was cut off by a sudden loud reptilian roar. A roar that sent him, his Ludicolo and his Blaziken quivering into each other’s arms. It sent his Ninjask to cover her trainer’s ears. Such language.

“…Sounds like somebody couldn’t wait till the release date…” Daisy scoffed, playing off her jolt with a light quip.

“Ludicolo?” Kappineapple cowardly asked what that was. “Ninjask.” Nintenda replied, opting to stay where it was safe and not finding out.
The Unovan Champion on the other hand, wasn’t the least bit intimidated and went off on her own to investigate. Clucky wanted to go with her, but he had a duty to stay with Purple and protect him from Xerneas if he tried anything. He was sure the sailor-mouth Tyrantrum would’ve been more fun, though.
But Xerneas was clearly the more relevant threat at the moment. He seemed none too happy at all that the likes of Purple were here.

All four of them plus Daisy felt bad for Keldeo now. As much as Daisy wanted to step forward and give Xerneas a piece of her mind on Keldeo’s behalf, Black beat her to it.
“Maybe we should follow them…” Purple whispered to his team as Black ran off after Keldeo. It did not sound like the best idea to stay here much longer. Before any of them could turn around however, they felt Xerneas’s piercing glare upon them. Also, “Sweet Helix, that Deerling can talk.” Purple gasped under his breath as Valorie threw a tantrum. “Ninjask?” Nintenda tried to remind him. “Yeah yeah I know all those Other Pokémon could talk, but still-”
And he was cut off by yet another roar. At least Nintenda was fast enough to cover Purple’s ears. Good thing whatever that was couldn’t speak English. The heck was that Iris chick Doing?

Daisy on the other hand had to keep her mouth covered because of what that Valorie chick was doing.
Having the nerve to stand defiantly against a legendary and still bark at it after being denied? Human or not, she had the guts that made a great Pokémon in her opinion. And it looked like her turn was over, for Xerneas used Megahorn.

They all gasped in unison as Purple, Kappineapple and Daisy all rushed to catch the flying Deerling. And they all missed. Kappineapple got to her first. “Ludicolo!” He tried to warn her to stand down while his trainer treated that nasty bruise she got. He moved to stand between her and Xerneas while Purple came to tend to her.
“What the Sawsbuck! Are you alright?” Purple asked the staggering deerling as he slid to a halt beside her. Nintenda wasted no time catching up to Purple and unzipping the medicine pocket. “D-don’t worry, I got a potion somewhere in here that’ll fix you right up.”

“Excuse me kiddo,” A gloved hand tapped Purple on the shoulder. He looked up and couldn’t believe his eyes. “I appreciate the effort, but Dr. Daisy’ll take it from here.” She smiled with confidence that unlike him, she knew what she was doing.
“O-ho-of Course y-your highness!” Purple stuttered, scrambling away from Valorie with a bow. “Sh-she’s all yours!”
“Blaziken?” Clucky whispered to his trainer as he finally caught up. “Dude, that is the Princess of Sarassaland!” He whispered back with a nudge, urging him and the rest of his team to genuflect with him. Kappineapple threw an extra twirl into his bow.

My my, some recognition? A girl could get used to this...~ Daisy didn’t have time acknowledge her adoring fans, however: She had a cranky little Deerling to take care of.

Purple felt like a Durant among a herd of Mega Gardevoir, but don’t you pinch him. He didn’t want to wake up from this dream.

Well if he was dreaming, he must’ve been a heavy sleeper, because a third giant roar didn’t wake Purple out of it. “Reshiram!”
“Blaziken?” Clucky nudged his trainer eagerly. “Okay boy, you win. It looks like Go time.” Purple finally agreed. He called his Ludicolo and Ninjask back into their pokéballs to avoid collateral damage.
“Blaze!” Clucky zestfully jumped beside Reshiram in fighting stance, awaiting his trainer’s orders. Time to show these legendaries what He was made of.
“Are we really doing this?” Purple hesitantly asked, walking up to White’s side, ready to assist her in battle. This didn’t feel like the right thing to do, but if she thought it was, he was with her all the way.

Cynthia watched in a bit of Disbelief as Xerneas delivered such harsh hatred and vitriol to Keledo. Cynthia opened her mouth, Preparing to yell out against Xerneas, only for Xerneas's own shouting to overthrow her, making her glare hesitantly at Xerneas, as Keledo, Heartbroken, would run off, as Cynthia made yet another mental note to cheer up that musketeer as well.

And then, Came the final Direct Ettention Cynthia wanted since she came into contact with Xerneas. She wasnt about to let him get away with abusing these poor pokemon without some sense slapped into him. Cynthia looked to Black, Confused as to why she provided actual praise for a creature so inappropriate as this?? Clearly someone needed to show him how REAL parenting is done. 

Garchomp, on the other hand, Just kinda looked up and yelled loudly. "GRAAAARRRRRR!!!" He yelled into the distance, which was roughly a variation of "WATCH YOUR LANGUAGE, THERE ARE KIDS HERE."


Cynthia looked to Valorie as she explained herself, As to how Xerneas told her she wasnt human, Being transformed like this leaving her in this state by force. And Xerneas had told her that, By all logic, She was a Pokemon. But not to Cynthia, Cynthia stood tall as she looked Xerneas dead in the eyes. Until, a Sudden Seed Bomb smashed into Xerneas with a burst, Making the Pokemon Agitated!

As a Cerulean Shield appeared around it, Taking the Brunt of Xerneas's Charge whilst protecting its master, Grachomp would Remove its Bubble Shield, And Open its Mouth to try and clamp down on some Blue Deer Meat!

Appropriately Enough, While Garchomp would wind up chowing down on Nothing, the Added Anger of this would lead Cynthia to look at Xerneas with a Deep glare, Coming out from behind Garchomp and looking rather upset at Xerneas. "...How dare you call yourself a master of this Sanctuary, When you Berate and harm those who live within it?!" Cynthia would ask, Pointing at Xerneas in a Scolding way. "Your Hypocrisy wont be Tolerated anymore! I Know Valorie is a Human, I Know Keledo didnt do anything wrong...And i know you are the Wrong one here. And ill show you just how much your wrong. Lets see if this will make you remember how they feel!" Cynthia would declare, before taking out her Heart of Compassion, And Shining it at Xerneas! Should its light affect it, He may begin to feel his Wise and Old Spirit returning to Youth...Very Youthfull!

("I KNOW THAT NOW! ONE OF THEM IS AGGRESSIVELY HUGGING ME! WHY IS THIS WORLD SO WRONG??") a panicked voice roared in response to garchomp. Meanwhile, an injured Valorie awkwardly snuggled into Daisy's arms. She appeared distraught with the situation. "I don't know. Normally I'd say a good battle can sort out any misunderstanding, but these guys don't seem like the types to stop and ...appreciate that." White replied, her gaze shifting to Purple. "Honestly, I don't like this place. It all feels wrong..." White went on to remark, one hand drifting to her hip as she shot a derisive glance Xerneas' way. You would say that, wouldn't you White? After all, this forest was a place of ideals.

Far more important, however, was what Cynthia was doing. Xerneas watched her with a certain intencity, anticipating an attack of some sort. What he definitely was not expecting, however, was to have his age regressed. The legendary pokemon shrunk before their very eyes--not too much, but he was quite a bit smaller than before. More than that though, the heavy presence looming over them vanished all at once. ...Cynthia had succesfully turned Xerneas into a baby! Peach and White were stunned. The legendary pokemon appeared dazed, staggering forward slightly before coming to a stop. " . . . Allowing humans . . . was a MISTAKE!!" Xerneas blurted out in a childish rage, a certain hatred in his eyes now.

"Hey Valorie!" Iris' voice called out from nearby.

Those present would have been able to tell something was coming if they weren't too distracted, mostly because of the very heavy footsteps that ever so slightly shook the ground. From amidst the trees, Iris emerged riding a ferociously giant pokemon many people who weren't into researching fossils might not even know existed! "I found your tyrantrum! Rex, right?" she called out rather cheerily. Rex's eyes shifted back and forth, sizing the group up. ("Where is that little pipsqueak?? I wanna--") the ancient dragon pokemon began, only to stop as his gaze picked up on something off about Xerneas. ("...Well. If it isn't the 'king of the forest'. Sorry, sire. Law of the Ancient World.") Rex remarked in a cold tone. Xerneas and Iris seemed to pick up on the predatory vibes Rex was giving off, but in his weakened state he was unable to scramble away in time to dodge Rex's attack. Lurching forward, Rex lunged out and dug his teeth deep into Xerneas without any real additional warning. Sweet mother of chansey protect the kids eyes. This was going to get graphic, quick.

A terrible crunch could be heard Xerneas' body utterly failed to stand up to Rex's jaw. The ancient pokemon then yanked him into the air and began to violently shake his head back and forth, thrashing Xerneas about! A shrill scream was heard from Peach at the display. It was at this point that a thoroughly shocked Iris was thrown from her position riding his neck. Hey Cynthia, catch! After a good moment of that though, Rex promptly tossed Xerneas away, ragdolling the legendary pokemon nearby. That is to say, he was limp and gravely wounded. If he was even still alive, it was barely. Rex's teeth were drenched in blood. With that brutal take down and plausibly kill complete, Tyrantrum promptly turned on the rest of the group. Hunkering down slightly, he let loose a terrible roar!

“Now just hold still…” Dr. Daisy instructed as she cradled Valorie in one arm and sprayed her injuries with a Super Potion held in her other hand. She then proceeded to cover up her bruises with colourful band-aids. Were they really necessary or just for style sake? “There we go, as good as new.” She punctuated her treatment with a kiss right on the booboo.
“Now when we get back to the Glass palace, I’ll fix you some nice herbal tea _{and we’ll see if I don’t have a spare Leaf Stone lying around.”} She whispered to the Deerling as she cradled her like a precious pet.
“Because all This… you had Mama Peach over here worried sick, didn’t she Bonbon?” She cooed, inviting Peach into the mock-scolding.

“I don’t think I’d like it if trespassers came picking fights in my sacred grove either.” Purple had to admit.
“But you’re right. A good battle can get it all out of your system and open you up to reason. It always cures whatever sour mood Clucky’s in, doesn’t it boy?”
Clucky nodded in agreement. Xerneas was clearly in need of an attitude adjustment and he’d gladly volunteer to do the adjusting.

But before Purple could call out a battle-starting attack, Cynthia had a few choice words for their opponent. And a choice move. Neither Purple, Clucky nor Daisy could guess what happened next. They stared with widening eyes as the once giant majestic deer shrunk into a little blue fawn.


“Oh my goodness…” Purple gasped at the sight of the baby. “…He’s So Cute! There’s no way I can Not draw him now!” He squealed with enthusiasm. The rage in its beady little eyes just made it all the cuter.

“Aw, look Valorie.” Daisy cooed, teased the deerling a bit. “He’s almost as small as You now!”
“…Ke?” Clucky coughed with a confused head tilt. Oh great. No way was Purple going to let him battle now.

Clucky’s frustration didn’t last long, however. He braced all over again to the loud footsteps of a much bigger creature came up behind Xerneas. As if the surprises weren’t enough, a Tyrantrum broke through the trees to make its presence all too known.
“A Tyrantrum!” Purple choked in amazement at the sight of a Pokémon he thought was extinct. Would dreams stop coming true today? In his youth, before setting out on his Pokémon journey, Purple used to love spending hours drawing Cranidos, Aerodactyls, Archens and Amauras and other prehistoric Pokémon from his imagination, and Tyrunts in particular were one of his favourites. Wait did Iris say this was Valorie’s? She’s so lucky.

It went from envy to sheer terror real quick. Clucky and Daisy’s jaws dropped and Purple outright screamed at the sight of Rex chomping into the de-aged and defenceless Xerneas. It only got worse from there. Before anything could be thought of to help the baby deer, the screaming devolved into crying as it was violently shaken and tossed away like rotten meat.

Despite not being any less stunned than anyone else present, Daisy’s instincts kicked in and broke her into a sprint. Without so much as telling Valorie what she was about to do, or even putting her down, Daisy raced to Xernea’s flying arc and took a dive to catch him like a professional Football player. Catching the injured Xerneas and breaking its fall, all those Strikers matches paid off. Not having the time to care that her dress was now splattered with blood, Daisy got back up and rushed to back Peach.

“Peach! We gotta get to a Pokémon Center! Stat!” Daisy pleaded to Peach with urgency. The blue baby deer in her arms looked more dead than alive. “Look at him! Unless you brought a 1-Up Mushroom with you, he’s not going to last like this!”

Daisy’s sentiments toward the Pokémon took a strong departure from a minute earlier. Despite being a secondary emotion now, all Daisy’s rage was now pointed squarely at the terrible Tyrantrum, who reminded her of his existence by roaring. She wanted to show him what for, but she had its victim to take care of. Guess the Pokémon trainers had to handle this.
“Hey guys! Take that overgrown Don Bongo down, will ya?” She rally-called White and Purple from a distance.
Clucky whole heartedly agreed, snapping out of stun and back into fighting stance. Purple, on the other hand, was not so quick to recover. Without Kappineapple there to hold his hands or anything like that, he anaemically collapsed to his knees, pale face drenched in tears, nearly throwing up thanks to the horror he had just witnessed. This didn’t surprise Clucky either: Neither of them had witnessed this level of brutality before. But it didn’t faze him either. Clucky grew strong fighting to defend Purple, and to him this was just another one of those times. Plus unlike Xerneas, he wasn’t a baby. He was ready to avenge Xerneas and Purple’s childhood. All he needed was the command.

“Blaziken!” Clucky called to his trainer in a stern yet understanding voice. It was a one sentence speech, but it managed to get through to him.

Amidst all this chaos and panic, beside the limp and gravely wounded deer in one arm, Daisy remembered there was another not nearly as wounded baby deer in her other that was trembling yet frozen.
“Wait a minute… Valorie! Didn’t Iris say that’s Your Tyrantrum?” Daisy looked down at her and asked without changing the urgency in her tone. “Do something! Call him off before he kills the rest of us!”

Cynthia took in a deep sigh of relief, as the intimdating Stag of Damnation and Doom was reduced to a practical Toddler of its former self, Making Cynthia smile happily. "There...Now we can talk on better terms." Cynthia said, Seeming quite proud of herself for this! He was acting like a big baby with too much power, after all. Only fitting this is the result! Cynthia Smiled as Purple seemed quite pleased as well with the result of Cynthia's Heart of Compassions ability, The Gasps around giving her quite the Boost.



Xerneas's Childish Tantrum made Cynthia sigh a little, shaking her head. "See? This is what i was talking about. Your throwing a fit over something thats only temporary. "That transformation will only last for a little While. Now were gonna try to adjust that attitude of yours so you wont be so rude to guests trying to help, Hm?' Cynthia would ask, Smiling as she was prepared to Scoop Xerneas into her Arms and Snuggle him into Submission like a True Motherly Fighter would..Until a Sudden Charging Rampage would tear its way through the tree's, with Iris atop.



"What the-!!" All at once, Cynthia was reminded of the simple fact that Xerneas was probably using his powers to keep things like THAT out. Oops. Cynthia, Detecting the hostile Aura, was prepared to give a Order to Garchomp to Protect them both, But before she could so much as make Way to Begin a Strike, Xerneas would of been Fiercly Chomped down into, As Cynthia closed her own eyes, Holding Iris into her chest to protect her from such an awful sight!



Cynthia looked back, Almost worried to face that Wounded and Scarred Deer Carcass face to face, When suddenly, Daisy would Dive bomb in, Grabbing Xerneas and stepping aside with it, Commenting on Xerneas's poor health. "Xerneas!" Cynthia would scream suddenly, Looking back at the Tyrantrum, Gritting her teeth and standing up, Looking back at Tyrantrum as Garchomp would snarl hatefully, Not bothering to exhaange anymore banter with that T-rex, narrowing its Red eyes as it squared up to tussle...

However, as soon as the Massive Roar was Unleashed, Garchomp fell over, Her lip twitching upward as she seemed to back up, Prompting Cynthia to Use Garchomp's pokeball to send her back to Rest, and instead, Sending out a Pokeball, That summoned forth Milotic! "Its ok Garchomp...Im scared too. Take a rest, we'll take it from here, Right Milotic!" Cynthia said, as Milotic Coiled around herself opening her eyes and staring at Tyrantrum. She knew just how to deal with bullies like these!



Milotic would wind up her  Tail, suddenly Spinning into a Ring, Unleashing a Ring of Draconic Fire, Throwing it...Not at Tyrantrum, but instead, a Tree Behind him!

"Mmmph??" Iris' muffled alarm was snuffed out by the cushioning embrace of Cynthia's bosom. Her squirming quickly ceased as she realized what was going on though. As much as she would probably have been thrilled to accept such a challenge, she trusted Cynthia too much to resist her embrace. There was no horror now. Only boobs.



Unfortunately, Valorie was not so easy to comfort. As much as she appreciated small Xerneas, being on the opposite side of Rex was not something you could choose not to be afraid of. Not her, anyway. "Rrr--..R-Rex! S-Stop!! You'v-ve turned sa-savage!!" Valorie shouted, her voice cracking several times as she choked all over her words.

...The poor thing was crying. Daisy could feel her trembling in her arms. Valorie could barely even talk let alone get Rex to listen to her. ("I was always SAVAGE! I'm a dragon, not some house cat! You can't declaw me you little--") Rex shouted back, only for a tree to come crashing down over his head with a thunderous crash. Arceus! That had to weigh what, 2000 pounds? More? A tree falling on you was like nine levels of lethal, but to Rex? It just kinda ... broke over his head. One could see it pushing him down, but then it just kinda shattered and fell apart! A guttural growl escaped the titan as he recovered from the blow, leaving him vulnerable enough to take a few extra hits. Rex's aura spiked with darkness. You could almost mistake him for a dark type pokemon! An overwhelming malice, aimed at the one who hit him hard enough to make his head hurt. Awkwardly plowing through Clucky's and Milotic's attacks, he made a frenzied lunge right at Cynthia, Milotic and Iris! ...The lattermost of which was still oblivious to the danger. Hey, is that the sound of battle out there?? She wanted to see! Maybe don't let her go just yet though. Y'know. Just in case something horrible happens.

The earth itself trembled underfoot as Rex stepped, shattering underneath the champion duo and milotic in an attempt to violently throw them! Of course, since Iris was currently ... let's call it incapacitated, her safety was in Cynthia's hands.

Rex didn't even stop though, lunging over the exploding earth to try and scoop up some of his targets into his awaiting maw!

...And then he stopped--in mid-air. Reshiram could be observed glowing with psychic energy nearby. Rex flailed his limbs, but could not regrab the ground. Rather, he was promptly yanked back and dragged into the air! He was then violently slammed down into the ground, only for the ground to promptly explode with power underneath him and launch him back into the air, along with a burst of power. ...Oh. Right. Titan of the pokemon world chilling right over there.

This impressive display was ended with a beautiful crystal forming around Rex's body, entrapping him in it and freezing him in place! It didn't look like he could move at all in there. " . . . Phew! Glad that's settled." White remarked, placing a hand on her hip and just kinda casually observing the scene. --Huh. She felt out of place all of a sudden. There weren't enough moms to go around. Better go poke Purple to see if he's alive. "Everyone alright?" White asked, approaching Purple in particular. Iris tried to respond, but y'know. She couldn't be understood. It sounded vaguely like a muffled yeah though.


Meanwhile, Peach had moved to address Daisy and begin healing Xerneas on her own. Oh right! She was a healer. Love magic flowed from her hands, but she seemed a bit upset. It was impacting her performance. Xerneas was coming back to consciousness, but he was still quite weak. "I will do what I can..." she softly replied. Goodness, she seemed like she might join in on the crying if you weren't careful! It was easy to forget that she was a sweetheart when she was wasn't beating people up and humiliating them.

It was not the most settling thing in the world for Daisy to see a trainer so scared of her own Pokémon.
“…Oh yeah. Forgot to bring your badges with you.” She sucked her teeth with woe. Clearly saying that wasn’t helping, so she just held Valorie closer and more securely. Poor thing almost trembled out of her grip. Guess it was up to the human trainers to stop him after all.

(Hey! Get back here!) Clucky crowed in frustration as Rex just marched through his Brick Breaks.
Fighting type moves, Ice moves, a Tree, what stops this thing? Something better stop him now! He was headed straight for Cynthia and Iris!
“Look out! Quick Clucky! Use!-” Purple was about to order a Flamethrower when Rex suddenly froze in mid-air. Clucky could only belch smoke as the sudden half took him off guard. What? How?
Looking for the source of this sudden development, they found Reshiram holding had the Tyrantrum in his psychic grasp.
“Reshram! …Phew that was close.” Purple’s worried face unfolded into one of relief. (Good work, team!) Clucky praised Reshram with a thumbs-up, finally catching up to the dinosaur. They both took a rather cathartic joy in seeing Rex get tossed and hammered into the ground like a child’s plaything. Way to show him! And to top it off, Reshram sealed the Tyrantrum up in crystal. It was actually quite pretty.

“Woah…Uh… Yeah, I’m fine. That was…” Purple replied with a sigh of relief, wiping his brow and catching his breath. He promptly lost his breath again turning to face White. Was his heart beating and were his arms and legs feeling all noodle-like now because of what just happened, or what was happening now? Either way man Say something! “That was… just Mega Ultra Alpha!” He began gushing like a fanboy over what White and her Reshram just did. “That Tyrantrum was all ‘GROAR! Me Gonna Eat You!’ But then you and Reshram were all like ‘Halt in the name of the Truth!’” He began to act out what everybody literally just saw a second ago. “And then Justice! He was all like WRAAO-OOF! Make it Stop!-OOF!” He began to jump up and down, doing an impression of Rex getting hammered. “And then you made him stop! Like for real!” He pointed at the Tyrantrum frozen in crystal. “It’s actually a really nice sculpture! Veritable work of art.” He took a pause to admire Reshram’s handy work. Even gave it a clap.
“Anyway I just wanna say…” Purple finally concluded, calming down from the adrenalin rush. He took off his hat and bowed to the champion that she was. “T-thank you for your help… Champ.”

(Ha! See, that’s what you get when you mess with the best!) Clucky went on to boast to the crystallized fossil on his whole party’s behalf. (When you’re itching for a rematch? Any time, any Place, Big Boi!) He confidently taunted where he could be seen from within the crystal. It’s not like that would ever come back to haunt him or anything.

“…Oh yeah. I keep forgetting you could do that, Bonbon.” Daisy smiled in admission, admiring Peach’s healing magic.
