Lemres couldn't help but smile upon seeing Schezo's day get brighter. His plan, while a bit bumpy, is a resounding success. The party was winding down, it was near cleanup...

Knock knock.

Who could that be? Could it be the extra 'present'? While Schezo was busy having a good time, Lemres came up to the door to answer it.

"Is this where the party is?"
"Yep, you're in the right place! Come in! Alright everyone, this is the thing I was setting up for! I wanted to give Schezo something to remember, and it's group photo~. Gather up, folks!"

And the finale, a photo to remember this by! Lemres tried to make room for some of the photography equipment, attempting to gather people around to fit within the frame. What little furniture that was in the room was moved aside or arranged to make a pleasing backdrop. Some fumbling was to be expected, whether it be height arrangement or other external bothers, but once everyone was in position, Schezo front in center...

"One...two...three!"

*snap!*

The deed was done. The picture inevitably would be a belated present, but it'd be a nice item to hang in the room. There's not much left to do other than hang out.

As the shortest in the group, Arle took her position in front of Rulue and flashed a bright smile accompanied by an optimistic peace sign toward the future. Meanwhile, Raffina would find her way standing before Lemres and Schezo. Boy--her hair was big! She rarely felt self-conscious about it, but it was strangely relevant for once. She did her best to fit in though, short enough still to not block their faces. She too struck a flattering pose as the group nudged in close together to get them all in frame. A picture that would remind Schezo of them all every time he looked at it. Before they could take the picture though, one last thought occurred to Arle. "--...Hey!" she remarked, leaning in and attempting to initiate a group hug. It felt appropriate since they were being asked to fit into the frame and all. She was still getting used to the idea that it was okay to be handled like this, but thankfully she'd already had a... bit of practice, so this wasn't the hardest thing for her to accept.




...There would be plenty of downtime and relaxation before the girls decided they wanted to go home and get some rest, but all nice days had to come to an end.

“Ymmm Whmm thmm Smmd!”
Pit provided a muffled chew in agreement with Raffina and Arle’s sentiments.
Pit felt so glad to see a smile return to Schezo’s face.
He felt even gladder to see a cake return to his own face.
If only there were a way to cheer Dark Pit up like this.

Then what should arrive at the door but photography equipment.

“A gwoo phohtoth?”
Pit chewed in excitement.
He swallowed what was left in his mouth as quickly as he could, checked his teeth in the reflection of his shiny cuffs and hustled over to the photo spot where everybody else was huddling up.
Pit wasn’t the tallest patron at the party, but his wings made it hard not to obscure anyone behind him, so this forced him to take a spot in the back row.
Being in the back row however freed his wings to open and flex.

“Cheese Cake!”
Pit smiled with a big wide grin of pure bliss as he made two peace signs with both his hands… behind Schezo and Lemeres’ heads.
They wouldn’t find out about this prank until they saw the photo.
Pit certainly wasn’t going to spoil the reveal himself.

Then all too soon, what should arrive at the door but another knocking.
Answering it revelaed to be a tall muscular centurion with a face as stern and stoic as stone.

“Captain Pit? You done playing with your human friends yet?”

“Aw man. That’s my ride.”
Pit pouted, understanding this meant his party time was over.
“Thanks for the party, Schezo. Happy Birthday, bro, but I’ve gotta go. Got a patrol to get back to.”
Pit bid Schezo and his guests farewell with a warm rapid handshake.

“I’ll never forget the time we’ve spent together. Alas, parting is such sweet sorrow.~”
He sighed melodramatically… to what little was left of the cake.

Reluctantly jumping into the large centurion’s arms, he spread his wings and whisked Pit back up to Skyworld to resume his duties.
