The egg-shaped...thing felt the missile blast on his face, however he was too concentrated to even pay attention. He began laughing constantly, like he was insane--and he was, for that brief moment--as the energy ball grew bigger and bigger.

"I am...done with you!!" N. Trance screeched. "PERISH AT THE SIGHT OF MY ULTIMATE ATTACK!" He announced as a huge laser blasted from his armor.

((Everyone! N. Trance says this is his ultimate attack, but it really doesn't work like one. Roll 11+ DEX to dodge the attack or use your shields to block the attacks, otherwise you take 20% damage.))

Amitie saw the attack come faster than she could realistically dodge. She hopelessly crossed her arms for defense, and to her surprise, a shield appeared, enveloping her and sustaining the laser's damage. Once the attack finished, Amitie went back into her normal stance as the shield vanished. "...I have no idea how I did that, but it was very cool~" Amitie muttered to herself. "Now it's my turn to use my 'ultimate attack'!" She said as she focused, a rainbow aura coursing around her.

"FEVER~!" She happily announced, her body glimmering with the rainbow aura.

(Amitie's Final Smash: Fever Time! Grants Amitie +4 stat points to her STR, DEX and CON, meaning an additional +2 on her modifiers for 5 turns!)

A magic rune then appeared below Amitie, as a pillar of light soon appeared. "Fairy Fair!" she chanted as the pillar went towards N. Trance.

Unfortunately, he was shielded by the Doppelganger, who sneered. "You will not hurt Master, not while I stand."

Rundas quickly got out of the way of N. Trance's giant laser, barely making it out of the way. "Well, I see no other option." he said "Time to end this!" With that, Rundas activated the PED unit on his suit, and entered Hypermode

( Rundas' Final Smash: Hypermode: Changes all Rundas' Ice based attacks to Phazon based ones, so they inflect Sickness instead of Frozen. All attacks get +10% damage as well. Lasts 3 turns)

Possessed by the Phazon that ran through his body, Rundas charged forward as he fired off beam after beam of Phazon energy.

Volga flew into the air, narrowly dodging N. Trance's giant laser. He glared at bot the Doppelganger and N. Trance. "It is you who will perish."

The Dragon Knight let out a deafening roar as he transformed into his Dragon Form. Volga then dive-bombed N. Trance.

N. Trance was honestly surprised that almost all of them dodged his attack. That surprise soon turned into blinding rage, as the egg-alien thing was about to turn up a temper tantrum...but he was quickly shut off due to Rundas' Phazon Blast and Volga's Dragon Form. While two of the Phazon shots were blocked by the mind-controlled Doppelganger, one of them (and the one that hurt the most) hit N. Trance.

N. Trance, feeling weaker by the second, tried to stand up. "Hah...hahahaha....I will not...be defeated...!"  He cackled as he fired a bunch of missiles...AGAIN. No variety on his part. Although the Doppelganger decided to shake things up as she emitted a huge glowing ball of light.

"Jugem!" the black-haired Arle chanted as she threw the ball of light. That light may or may not be unholy.

((Everyone! To dodge N.Trance's Desperation Missile Barrage, roll DEX 10+, else you take 10% damage. 

To dodge Doppelganger's Jugem, roll DEX 12+, else you take 21% damage. 

You can also bubble shield if you are not feeling very lucky.))

Partly thanks to her Fever Time, Amitie masterfully dodged both attacks.  She came close to the two, and cast Blast Beat...

Amitie then charged one of her stronger spells on their faces, a very serious expression crossing her face.

"Eat this! Aktina!" She chanted as the blast of pure energy...

...exploded right into N.Trance's face.

Boss N. Trance: Defeated!

The resulting explosion caused N. Trance and the Doppelganger to be blasted up and way to the sky, leaving Amitie to remark a singular "Whoopsie~" before chuckling while scratching her back of the neck. "Guess I overdid it~" She said to her allies.

She looked on as the entranced people suddenly woke up from their hypnotized state. All of them clearly looked confused, and found themselves walking away from the circus, asking questions to themselves. You know, kind of like people who just woken up from hypnosis do...kind of.

"Aw, really? Not even a thank you...?" Amitie remarked rather quietly. "Oh well, guess I gotta play the unsung hero this time."

Rundas moved out of the way of N. Trance's missiles ("I swear, he's the easiest person to read attacks from", Rundas thought), almost got in the way of Dopple's energy attack, but managed to stay out of the line of fire. As Rundas made it to a safe spot, he watched as Amitie blasted N. Trace in the face, sending him and Dopple flying.

"Overdoing it is right" Rundas said as he vented to excess Phazon, exiting Hypermode. "I bet they went 30 feet, at least"

As everyone who was captured by N. Trance wandered off, wondering how they ended up in the circus, Rundas decided that it was time to head back to the Life Sphere himself. After bidding farewell to the bubbly Amitie, and the stoic Dragon Knight, Rundas leaped up Ice Surfed away, leaving the ruined Reploid City behind him.

Volga tried to dodge both the attacks as he returned to his normal form. Although he avoided the Doppelganger's attack, he wasn't able to dodge N. Trance's missiles. The Dragon Knight went into a defensive stance and a bubble shield with a reddish tint appeared around him. It absorbed the missile attack before disappearing. Volga then watched in satisfaction as N. Trance and his Doppelganger flunky were blasted skywards. "It's not surprising. They were hardly worthy opponents." He nodded to both Amitie and Rundas before flying back to the Life Sphere.

"Uhh, byeee~!" Amitie said cheerfully, waving at both Rundas and Volga. "It was nice working with you~!"

She took a awkward glance back at the hole she created when N.Trance and the Doppelganger were blown away. So many questions began to rise. Where did N.Trance come from? Who was that bandicoot he alluded to mid-battle? How did he get to hypnotize Ringo, and most importantly, that Arle clone? How far did they go with the explosion, and where did they land? Would they be arrested?

"Y'know, with these questions, I'd almost think it's not over yet..."

Thinking nothing much of it after a long while, Amitie walked off the circus, ready to report a mission as complete. Of course, she didn't knew that the egg alien's devilry was far from over...
