Cynthia much more enjoyed the prospect of being Iris's mother than she did something as insulting as "Grandma.", and her face obviously reflected that opinion, as she nodded to reply to iris's question. "Of course i will Iris~" She said, her gentle motherly motions  softly stroking the other's long hair, listening to her ramble for a minute about the adventures they could have together as a team, exploring this new world they found themselves in...

Though, this did spark a thought in Cynthia. Would Sinnoh be ok with her gone like this? She imagined that the ones who could replace her position would be more than able to handle the region by themselves, but it didn't stop Cynthia's mind from beginning to picture everyone she accidentally left behind when she was brought here. "Mmn..." Cynthia's comfort at this idea was quickly shaken off, as she looked to see iris slowly fall asleep in her arms.

The sight of that made cynthia's worries fade almost in an instant. There were much more important things to worry about, right in her arms, after all. "I promise, when you get better, ill help teach you everything i can~ But for now, you wont get any better by staying up so much." She said, cuddling the other closer to her soft chest to continue this sense of motherly warmth. "Just hush, and rest...I promise, i wont move a muscle~"

A content sigh escaped Iris' lips. Cynthia's words were flowing in one ear and out the other as her focus waned. The champion could have her wish--This exceptionally young champ wasn't liable to wake up for quite a long while unless she was disturbed quite hard. She'd had a very rough day all things considered, and could be in better health. Her spirit, however, was stronger than ever.

Cynthia's smile continued happily as the other fell asleep into her arms, as she sighed gently, though now realizing her novella that she was in the process of reading was on the table far from Cynthia's current position. It'd be impossible to get there without letting go of Iris, and that was simply never going to happen. Oh well. Cynthia supposed iris had the right idea after all, a surprise visit like that did tucker Cynthia out a little.

She'd have to work on iris's dress tomorrow, and help her tend to her sickness as well. For right now, Cynthia was comfortable with the same prospects as Iris. Falling asleep next to a loved one...
