Rundas looked at Rosalyn for a minute. She was being awfully stubborn about this, but he couldn't deny that she had a point. Besides, Rosalyn would know more about the Rose then he did.

"Alright Rosalyn, I'll let you do this. Just let me try to calm her down first" Rundas said. He knelt down to the girl that was clinging to his leg. "Listen. This isn't going to hurt. All Rosalyn is g0ing to do is prick your arm. It won't hurt a bit. you can even hang on to me while she does it. Does that sound fair?"

It was time for Rosalyn to be proven right so she pricked the girl's arm with a needle, and soon after, a single rose petal shot out of it and towards a nearby wall, causing it to explode and cover the wall in mutated cookie dough that had faces all over it, begging for Rosalyn and Rundas to free them. Rosalyn, instead of doing what the voices said wiped away the bit of rose petal's on her needle and placed it back into her pocket.

Before glaring at the girl's error in regards to faking her blood. "Little girl, do you mind telling us why your blood is the same like those people in those depressing romantic fanfic's that I caught my close friend reading the other day?" Rosalyn demanded for the girl to answer, only for her to scream and her eyes to glow red.



She began to laugh, like the rose as her skin melted off to reveal the Rose, who shook her head as Rosalyn took out her pea gun. "She almost tricked us, but now were going to trick it and save everyone that she trapped in the cookie dough's that she made." Rosalyn realised that the Rose had blocked off every exit in this room, perfect, now they can finish this battle once and for all without the Rose acting like a coward and hiding.

The rose started her attacks first by firing a blast of acid cookie dough towards Rosalyn and Rundas, the former trying to jump out of the way on time.

Rosalyn dodged the first acid throw from the Rose and looked up to her. "Is that the best that you could do?" She taunted to the plant as she was quickly hit by the second acid. The other remaining acid being aimed at Rundas, who, if he was close enough to one of the doors, would hear a banging from the other side. "Hi, this is Needle Joy, the joy who is obsessed with needles. I came to tell you that I have created a sedative that could calm any crazy people down, such as the Rose that had struck this hospital. I'll move it on the door, but please try to use it as a second, pacifistic way in defeating the enemy." The joy from the other side of the door informed.

Before rolling a syringe down near Rundas for him to pick it, and perhaps use on the Rose if he's close enough.



(If you decide to pick up the needle, then you must roll a 20 in Dexterity to run up to the Rose and inject her with the sedative. Doing this will give you an alternative to defeating Rose and perhaps an extra reward.)

Rosalyn meanwhile fired forward to the Rose. "Take this and that and those and them!" Rosalyn fired three peas at the Rose, who tried to slice through them with a cookie shaped knife, which even Rosalyn briefly stopped to look at. "Really, your some sort of being that can create anything and you create a cookie shaped knife because of your obsession with them?" Rosalyn just shook her head at the Rose.

As Rosalyn took the blood sample from the girl, Rundas's face fell as he saw the needle fill up with green. "Well, I wanted to trust you, but it looks like I don't have a choice." Rundas said sadly. As the Rose revealed herself, Rundas moved into an offensive position. Until, of course, the acidic cookie dough came rocketing toward him.

Unfortunately, the small space the hospital room provided very little room for Rundas to move, let alone fly. The acid hit him square in the chest, smoking slightly as it was quickly cooled. Serving only to fuel Rundas's resolve, he aimed his blaster at the Rose once again and opened fire.

Rosalyn looked sad at Rundas remark but never the less she ran over to her partner when he got hit by Rose's acid and ran over to him. "Are you ok Rundas, I apologise for my plant's actions." She turned towards the Rose, who was silent for some reason, and that was because of Rundas critical blast had managed to freeze the Rose temporarily, which gave Rosalyn the time to run over towards the dough covered windows and cut through them with her sword, where she soon opened it.

"Perfect." She turned back towards Rundas. "Rundas, do you have anything you want to do with the Rose, because if not then I might be able to finish her off by calling in reinforcements." Rosalyn waited for Rundas response, unaware of the needle that was behind Rundas that the Nurse Joy from earlier had pushed under the door.

Rose meanwhile tried to get out of her ice prison that Rundas had trapped her in.

Unfortunately her first attempt to break free was a success and she laughed as she prepared her attack towards Rosalyn. "Oh no!" Rosalyn shouted as Rose summoned two explosive cookies and fired them towards Rosalyn and the window. Rosalyn tried to get out of the way.

Rosalyn fell to the side after getting hit by the second cookie, Rose looked down at the girl as she laughed. Rosalyn sat up, holding her side in pain. "Your not going to get away with turning the Life Sphere into a cookie paradise Rose. This is where it all ends!" She yelled back to her creation as Rose held up her hand, intending to attack Rosalyn once more. Rosalyn got out her pea gun and aimed it at Rose, intending to attack the plant once more as well.

"I'll be fine" Rundas answered Rosalyn, watching as he blaster's fire froze the Rose solid. Admiring a good shot, Rundas stepped back as Rosalyn opened one of the windows. His foot nudged against the needle that was on the floor, and he remembered the words that Needle Joy told him.

"I think I have an idea." Rundas said. Picking up the needle, Rundas made his way over to the frozen Rose. But as he was doing so, he heard a sharp crack! The Rose was breaking free! 

"Oh no you don't!" Rundas yelled. He made a diving leap toward the Rose and tried to jab the needle into her.

Unfortunately, Rundas missed his mark, and the Rose broke free of his ice. Wasting no time, Rundas made to try to freeze the Rose again

Rose moved out of the way when she saw that Rundas was heading towards her with the needle, and laughed, before realising that Rundas had succeeded with stabbing her with the needle, causing her to scream as Rosalyn noticed that all of the cookie dough in the area was starting to move towards the Rose, as did all of the other cookie dough that the Rose had created at the hospital and at Busy Bee Lobby.

They moved in through the window that Rosalyn had managed to open and into the Rose as it completely covered her, the cookie dough started to spread throughout the room as Rosalyn raced towards the door into the hospital's halls and opened them.

As she did, she turned to Rundas. "Rundas hurry, before the cookie dough consumes you!" She warned her partner, weather or not he got out on time.

The cookie dough stopped expanding before it could cover the entire room and suddenly disappeared, leaving the sedated Rose in it's place as Rosalyn and a group of Nurse Joy's reentered the room to find that everything, has turned back to normal.

"Hmph, I guess I won't need to use my final smash after all." She turned towards the Nurse Joys. "Please take care of Rose, she's just a scared plant who needs help, she didn't mean to cause that much damage. On one hand, the cookie dough didn't kill anyone!" Rosalyn tried to think about the bright side of the situation.

Meanwhile at Busy Bee Lobby.

After everyone was safe again once the cookie dough that the Rose had created in that area vanished, everyone who was trapped within the cookie dough again was able to breath again, like a woman and her child, her husband was not as lucky.

"That was fun, I want to eat cookies daddy!" The kid cheerfully clapped to his father, who was not responding. "Daddy?" He called out for his father again, slightly worried this time while his mother looked on, shocked at what had happened to her husband.

Back at the hospital, Rosalyn started to walk to the front entrance, relieved that this was finally dealt with. "I should never mess with genetics of a plant ever again, maybe i'll work on humans next time." She then turned back towards Rundas. "Thank you for helping me today Rundas. I guess you can say that the mission is complete."

Rosalyn then turned towards the door. "Now to find where Ninjabread Man, Conker, Dillion and Russ could of gone too so we can head back to the Treebarn for the day, it's been one crazy day." Rosalyn walked towards the door.

(Rundas can either follow Rosalyn to witness something happening outside of the hospital or he can simply leave, thus ending his presence in this thread.)

Rundas looked at the Rose he was firing at, hearing her scream out in pain. Huh, looks like Rundas's attempt with the needle worked after all. As the Rose screamed bloody murder, Rundas could see cookie dough gather at her feet, and quickly expanding. As the available space in the already small room grew smaller, Rundas hurriedly got out of the way, lest he get swallowed up by the all-consuming dough.

Once he got to the safety of the hallway and Rose in the hands of the Joys, Rundas joined Rosalyn at the front entrance. "Glad to be of service, Rosalyn. Perhaps you'll be more careful in the- I'm sorry, what?" Rundas started, but got distracted by Rosalyn's comment about experimenting with humans. Shaking his head and deciding that he didn't want to be part of whatever Rosalyn had in mind next, he bid her farewell and made his way back home. This truly was one of the strangest bounties he had ever taken.

"Thank you for helping too!" Rosalyn waved Rundas cheerfully goodbye as she left the hospital to begin her search for Dillion, Russ, Conker and Ninjabread Man.

While she did eventually found out that Conker and Ninjabread Man were going to be checked into the hospital for injuries they had sustained in trying to clear the hospital out of the dough. Dillion and Russ were still missing and with each minute passed, Rosalyn got worried for the brothers.

She did eventually find them behind the hospital, but she gasped at what she was seeing.

"Dillion, Russ!" Rosalyn called out towards the brothers as she raced towards them.



The brothers were in the back of a Toad Officer's van, having been caught and arrested by King Ron and the Toad Officer while they were doing the mission.

Rosalyn stopped by the side of the car and banged on the door, causing Ron to roll down his window and look down at Rosalyn. "What are you doing, those brothers are with me!" Rosalyn pouted, Ron simply laughed.

"There criminals, fugitives back in my world who deserved to be locked up for what they were trying to do, but don't worry, you can visit them in prison, which they'll spend the rest of there lives in for being bandits." Ron laughed as Rosalyn shook her head.

"No, you can't do this!" Ron rolled up his wind screen and the van began to drive away, Rosalyn chased after the brothers, who called out to Rosalyn as they were driven to the Toad Police station.

"Rosalyn!" Dillion weakly called out.

"Rosalyn, just forget about us, we deserve it for what we done." Russ lamented, Rosalyn tried to shout back.

"No, you did what you had to to protect your homeland, don't worry guys!" Rosalyn finished as she watched the van drive away.

She began to tear up.




"I'll save you...I will save you...I failed My father, but I will save the both of you and Shizuka."
