Unsurprisingly, Ringo was spooked- no wait, terrified of the piano springing to life and about to have Ringo as a midnight snack. Driven by pure adrenaline, she sped to the other side of the room, wanting to GET THE HECK OUT OF DODGE! Ringo can get pretty cacophonic when she's scared, but is it loud enough to pierce through the dissonant clanging of the piano keys? Sure it's slow, but Ringo can only run for so long until the adrenaline crash gets to her.

"STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY FROM MEEEEEEEE!!!"

Junko huffed as she saw the inhuman monster on the other end of the room dissapear, and the sounds of movement were coming from around the room. Something that scary? Now thats something Junko needs. She'll keep in in her apartment and feed it the bones of her enemies. And perhaps candy, if its a good boy. Or girl. Could it be a girl?? Junko would like a comic monstrosity girl. 



"Aw, come on, no need to run away~ Ill teach you to not be so shy, and we can go cause Despair! Doesnt that sound fuuun~??" She asked, before using her Summon Monokuma ability to make a second of her Teddy-bear minion.



"Upupupu~! Ready for orders, Ma'am!" The two monokuma's said with a solute, as junko pointed forward.

"Search for whats making the noise. I wanna see it, and capture it, and probably use it to chase down innocent people i can either murder or corrupt! One of the two~"

With the order received, the two monokuma's marched off, looking for what was making such noises...

Ringo

The piano chases Ringo! ...At barely past walking speed. Unfortunately, whatever unholy powers had given it life had not made it's legs very flexible. Or perhaps it was being weighed down by its latest meal. It was truly bad at moving either way, as hard as it tried. Ringo is able to get to the other side of the room without issue, the awful sounds of the piano just barely failing to drown out her voice, being drowned out in turn. She wound find herself at the doors to the mushroom garden. The floor transitioned to wood here, which promptly gave out under Ringo's understandably heavy footsteps, forcefully tripping her and sending her falling through the cardboard-fragile door leading outside! It would be a very jarring fall, but thankfully the stairs leading into the garden were only a couple of steps. When she got up, or even just looked up, she would find herself in a dark forest ... full of giant mushrooms. It was actually quite small, but somehow seemed far bigger on the inside. The forest was very quiet right now, which was probably comforting given the racket coming from behind her.

The forest beckons, but what could you possibly find of interest here..? Perhaps you can find your way off the property from through here?

The Mad Piano's noise is now more distant. If you keep going, you'll likely lose it.

Rosalyn

The master bedroom was large but utilitarian, as expected from the adult of the house. There were a bunch of empty medicine bottles littering the ground, as well as the remains of what appeared to have been a lamp and various other garbage. A queen bed laid on top of a rug. It hadn't been made in a long time. The roof's paint was beginning to peel away near one specific side of the room, the side facing inwards towards the rest of the house specifically. The footsteps from the hallways continued only to go silent for a moment, following which the door to the master bedroom abruptly shut. A strong force was preventing it from being opened again.

You didn't think it was a coincidence this door alone was open, did you..?

...Silence. The ambient noise noticeably drained away, leaving Rosalyn in an unnatural silence that wasn't present elsewhere in the house. Only the noises she herself made could now be heard.

((Rosalyn. The atmosphere has become heavy. The headache inducing clawing sensation on your mind has intensified. Something isn't right here...))

Regardless, she is able to read the note she picked up now. It contains an address to a place that doesn't appear to be a part of the life sphere, as well as the name of a woman and a list of contact info, including a phone number, an email address and a photograph of a pretty woman standing in a flattering pose. One could only come to their own conclusions about what it all meant.

Junko

The monokumas are able to search the room, but have difficulty finding the source of the noise. After a long moments of searching, the source would abruptly become apparent as it sounded off one more time ... from directly below Junko. She would be able to feel the floor shifting under her feet a little, bouncing with the force of something underneath. Should she look down, she would discover two white eyes peeking up at her from betwixt the floorboards. Suddenly the floor itself began to part, the boards becoming blocky teeth as the house itself opened up to consume Junko. There was suddenly nowhere left to stand, the darkness inviting Junko down into the aby--...No, wait. It was only like a 12 foot drop. As the house warped around her, Junko would find herself toppling into the pitch black room below. (Sealed Bathroom on the map) The room was flooded with a good foot of liquid and Junko would be able to hear a sink running nearby. That probably explained the flooding... It was pitch black down here and Junko would be able to feel something oppressing her mind down here, likely beginning to cause a headache... Something wasn't right here.

Rosalyn listened to the voice before replying back. "Well I had no other choice, it was obviously a trap." Rosalyn said as she felt her headache getting worse once she was inside the master bedroom. "Ow." Rosalyn said as she opened the letter and began to read, noticing that the location was not in the Life Sphere, maybe not in LI al all, she then noticed the contact information the letter had before putting the letter back in her bag.

But kept the picture of the woman out, becoming interested in it.

"Well I know what i'm doing later." Rosalyn thought as she took out her ghost bat to see if there was a ghost in the room as she began to look around.

"Ok time to begin my new search."

[Rina]

"BWAAH!"

Tripping on the broken flooring, she tumbled into the door that, too, gave away from Ringo's weight alone. Crawling backwards, scrambling to get on her feet, she ran further away driven by flight response until she lost the Piano...

"Hah... hah...hah... I got away. At least the monster piano was slow, right Ciel?"

...and Ciel. Uh oh.

".....Ciel...?"

Realizing she got separated, she looked to and fro at her surroundings, looking for her. She was still terrified, she had no idea where she went, and she had no idea where she is. No matter where she looked all she saw were mushrooms and no Ciel. Her fears only magnified as she frantically called out, hoping she'd be around.

"Uhmmmm....uhmuhmuhnhuhm C-CIEL! CIEEEEL! WHERE ARE YOU!??"

...but only her own echoes were all that she could hear. She was alone.

Looking down upon the ripping bathroom floor, Junko's eyes opened up in excitement with a loud gasp of joy as she was swallowed up by the black abyss, sending her into a long drop, which she accepted with a loud "Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee~!!" to her fall, probably loud enough for the rest of her lost comrade's could hear her, until she finally landed butt-first into a bathroom full of water. 




Junko huffed, pouting as she stood up, her Monokuma's dropping in with her onto the ground to her side as she shook her hips. "Aww, now my underwears all wet! Hmph, this would be super embarrassing if anyone were to peek!"

"....I said it'd be super embaressing is anyone were to peek!!"

"Welp! I have proven there are no perv ghosts. Oh well~" Junko got off the idea of perverted ghosts coming to look and see how water had affected junko's underwear as she clicked the flashlight ciel gave her onto the On-side,as her monokuma's red-eyes simply flashed brighter to give them flashlights of there own. "Ooo, spooky bathroom! I mean, this is basically what my soul looks like, but, eh." Junko said, shrugging as she started clutching her head.


"Ow....This pain..." Junko kind of hesitantly shut her eyes, as her voice shifted into something more natural than the ultra-girly tone she normally had....Before focusing on the pain, her face cracking into a twisted smile as her eyes opened bright with shrunken pupils. "I FOUND MY FAVORITE ROOM!" She said out loud with her voice returning to normal, as she started skipping through the flooded room, as the two monokuma's looked at one another, shrugging. Even they didnt know what was up with there master sometimes.

Rosalyn

...Rosalyn, who are you talking to~? That text didn't have quotes around it. It wasn't dialogue! Uhuhuhu... Perhaps our heroine is already losing her mind and she isn't even aware of it, yet. Rosalyn's device once again confirms that there is an infrared disturbance in the room, but nothing about the room other than it's rather painfully heavy aura suggested anyone else was there. There's zero activity, currently.

Unfortunately, Rosalyn is only able to observe what was previously mentioned in the last post from her current position. She'll have to search the room with more focus before she can actually discover anything. Perhaps the side of the room with peeling paint might be hiding something, or the garbage on the ground, or the bed itself? There were many places to search, albeit it was questionable if the trash on the floor held anything and the wall was seemingly just a wall. This left the bed as the only area in the room hiding something from Rosalyn's sights. Specifically, underneath it...

...But surely she knows better than to provoke fate. We all know what hides under beads in haunted houses. Best be careful, lest Rosalyn invite whatever was opressing her mind to take it from her.

Ringo

Oh Ringo. How could you leave your friend to die like that..? Well--Pretty easily actually in hindsight. But there weren't too many conclusions one could draw from this. Either Ciel had failed to escape, or she had fled back into the foyer. Knowing how protective Ciel could be, one might be hard pressed to believe she would simply ditch Ringo in the heat of the moment like that. Was she gone? Would Ringo ever see her again? Ringo now hada choice. She could risk going back and facing the mad piano to save her friend. Oooor she could test this so called Mushroom garden. The alien fungi would have certainly been quite interesting from a scientific perspective. The rustling of something in the foliage could be heard now that the piano had stopped making noise

Junko

Junko turns on the light Ciel gave her and the first thing that would really stick out to her would be the deep red tint of what may have previously been asssumed to be water. ...Or well, it was sort of water, but heavily contaminated with debris and what looked eerily like blood. ...Watered down blood, perhaps? The structure was heavily liquid damaged regardless. The room itself appeared to have been a bedroom at some point, a waterlogged matress barely visible through the dark, murky waters. It seemed rather sparsely decorated, at least. ...Very sparse, which was probably for the best because it means there wasn't much to hurt yourself walking or tripping into. There was, however, an anomaly to be seen. Two glimmering eyes reflected in the light Junko was shining. They were watching her from a corner of the room. It was unclear just what they belonged to through the water, but one could see a vaguely humanoid foorm laying there.

Rosalyn checked her ghost bat and was not surprised to see that there was aura in the room, however it seems that nobody else was in the room with her, just herself, Rosalyn looked around and turned her eyes towards the bed, but then focused more on the paint on the wall, maybe there was something weird about it?

"There's no way i'm checking that bad, i'll definitely die there." Rosalyn thought as she walked towards the wall and proceeded to check on it.

"Is this yellow?"

[Rina]

"...It's no use. I'm probably too far from her to be heard... If I go back there, I might be that piano's snack. If I go on, I'll lose Ciel even more."

Decisions...Dare she continue onward on her own...?

"Standing alone...
Completely alone...
There's nobody around but mee-EEEE!"

Ringo wasn't even given time to sing away her troubles from the rustling of the bushes startling her. She nearly stumbled upon herself, eyes glued to where the rustling came from. What's in there? Ringo's still rather shaken from running off, and she's scared that whatever's lurking would jump out.

"I-...is there some alien mushroom thing hiding in there?"

Go back...check the bush...Go back...check the bush...Go back...check the bush... Ringo gulped, got up, and crept closer to the bush against better judgement...

Junko turned around, looking around her dim room, as she giggled, realising she was up to her feet in bloody water....What was this stuff? Red? Junko had no idea what to make of it! Everyone knows blood is Pink, so, clearly this was not blood. Junko then turned to sense a presence over by the corner, making her grin.

"Ah, spooky ghost, Spooky ghost, Yas Queen~!" Junko  said, throwing her pigtails side to side as she overly excitedly pulled out her Gem-covered smart phone, running over and trying to get a selfie with this spooky apparition, With her two Monokuma's running over and trying to hug both Junko and the spooky figure. "By the by, Loooving the headache your giving me. Teach me how to do that sometime, Kay bae~?" Junko asked, grinning as she...did not seem to realize the danger. Or, perhaps, she just wanted to see how much danger she could trigger by being this annoying.

Rosalyn

Rosalyn had probably made a good call not checking under the bed. When she turned away from it she could feel a presence watching her, as if from underneath. There was nothing to be visibly observed should she check behind her, of course. The wall... There was definitely something interesting about it. In one corner of the wall she was observing there was a visible seam where the wall met the other wall, a seam that could not be found in any of the other corners. Why is it there, and what does it indicate? Perhaps this wall or this corner warranted further investigation?

A very shrill, piercing wail is heard from somewhere below Rosalyn, like a woman screaming at the top of her lungs.

Ringo

There was silence for a moment before the voice returned. "No aliens or spirits here, just irregular joe. Between you and me though, I wouldn't come any closer. This body's seen better days." the voice replied rather matter-o-factly. It was coming from just beyond Ringo's sight, but Ringo would be unable to see the man from his current position. He certainly sounded like a perfectly normal human, but one was left to assume there was probably a reason he wasn't showing himself. "Couldn't help but overhear your dilemna. Now I don't know how exactly a man eating pianos 'works', but if I had to wager a guess your friend is prooobably uh... 'melting'. It might be considered 'merciful' just to let her pass. That being said, I can tell you about this forest if you've got some time to listen. ...Probably a few other areas of the house too. Buuut if you decide to go back for your friend, I'll still be here. What'd'ya say?" the voice went on to explain and offer. He seemed very blasé about all of this. Did Ringo dare take another few steps further to see who it was exactly that she was talking to?

. . . Junko rushes to hug the thing she sees in the corner and it obliges, reaching out to great her with outstretched arms. The horrible thing had deep black pits for eyes and gaping toothless mouth that almost seemed to scream silently, but who are we kidding? Not much was going to scare Junko. She had a deathwish. It's hands were barely recognizable as human and it's figure was that of a deathly malnourished person. A chill would penetrate Junko's very soul as she made contact with the eager being, the chill of every last ounce of energy being drained from her being. It was officially too late to escape. Not even her soul was safe from this monster. The last thing Junko sees is the swirling pits of bleak hopelessness that are the creatures eyes and the last thing she hears is a raspy breathing noise that rapidly ramped up into an ear shattering scream as her consciousness is consumed in its entirety, leaving only a husk behind. There was no resisting or fighting her death, only an awful void that ... she probably enjoys more than anyone really has a right to. Junko's only hope for escape from this place now relied on one of the other girls freeing her spirit. ...Awkward.

Rosalyn looked and eventually touched the seam on the wall to investigate it. "A seam, why is this here, what was sewn on it?" Rosalyn thought as she heard a wail coming from below her. "Huh, what was that?" Rosalyn thought as she squatted down to hear the noise. "I guess someone just died, this really is becoming a horror movie, I wonder which one will be the generic girl that will end up being the only survivor?" Rosalyn thought as she got back up again and checked the wall, ignoring the presence from under the bed.

"I knew that bed was trouble."

[Rina]

"Who said that!?"

Ringo whipped her head around, hearing a voice from...somewhere. She can hear it, but she can't tell which direction. After hearing the voice speak, she...she did not like what she was told. "Just let her pass"? That's...that's too nihilistic for Ringo's taste! Ciel's one of the first friends she made here and she's not going to let her go like that! ...Granted she did just run away, but her flight response was in overdrive.

"I don't know where you are, but I'm not going to-"

Then a familiar-ish scream echoed into the forest.

"AAAAAH! CIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEL!"

Ringo turned a complete 180 and ran into the direction she came from, dreading the piano at the same time. She's still terrified of the thing but...someone has to go and deal with it!

Rosalyn

The wall gives slightly to Rosalyn's touch. It looks like she's found a foldaway secret passage! The wall collapses to reveal a small side room built into the wall. A foul odor rushes past Rosalyn into the room. The poorly lit side room looks... like another bedroom? This tiny bedroom had very little furnishing and Rosalyn could observe that one of the walls was completely covered in what appeared to be scratch marks. One of the walls is entirely covered by vertical scratch marks that have been crossed out in pairs of four. On the other walls, it looked like someone had tried to write something. Whatever this place was, it seemed like it had a very dark history. Was Rosalyn really safe here?

Ringo

...Ringo, your courage is admirable. As you rush back into the room you find that the piano has returned to its previous location, however a great many things are very wrong. For starters, the piano now looks new and pristine. This was in stark contrast to everything around it. It was also lacking any sort of distension in the wood that would have marked someone of weight inside of it, though this could be explained as simply being a side effect of the wood being much stronger now. Perhaps even more alarming was that the piano began to play on its own. It played a sad tune, but did not move nor acknowledge Ringo for a very long moment. If one paid attention, the ground beneath the piano was stained with... water?

The piano weeps, but for what?

After a bit however the piano would abruptly grow quiet mid-melody, as if suddenly becoming aware of Ringo's presence. A moment of silence would pass... And then, rather abruptly, a hellish chorus of piano keys were rapidly struck. This time, however, Ringo would be able to pick out what sounded similar to words from amidst the dissonant noise. The piano was imitating human speech, just well enough that one could tell what it was saying.

"WHY... HAVE YOU... RETURNED?!"

Upon touching the wall, Rosalyn quickly backed away when it gave away and gasped as the smoke quickly cleared, once it did, Rosalyn smelled something weird coming from the new room which looked to be a small bedroom. "Eww, I guess I know what that smell is." Rosalyn thought as she stepped into the tiny bedroom and noticed the scratch marks, looks like someone was trapped in this room, or maybe even died due to the smell.

"What happened to the corpse, if there is one still here?"
