It seemed like Bowser pushed his luck, as when he and Luigi would enter the next room. He would find that there was a pit of lava just below him and Luigi. At the other side of the room was the door that would take them to the last room of the basement, where the power crystal is located. The bad news is that the two need to cross a very old bridge to reach said door and even making the simplest wrong move would cause the bridge to break in half and cause problems for the two.

But if they want the power crystal then they must cross this bridge. Or else they can turn back and continue on there quest to save Coco. Although losing the chance to get the crystal in the process and probably miss the chance to help out the Life Sphere. Back in the last room, the mysterious figure in the darkness growled in a distorted tongue as she closed her eyes. While the firefly that helped Bowser and Luigi guide the way to the next room of the basement sat up on the light bulb and slept next to it.

(To reach the final room of the basement, you must roll a 15 in dexterity to reach the bridge. Be aware, for if you fail, then the bridge will snap in half!)

“Way to-a go!” Luigi congratulated Bowser with a round of applause. “Now let’s-a get outta here.”
Safe or not, he didn’t want to be in a dark room with a giant monster in it any longer.
But the grass on the other side of the fence is always greener till you jump the fence and find out it’s painted.

Luigi took one step through the door, and took three steps back.
He was no longer in a dark room with a monster, he was in a was in a bright hot chamber full of lava with a monster!
“Not-again!” Luigi screeched, jumping into Bowser’s arms. Realizing what he did, he screened again and jumped out of his arms. This was weird. He’d been in rooms like this with Bowser so many times before, but not with them both on the same side of the bridge like this.

Bowser’s batting average with bridges with in his favour, and this bridge didn’t look sturdy enough to hold them up for a battle either. And Luigi couldn’t just ditch him to fall into the lava the way he and Mario used to. He and Bowser were a team now.

“Hmmm...”
But whether it be to look for a way out, or an excuse not to go on the adventure, Luigi’s mind was always moving. Inspecting the first plank of the bridge and counting them across to the end, Luigi could estimate the bridge’s length. And it gave him an idea.
“Ay! I’m-a got an idea!” Luigi exclaimed. “Only one of-a us has to cross the bridge on-a foot: Watch-a this!”

Luigi stood carefully at the front of the bridge, and instead of getting a running start, he crouched down. And charged himself up.

While Luigi surprisingly made it to the other side of the room, Bowser unsurprisingly didn't and was sent down towards the lava. Unless he grabbed and climb up the broken half of the bridge then he will be able to get back up to Luigi and the two could enter the final room and get the power crystal.

Meanwhile Luigi can just either leave Bowser to burn or stay and try to help him.

(Bowser must roll a 15 strength roll or higher to grab onto the bridge and climb back up to Luigi. If not, then he will fall into the lava and get 50% damage and 30% chance of being burned. If he rolls between 10-14 then he will only manage to cling onto the bridge but won't be able to climb up. He must roll again to climb up and should he fail then the broken part of the bridge he is on will break and he will fall into the lava. Luigi can help also!)

Déjà vu. Normally this would mean victory for Luigi, but that wasn’t his opponent, that was his team mate this time!
“Oho No!” Luigi gulped as Bowser plummeted out sight. “What do I do? What do I’m-a Do?” he shook his head in panic. “…What am I talking about? He’s-a Bowser. He falls in-a lava all-a the time. He’s a probably fine.” He reassured himself.

The final room with the power crystal in it was right behind him. He could turn around and head in, grab the crystal and save Coco before Bowser can get his TNT and cause mayhem. Win-wins all around!
Luigi turned around to leave Bowser behind…

…But he couldn’t take a step. Like we said, it was his team mate who had just fallen, and he had to go back for him. That’s what team mates do. That’s what he’d do for Mario and that’s what Mario would do for him. And now Luigi’s gonna do it for Bowser.

Rushing back to the edge Luigi saw that Bowser was still falling alongside the bridge. Gee how fast is this post going? Quickly examining the bridge as it fell Luigi noticed something scary. Even if Bowser were to grab on, it wouldn’t hold his weight! This was how Luigi was going to help.
Putting his long resume in plumbing, construction and demolition business to use by mechanically securing the top of the bridge so Bowser could climb up.

With the Aide of Luigi's fixing of the Bridge, Bowser would grab onto the Wooden bridge, Suddenly hoisting himself to start climbing up the Broken Bridge, Growling as he suddenly threw himself up, Tucking into his Shell and using his Whirling Fortress technique to Hurl himself right up onto the ledge luigi found himself on, Slamming onto the ground with a "Groah!", Among many other bowser noises, As he stood up, stumbling a little before grinning quite happily!

In the next and final room that the two would enter from they would find that the Power Crystal was just within there sites in this surprisingly fancy room. They just have to make it to where the display case is and open said case to grab the crystal, there's just one thing that's stopping them from reaching the crystal. If they try to make one step towards the crystal, they would be met by little tiny worms.



But not just any worms, these are tiny versions of the well known creature known as the Unagi and they have very sharp teeth which they like to chomp just to prove how dangerous there teeth were. Despite this they are still worms which Luigi and Bowser can easily step on. However each time they got closer and closer towards the crystal, more and more would appear so it's best to hurry and break open the display case.

However it will be hard due to how strong the case around the crystal is.

(To smash open the glass display and grab the power crystal. You must roll a critical roll in strength. Failure will result in five Unagi's being shot out towards Luigi and Bowser where they will try to bite them.)

It’s working! He’s doing it! Bowser’s climbing up-He’s coming right at me! Luigi backed out of Bowser’s way, and he kept scooting after landing on his butt. He did it! He saved his once sworn enemy. This backwards day doesn’t stop for commercials.

“Eheh..yeah…L-let’s ago.” Luigi stutteringly agreed to get out of this furnace already.
There it was. The Power Crystal! As shiny and beaconing as any Power Star or Shine Sprite.
“Come to Papa!” Luigi licked his lips, marching toward the crystal before being met with worms.

“Jeepers!” Luigi quacked, backing away from the worms. As these weren’t just any worms, these were the horrifying Unagi, only mini.
“What-are we gonna do?” Luigi complained about the miniunagi. “What would Mario do? Hmm…” He pondered out loud. “…He’d probably find a way to smash open the case first.” He deduced, slightly imitating Mario’s lower voice and thicker accent.

“…Then again, even if we Did get the case open,” Luigi went back to pondering in his normal voice “How are-a we gonna the Crystal without the Unagi getting us for lunch?” quite the conundrum indeed…

“…I’m-a got it!” Luigi lit up with an idea. He took out his secret weapon: The Poultergust 5000! …Again!
“Bowser! Uh-heheh...” He tried to let King of the Koopa in on the idea but not before shrinking under his gaze first. “...W-what say You try to smash that display case with your big-a strong muscles and spikes, whilst I’m-a take care of those toothy snakies?” He suggested, cocking his Poultergust, ready to suck any Unagi that come their way.

Bowser's attempt to break open the glass and snatch the crystal failed. He had to do it by himself and Luigi was focused on looking out for the Unagi's that would come out from the walls any second now. Sure enough they did and quickly got sucked into Luigi's poltergust without a second thought, or had a chance to bite the two. Luigi can help Bowser break open the glass or suck it in with his poltergust. But either way Bowser has to try again or else he and Luigi can just leave and search for Coco.

There choice, although the answer was probably obvious to the two.

It seems like the second try worked and together Luigi and Bowser had finally got the power crystal, and at the right time because the Unagi's all shot out towards the two. A whole horde of them was about to bite into the plumber and turtle when the crystal started to glow again and teleport Luigi and Bowser away.



When Luigi and Bowser came to they were back in the stairway of the factory. In front of them was the door to the second floor hallway in the factory.






Upon entering they would see that it was flooded, with tons of cardboard boxes floating around...There was also something in the water, but if they want to get to the other side of the hallway and continue on there quest for Coco, then they must jump on each box until they make it to the other side.

(You must roll a 15 in Dex to reach the other side of the hallway without falling in the water!)

Meanwhile Coco watched the two from the second floor cameras and sighed. "Finally and they have the power crystal. Hopefully they'll get here soon." Coco continued to spin around on the chair she was on. She maybe a genius but she was still a child.

“Bingo! Hohohoho!” Luigi cheered as his trick shot worked. The Crystal was as good as there’s… as good as Bowser’s?
“Really?-Aw.” Luigi’s moustache perked up at Bowser’s praise, only for it to droop back down when he shut him down.
Speaking of Bowser’s minions showing up, there was no time to feel bad about it. With nothing left to defend, the Unagi came attacking all at once! “Marioooo!” Luigi hollered, eyes shut tight in primal fear. Had they been open, he’d see the cystal began to glow…

Still trembling, anticipating the onslaught of Unagi, it took the floor below him changing into a stairwell for Luigi to realize something happened. “Oof! My tushi!” Luigi honked, falling on his butt, opening his eyes and realizing it was stairs and not Unagi biting him.
“Ay! Where are-a we?” Luigi looked around in surprise. “Where’s all-a the snakies?” Not that he really wanted to know. As long as they weren’t where they were, that was fine. But where were they?

“Oh great, another room.” Luigi sighed reluctantly. Not wanting to turn around and find Unagi coming for them, Luigi resigned to go to the next room.

“Oh lookie! Platforming!” Luigi exclaimed, welcoming the change to a familiar pace. Naturally Luigi was a wiz at this sort of stuff. Much better to fall in water than fall into lava after all.
