Iris continued trying to resuscitate Yellow without apparent success. It was kind of difficult to tell, though, because she didn't have a whole lot of experience--as was likely self-evident at this point. She would pull away from the other after a moment, worriedly looking down at Yellow. To her dismay, she wasn't really getting the reaction she hoped for. But maybe... She would lean down and try to listen for Yellow's breathing again, unsure if she could possibly be breathing but still unconscious.

Clearly whatever method she was using for checking her breathing wasn't working, though, because she was clearly missing Yellow's vitals. Iris began to panic, just sort of flailing her arms around helplessly as she tried to rationalize what to do. "Come on, Amarillo! You can't go now! We just met!" Iris protested to no one in particular. She wiggled anxiously, looking around to see if anyone would help her. ...No, they were all busy with that regirock. Where was an adult when you needed them?! ...Probably waiting to tell the audience not to try CPR at home without proper training or something. Way to bring down the mood. Er--... Iris whined out loud as she truly believed Yellow was dying in front of her. She would grasp the other's shoulders, peering into her sleeping face searchingly. Her lips pursed as she readied herself for another round of CPR. If Yellow were awake, she would probably have noticed that Iris' grasp was now unnecessarily tight and her hands were trembling, a symptom of exactly how much pokeballs the champions was freaking right now. She would lean down and once again attempt to resuscitate Yellow using mouth-to-mouth, a tad unsure of what else to do at this point.

Nearby, Hydreigon seemed stressed out by Iris' actions. The pokemon growled irritably and spat another burst of flames at the shadow regirock, attempting to cripple it as her trainer would have likely wanted if she weren't so distracted herself.

Weavile glanced over at Iris and Amarillo. ...Okay, even I know this no time to sleep, he thought barely able to hear the blonde's breathing over the battle taking place. He wished he had a bucket of water, but he was the next best thing: a walking ice maker. He created a shard of ice in his claw that was just small enough to slip into Amarillo's clothing. He looked to his trainer with glint of mischief in his eyes, then back to Amarillo. He then proceeded to slip the small ice shard down Amarillo's back in an attempt to wake her.

Apparently a part of Regirock was still inside it, because, it seemed somewhat hesitant again. Then came the lightning.

Knowing that it was far too slow to dodge the lightning, it stood it's ground and braced itself. It was able protect itself from most of the damage however. Oh hey, Ninetails used Tail Whip!

Unable to quite avoid it, it was struck again, still managing to brush off the bulk of the attack. Oh look, Hydriegon was using Dragon Breath again.

Shadow Regirock rolled out of the way, seemingly slowed down slightly perhaps by Ninetails attacks. Cosplay came in immediately after, launching another Hidden Power at Shadow Regirock. The golem rocks seemed to have gained a metallic texture.

Unfortunately, Cosplay missed too as the rocky Pokemon rolled out of her attack's path. Regirock summoned stone shards around him, which he then launched at Ninetails, Cosplay, and Chuchu.

Cosplay fortunately, had no trouble jumping out of the path of the stone shards that were sprayed at her and the other two that appeared to be fairly close to the walking rock pile. The girl seemed to notice Regirock's lowered attack power and gave Weavile a nod. it was about time to act.

It would seem her Play Nice worked as the rocky golem seemed to be letting up. She looked over to Ninetails though when the strange fox told her to move. She could tell they were preparing something and knew she probably should not be in the way as she jumped back and watched Ninetails masterfully strike the monstrosity. Hydreigon once again proved to be of little help during this fight surprisingly.

Then the other Pikachu put on another great display. While Regirock was being assualted, she gave a worried look towards Yellow. She was still being given some strange kind of treatment she did not understand by that other girl. She tilted her head as she was not entirely sure what she was doing and tilted her head. She then noticed the Weavile making a move for her trainer as well. Before she could make out what it was doing though, her sensitive ears picked up something cutting through air.

Chuchu looked back just in time to see sharp rocks right at her face. She quickly jumped to the side and then did a flipping jump over another shard before getting onto a four legged battle stance. Her cheeks sparked as she dashed up to the Regirock. Her cheeks sparked before she rubbed them against the Regirock in a seemingly affectionate matter. This would turn out to be wrong though as a Paralyzing shock from her cheeks was what she was aiming for.

Chuchu kind of just fell over while she was attempting and did not get far. She could not really tell if it helped at all.

Meanwhile, Yellow was still sleeping as Iris performed CPR on her despite still breathing. Her mind was currently filled with thoughts of Blue to her kind of surprise. She was not entirely sure of the world outside her dreams at the moment and but would probably be confused. She then felt some kind of odd cold on her back and her eyes kind of shocked awake at the sudden coldness.  "Blue?!"

.... And right in front of her was Iris... Who seemed way too close for Yellow to be really comfortable... Why was she this close to her in the first... That would explain why there was an abnormal way of kissing in her dream. Yellow reflexively pushed Iris off at this realization more out of reaction than intention. "W-what were you doing so close?" Yellow questioned as she was still kind of disoriented from waking up. Despite falling asleep a lot, she was not used to people waking up near her... let alone right in her face. Her face was also a bit red.

He simply stepped to the side, twitching an ear as if he was brushing it off, "Irritating rock, fall!" He roared, swiping his ink covered tails across the rock's chest, hoping to either slice it in half or something really close.

Iris' eyes teared up a little. She wasn't one to shed tears lightly, but in all fairness she was becoming convinced Yellow was perishing right in front of her. That was messed up man! You didn't just... die like that! Right out of the blue! What kind of story did Yellow think this was? No, no. She refused to let this happen. Such was that Iris continued trying to give Yellow mouth to mouth, putting aside her distaste easily in her frantic state. She didn't even notice Weavile's clever slip of ice. And then... Yellow's eyes opened. For a moment Iris froze up upon noticing this. Their gazes would meet and their lips would part. And then, before Iris could react, she got shoved. Iris was thrown off Yellow and attempted to land on her feet, but staggered and fell onto her bottom a good foot from Yellow. It had kind of hurt, but only a bit.

Iris' cheeks turned a nice shade of pink and she covered her mouth with one hand to hide her expression, a tad self-conscious of her mouth at the moment for rather obvious reasons. "You weren't breathing. I had to save you." Iris replied in a rather matter-o-fact tone, deliberately avoiding acknowledging the details of how she'd gone about that. In all honesty, she was pretty embarassed and she somehow didn't presume Yellow had appreciated the invasion of space any more than she'd particularly wanted to do it. What were the odds of that?


Meanwhile, Hydreigon grew irritated with her trainer's disorientation and let loose a mighty dark pulse trough the air, the dark auric shockwave exploding forth from her body without restraint. Decidedly evil thoughts were concentrated into the large shockwave, thoughts of mauling and eating Regirock's rocky body. It would be an immense burden upon it's mind and body if it hit, potentially even enough to make the pokemon sick immediately.

Shadow Regirock quickly stepped back from the the failed Nuzzle. Next came the slice.

Shadow Regirock managed to duck down, leaning out of the cut's path. It then braced itself for the incoming Dark Pulse.

It would seem the new metallic luster wasn't just for show as it appeared to have only taken minimal damage. Despite that, it seemed to have been significantly weakened. Cosplay couldn't help but frown at the fact its defenses have been boosted. It was time for a different approach. She dug out her Rock Star Costume out of her bag and changed into it. Then she launched a bolt of electricity at Regirock. As she did this, a blur shot past her. "Weavile, use Ice Punch!"

Cosplay may not have done much damage, but she was able to slow down Shadow Regirock. Weavile seemed to have better luck damaging it despite its injuries even if it was unable to freeze it. "Captain Toad, you and the others grab the trophies and go! We'll stay here with our back up and hold him off!" The girl told the helmet wearing toad. As they began gathering their trophied friends, Regirock raised its arms as its eyes began to glow. Then he swung themn downward. Large boulders broke off the Ceiling threatening to fall on Cosplay, Weavile, Chuchu and Ninetails.

While Cosplay had managed to avoid with ease, Weavile found itself trapped under rock, squeezing its way out. Regirock was encompassed by dark Aura as it seemed to radiate power. "Be careful, it's using Synergy Burst!" the girl warned.

Chuchu messed up pretty bad as her Nuzzle failed to hit it's target. Fortunately though, the other Pikachu managed to pick up her slack. She pushed herself up steadily to continue the fight until she felt a heavy rock hit her right on the back. She fell back to the ground and felt her mobility hindered slightly. She felt she could do all she could to help at this point in time.

Chuchu pushed herself up as she looked to Yellow. Good, she was awake now and it seemed like that Weavile needed more support than the Pikachu can offer. This train of thought of course went to Yellow before she jumped and channeled Electricity into her tail. She then threw the ball of electricity at the Regirock before turning into a ball of light and returning to her Pokeball.

Meanwhile Yellow raised an eyebrow as Iris said she wasn't breathing. She was fairly sure by her dream she was just napping as usual... Wait... That means she tried CPR so she really did... "I was just asleep. My attempt to heal the Weavile made me tired. Did you even check for breathing?" Yellow questioned as her face steadily got redder.

She then scratched the top her head and noticed something was missing... "... Oh no," Amarillo said as she realized something. Her hat fell off and was facing them not far behind her... She really did not like that fact. She tried to think of something to say but Chuchu returning to her ball got Yellow's attention.

She suddenly realized Chuchu's thought before taking a Pokeball out of her holster, "Gravvy, use Bulldoze!" Yellow ordered as she threw the Pokeball at Regirock. A Golem popped out of the Pokeball and continued flying at the legendary Pokemon. Golem then curled into a ball and attempted to slam Regirock to the ground to lower his mobility.

Gravvy then uncurled and got very close to Weavile. The Golem was intent on following the movements of the other Pokemon. The Golem was going to use his Sturdy Ability to shield Weavile from any attacks that came to it's direction.

Meanwhile Yellow looked back to Iris. Yellow looked down to the ground with her face red and a flustered expression. She had no idea what to really say after basically being kissed in her sleep. She was really not happy with Iris right now.

Ninetails attempted to circle around the living rock, trying to use his disadvantageous size to trap it for more attacks. His ears flattened in shock as rocks raced toward him.

He gasped as a bone-crushing impact hit him right on the flat of his back, his lugs buckling and the cracking noise of something breaking echoing in his ears, "Gah!" He chocked out, shoving the rock off his body, "D-damn resilient creature, huh?"

His tails shot forward, their "mouths" enlarging until they spewed the deadly substance.

Iris squirmed a little where she stood, becoming a tad defensive as Yellow confronted her. She placed her hands on her hips, leaning forward a bit."Y-Yeah..! I think I would know if you were breathing! It's not like I wasn't right there at your lips or anything..." Iris went on, becoming a tad quiet and shy as she discussed her exact method of checking Yellow's breathing. Apparently her mistake was not paying more attention to Yellow's nose.

Meanwhile Hydreigon, free from being attacked or otherwise inconvenienced, took a deeeep breath and just started spewing a continuous stream of fire at the regirock. Nothing was threatening her position, so why not right? It wasn't like she enjoyed holding back, and her trainer wasn't there to make her act more stragetically...

The slowed down Regirock avoided Chuchu's Volt Switch easily enough. It soon found itself blindsided by Gravvy's Bulldoze. It braced itself for Ninetails' toxic mud. Next came Hydreigon's continuous Dragon Breath, which scorched it rather badly. Its Sturdy ability keeping it alive long enough to use Protect to block the last blast of flames.

Meanwhile, Cosplay stood beside the injured Weavile. Regirock seemed almost ready to fall. Scratch fusing with it. It was a bad idea anyway. She took the DNA Splicer out of her bag and pointed it at Weavile. "(I need to borrow your speed for a sec,)" Cosplay told him before activating it. In a flash, the two had merged.  The Pokemon that now stood in their place looked like Weavile, only it had Cosplay's ears, tail, and cheeks. It also wore her Rock Star Costume.

Shadow Regirock's eyes glowed brightly before it smashed the ground, causing stone spires to jut out under Weachu Cosplay, Gravvy, and Ninetails.

Weachu had no trouble avoiding the spires as it was a blur as it moved. Next, Shadow Regirock raised its arms as before, then swung them downward, causing boulders to break off the ceiling, raining down over Ninetails, Gravvy, and Weachu.

Once again, Weachu hardly had any trouble. Now it was their turn. It jumped into the air, two orbs of electricity forming in their claws. It spun around before combining the two orbs, launching a powerful Electro Ball at Shadow Regirock.

The Electro Ball struck Shadow Regirock in the chest, pushing it back a meter. Weachu smirked as the Synergy stone in its shoulder cracked. Yeah, that just happened. Too bad they didn't know anyone that could Synergize with Regirock. If they did, this would be that part where Shadow Regirock would go back to normal.

Then Regirock jumped, causing a tremor when it landed. Nia's eyes widened in realization as the ceiling started to crumble. "It's trying to cause the cave to collapse! We need to move!" she warned. The fused Pokemon looked back at her. It ran over and grabbed Nia before running off as Shadow Regirock used Earthquake again.

(3 Dex rolls of 16 is required to avoid all the rubble, and a Nat d20 will avoid it completely. A con roll of 12 or higher for each hit will reduce the damage from 30% to 15% and a roll of 18 or higher will reduce the damage to 0)

Unfortunately, even Weachu was helpless when it came to avoiding the rubble, despite having the best speed out everyone, and would certainly fall if nothing changed. Forrtunately, it was using its body to shield Nia.

((This is a joint post, moving myself forward in the post order with permission of everyone involved and thread creator.))

Yellow was still a bit flustered by the kiss and Iris's rather blunt excuse was not helping. Especially with the whole mentioning of the Iris being at her lips made her face get redder as she made to grab her hat. "B-being at my lips is the issue... I-I was only asleep..." Yellow stated as she trailed off. Her mind was having trouble concentrating after that kiss. She was so unfocused she did not notice the fusion or the sudden debris.

Meanwhile, Iris, while still very flustered at having given her first kiss to someone so clearly ungrateful for her heroic efforts, was a bit more in tune with reality and snapped to attention as the roof began collapsing. "Y-Yeah w-well... I wasn't expecting my first 'kiss' to be like that either. Okay?" Iris replied in confusion just before her attention was dragged to the roof. Before Yellow would know what was going on Iris was sprinting at her full force with a determined look on her face. She'd have time to be embarrassed later! There were people in danger! "Watch out!" Iris yelled as she lunged out and tackled Yellow to the ground, performing a full body pin by wrapping her arms and legs around the other. She then closed her eyes and turned her head away. As much as Yellow probably wasn't into this embrace, and Iris wasn't thrilled about the timing either, it was possible they were about to be crushed and so politeness took a backseat.

At first, Iris' tactic of tackling Yellow seemed to spare them the worst of the damage. Then, some debris crashed down onto Iris, followed by a rather large boulder landing right on her back. Yellow would hear a pained, breathless gasp from Iris at the time of impact, but at least the boulder rolled off in short order. Yellow would feel how heavy the impacts were even through her meat shield, but Iris served as a nice soft buffer to prevent any serious harm from coming to the other.

Meanwhile, the blind dragon just sort of didn't notice the cave in and got struck repeatedly over the head. It hurt Hydreigon a lot, but this only seemed to make her angry. She promptly took revenge on a boulder for striking her by ripping into it with her jaws, crushing and rapidly consuming its pieces.

Only after the earth stopped shaking some time later and the dust began to settle did Iris loosen her grip on Yellow. She would try to meet Yellow's eyes for a moment before just sort of rolling over onto her back at Iris side. Judging by the way the normally energetic and bouncy character was moving, lethargically, one could surmise that she wasn't feeling well enough to get back up right now.

Gravvy stared down the Regirock as he guarded the Weavile. However, the Golem was not expecting the Pikachu to come over with a strange device. The Pikachu then proceeded to become one with the Weavile and he was very confused by the outcome. He was not too confused however to deftly sidestep the Stone Edge before rolling out of the way of the Rock Tomb.

Gravvy then felt the earthquake his master was too distracted to notice. He looked to the mouse weasel hybrid and knew what his job was. It seemed someone else had Yellow handled after all... Whether or not it being liked was not the issue at the moment. The Weachu seemed to have troubles evading the stones so Golem covered their body with his heavy round shell. He took the damage nearly painlessly as the rocks hit his back hard. He seemed relatively unscathed by the brutal hits. He did take some recoil from his Sturdy Ability but it was worth it to protect the Pokemon as he muscled the debris out of the way.

Yellow was still a little distracted by thinking how Blue would react. She had to of seen it after her hat fell off or at least will... As a result though she caught off guard as Iris suddenly tackled her to the ground. This position was even worst as she was really not appreciating this right now.... This time it was more purposeful however as Iris got hit by a heavy chunk of debri to the back.

Yellow's did not avoid Iris's eyes as her expression lightened up a bit... Her face was still a bit red but she was more thankful for the surprise hug than the kiss.  She did not resist as she was sat on the ground and kind of just looked up. "....Thanks..." Yellow stated. She did not have the strength to say more than that one word after every other action Iris had done... But she was thankful Iris took a rock for her.

She would be more worried about Gravvy... But she managed to focus just long enough to understand he was barely hurt. She was going to lie down for a moment to recover from this event. Maybe Kitty can carry her home so she can take an undisturbed nap on the way back...

Ninetails lost his concentration for a moment as the two Pokémon fused, was that a normal occurrence for these creatures? He snapped back into the situation as rocks fell at him again, of all the repetitive actions!

He pressed his body against the wall, suffering only a coating off dust over his gorgeous fur. He nearly leapt again at the rock, when the fused creature finished the fight, wielding electricity like a Celestial Brush user.

His ears perked as a deep rumbling shook his paws, the cave was collapsing!

But...he lived...of course he lived, he was a god! "All present?" He called into the swirling dust.

As Weachu made its way out with Nia, it looked behind it to see the Golem protecting it from rubble. "There's the exit!" Weachu returned it's attention to the path ahead to see the cave's mouth and smirked. It could also make out the outline of Captain Toad and the rest standing outside. They parted when they saw Ninetails coming. once Weachu made it out, it carefully set Nia down. "I think so, except for Shadow Regirock," she responded. "We may not of been able to save it too, but I doubt this is the last we'll ever see of it," she said.

"Nia, are you alright?" Captain Toad asked. "Yes, thanks to everyone's help," she responded. THough everyone's teamwork was less than perfect, it was easily enough to defeat Shadow Regirock, at least this time. She pulled a what looked like a small blue glowing pyramid out of the bag she had been carrying. "I guess we'll head back to Life Sphere to find out whatever this is. Maybe we can find out why Shadow Regirock wanted it so badly. Be sure to pick up whatever rewards you were promised," she told the group.

....How long does this last? Weavile asked. ....I have no idea, Cosplay responded.

"Wow, that really hurt..." Iris whined as the two girls laid there, apparently left behind. Ah well. They were big girls! They'd ... um... crawl their way home. Er. Well, the good thing was that Iris wasn't that weak. She laid there for a while, yes, but after the moment passed and she had a moment to let the pain subside, Iris sat up with a groan. Huh. Back was intact. Sore, but intact. Now she just had to...

Iris looked over at Yellow. "Hey, are you alright?" Iris asked, Hydreigon returning to her side. She looked to the downed sister and decided, against her better judgment, that Yellow would probably appreciate a ride home. I mean sure there was the whole kinda-kissing thing, but she figured Yellow would care less about that then she would someone making sure she got back to the life sphere safe and sound. "Hey why don't I give you a ride back to the life sphere?" Iris offered, moving to help Yellow up. Whether she had to carry Yellow in her arms or lead her, she'd then offer and move to help Yellow onto Hydreigon's back. She would make a point to seat Yellow in front of her and wrap her arms around the other's waist, just as a precaution. Apparently Iris took no issue with being in the back seat of her own pokemon. It also helped that she had a better grip on Yellow, who was far more likely than her to have issues holding on or keeping her balance.

Regardless, Iris would depart back to the life sphere--potentially with Yellow in tow.
